    Small neopolitan shake.
    Patty L.

First time trying this place out and we ordered to go. Youll see the menu gives plenty of options, ranging from breakfast to lunch. Walking in, the first thing you'll note is the decor, bright visuals (signs and art) all around that make it whimsical. Lots of parking to go with the spacious dining area. Cashiers were attentive to who walked in. We did ask if ranch was provided in order to-go order and told it'll cost extra (.55 cents). Which was fine, but then we saw that there was already 4 ranch portion cups included in our bags, once we started eating. So....we didnt need them and could have just been told it was already in there. Minor oversight. On to the food! Its diner food and you get what you expect, something greasy and filling. I got the pastrami melt sandwich which had a nice crunch from the pickles and tangy mustard to go with the salty pastrami. The jalapeño burger was alright. Jalapeño was grilled, split in half, and place on each side. Expected it to either be crunchier or fresh...and more. The chili cheese fries serving was huge and it comes doused with cheese. Can't even see the fries til you dig in. So if you get a large one, you'll have leftovers. My favorite was the neopolitan shake that was made with real icecream and was deliciously smooth. And the small version comes with quite a lot.

BLT, hold the T! Packed with bacon and the crispy fries with the seasoned salt are everything a growing boy needs!

I've been coming here since it opened around 2007? I was surprised I had not reviewed it. Literally everything here is good. The BLTs are packed with bacon. The french fries have great seasoned salt on them. The onion rings are addictive. The taquitos have great shredded beef in them and the tortilla chips are fresh fried. The burgers are more common like you get it at a Greek hamburger stand. My friends tell me the breakfast burritos are worth driving for themselves! Another thing that sets this place apart from pretty much anywhere else is the decor and the high ceilings and the ice cream parlor. There is memorabilia all over the place: embedded into the walls, freestanding on the floor, hanging from the ceilings, and a terrific surf mural on one of the walls. It is really quite spectacular and makes this place special. Glendora is lucky to have it.

My girls dance team has come to this location after their spring competitions for years. The service has always been great and i can't think of a time the orders have ever been wrong (but i'm sure it happens) The food selection is your classic diner experience choices along with some different menu options like nacho and tacos. My whole family loves all the classic hollywood pictures throughout the inside of the diner. Needless to say, we everything about Legends!

This place has a cool chill vibe, brings you to the 50's with the decorative items! Super cool! We had eaten other items but I forgot to take photos (next time) Check this spot out fast and friendly service from the employees.

Brought my granddaughter and grandson for lunch. We love this diner. They have really good burgers. We also like their onion rings and fried mushrooms. They want to dine here again so they can some of the other menu items.

Walking through the doors of this Glendora Route 66 themed restaurant, is like walking into the 1950s! Old school jukebox, tons of 50s wall decor, vintage Coca Cola signs, with license plates and bottle caps lining the walls! If it's your first time here, try a cookie shake or coffee shake... it will not disappoint! I have a few personal favorite dishes that I've tried over my years of frequenting this establishment. If you're in the mood for breakfast, their mess burrito is great! Try the salsas or yellow peppers with it! If you are craving that typical fast food try their double cheeseburger or their avocado BLT and ask for pickled carrots! If you get fries, I always recommend upgrading them to chili fries. Now, if you are feeling like a lighter meal go for either the grilled chicken salad or the tuna salad. The chicken salad is served with dressing on the side, green peppers, tomato's, pickles, cucumbers, onions, lettuce, hot pita bread and tasty grilled chicken with melty cheese. I posted a photo below of the salad, although mine did have some modifications. The service is walk up, order, and pick a seat. You will be handed a number, and they will deliver it to your table. There are tons of spacious booths, and also tables for larger parties! If you need something like extra silverware, the front counter can get that for you. The soda is free refills for dine in... mix the Cherry Fanta with the Coca-Cola. You will thank me later. As always great food, great service... we will be back!

Haven't been here for a few years and I'm very impressed with the pricing menu , I thought perhaps the pricing was going to be inflated by a lot but it was relatively the same . The service was quick , and friendly . The ambience is the best, if you love old school music and anything 60s/70s , it's decorated with a lot of old school stuff with some great tracks playing in the background . This legends is Located on Route 66 , very fitting .

This is a classic staple to the community! Customer service is okay. I'd say be careful on drive thru, you may have to scream your order because they have too much background noise going on. The food is 4/5 for me. Lately the burgers have not been tasting a good as it was years ago. Maybe it's the seasoning or that they don't always have the meat well done and sometimes it's medium well. The fries are a bit on the stale side and there are times when they're super fresh and tasty. It can be a hit or miss. It's overall decent but I know it can be better! I love dining in and looking at all the decor! If it's your first time, definitely go inside because it's picture worthy!

But the food itself was kind of hit or miss for me. I ordered the OG breakfast with bacon, eggs, potatoes, and toast. The potatoes were pretty soft and not very crispy, and the bacon was also on the soft side with quite a bit of fat still on it. The eggs, even though they say they aren't powdered, kind of had that soft, watery texture that reminded me of powdered eggs. Nothing terrible, just not really what I was expecting for the price. A few days earlier I tried the chorizo breakfast burrito and honestly liked that better. I think everything mixed together in the burrito worked better flavor-wise and texture-wise. Service was also kind of average. The servers were friendly and did check on us, but they seemed a little overloaded and stretched thin trying to do too many things at once. On a previous visit, service was a little slow and we had to ask for coffee a few times. One small thing that oddly kind of took away from the experience was the ketchup situation. They use tiny ketchup packets instead of bottles, so if you actually want ketchup for your potatoes or eggs you end up opening a bunch of little packets just to get enough on your plate. It just felt a little strange considering they have full-size Tabasco bottles on the tables. The bigger issue for me was the value. For two people, breakfast came out to around $42 before drinks, and the portions weren't especially large. Compared to somewhere like Black Bear Diner where you can split a huge chicken fried steak breakfast and still spend significantly less even with coffee, it just didn't feel worth the price to me. I'm not saying the place is bad, some menu items are probably better than others, but based on what I ordered, I thought it was a little overpriced for food that was mostly just okay, and kinf of bland (no salt or flavor). My advice would be to choose carefully off the menu.

The coffee tastes like a clean, bitter, cold brew with a foamy top. (Important: Bring Cash. There's a 4% Cash Discount.) I arrived at Rail Side Cafe (San Dimas) on Thursday (around 12:13PM). Parking is simple but busy. There's a side lot for customers; sign says, "2 Hour Parking." Staff is courteous, no-nonsense, and diligent. Staff worked hard. Staff quickly answered all my questions. My coffee took about three minutes. Good time. As mentioned, I ordered the Nitro Cold Brew ($9 - Large - 24oz). The coffee is very standard. It tastes exactly like any imagined cold brew coffee. Personally, the roast tasted a little burnt, but it's a common, familiar coffee flavor. The strength was weak for a nitro, but the HUGE SIZE and affordability balances it all out. This is a functional, budget drink. On ambiance, Rail Side Cafe (San Dimas) is a HUGE success. There's a lot of utility. The location has a self-serve water station, public internet with no password, stacked high chairs for children, two game corners (ex: Chess, Giant Connect 4, Giant Jenga, Uno Cards, Etc), and about one available electrical outlet. I also appreciated the retro, upbeat music and 1930s movie decor. In addition, Rail Side Cafe (San Dimas) has plenty of seating. There's about four interior tables, but there's also 16 outside patio tables. The location is clean, well-maintained, and well ventilated. Overall, Rail Side Cafe (San Dimas) is a good, local neighborhood spot. It offers affordable choice that are prepared "good enough." I wouldn't drive a long distance for this spot, but it's a decent option if you're already nearby. 4.5 out of 5

If you plan on visiting, I definitely recommend taking a peek at their large menu online before you get there so you have an idea of what you want. The inside is a bit small with only a few tables and a little area to order, but the outdoor space really makes up for it. The staff was amazing in guiding my family and me toward the best food options for what we were craving. I ended up ordering the B.T.S.A. sandwich, which was a lovely combination of toasted bread, mayo, avocado, spinach, bacon, and tomato. It was a well-balanced comfort meal that really filled me up. For the side, I chose the cucumber over the fruit and sprinkled a little salt on top, making it a perfect pairing. I enjoyed the whole meal with an iced tea and really look forward to trying it again. I would love to come back on the weekend if I can manage to find a parking spot!
