The hubs and I went here with a local from the area. We both ordered "small" salads and shared an appetizer platter with lots of yummy fried goodness. The appetizer platter had mushrooms, zucchini, fries and onion rings! The SMALL salad was so big I could only eat the top! The service was good and the staff was friendly. When we were there the hubs noticed a surf board hanging from the ceiling, it said South Coast on it. That shop is from our neighborhood! Legends is a great place to grab a quick or not so quick bite to eat. My friend and I have been coming here since they've opened. Today I had the hamburger combo with an upsized beverage. Legends honor their seniors by offering a 10% discount. The burger was hot and juicy. The fries were crisp. Over by the beverage station they have a salsa bar which also includes spicy onions, banana peppers, and carrots. No matter how many times our group has been there. We find something new on the wall that we didn't notice before. For dine-in orders they give you a number that you place on your And bring your food out as soon as it's ready. Be sure to just leave your items on the table as they will bust the table for you. There are no trash cans inside. There are trash cans outside and recommend you use them so that your products don't blow away. The outdoor patio also appears to be pet friendly. Legends also has a small coffee bar and an ice cream bar where you can order shakes floats, banana and the list goes on. The only time we've ever had a problem with service is when the line goes out the door and they're taking orders as fast and as accurately as they can, the kitchen staff does a great job and the food is always fresh and hot if you haven't tried I highly . Please don't get the machaca burrito, probably the worse burrito. Tastes like cooking oil and butter. Not even half way through and my stomach was not having it. No flavor, tortilla saturated with oils. Other than that the service is always good, and the rest of the food is good. I never had a problem but never again a burrito from here. read more

Legends Classic Diner is a frequent go-to for my wife and me. Very good burgers - a single is a 1/3 pounder, burritos are huge, gyros are delicious. The ambience is like a 50s malt shop. And yes, they have malts. This isn't fast food. You order at the counter and if you're dining in, they give you a number and they'll bring the food to your table. There's shaded outdoor dining, and even a party room. And they have a drive-through. I tried it once or twice, and decided I'd rather sit on the Cadillac bench seat and wait for my carry-out order if I didn't bother to phone it in ahead. Went here with some friends and the food was "ok." You order at the counter, get a number and they bring it to your table. The party I was with ordered carne asada tacos, burger and I had the turkey club. The tacos didn't have much on them despite being asked if we wanted "everything." The burger wasn't very good. The turkey club was pretty good. The onion rings were amazing and the fried mushrooms. The ambience was cute and throw back to diner style including a jukebox. I probably wouldn't go back on my own as everything was just "OK." The price was kind of expensive was $23 for the turkey club combo (with side of onion rings instead of fries). read more

Haven't visited Legends for about 7 years so was interested to see how they are doing. Legends still has that diner feel with good food and generous portions. The deep fried mushrooms and fries are great and the burgers are good. Although the interior is getting tired, it is still a great place for diner food with room for a group! A loyal customer at this place since we've been in town, which is 19 years and from time to time they've skipped the beat but overall it's always a good product until going through the drive-through about a week ago where I had ordered an all meat and cheese burrito. I understand that when you order an all meat and cheese burrito, the portion size doesn't change, but it was like a kid size burrito and couldn't have been more than the size of a street taco. I called to complain and the manager that I spoke with that night was quite accommodating and said that she would give me the $13 credit and I could come and get a burrito again on my next visit Today with that visit. When I got to the window, the manager came over and proceeded to lecture me. She tried to explain to me and spoke to me in a condescending tone, like I mentioned previously I had been a loyal customer and even looked the other way from problems from time to time, but she made me feel as if I was trying to get over on them. And she wouldn't let off. I told her she could take that burrito and put it where the sun don't shine in so many words . I hope the owners have the opportunity to read this and if you care to discuss this further, I'd be more than willing to hear what you have to say. This woman did not know when to stop be honest with you in which quite offensive the way she was implying and wording things as if I was trying to steal from them. A classic diner is everything you can expect from this place. The food is great here and we love the menu selection. We enjoy the burgers and the different melt sandwiches. They also have chicken and fish, and even vegetarian options. It can get pretty busy during peak hours but the staff manages to get your order out to you in a decent time. The classic retro theme is a definite bonus while you enjoy the food. They also have a milkshake/ice cream bar on the side if you're looking for a cold treat. The staff is courteous and they keep the tables bussed for the customers as they leave and come in. A great place for the family to eat, and they even have a reserved area to eat in for a super large group. Been here three times so far & the food never disappoints. I'd recommend the gyro. They have a pretty large menu which also includes breakfast items. Service has been good & pretty consistent. Prices aren't cheap, but not bad either. There is plenty of seating inside & outside. Ambiance is cool. It really is a blast from the past. Very 50's ish. Customer service lacking... Common sense, I know, but be sure to check for everything you ordered while still at the drive through window. We were asked if we wanted any condiments. The ketchup was in the bag, the ranch dressing was not. Drove around and asked for the missing ranch at the front counter. Response: a simple, "we charge for ranch". When I insisted we paid for it in the drive though, he goes to the drive through window to talk to the order taker, comes back and replies, "she says she didn't charge you for ranch". This is a super cool old looking diner in Glendora. They have a jukebox that you can put a few dollars to play some super old classic songs. Wasn't too crowded at night and they have a large parking lot. In terms of food everything was quite good. I had the carne asada burrito and felt like the quality was just as good as a Mexican restaurant. Also tried out the salad with grilled chicken which was also pretty good. I like that they have a salsa bar on the side with three different types of salsa. Overall a cool place with very reasonable priced delicious food. Worth checking out the atmosphere here. I have not yet Legends in a long time until yesterday. My friends and I used to visit the Upland location every now and then, and I remembered it being tasty every time. A few of us at work were craving fries or something along those lines and one of them mentioned Legends, and there being a Glendora location... we were off on a quest! My office placed an online order for a total of 14 items and our order was ready by the time we arrived, about 20 minutes later! All neatly packaged and sauces and condiments were all neatly packed as well. For the Classic Chili Cheese Fries (lg), they did forget to add the pastrami onto the fries but they remedied it quickly and without any pushback. Every employee that we encountered was very friendly and provided great customer service. Due to the large order, an employee even helped us carry a bag to the car. The salsa bar is to the right of the door, where the soda dispenser is as well. I packed a few salsas to go, and they even provided paper bags to place them in! There is a convenience fee of $1.50 through the online ordering system. Not sure if the prices on the website are also different than in-person at the restaurant, but may want to double check if that's a deal breaker for you. There is plenty of parking. The menu is extensive and very affordable, especially with the huge portions! Great customer service and delicious tasting food! Will most definitely be back when I have another craving! read more

Asked for extra pickles on the burger , they put a wasteful amount of pickles in the chili cheese fries , I couldn't see the fries.
