Because the Yolk's on me You played your part perfectly Went to me Just a pretty dream... Nothing like Yolking around with the fam to start the day. 4/5 Food Food was good nothing that is out of this world. What surprised my wife and I was how large the kids meal was. Portions are large which is probably why this is a popular breakfast spot, maybe the mimosas as well. 3/5 Service When we arrived we put our name down and sat insids to wait. They had a lot of tables open and had people waiting (weird but okay). Once we were sat down we didnt have a server come by until a manager came by to ask us if we had been helped. He got our drinks started and had a server come by to take our order. Good thing the kids had a menu they could color and keep entertained. They must have been short staffed because it seemed like all the servers were all over the place. We were overcharged for coffees so had to have them remove one. 4/5 Parking It can get crowded and hard to find a spot. Especially during the weekends it seems to be a club atmosphere with brunch. (Dancing to put yout name on the list). Overall maybe next time we will have better service but we had a pleasant experience. Psalm 16:1, God bless

Tried something new yesterday since I wasn't super hungry, the açaí bowl, and it didn't disappoint. It went nicely with the tropical mimosa flight. The pear mimosa was my fav on the flight. My only complaint - how does a breakfast spot not carry peanut butter?! I asked for some on the side since the bowl didn't come with any, and the waitress said they don't carry peanut butter.

Broken Yolk Cafe is truly a local staple for brunch! We came on a rainy Sunday morning and were seated fairly quickly (within 10 minutes). The hostess was super kind and our server was very attentive, checking in with us often. We ended up ordering two savory dishes and one sweet dish to share: El Fuego Omelette: 5/5 The El Fuego omelette was so flavorful and there was a very nice kick of spice from the chorizo! The guacamole and pico de gallo added a refreshing twist and really elevated the dish as a whole. As for the omelette itself, it was cooked perfectly and there was a good amount of cheese, jalapeño and chorizo filling on the inside. This is honestly one of the best omelettes I have ever had, highly recommend! Classic Eggs Benedict and Chicken and Waffle Benedict: 4/5 We ended up doing the "Choose Any Two" and ending up selecting the classic eggs benedict and chicken and waffles benedict. The classic eggs benedict was delicious and was smothered in their creamy hollandaise sauce while the egg was beautifully poached to perfection. As for the chicken and waffle benedict, the taste was decent but we would not go for it again. We weren't a big fan of the hollandaise sauce and poached egg being paired with the chicken and waffle, and the waffle ended up being soggy at the bottom. However their classic eggs benedict is still a must try! Tiki Toast: 5/5 The tiki toast was so fluffy and grilled to a beautiful golden brown while the caramel drizzle on top added an additional depth of flavor! The coconut shreds on top were also not too overpowering and the berries scattered around the dish were very fresh. While the dish was already drenched with syrup the toast slices were still crispy on the outside. This dish is a perfect choice for those who have a sweet tooth! Overall, the experience here at Broken Yolk Cafe was a 5/5 on both food and service. The dishes have a fusion of different cultural foods and are very unique compared to other brunch places. The servers provide fantastic and quick service and I would 100% visit again!

We visited the Glendora location on a Tuesday at 11. We got sat in a booth in the corner and sadly did not have great service. It was very noticeable that our waitress was not tending to us or other tables in the same section. Not sure if the restaurant was short staffed, but it really affected our experience. We had to ask someone else to bring us waters because our waitress did not come back for a long time. The food took forever, we even noticed a table get their food before us even though we sat before them. Although the food was good, per usual, the experience sucked and made me question if I'd like to go back.

We were a party of two and we went in one hour before closing on a busy Saturday. There was a five minutes wait and we were seated right after that. Server was nice and knew the menu by heart and took really good care of us. Food came out quick "see pictures". Everything tasted delicious my first time here and definitely will not be my last time. I highly recommend this place for breakfast or brunch. Ambience was nice mixed crowd, but it was a full house so that's where you know they are doing something right, good job!

Love this restaurant for breakfast! Customer service is on point on all levels. Love that they have a balloon person walking around the restaurant making creative balloons for the little ones. The food is delicious and the coffee hit the spot. We also enjoyed some lemon ricotta pancakes (no picture). Wish there was a location closer to Alhambra.

Had a great experience at Broken Yolk in Glendora! The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the restaurant was very clean and tidy. Definitely a spot I'd come back to. Highly recommended!

Cali burrito great flavor, to bad it's served with cold rice and bad tasting beans!

Don't think we will be returning. I come here because we are local and I usually enjoy the open eating area and the staff are so friendly. But the food keeps going down hill. The temperatures are never hot. I don't understand because they have food servers, who just pick up and bring the food from the warmers, but our food is always just like warm to cold. This day was no different. Husband ordered the Cali burrito with the rice and beans on the side. The burrito came out hot not with house potatoes but with hash browns in it. The rice was cold and the beans tasted burnt. The waitress brought out new rice but it was still cold. She apologized and offered another side, he went with fries. I ordered the American breakfast. Corned beef has, hash browns, eggs over easy and sourdough toast. The eggs were over easy but only one had runny yolk the other was solid, hash browns were warm, but the corned beef was super hot, I tried to flag someone down for, but no one was there. I ate my 1 good egg and the perfect corned beef hash. By the time the waitress came around it was too late to really say anything about the hashbrowns. I didn't want new ones, I wanted to eat my breakfast as a whole. I didn't let her know about it, and how I could not even have my toast, which I did specify "well toasted" came out cold and rubbery, I could not even dip it into both eggs, because the 1 egg was over cooked. I mean you name on the restaurant is "6 Yolk". You guys should be able to cook your eggs perfectly. She brought me new toast, so I just had it with jam. I used to love coming here with my friends, family, and little dates with my kids, but now, it's not worth it, half the time, they don't make the hot chocolate the same, it depends which waitress you have, and now with the food never being served hot. I don't think we will be back!

Been to a few locations and it's never a disappointment.. you can order drinks and enjoy the vibe here and eat some good food one of my favorites is the French Toast & the service is always great..

We had such a great experience here! Nataly and Searrah were both exceptional--Nataly wasn't even our server, but when we mentioned we didn't enjoy our coffees, she took it upon herself to help us get fresh ones. They were absolutely delicious! Our actual server, Searrah was super quick and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed the entire time. Now for the food--the pumpkin pancakes are to die for! Just a heads-up, they're huge, so come hungry. The Impossible sausage was tasty with a little kick to it, so be prepared if you're sensitive to spice. And definitely try the hot coffees--they're a must! I'm leaving at least 10 pounds heavier, but a very happy 10 pounds heavier. Highly recommend!

Chicken Fried Steak & Eggs ($18.95)

I left Broken Yolk Cafe (Glendora) satisfied. It's not perfect; however, this location offers a comfortable ambiance, large portions, and fresh options. I enjoyed most of the Chicken-Fried Steak & Eggs ($18.95). I arrived at Broken Yolk Cafe (Glendora) on Wednesday (7:00AM - opening time). I was the first customer; about 34 minutes later, groups of customers started to arrive. My server (receipt says Seny) is hardworking, informative, and welcoming. Seny explained the menu; Seny was professional and informative; and Seny gave good recommendations. Even when Seny wasn't at my table, Seny was working nonstop in the background. However, this location felt very short staffed. When more customers arrived, I noticed how much slower everything became. I ordered the Chicken-Fried Steak & Eggs ($18.95). For its two eggs, I selected scrambled. My selected sides were the hash browns and blueberry muffin. My order arrived within 15 minutes and 12 seconds. Good pace. I absolutely adored the fresh, crisp hash browns and blueberry muffin. The hash browns were a solid, fresh quality which are uncommon nowadays in other similar breakfast joints. The blueberry muffin was also spectacular as it arrived very hot and freshly baked; it's spongey, gently sweet, and moist. Concerning the Chicken-Fried Steak, it's cooked and presented well. I loved how this chicken-fried steak had a thin, crisp crust. I also enjoyed how it's well-seasoned. Unfortunately, its creamy gravy is an acquired taste. This gravy had an unusual faint perfume/floral aftertaste, and its seasoning was very light. The chicken-fried steak is still a solid option, and the large portion is satisfying. Ironically, the eggs were the worst part of this meal. The scrambled eggs were the coldest ingredients on the plate. These eggs arrived very lukewarm and wet. The eggs were the biggest afterthought of this dish. I also had a cup of water. Unfortunately, it had that strong off-putting, tap water taste. Regarding ambiance, Broken Yolk Cafe (Glendora) is very clean, charming, and spacious. It's well-ventilated and well-decorated. There's a tremendous amount of shiny tables and chairs. Also, this location includes four visible, muted flat screen televisions showing the ESPN+ and sport networks. Curiously, only one television had english captioning subtitles. The other three TVs just had muted talking with no subtitles, so they were the least functional and useful. Thankfully, this location had soothing, upbeat music. Overall, I had a good experience at the Broken Yolk Cafe (Glendora). The Chicken-Fried Steak & Eggs ($18.95) is a decent option. I left with pleasant memories. 4.5 out of 5

    No Name Omelet with hashbrowns
    Gloria G.

The place is clean, welcoming and "Homey"! The service we received was quick and continual and the waitress was very friendly. I ordered the no name omelet without cheese so I could try it without the cheesy taste. The mushrooms were sliced and cooked to perfection, the bacon was chopped and was filled throughout the omelet, tomato, Topped with avocado and sour cream. The hash browns are cooked / fried with a touch of butter and the best I've tried.

The cream cheese ratio was perfect (not skimpy, not overloaded), and the bagel was toasted exactly how it should be - nicely crisped but not hard to chew, and definitely not soft or soggy either. I also got the Firebird sandwich, and WOW. As a savory girl, this one really hit the spot. The amount of buffalo sauce, pickles, and Dijon mustard was perfect - flavorful and bold without being overbearing. The portion size was great too. It was filling, I could easily save half for later. For drinks, I ordered their seasonal iced cherry pie latte, and I'm honestly still thinking about it. I usually don't go for sweetened coffee drinks, but my oh my... this was genuinely one of the best lattes I've ever had. Balanced, smooth, and not overly sweet. I also tried the seasonal Love Machine matcha, and it was amazing. The matcha tasted high quality -- not bitter and not grassy at all - with the perfect amount of sweetness. On top of all that, the service was immaculate, and the music/vibe inside was so good. Definitely one of those places you want to keep coming back to. She got a couple orders mixed up and had to hunt around for the correct customer. I also noticed that I got my drink before someone who was already sat down. But maybe they had got up to re-order something and I hadn't noticed. Overall, a great coffee shop in downtown Azusa!

We get their popcorns chicken all the time and I love it. Someone else in these comments described it as rubbery... I would describe it as almost bouncy, which is the reason I love it so much. It's a unique texture that I love, it's not chewy or dense. It has just the right about of breading. It's delicious, same quality every time, and they have a special ranch that is delicious to eat with it. Today I ordered the black bean dry noodle, because I was really hungry and wanted to try something new. It was delicious! I have enjoyed everything I have tried here and recommend it to everyone. Cafe Bungalow is located next to a McDonalds with plenty of seating inside. The interior is fairly open with a bunch of wooden tables. There were outlets and food/snack items, which made it no surprise as to why people would want to be here all day. Menu has a great variety with items like fresh tea (green, black, oolong) topped with cream, smoothies, milk tea, and the ever famous strawberry matcha. Prices are moderate. I opted for the oolong tea topped with cream and boba. Their boba was a bit chewy, but did not have much flavor. You couldn't really taste the oolong either as it was more of a sweet cream drink. My sister got their strawberry matcha, which was a let down. It was more of a strawberry milk drink as the "matcha" portion was just poorly mixed in and maybe a half of a teaspoon of their powder??? I just wouldn't get their matcha here. Their fries were yummy with that seasoning powder and crunchy! Good portion. Same with their popcorn chicken, but it was a bit rubbery. Overall, I wouldn't really go out of my way to come back for their drinks specifically. Looked like a cute place to try. Didn't know if it was just us, but after reading other people's reviews it seems as if their service is also lacking. The cashier helping us just wasn't very nice.

At the time, my own area had lost electricity too, so their kindness really meant a lot. A year later, in May 2026, I came back because I could not stop thinking about the guava pastry I had tried before -- and somehow it was EVEN better than I remembered. It was so good I completely forgot to take a picture before eating the whole thing I also ordered a ham sandwich on a jalapeño bagel with everything on it, and it was amazing. That one at least survived long enough for a photo! The location is tucked inside a business-looking building, so if you see the UPS sign, you're in the right spot. There's also a fingerprint scanning place in the same area. Inside is super cute and cozy with seating to hang out. It's not the most private if you want a quiet solo space, but it's perfect for meeting up with a friend for coffee or a little friend date. Highly recommend -- not just for the food, but for the kindness and community they showed when people needed it most.

There were three employees behind the counter, but it didn't feel like there was any sense of urgency. The young lady at the register had an unpleasant attitude, and instead of focusing on orders, she turned around and started chatting and flirting with a coworker. It honestly felt like they weren't prioritizing getting orders done, which made the whole experience worse. I've had much better experiences during the weekdays, especially when the older women is there service is quicker and more professional. Overall, this visit left me pretty pissed. The coffee didn't even taste the same as it usually does. I hope management looks into improving weekend staffing and customer service. To your response : I read your response, and honestly, it comes off more defensive than helpful. You can list timestamps, review footage, and explain internal processes all you want, but none of that changes the actual customer experience. We waited around 18 minutes for drinks in what looked like an empty café. If there were multiple orders ahead of us, that clearly wasn't communicated, and that's part of the problem. Trying to discredit my review by saying it's "not supported by the facts" is a bit much. My review reflects exactly what we experienced standing there. From our point of view, there was a lack of urgency, and the staff did not appear focused on getting orders out. That's not an "attack," it's an observation. Also, the tone of your response is pretty telling. Instead of acknowledging how the situation could have been handled better from a customer perspective, you chose to argue and basically suggest we're wrong. That's not a great look for a business. At the end of the day, you're focused on defending your team, and I'm focused on the experience I had and it wasn't a good one. I stand by what I said.
