Came here recommended by Bonnie. Friendly and comfortable breakfast spot--perfect for a family meal. The atmosphere was relaxed, and my kids ate well, which is always a win. The waitress was very kind and attentive, making us feel welcome. Overall, a pleasant place to grab breakfast and start the day. Also, we loved the koi fish at the entrance!

It's great place to have brunch and average person will find a delicious plate regardless of his/her taste . Omelette is the way to go here. Coffee and water were not ok. It is got that tab water after taste. As long as you stick to egg Benedict or omelette you won't be disappointed. Home fries were amazing. Service on the other was above and beyond my expectations from a ordinary place like this . They want to make sure you are satisfied with service. Parking was great a big shopping center with plenty of park place . Next to a brand new Light rail station that tobe opened in next few weeks. Overall it was decent food for reasonable price . Hangout place for senior citizens for sure . Very close to Hospital too. lol in case u stop by to visit a relative or a friend best place to sit and have a bite .

I wish I could just gate keep this place, because I liked it so much that I don't want it filling up. But it's too good to keep quiet. It doesn't look like much on the outside, but on the inside I was surprised at the size of it. The service was prompt and very friendly. They were very attentive, and answered all my questions. The food was pretty good. Better than norms, better than ihop. I recommend stopping in for a nice wholesome meal.

Came here early on a saturday morning for the first time, ordered a stuffed french toast plate.. It was okay. Figured it came with eggs just came with bacon. Should've gotten an omelette or something. Everything else was good. got pretty busy.. Our server name was Cheryl I believe was very nice. Should've listened to the server's recommendation though. But good overall.

The last couple of times, portion sizes have gotten smaller and smaller. If it is a matter of training employees to fill up the boil to what it should be, then that is advisable. If it is a matter of inflation and the restaurant is trying to remain profitable, that's understandable. But then offer different sizes of bowls at different pricing. It makes the customer feel like they are being played when you charge the same but portions are completely inconsistent.

She ordered the Tofu Bahn MI and Portobello mushroom (no cheese) sandwiches. Perfect! The manager, Matthew, delivered our food to our table, and he said that Mike made sure the focaccia bread on side for me was wrapped separate, as it was vegan, yet in kitchen with possible cross contamination. Matthew said they are very conscientious if a customer is vegan or vegetarian to be mindful of their orders. I was completely blown away! Huge shout out to Mike, and the manager Matthew for the care that is so rare! I'll definitely be back more often.

I had hoped to be organized and make a reservation, but didn't have a final number until we arrived before dinner. When I called earlier, they suggested arriving early (which we did) and I'm so glad we listened. Emily, the host, was incredibly kind and patient with our chaos. Large, fluctuating parties aren't easy, especially with a wait, but she kept us informed, comfortable, and never made us feel like a burden. She even helped us store a cake before we were seated, which meant a lot for such a special night. Our server, Taylor, was just as amazing. She fully embraced the chaos with separate checks (I know...), and she handled it seamlessly and with a great attitude the entire time. The food and drinks were great, but Emily and Taylor are truly what made the experience what it was. They helped turn what could have been a stressful, emotional evening into something really meaningful and memorable. If on a tight budget, the Good Company (Covina) is a prime location for casual drinking or hangout. It's food is not bad, but you can taste its affordability. I arrived on Saturday (around 5:40PM). Customers walk to the counter and order. Staff (Omar) is friendly and hardworking. He's seen constantly moving and interacting with guests. My orders arrived quickly. The Cheeseburger Bun was ready in 5 minutes and 36 seconds. The Matcha Berry Affogato arrived at my table in 9 minutes and 20 seconds. The food's presentation is memorable. The Cheeseburger Bun ($6) includes wagyu ground beef, melted American cheese, thinly sliced pickle, and fried thin onion slivers. Eating it with the white bun reminded me of sloppy joe in a soft taco. This very wet, mushy meal is cheesy and oily. Still, it's filling and cheesy with a very affordable price-point. The Matcha Berry Affogato ($6) is a scoop of ice cream swimming in a lake of liquid matcha. The flavors are decent but not memorable. The ice cream was chill and not overly sweet. Unfortunately, the liquid matcha arrived almost lukewarm. It would have been much more refreshing if the entire dish came cold. The presentation is eye-catching, but it lacked any real taste. Still, it's a very affordable experience. Concerning ambiance, The Good Company (Covina) performs extremely well. The location is very clean and comfortable with upbeat & fun music. There's also one flatscreen tv in the corner with closed captioning english subtitles. The location is well-ventilated, and the furniture all look very new and well-maintained. Even though the location is small, the colors and decor make it feel spacious and comfortable. Overall, The Good Company (Covina) is a good, budget hangout location. The food has an attractive appearance but its taste is unfortunately comparable to premium fast food. If heading there, bring good company and you'll definitely have a good time. 4 out of 5

About 4 TVs and they had different sporting events showing Service- this is where it started to go south. Your front of the house and those few minutes that a new customer has is crucial. Not very friendly and not really acknowledging the people that were standing waiting to be seated. Finally got a table, gave us menus and then 15 minutes go by and they haven't taken our order for drinks. As I look around there were 4 tables that had been seated, as well and no drink orders. We all waited about the same amount of time to get our drink orders. This unfortunately is why i took off 2 stars. To me, this unacceptable. After being seated and food came out, no one checked in until I needed a box and to pay. Did not feel welcomed and /or appreciated that I was supporting a small local business. Food- Brisket without the BBQ didn't have enough flavor. These types of meat don't need a hype man- the BBQ sauce. They need to be good on their own. Buuut Meat was tender. I read that their sausage is not great it's quite dry so I skipped it, my son had ordered ribs so I was going to steal from him, so I decided to get chicken- dark meat options. Chicken was very tasty, juicy and tender. It was the star of the dinner plate!!! Whaat!!! Their coleslaw- loved how everything was chopped nice and consistent- loved the Julienned green apples- again missing seasoning. DINNER ROLLS- Soooo fucken dry and not warmed up. I expect that level of hardness on my rolls when they are about to expire. Warm them up put them in a basket and give me butter. Such a small - perhaps minute action- but it was a huge miss. Other patrons were also commenting how bad the rolls were. We even joked, "death by dinner roll! " LOL. Cornbread- small portion but packed with flavor. I would say ease up on the Honey. I want to taste the corn bread too. It's unfortunate, I didn't have the experience others have had. Most likely not going to add it to my new restaurant rotation. There are other better options with better customer service.
