    Breakfast

Kaitlyn our server was excellent. Highly recommended breakfast, lunch or Brunch. The outside seating is a great option as downtown Glendora is beautiful. The food is restaurant diner quality. Great menu with lots of choices. We enjoyed the small town feel downtown Glendora offers. This restaurant fits in perfectly. We will definitely be back to enjoy more delicious food and service. Thank you

This is just a small hometown restaurant in Glendora, my second hometown. You may be curious--why "Vault"? Because the restaurant really does have a vault, or at least a vault door, embedded into the wall. This location used to be The First National and Savings Bank in 1907, and later became Bank of America in 1937. It's only a walking distance from my home. A very good small restaurant, especially for brunch outdoors, watching neighbors walk by. The service was kind and thoughtful--they even put water outside for the dogs. The food was classic, always tasted good. You don't have to drive all the way here for dinner, but it's definitely recommended if you live nearby.

I don't care what I get here it's also fantastic. Servers friendly and efficient and food comes out hot. Good service and nice vibe. Highly recommend the New Account sandwich with your choice of sides. Toasted sour dough with plenty of albacore tuna and cheese. Yum!

    Outdoor patio seating. So refreshing!

Excellent breakfast and pancakes were moist and delicious with affordable price! The service was good and they have outdoor patio seating for big groups. The owner came to greet us and was very nice to make sure we have a great time. I would recommend this place for American breakfast.

Tasty steak and eggs done to perfection. The service is great and the drinks are kept never ending. The ambiance is cozy and very family oriented. I recommend.

Always a nice classic meal with prices that are not through the roof like others. Tried the breakfast burger that was a good portion and tasted great. I like that they still have outdoor dining where the parking spots were. Great friendly service will definitely try to come here more often

Katie was our server and Carlos helped great crew excellent customer service. The Ambiance was amazing and the food was delicious we plan to visit more often. Though it's a good drive from us we love this place. Straight out of a Hallmark movie.

Service here is average. I'm not sure if it was my server specifically since the manager asked how my day was going before I was seated. She didn't have an attitude but was more dismissive or indifferent. Maybe I came on a bad day. My hashbrowns were cold, and my omelette was lukewarm. I didn't have time to have it sent back or warmed up since I had an appointment that morning in the area. It was a busy morning, so I imagine staff was swamped. The ambiance in this area of Glendora is really endearing and welcoming. This was probably an off day, and I'd like to come back to see if I can amend this review. As far as first impressions are concerned though, this was substandard. The other reviews are probably more indicative of a more common experience.

With all these new places popping up, the Village Vault is a downtown Glendora staple that has been serving generations. I know, I've been coming here since I was a kid. They offer many of the classic favorites. What brings me back all these years are their Chicken Crepes that were only served on Sundays. Recently they have been removing from the menu. Apparently me and two others ordered them. But if you ask, the just might make them for you. They are delicate and remind me of the Magic Pan. #IYKYK. This place is probably more known for their waffles, eggs Benedict, fritters or roast beef sandwiches. If l can't get the chicken crepes, the breakfast crepes are delicious. In a town full of pop-ups, go to the Village Vault.

I had hoped to be organized and make a reservation, but didn't have a final number until we arrived before dinner. Large, fluctuating parties aren't easy, especially with a wait, but she kept us informed, comfortable, and never made us feel like a burden. She even helped us store a cake before we were seated, which meant a lot for such a special night. Our server, Taylor, was just as amazing. She fully embraced the chaos with separate checks (I know...), and she handled it seamlessly and with a great attitude the entire time. The food and drinks were great, but Emily and Taylor are truly what made the experience what it was. We both ended up taking about 1/2 our dinners home as leftovers. I'm glad we remembered Frisella's. We will be going back soon.

If on a tight budget, the Good Company (Covina) is a prime location for casual drinking or hangout. It's food is not bad, but you can taste its affordability. I arrived on Saturday (around 5:40PM). Customers walk to the counter and order. Staff (Omar) is friendly and hardworking. He's seen constantly moving and interacting with guests. My orders arrived quickly. The Cheeseburger Bun was ready in 5 minutes and 36 seconds. The Matcha Berry Affogato arrived at my table in 9 minutes and 20 seconds. The food's presentation is memorable. The Cheeseburger Bun ($6) includes wagyu ground beef, melted American cheese, thinly sliced pickle, and fried thin onion slivers. Eating it with the white bun reminded me of sloppy joe in a soft taco. This very wet, mushy meal is cheesy and oily. Still, it's filling and cheesy with a very affordable price-point. The Matcha Berry Affogato ($6) is a scoop of ice cream swimming in a lake of liquid matcha. The flavors are decent but not memorable. The ice cream was chill and not overly sweet. Unfortunately, the liquid matcha arrived almost lukewarm. It would have been much more refreshing if the entire dish came cold. The presentation is eye-catching, but it lacked any real taste. Still, it's a very affordable experience. Concerning ambiance, The Good Company (Covina) performs extremely well. The location is very clean and comfortable with upbeat & fun music. There's also one flatscreen tv in the corner with closed captioning english subtitles. The location is well-ventilated, and the furniture all look very new and well-maintained. Even though the location is small, the colors and decor make it feel spacious and comfortable. Overall, The Good Company (Covina) is a good, budget hangout location. The food has an attractive appearance but its taste is unfortunately comparable to premium fast food. If heading there, bring good company and you'll definitely have a good time. 4 out of 5

We all waited about the same amount of time to get our drink orders. This unfortunately is why i took off 2 stars. To me, this unacceptable. After being seated and food came out, no one checked in until I needed a box and to pay. Did not feel welcomed and /or appreciated that I was supporting a small local business. Food- Brisket without the BBQ didn't have enough flavor. These types of meat don't need a hype man- the BBQ sauce. They need to be good on their own. Buuut Meat was tender. I've come here several times over the past couple years and it's more and more dead at the restaurant every time. The waitresses are absolutely dreadful. Every request is forgotten or takes 20 mins to arrive at the table. When we arrived we waited 20 mins for a waitress. We asked for some sauce, they forgot. We ordered a pizza, which was delivered to the wrong table. When we wanted to leave, the check took 20 mins as well. Now I have a crying baby and I'm waiting for them to try and split the check two ways and I eventually give up knowing that the task is too much for them to handle and just pay it all on one card. We had to track down the waitresses multiple times. It's like they have NO ability to anticipate the needs of their customers. "They ordered, pizza, maybe I should bring some plates". Nope! "They'll probably want their sauce before the food item is ICE COLD". Nope! Anytime we went into the restaurant the girls were on their phones. There were five tables in the restaurant tonight so there really was no excuse. I think this will be the last time I ever go to this restaurant. Unfortunately, the reputation of the old Congregation Ale House kept me coming back even when time after time, the service was abysmal, however, now that Congregation's former glory is thoroughly tarnished I can honestly say that I will not be coming back and I encourage everyone else to do the same. Quality like this cannot be tolerated. Travis, the former owner, would be ashamed of this fall from grace. R.I.P. Congregation Ale House
