Delicious burger spot in the West Covina area!! Can't believe I haven't tried this place sooner. My husband and I both ordered the smashburger, I built my own but he ordered the one that was on the menu. The meat was cooked perfectly and they have a bunch of sauce to choose from. Knocking off one star because the fries tasted like they were cooked in old oil.. it was a bit bitter. Our waitress was really nice and checked up on us and gave good recommendations. The inside has a bar area and they also have outdoor seating. Definitely recommend if you're craving burgers!
Hit the road again in my journey for a good-ass burger and ended up in West Covina. Bun Street is well-reviewed and has a big following, so this wasn't a hard choice, although there is a small Hawaiian spot right near it that I'll have to try. Almost made it a Hawaiian day, but next time. So yeah, it's in a large strip mall with lots of parking. Inside is very spacious and lively, as advertised. Lots of mounted flat screens and plenty of neon signage to remind you that they also serve cold brews here. Definitely a happening spot for Dodgers games for sure. Menu is extensive with lots of options for burgers and sides. Took the recommendation from my awesome server and ordered the following: - Stinkin' Bun Burger - 9/10: yo, this was incredible. Brioche bun was perfectly crisped, patty was thick and full of flavor. Loved the garlic cheese spread. Just brought it to another level. Well-balanced and not too garlicky. Just delicious. Pro tip: Mon-Fri are their lunch specials. So you can get a side and a drink with your burger of choice at a reduced price. Otherwise, everything is a la carte. So yes, a good time was had by all!
We've been here several times since my initial review and have always gotten a good meal and friendly service. The burgers are big, tasty, and can be messy, so prepare to use some napkins, or in my case, stains on my shirts! Salads are fresh and filling. The sides (fries, tator tots, etc.) are also very large portions. All food is made with fresh ingredients and super tasty. They're usually busy and there can be a wait, but it's well worth it. I believe that they're one of the best burger and beer joints around. I highly recommend you check them out soon.

Busy Sunday afternoon. Staff were friendly. Food was good except for a couple of the mini corn dogs, they were over fried. Thankfully the staff helped us out with those. The stinkin burger and Mac & cheese burgers were really good. The space is cool and casual, loads of TV screens with sports on.
After Hungry4Munchies featured this place, and since I was in the area I figured I would give it a try with my mom. Service was amazing. Everyone went above and beyond not only for us, but from what I saw for everyone there. Everything we got was also amazing. I am craving their Onion rings (the addition of the sauce was great on them) and the burgers were so amazing, I usually eat fries first but I couldn't resist the burger this time. Definitely my new burger spot
My family and I have been here a few times and they never disappoint. The host/hostess and waiters/waitress are always friendly and attentive. The place is decent sized, counter and bench tables available. It's a chill place to catch up with friends and watch a sports game. The burgers are always juicy and flavorful. They have a happy hour menu that's pretty good. We love coming here and always look forward to coming back. I recommend.

Went here for a late lunch after watching a movie across the way. Ordered carne asada fries and a berry lemonade. It was a good portion size for 1 person , and my sweet waitress was very attentive and made sure to check on me to see throughout my stay. Always a cute neighborhood spot to come in for creative , delicious food!
First time trying the place and wanted to eat something at a dot down restaurant after the Halloween festival. The place was crowded but there wasn't a wait at the time we came in. The staff seemed pretty busy and we noticed many tables were full of people who came for the dodger game which was live on tv. We were seated pretty quickly but the staff was a little confused at first and kind of asked each other to confirm things so we weren't sure if it was ok or not too. We sat in a small table and the seating was not individual seats, so we had to be careful sitting with someone who wants more leg room. We ordered carne asada fries, cheesesteak fries, onion rings, kids meal sliders, stinkin bun burger, and West Covina burger. I didn't really want to be adventurous and try the PB and J burger but i know someone would like to try.... The cheesesteak fries were the best and favorite, the carne asada fries were actually too salty. The onion rings were super crispy and the ranch goes well with them, but the teriyaki sauce was way too salty. The burgers are standalone, they were pretty big and had generous toppings. The stinkin burger had garlic cheese sauce but the garlic wasn't too strong which is good and it was a bit messy to eat because the onion rings slipped out while eating it. I enjoyed the West Covina burger and it was a regular burger with everything so it was a great comparison to the unique ones. Sliders were good, simple but the meat was slightly more burnt and charred so a bit dry. Overall, pretty good place to enjoy a bar ambiance and burgers to try unusual combinations.
Got real lucky with a table for 5, The city of West Covina is throwing a large event that takes up the whole street. We snuck in before the line built up. It's quite loud and crowded, multiple TVs. Seems like a really nice place to drink especially worth the large menu of dirty fries. -West Covina burger Classic American burgers, I got everything on it. The red onion slices were a bit thick. -Stinking burger Basically the same as the West Covina burger but the garlic sauce. The garlic wasn't overwhelming, it's just right. -Cheese steak fries Lives up to its name really cheesy. Maybe a bit more steak. -Carne asada fries Also needs more meat. -Onion rings Not enough rings. The service was great, The kid spilled his drink (you know how kids do) Instead of the wad of barely enough napkins. She gave us a couple bar towels and said "leave it on the floor when your done I'll get it later"
Always a great lunch.. quick and great service.. clean, great ambiance... Teri'avo Berger w/sweet potato fries never fails.. A++

I came specify for the Teri avo burger and it did not disappoint!!!! Sooooo good, I've been craving this type of burger for a while, the tots were also excellent. Waitress and staff were friendly, definitely seems like a spot with a lot of regulars, plenty of TVs to watch whatever game you'd like. Kinda wanna try their other burgers too but that Teri avo is so good I don't know I could go and not get it read more

Came back after a long time bc I suddenly remembered I used to love their garlic cheese, but it wasn't the same anymore :( could barely taste the garlic cheese and there was so little of it, it was almost nonexistent! For ~$15 I don't feel it's worth it anymore, if I wanted a hamburger, I would have gone to in-n-out instead. The asada tater tots were a 10/10 though! read more

I have been here a few times and the food is good, and the atmosphere is nice. Small bar that has a cool atmosphere. Their fries/tater tots come in big servings, definitely enough for two people to share! Service tends to be helpful and there are no long wait times in my experience. read more

Was in the area and stopped by for a quick bite. We were greeted upon entering and could sit wherever. The service was friendly and very efficient, and they took our order from our table. We got the parmesan garlic herb fries, homemade mac and cheese, and a burger each (both the stinkin' bun burger). The food was pretty good, nothing memorable but it was a good hearty, greasy meal. The fries were crispy. The burger was heavy and had a good garlicky flavor. The Mac and cheese was good as well, a step up from fast food Mac and cheese. Ranch is available on the side and it's the good kind! The ambiance is homey and chill. It wasn't that busy when we went on a Tuesday evening. My BF brought food from Bun Street for lunch. He ordered their California Burger, which had the perfectly fried egg on top (burgers are always so good with a fried egg on top), crispy beer battered onion rings, nacho style tots, and chicken salad. The salad was fresh with an added pickled onions that I appreciated. The tots were good but did get a little soggy in transport. My BF said that they had an excellent staff, which we appreciate. With plenty of parking and a quick drive to the movie theater and mall, Bun Street is definitely worth a visit! We went for lunch, and while it was very loud and busy, we were able to get seated immediately. I got the stinkin' bun burger and the garlic cheese was delicious! However, I honestly thought this burger could've used more garlic. I'm a garlic fiend, and while this burger was good, I didn't think the garlic flavor was prominent enough. I'd definitely get it again though, maybe with a smash patty instead of a regular patty! read more

There's plenty of street parking nearby. The inside is chill and has plenty of seating. It's a good place for a meal with friends. The staff are really friendly and helpful! The food arrived at a good pace. I liked that we got the fries first as like an appetizer. The fries are hot fresh! They're light and crispy. I got the smash burger. It was just the right portion and tasty. It also has my favorite type of pickles where it wasn't overpowering in flavor but good texture. Came here for lunch to check out their happy hour, and it did not disappoint! The service was excellent I seated immediately, and got a table right in front of the TV, which made it perfect for watching the Dodgers game while I ate. They have a great variety of burgers to choose from. I ordered the California Burger, and it was absolutely delicious. Also ordered their famous onion rings during happy hour, and they definitely lived up to the hype. Crispy, flavorful, and the sauces paired perfectly with them. The atmosphere was awesome, with a fun and welcoming vibe. It's a great place to bring your family or friends, grab some great food and drinks, and catch a ball game. Stopped in after seeing an influencer try this place. This might have been an off night for a Friday. I'm not sure if they were short on staff in the kitchen or just somewhat disorganized with the orders. We were seated within five minutes and noticed that the restaurant was busy - that's promising. We ordered our food and I chose to do a build your own burger. There were other ingredients in the burger that I didn't add like the bacon or pickles on the side and it was missing the bbq sauce and didn't notice the bun sauce. I thought the burger was what I ordered since I added the fried egg which I saw immediately. I don't think the egg really added anything to the taste. No yolk break at all when eaten. The burger patty itself is good since it tastes fresh like it was homemade. The onion rings had a thick batter and really thin onion. This was more batter than onion. Would probably pass on this and try the tater tots instead. The service was slow or not organized that night again not sure since this was our first visit. A couple that was seated AFTER us got their food and finished BEFORE we even got our order, and we ordered at the same time. The servers were nice though. From my order not being right and the slow service, it'll be awhile before I return. read more

Stopped by with my brother. I ordered the stinking burger with poutine fries. Also ordered mac n cheese as appetizer. Brother ordered the western burger with bun Street fries. Western burger is a take on western bacon cheeseburger from Carl's. My brother enjoyed as well as the bun Street fries that is fries with bun Street sauce( thousand island dressing), green onions, grilled onions, and bacon. He liked it but when I tasted it didn't care to much for them. Mac n cheese was fantastic, lbeey creamy and cheese. My stinking burger had garlic cheese, grilled onions, onion rings, garlic aoili and lettuce. Burger was a little overcooked but was decent. Poutine fries was made with duck confit, gravy, green onions and mozzarella cheese. I asked for tots instead of fries. To me seem to be missing enough gravy and didn't taste any cheese. So not the beat poutine I've had but a different take with duck confit. Service ice was great. Small place but does have lots of seating, which are benches. Place has pictures of their burgers on the wall and also Dodger pictures. read more

My wife and I were passing through West Covina a few weeks back when we passed by a place called Bun Street, so we pulled right in! This place is all about burgers, fries, and tater tots and since that's basically all we think about, it seemed like Bun Street was going to be the place for us. After staring at the menu and struggling to decide, we ended up just splitting an order of onion rings, an order of Buffalo Chicken fries (which is half french fries and half tater tots), as well as a "Stinkin' Bun Burger" which is a burger with onion rings, garlic cheese, grilled onions, lettuce, and garlic aioli. Onion Rings- These things were large, well battered, and covered in a tasty sauce. Buffalo Chicken Fries- This plate was absolutely massive and stacked to the brim with french fries, tater tots, and chicken. Every single thing on this plate tasted so good! Stinkin Bun Burger- I was a big fan of this burger even though I regret getitng one with onion rings on it. My wife and I split this in half and enjoyed it very much. Overall, Bun Street was a homerun of an experience and definitely a reason to visit West Covina. Not sure I'll be out this way anytime soon, but if I am this place is definitely the lunch spot for me! read more
