One of my favorite true ice cream shops, which is still here after all these years. Anytime you enter this business, you will ALWAYS be greeted with a "Hi" or "Welcome" by the young employees. Service here is excellent, as the employees strive to assist each customer promptly. The variety of ice cream sold here offers customers a good mix of delicious flavors. Prices are on the higher end, yet very affordable The shop itself is always kept clean and well-organized. I will remain a loyal customer because I always receive excellent service and because they offer one of my favorite ice cream flavors, no-sugar-added coconut/pineapple. read more

I didn't realize Baskin-Robbins started selling lukewarm milkshakes in a cup and calling them 'scoops.' When I pointed out that my Chocolate Chip was totally melted, I was told they wouldn't exchange it because I had already tasted it. Apparently, I was supposed to use telepathy to check the temperature. Save your money and go to a place that understands the 'ice' part of ice cream. read more

Always enjoyed this shop while growing up in the neighborhood. It was nice to see it was still there on the corner. The young ladies were very welcoming said hi and asked if we'd like a sample. The shop was very clean the tables were all clean. The ice parlor was very inviting. We order two Sundaes and we're Not disappointed. Stop by and have a sweet treat. There are ice cream cakes and cupcakes to choose from. read more

Most of the people who work here don't give very big scoops of ice cream or act friendly, but there was one girl who was so awesome that I felt I should leave a 5 star review specifically for her. It was Monday, March 10th at 2:00pm. I unfortunately didn't see her name tag, but she had long brownish reddish (cinnamon colored hair) in a ponytail and no glasses. She was somewhere around 18-20. Hoping that narrows it down lol. She was so sweet! I came in for my free birthday scoop of ice cream. She was warm and welcoming. She didn't make my scoop really small like other employees have. It was a nice normal size. I felt bad that I didn't have cash to tip her with, so I'm hoping I can make up for that by giving her a shoutout. She's the nicest employee I've seen at this location in years! Keep her and give her more shifts! read more

Came in last night for the first time. After living here for three and a half years I finally dropped in. Located across from the Covina post office sits the little cute BR. Super clean and updated location. Employees greeted us as we walked in and saw we walked over to the cake case and asked if we needed any help. My 2nd glance over is when I saw what I was looking for.. the Polar pizza my bf wanted as a kid and never got. A short convo the other day led us to this when I mentioned they still made them. $21.99 plus tax. Super cool experience as you eat it like a slice of pizza. Spacious parking out back and on the front and back side of the building. Super clean location. Friendly staff. Seats to enjoy your sweet treats inside. We absolutely love the cakes from this Baskin Robbins! While I haven't gone in to order ice cream, we regularly get birthday and celebration cakes from this store, and they never disappoint. The decorating is always amazing--they do such a fantastic job! Every single time, the cake is not only delicious but also beautifully designed. I don't think we've ever had leftovers, and we never finish eating the cake without everyone talking about how stunning it looks. Huge props to whoever is decorating these cakes for our orders--they truly make each celebration extra special! read more

So disappointed in this location on college street ,Covina I had placed a Father's Day cake order in a week advanced. Adding a decal that they were advertising on their counter for over a month. It was a soccer logo that my husband passionate about this particular Team. It cost extra to have. On Father's Day afternoon when I arrive for pick up it was decorated with the wrong logo ,it was a Hockey Team which we're a big soccer family. I told the girl at the counter I couldn't accept it. My hand written receipts says what I order and what was handed to me was clearly wrong. I asked can you call your manager or owner and asked what can they do to correct this ,they mention the cake decorated wasn't in to fix it so then the girl called the owner ,she came back and said: "Our owner said just to give you a cake from the freezer" I was so disappointed I couldn't wait to pick up the cake and surprise my husband with his favorite Team. The way they handled it was bad customer service . I called the following day spoke with their store manager and the owner told her to just give me a pint of ice cream ,Wow !!! Terrible way to solve a issue that the cake decorated made. I will take my business to a different ice cream location. I've been coming here for years,shame on the owner. read more

Came in to buy two flavors of prepacked ice cream. One was in freezer one had to be packed by girl behind counter. I wanted baseball nut she said it would be extra I said fine. Come home to find no raspberry in it at all. Tasted like vanilla with cashews so disappointing being I paid extra for something I did t get. Will not be returning!!! read more

I purchased a three scoop sundae last night, October 11, 2024 and for some odd reason the girl that helped me was rude. I was not rude to her, all I said and ask for was the two flavors of ice cream I selected for my sundae. Nonetheless, after she added all three scoops to the cup she brought the cup to the counter without adding the toppings. Well, that is when I asked her for the toppings. She gave me a rude look and asked what I wanted. I asked her for almonds. She added the almonds and did not offer me anything else like the other girls usually do. No chocolate or strawberry syrup. At that point I was upset because there was no reason for this treatment. But I decided to pay and leave. Well, that is when I saw the price was more expensive than what is advertised on the menu. I asked her why is it more expensive than what is on the menu. She said because I asked for almonds. I then said to her that is included with the sundae and I have never been charged extra. She just looked at me and said, those other girls should have charged you and walked away with an attitude. Thus, not only was this girl rude but she over charged me. read more

I like that there is Baskin Robbins not far from me and not located inside a mall. This location is a little bit different because it shares space with donut shop. Both employees are nice and greet with smile. I know chocolate chip is not some exotic flavor but I like it and makes me feel happy. read more

I can't stand establishments like this continuing to give subpar services while charging full/increased pricing. It's ridiculous! I purchased a cappuccino blast today and was charged full price for it. However, when I received my order, I noticed that my cup was not filled to the top, which was quite disappointing. This lack of attention to detail and poor customer service is unacceptable, and it has left me feeling quite dissatisfied with my experience at your store. I expected better from a company like Baskin Robbins and am disappointed that I did not receive the quality of service that I deserve as a paying customer. Cashier called the manager and he didn't want to give me the free kids scoop without downloading the app ... told him I'm not doing that so he ended up honoring my coupon. The ice cream and ice cream cakes are amazing (that's why I gave it at least one star). But it's not like the employees are making ice cream from scratch in store right? They are there to provide excellent customer service, but even that is too below them. We came here because we ordered an ice cream birthday cake for pick up at 3pm (we put in the order two days prior). We drove about 5 miles and arrived at 3:10 to face disappointment. They said, "No, actually it will be ready at 4pm", insisted my colleague misheard the pickup time and did not even apologize for the miscommunication. They even asked us "Do you still want the cake?", as if they were hoping we could relieve this "burden" off them. OF COURSE we want the cake. What were we supposed to do until then? My colleague and I had to wander around the streets in the hot sun and check out some stores for about half an hour before we came back. What a waste of company time! In addition, my colleague had called a few times earlier the same day to confirm the pickup time, but she told me that every time she tried to call, the employees would pick up and set the phone down, and my colleague could hear them working but no one would answer the phone. When my colleague brought this up to the girl at the counter, all she did was shrug and say "I don't know. We've been here all day". Very unprofessional; I even noticed that she rolled her eyes at my colleague when she expressed her disappointment in the new pickup time. The cake (see picture below) was so plain and we had to ASK for sprinkles. The girl hesitated by saying, "Oh, since we just made it, I'm not too sure it will stick.." but in my mind, I was thinking, DUH the cake will melt so it WILL eventually stick! Good luck getting a better job with that attitude!!! I feared that they would spit in our cake. But $42 for an ice cream cake served by bitter employees? We're not coming back here again. read more

I have been coming to this location for almost 20 years now they are giving small ice cream scoops. I was told by an employee there that they are not allowed to fill the cups up anymore and have to make the scoops only 4 oz. The spoon they use has no measurement so my two scoops looks like one scoop. I will not return to this location anymore. read more

Doesn't seem like the franchise owner has given any TLC to this location for some time now. I'm not sure how much overturn there is here because I always see new faces. I used to come once a week, would always get the same thing. A mango blast freeze with no yogurt no whip cream. It's very delicious but I'm telling you every time I've been here they never get the measurements wrong. The young lady to work here have absolutely no personality, they aren't friendly or courteous. Rather they talk amongst themselves about their weekend Rendezvous and sometimes I've seen them on their personal phones. I stopped coming to this location. I've gotten 2 cakes from this place and the first was cool but this second was just a mess. First the girl tells me to get the cake and I get and she takes the next person and has be me waiting there. Mind u when I walked in I told her I needed a birthday cake. So she finishes with other guy then charges me and I'm waiting for her to take the cake to write happy birthday on it because wut the hell do I need a blank bday cake for. I went here specially for a coffee drink. The Cappuccino Blast was recommended, so I ordered a small not knowing if I was going to like it. The drink is made with some coffee liquid looking mix, ice, and coffee ice cream called jamoca. It is topped with whip cream and cinnamon. The drink was tasty pretty thick but not too thick. Wow! One day I purchased gift cards for my students for $4. I bought 8 gift cards. I was going to come back for more and they refused to let me buy them because the minimum is now $5. The absolute worst service! I asked for Jamocha Almond Fudge with pineapple on top and the girl actually said "no that sounds weird, I'm not doing that". She did NOT give me the pineapple on top after I asked a few more times. She also dropped the the spoon on the floor and was tried handing it me to take home. I asked for a new spoon and she got extremely annoyed by this! Workers should have name tags so I can properly report her to corporate, this is absolutely not okay. read more

I've never had a problem at this location, but I've also never ordered cakes. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. I usually just order a basic single scoop with a cone. Sometimes the portions are generous. I've never had issues with the ice cream being melted. There's plenty of parking on the street or the parking garage about a 1/2 block down. read more

I ordered a cake for my husband's bday and the lady spelled Birtthday and thought it was gonna be ok ,I called and spoke with management and they said I can either get 2 scoops of ice cream or a little cake that are 18.99,I didn't want to go even go bk bt I needed a cake and thought I'd get a pre-made and not get any writting.I reminded the same lady that messed my cake up by showing her the messages between her and I and she said Oh its to late I can't ,well let me call my manager and supposedly all I can give u is 5$ off when in the text messages it says 18.99 or 2 comes with 2 scoops....Never again will I go bk even for pre-made ,just the fact that she thought it was cool that she spelled incorrectly and then didn't do what was said in the texts,ill make sure to tell my peeps not to give this place any service..Sorry ass management and owner read more

Ugh!! Bad experience here at this location. So me & my daughter seen the " creature cups" ad on their window so we decided to try it. Ok we walked & waited in line, 3 guests ahead of us. When we were asked what we'd like to order, I asked for the creature cups & the server said oh im so sorry were completely out. Gee maybe a lil paper sign written on computer posted on door or somewhere in store wouldve been nice to see before we wAited in the line just to be told were sold out‍ ugh so annoying!! I think they purposely dont post it so you'll end up buying something else in their store so inconsiderate of them. For some reason im always so dissatisfied with their service!!!!!! read more

I arrived at Il Gusto (West Covina) on Monday (around 7:29pm). This location shares the busy parking plaza by 85 Degrees (West Covina). Fortunately, it was easy to find parking this evening. Staff is professional and helpful. Staff worked quickly, and staff answered all my questions. Line went very fast despite a group being ahead of me. As mentioned, I ordered the Medium Cup (2 Scoops - $8). I selected a milk chocolate scoop and a cookies-flavored scoop. Portion sizes are fair and adequate for its quality. The flavors are delicious. The milk chocolate scoop reminded me of rich, dark chocolate milk. Its consistency felt very velvety, and its strong chocolate flavor almost teetered towards chocolate brownie territory. The cookie-flavored scoop was very tasty as well. This scoop flowed smoothly, and I happily enjoyed the soft cookie chunks within. This had a milder taste, but it felt very satisfying. This gelato was not icy; rather, it had delightful flavors while flowing like chilled silk. Concerning ambiance, Il Gusto (West Covina) shows genuine effort. The location is very clean and well-ventilated (refreshingly chill). I also enjoyed the Elvis Presley music. However, the music was occasionally drowned out from the loud electronic buzzing/humming sounds from the kitchen's containers. Also, some portions of the walls and floors looked scuffed with black marks. Il Gusto (West Covina) is also fairly small. It has three reflective tables inside; customer-only restroom; and three nearby shaded tables outside. Overall, I had a pleasant experience at Il Gusto (West Covina). Its prices are adequate, the gelato is a good quality, and the staff is hardworking & helpful. If nearby, I recommend. 4.6 out of 5

First, they don't have just churros, they have ice cream, milkshakes and specialty coffees such as café de olla, Americano, cortado, and flat white to name a few. Churros can be ordered as a box set or individually with various topping choices. The churros were made fresh! They came out warm and crispy with that soft center. We also got 2 milkshakes, one Strawberry Scream and one Peanut Butter Mother Flutter, both tasted amazing!! The ambiance gives you a cafe feel with several people opting to eat their treats in house. The place smells amazing so it's easy to want to stay. As for the service, it was also amazing! Everyone was friendly and willing to assist you and answer questions. The cashier explained that she was going to make the churros fresh so there would be a short wait for them to be ready. Ironically, Churro Boss (Covina) offers better quality ice cream than churros. I arrived at Churro Boss (Covina) on Sunday (around 2:35PM). Staff is very welcoming and attentive. Staff speaks English and Spanish. Staff answered all my questions. I ordered the Churro Sundae ($10). This dessert includes one scoop of ice cream and two six inch churros. I selected the Chocolate Malted Crunch ice cream scoop. The entire dessert was ready in eight minutes and 16 seconds. The dessert arrived picturesque. The Churro Sundae ($10) is attractive and fairly large; however, its taste is underwhelming. Although it felt like the churros were made-to-order in the backroom, the churros tasted bitter, chewy, and overcooked. These churros also lacked sweetness. Rather, these big churros tasted like chunky breadcrumbs. Fortunately, the Chocolate Malted Crunch ice cream scoop tasted delicious! It had an addictive crumbly texture. The ice cream also carried a chill and creamy chocolate flavor. Regarding ambiance, Churro Boss (Covina) is lackluster. It feels empty. The only seating is one long counter which had splotchy dried stains and crumbs. The location also has no restroom. Customers need to use their bottle of hand sanitizer or napkins if searching to clean their hands. There's two electric wall sockets in the far corner. And steady country music played in the background. Churro Boss (Covina) tries to be be modern and minimalistic. Overall, Churro Boss (Covina) offers tasty ice cream and pleasant service. Unfortunately, its churros are overpriced and somewhat unpleasant. If searching for some tasty ice cream, this location holds potential. 3.5 out of 5

And the cinnamon flavor in the graham cracker was such a great touch to everything. Also even though the S'mores Flight s'mores were smaller in size than the regular S'mores, I think they were still pretty filling when eating just one. Parking can be a little tough though!

The difference is probably they have less variety of food now, just mochi and cakes. Flora Bakery & Tea has been in business for almost a year. The quality of mochi is still great, size is still big and cost is still kind of pricey. You get 3 for $20. The exterior & interior design of this store is pretty with flowers and cherry blossoms ( like a garden ) feeling. It has an area where you can sit outside or inside to chitchat and eat your dessert. They have many kind of options. Different cartoon and different stuffings in there for example, strawberry, green apple, peach, Oreo, mango. Each one has a very good taste to it. Highly recommended for dessert place and there isn't many if any of these kind if store around in LA / Orange county.
