She was very helpful on recommending on what drinks to order and even told me about their secret menu item. I ordered their honey dew tea that was in their secret menu while my bf ordered the honey lemon black tea. The honey dew tea was something I never had before because the tea had a honey dew taste to it that was natural and not artificial. It was such a refreshing and unique drink that I would order again. My bf's honey lemon black tea was good as well. I also ordered their Vietnamese coffee to save for the next day and boy it was so bomb. The chia seed pudding is also a nice treat to grab as well. I look forward to seeing the interior with more decorations, plants would be a great addition near the front as there's a lot of indirect sunlight that low-mid light plants would be happy in. Staff is great and informative. the only thing preventing me from a full 5 star is the usage of generative A.I. imagery on the menu's design from when I last visited. It's mixed with the artwork on the wall, so it's very tone deaf to have actual art share the same space with generative images. Clip art would have been drastically better, more environmentally friendly, and not scrape images from real artists to steal their artwork for whichever program was used for the menu design. read more

We stopped by Chibi Brews while waiting for dinner at the pizza place a few doors down, and it ended up being such a fun find for my family! The employee (possibly the owner) was incredibly friendly and took the time to tell us about their secret menu. She suggested the mango strawberry slushie, and it was SO good. I was worried it would be overly sweet, but it had the perfect balance of flavor and sweetness. She also gave my daughter stickers with their character mascot, and they are seriously adorable! Even the drink tops are super cute and come in different fun designs, which made the whole experience feel extra special. I wish I would have taken pictures! I ordered the Strawberry Matcha Milk Tea ($6.25 - Large - 24oz) with Brown Sugar Boba (additional 75 cents). If McDonalds attempted to make boba, it would match your imagination. The drink is very sweet, one-note with gummy, doughy boba. I arrived on Sunday (around 3:30). Parking is very easy. The lot is big. Staff is cordial. Staff went through the motions, but Staff reminded me of hopeful volunteers. Staff started to ask questions when they noticed I was photographing the menus, and Staff quickly said they were "just starting" when I mentioned the unusual, gummy boba. As mentioned, I ordered the Strawberry Matcha Milk Tea ($6.25 - Large - 24oz) with Brown Sugar Boba (additional 75 cents). Again, the drink is not bad. It's refreshing. The matcha is earthy and clean. I also enjoyed the aftertaste of strawberries. However, it all screamed frugal. The drink was stuffed with big chunks of ice. The drink had that canned syrup flavor. And the boba tasted like something from a discount bin. It's not bad, but it's not great. On the ambiance, Chibi Brews (La Verne) has utility. There's customer internet with password; customers must ask staff for information. I also counted seven electrical outlets. Wow! The location is also clean. There's a gender neutral restroom in the back, and there's a unique game corner with toys (ex: ball on a string, metal ball game, cards, etc). However, Chibi Brews (La Verne) is also very plain looking. There's a few pictures connected to anime, but the decor is nonexistent. Its interior resembles a tiny mall food court combined with a budget donut shop. It's extremely unmemorable. Overall, Chibi Brews (La Verne) is a not bad experience. It's not awful. If curious, it's not a bad option. Hopefully it improves in the future. 3.4 out of 5 read more

Friendly service! It showcases creative artwork on the walls. There are a few games laid out in case you and the family want to chill out and hang out. The real test? The boba drinks were amazing! You can taste fresh premium ingredients, just the right amount of chew in their boba, and the perfect balance of sweetness. My family and I tried their matcha drink, passion fruit & mango, and classic boba milk tea- all fantastic with a fragrant after taste! So glad I found this boba brewery!
