Love the e creme brûlée topping! Sooo good! Lots of non-caffeine choices and the drinks were good. Boba was nice and chewy. Wish they could go 30% sweet. The lowest sweetest they can do is either zero or 50%, still good though. They have huge cookies that look delish, but I didn't try yet. Place has no seating except one bench. Okay for pick up, but not for a sit-down date. Lots of parking.
I first heard about this place and kept seeing it on Instagram, so I had to check it out. Thai iced tea soft serve? I couldn't even imagine what it would taste like! On our first visit, it completely blew my mind. The Thai iced tea flavor was rich, creamy, and unlike anything I've ever had before. The boba was cooked to perfection--soft, chewy, and the perfect complement to the soft serve! Run don't walk to this place! You'll thank me for this!
If you haven't been to L'moon Creamery yet... consider this your sign. I ordered the Trophy Thai cup cream and honestly... I'm not the same person anymore. I've NEVER had Thai tea soft serve this good. It's light, creamy, not overly sweet, and doesn't taste fake--just smooth, legit goodness. Like if Thai tea and soft serve had a glow-up. And the toppings?? They understood the assignment. Coco jelly, cereal flakes, grass jelly, AND boba... it's giving texture, it's giving balance, it's giving "I need another one immediately." I finished mine and sat there like... should I? Because I might. Now let's address the boba. I usually don't even like boba (I said what I said), but theirs?? Warm, soft, perfectly chewy... borderline life-changing. Who am I?? The shop itself is a cute little hole-in-the-wall with a sweet, cozy vibe. Service was fast, friendly, and just good energy all around--no stress, no chaos, just vibes. I genuinely wish they had one closer to me because I would 100% be that person pulling up way too often. Don't sleep on this place. Your taste buds deserve better.
The Thai tea soft serve is soo good!!!! The flavor is perfect, robust, and not overly sweet. The Thai tea drink is also excellent! I recommend this place if you are a Thai tea lover.

It would be amazing to have a smaller size because even the 9oz is nice to share with someone, but I was alone this time! Cute spot to grab something yummy and go. I ordered the Thai Tea Soft Serve ($7.95 - 24oz) with Honey Boba (additional 75 cents). This ice cream came silky & creamy with a bold, fresh Thai Tea flavor. It's perhaps one of the best Thai Tea ice creams that I've tasted. Unfortunately, its Honey Boba topping is bland, mushy, and unpleasant. At the very least, this topping's dark color makes a nice photo. (Important: Cash is not accepted. This is a cashless business. They accept credit, debit, and mobile payment.) I arrived at L'moon Creamery (Upland) on Saturday (12PM - opening time). Parking is easy. The lot is very big. Staff interaction is minimal. There's a bell on the counter to call Staff; however, Staff tends to hurry to the back whenever possible. There's no self-service kiosk, but Staff is pleasant when engaging with customers. Staff answered all my questions, and Staff worked hard. My ice cream took 45 seconds. Very fast!! As mentioned, I appreciated the Thai Tea Soft Serve ($7.95 - 24oz) with Honey Boba (additional 75 cents). The Thai Tea ice cream felt high-quality. It's chill, silky, and refreshing. The flavor of fresh Thai Tea is immediately apparent from its first delicious bite. Unfortunately, the Honey Boba felt like an afterthought. This topping had no flavor, and its texture resembled melted gummy bears. Fortunately, the flavor mildly improved after submerging it (for several minutes) within the ice cream. Honestly, I recommend skipping that topping altogether. Concerning ambiance, L'moon Creamery (Upland) is cramped, plain, and old. Although I was the first customer of the day, the floors looked unswept and smudgy. The small cabinet had thick clumps of dust. And the walls felt poorly maintained, aged with time. There's a single bench for customers; there's no tables. This is an order-and-leave spot. L'moon Creamery (Upland) also has no restroom. There's not even a bottle of hand sanitizer. The ventilation was average, but there's an old-looking fan just sprawled on the floor. Thankfully, I loved the soothing instrumental music. I also appreciated the "Happiness Policy" sign. At the very least, L'moon Creamery (Upland) puts effort into their ice cream, and they're willing to replace your purchase if you dislike it. Overall, I appreciated my experience at L'moon Creamery (Upland). The Thai Tea Self Serve is delicious, refreshing, and memorable. Although this small location felt unmaintained, there's genuine potential hidden within. If you enjoy Thai Tea Ice Cream, this is an easy recommendation. 4.7 out of 5
The Thai Tea Trophy is so good! It is a very small shop, so it can get packed quick. The service was super fast and efficient. The corn flakes were the best. I'd definitely come back here for a Thai tea dessert.
We stopped by here after dinner and were floored by all the Thai tea options! Such a cute grab and go spot for Thai tea desserts. I had to get the a soft serve and it was beautiful! Would recommend if anyone love Thai tea!
I came here multiple times omgg it's so yummy! I love getting the Thai soft serve with the boba. Even the smallest size, shown in the picture, is super big! The shop is cute and the service is great too. Please it's actually so yummy. I haven't tried any drinks but I saw a matcha whisk in the back so I think they're legit! Haha! Anyways I recommend!
Longtime customers here--but lately, quality has been inconsistent. My husband and I have been coming to Lmoon in Upland since they opened. We even remember when the owner himself used to work the counter and make drinks. That's how long we've been loyal customers. This has always been our go-to stop after sushi at Sushi Shiro, and we really want to keep supporting them--but lately, the lack of consistency has made it frustrating. Let's start with what they do well: Thai Tea & Thai Tea Soft Serve - This is their signature, and it shows. You really can't go wrong here. Always solid, always on point. But when it comes to anything outside the Thai tea menu, it's a 50/50 gamble. My husband is a huge fan of hojicha lattes, and there aren't many places in this area that offer it. When it's made correctly at Lmoon, it's amazing--deep, toasty, perfectly balanced. But the problem is... it only comes out right depending on who's working. After coming here so often, we've even learned which employees tend to make it incorrectly. When those employees are on shift, he avoids the risk and just orders the Thai tea soft serve instead. As for me? I haven't been so lucky. I've ordered jasmine milk tea or jasmine tea on my last three visits, and unfortunately, none of them came out right: One time, it was so milky it tasted like plain milk with no tea. Another time, it was way too sweet--even though I asked for regular sweetness. And another time, it had barely any sweetness at all. It's disappointing to spend money on a drink only to feel like I have to go home and fix it myself. I love this place, I really do--but lately, the lack of quality control is hard to ignore. We'll will return, mostly for the hojicha or Thai tea when we know certain staff are working, but I really hope they address consistency soon. This place has so much potential, and when they get it right, the drinks are fantastic. But right now, it's a gamble--one that doesn't always pay off.
Yummy yummy dessert area! Albeit small and modest, you will find a clean and cute drink shop that also sells soft serve. The flavors are delightful, the pricing is above fair, and the service is quick and amiable. I do wish there was a sitting area or a few tables around, but I understand given the sizing of the shop. Enjoy these treats in your car!
I first knew about L'moon Creamery from their location in the City of Pasadena. I enjoyed their Thai tea soft serve so much over there, I had to come here and check out their Upland location. Very cute creamery shop! Not a lot of seating except for one bench inside. No outside seating. I love Thai Iced Tea! What better way to reinvent this delicious drink than in soft serve form! Thank you L'moon!! I was greeted right away after entering the shop. The lady behind the counter was super friendly and nice. Unfortunately, at the moment, their soft serve machine went down. I was bummed at first because I came here just for their Thai Tea soft serve. I didn't want to leave without getting something. I ended up with the Thai Fighter. It's basically Thai Milk Tea with creme brûlée on top... wasn't too sweet... very delightful! I would get it again. Toward the end of my visit, the soft serve machine worked again. Soft serve wasn't the firmest yet, but good enough. The sweet lady gave me a small cup of Thai Tea soft serve plus boba to sample... on the house! Thank you so much miss! I appreciate your kindness and generosity. It was sooo very good. Soft serve was perfect texture and taste. Boba was soft and chewy. Must get it every time! Funny, they have been at this location for many years. I've been an Upland resident in the past. This was my first time here. I have been missing out all these years. Not anymore. So highly recommend L'moon!!! Their Thai Tea soft serve will not disappoint. Come on over and taste it for yourself.
The Thai trophy literally leaves me craving it EVERYTIME. The drinks here are great as well but this is what I come back for. The service here is usually okay, and the waiting area is fairly small so it gets a little awkward when it's busy and having to wait for your drink/ice cream. Other than that it's a great spot when you have a Thai tea craving. They also have a matcha float which I'll be trying next time! 10/10 recommend!

Two years on my bucket list, and it completely blew me away! This place has been on my "To Go" list for two years, and I finally got to try it. It was so phenomenal that we ended up coming back twice! Visit 1: I ordered their most popular item--the Thai Tea Soft Serve with honey boba (9oz). Hands down, this is the best Thai tea soft serve I have ever tasted in California. The flavor is incredibly potent, rich, and stays completely true to a perfect soft serve texture. I ate it so fast I didn't even get a photo! My boyfriend got the same thing and added Oreo crumbs, which was a huge hit. Visit 2: I decided to explore the menu and tried the "Fire Dragon"--a black milk tea topped with crème brûlée and honey boba. It was delicious, though to make the tea more rich I recommend brewing the tea a bit longer to give that black tea flavor an extra punch against the rich cream. My little brother ordered the Thai tea soft serve with boba and Oreo crumbs (16oz) and his instant verdict was: "When can we come back?" The moon is a longtime favorite dessert place for me and friends and family! I personally love the 9 ounce Thai tea soft serve with cornflakes and Boba, it's truly addicting! I always bring friends who are in the area here to try it! The inside is also really cute, though small (not much seating). But it's a fun place to swing by for dessert, and their punchcard system is honestly so great if you're a regular customer :) Service is also extremely quick, and the longest I've had to wait for my order has been 3 minutes. read more
Very good little place. Subtle soft serve flavoring with a twist on Milk and Thai tea. Bonus points for serving it with cereal and mochi. The boba was good! Not too sweet but definitely decadent. 10/26/25 L'Moon Creamery Upland, CA... This was a late night snack run before they closed at 11:30 pm last night. I was the last customer. I ordered a coffee ice cream in a waffle cone and a Fire Rabbit drink for my daughter and me to share for when she got home from her trip! Kaylee is a great employee here! Love her customer service! This is a simple and cute little shop! I'll be back again soon!!! It's hidden behind Taco Bell and Jim's Burgers on Foothill & Mulberry just in case you are having a hard time finding it. read more

4/26/25 Cute dessert spot in a plaza anchored by Sea Queen, come check it out! Friends & I were craving some sweet treat & walked over from Fiesta Pizza (best darn pastas n pizzas!). Parking is dedicated but shared with other businesses, free. It's a small shop & no seating in to enjoy (only a bench to sit while waiting for your treat). Ordered it n it was crafted there. Within minutes, our treats were ready to enjoy. Got the fire series, Matcha crème brûlée it was very tasty not too sweet . Staff are polite, cordial but could use a bit more polishing on customer service. Nice spot for dessert. read more
This place specializes in Thai tea related items and flavors. I feel like they might have more stuff, but honestly, I only noticed the Thai tea items. The vibe feels like a small town ice cream parlor at this location. I was on my way home and was looking for a little treat and this place came up. I thought it was perfect especially since this place seems to be open a lot later than all the surrounding businesses. I walked in and this person came out from the back to greet me and help me. I was the only person in the store so it was really chill at that time. The ordering and transaction was super efficient. Super excited to try my treat. I thought the soft serve was super delicious and nails that taste down very well. I could be wrong, but even if this place lacks in variety, they make this so well and it's worth going to. Since it was late and all the other businesses around and were closed, parking was available right out front. read more

Came here to kill some time before heading to the airport. This cute little shop didn't have any tables and only a bench to sit on. So it's more of a to go creamery. The service was nice and you can ask for samples to make sure you rly like it. We got two soft serves for 2 ppl but honestly one small soft serve can fill 2 ppl up since it was so creamy. The Thai tea had a very strong tea flavor which was favorable but the boba wasn't the best. As for the strawberry it was good and they make their syrup in house. Both were rly rich so it was hard to finish it by ourselves. It was a good sweet treat but I def recommend sharing! read more

Thai tea soft serve was oh so creamy with a cold comfort in a cup your day can be dreamy. Don't fret if you're allergic to dairy they got a lot to choose from to keep things merry. Walk up but don't worry bout sitting stand up and enjoy that cup that'll make you feel you're winning! read more

I've been on three different occasions and it hits every time! I love coming here. The service is standard and pretty consistent. My bf and I always get the Thai Tea Soft Serve without boba to share and you get a good amount for the price - I believe around $8-9 for the largest size. I liked the cookie they made, they also warm it up for you if you'd like. The Thai Tea drink itself also hits. The shop is small with a bench to sit on. Against the window, there's a history of their business success from start to now, which I find very endearing. read more
My sister has been wanting to take me and my husband here for a long time because my hubby loves Thai tea. I enjoyed that L'moon perfected their signature flavor, Thai tea. It was the perfect balance of sweet, creamy, and Smokey. The boba was the correct texture and chewiness too! The baristas were quick and skilled in torching our drinks for the brûlée effect. The extra Halloween decor was a nice touch for the space. read more

Never been here before. But I'm super glad I tried them out though!! I've never had Thai tea ice cream like this before. It was soft and creamy and thick. Tasted so smooth!! You can have it with your choice of toppings. I had their boba and halo halo cubes in it. The boba were freshly made and amazing. The cubes gave it a nice burst of sweetness. I really enjoyed the temperance they used on the sugar. Not extremely sweet. You can taste the bitterness of the Thai tea. It was so cold and refreshing!! Its really small inside. Just a long bench to sit on. No actual tables to sit at inside. Its in a pretty dilapidated and sad looking shopping center. It would've been nice to sit inside and eat this. As suppose to eating it in the car. It melts rather quickly so make sure to eat it fast!! Just dont get a brain freeze! They do have a stamp card here which is nice. They have other dessert offering and drinks also. I will definitely be back!! read more
Very cute store, the theme is orange. They have merchandise available for purchase. Theres usually someone waiting at the front when you go in but if there isn't you can ring a bell. It's been quite a while since I been back everything that I got today was a 10/10 ! The drinks are always good and the soft serve boba is always a hit on hot days ! CB Iced Hojicha please! A subtle matcha flavor was a nice touch for a drink on a rainy day. No inside or patio seating, take it to go or congregate just out front the entrance. With drinks in hand it was a nice day to enjoy some soft serve and milk teas with or without boba. All were enjoyable! Friendly, welcoming and efficient staff. The best Thai Tea Soft Serve I've ever had. The tea flavor itself is amazing and somehow tastes more authentic than the majority of Thai Teas I've had from other boba shops and even Thai Restaurants. It's THAT GOOD. I instantly smiled on the first taste. Their Hojicha Tea was also nice and nutty. A good balance with the soft serve! Pricing was quite affordable too. 11/10 will be coming back regularly for a sweet treat read more

They are typically open until 11:30pm everyday and wifey and I stopped by around 10pm. Inside, they do not have any seating so this is definitely more of a grab and go type of spot. As for their menu, they have a great selection of different Thai tea, matcha, and milk tea drinks along with different soft serves too. Wifey and I opted to try the Thai Trophy (Thai tea soft serve with toppings) and the Thai Fighter (Thai milk tea creme brulee). Both items hit the spot for the dessert and the Thai tea flavor was definitely not too sweet! Overall, I would recommend this spot forsure if you are ever in the area. We got the 16oz soft serve, and it was more than enough. You could definitely split it amongst 3 people. We all thoroughly enjoyed the soft serve and would get it again. It was very yummy. This is the only place I know that has thai tea soft serve. read more

I first went to the Pasadena location hoping to try their Thai tea soft serve, but unfortunately, the machine was down that day. So when I happened to pass by this Upland location, I made a second attempt--and yay, they had it! I think it lives up to the hype. Personally, I would've liked the Thai tea flavor to be a bit stronger, but that's just my own preference. Just a heads-up: the shop itself is pretty small with limited seating. Arrived late at night before closing. The service was still very pleasant and kind. There is a lot of parking but not much seating besides a bench next to the door. The Thai tea ice cream has great Thai tea flavor. I got the mixture with Oreo, so I am unsure with how the boba would taste. Hi was there was change in the recipe for the thai tea soft serve? my friends and I noticed it tasted milkier and less of the strong thai tea flavor.
Do you have any seating area?
We have removed our very limited seating since the pandemic and haven’t brought it back yet.
Any of your smoothies Vegan?
We do have vegan option with almond milk for drinks but not the softserve ice-cream. :)
How can I open a franchise in my area?
Thank you very much for your answer. We are flattered :) However, we don't have any plan to do any franchising at the moment. But we definitely are looking to expand. Do you have a location in mind?
Are you going to have problems getting Boba in the future because of the Boba shortage?
Yes we have been working really hard for the past five months finding the boba that meet our starndard for our customers. Now we are still making it but also working on a sustainable solution in the future. Should we make our own boba? :)
Do you have non dairy ice cream options?

We have option of almond milk for the menu that contain milk and chia seed for topping. We recommend our Thai tea almond milk or passion fruit l’moon milk with almond milk. Also, we have black tea that doesn’t contain any dairy. :))
