first wanna say i live in the area and me and my family love this place even before it went viral so we're here often. i came in tonight, monday august 11, at approximately 9:30pm. (perfect time before closing rush btw) there was no line and one customer was waiting for his order and another customer just got handed his order as i was walking in. i walk up to the register and stood for someone to come take the order. there were 3 or 4 girls on shift and at the time 3 were on the opposite side of the counter. 2 of them stop their conversation and the one with the long dark curly hair, thick eyelashes, green shirt and black apron asks me in a not so welcoming way "do you need something" i nod and say "yes" to which she replies again in a not friendly way with a not friendly look on her face "what" so i said "i need to order" back in the same tone i was spoken to. so she sent some other, very nice girl in all black, to take my order. I've only had one other experience like this a while ago when one girl was rude to her coworkers and customers with her booty shorts hanging out right in front of the nuts and sprinkles. The ice cream is good, the place is cute but the customer service is trash sometimes because one girl hates the job she applied to. and who wants to walk out saying "damn she was rude"? that's makes the ice cream taste just as nasty as the attitude. Such a fun dessert find! I tried the Highlander and Matchocolate at Swirls Soft Serve and loved getting to try two completely different flavor combinations. The Highlander was refreshing and tropical with pineapple Dole, coconut and mochi, while the Matchocolate was creamy, chocolatey and had that matcha flavor with Oreos for the perfect crunch. Seen this place on social media and went to check it out to see if the ice creams really do come out that big - it sure does. Got the choco lover, that thing was loaded. Also got a banana split, a classic on a hot day. It was hot, it was packed and the ice creams definitely hit the spot with their cool color changing spoons. Got the thai tea and the pineapple with various toppings. My first advice is to stick with the tangy flavors. Wildly popular soft serve spot. I guessing this because the place was packed when I went and there was a line almost coming out the door. So on the weekend evening looks like a party atmosphere. The line moved relatively quickly. I came here to get soft serve specifically I think any given time there are like eight flavors and you can get for combinations. I ended up getting the Thai tea and Dole Whip combination, which was the seasonal flavor. It sounded like a weird combination at first, but it actually worked. Place was packed inside made you feel a little claustraphobic. The workers were nice. We tried the cherry bomb and and some vanilla with fudge. They are generous with the portions. The vanilla soft serve with fudge and peanuts tastes just like the McDonald's sundae. The cherry bombs were ok. All in all they are little pricey for soft serve all 4 came out to $52.
