5/5 stars for the soft serve alone! My husband and I came by after a date night around 10 PM and beat the crowd, but it got packed fast. Orders are taken quickly, though the wait for the food was a little long (but understandable). A quick tip for the shop: please keep the table napkin dispensers full! The soft serve is piled sky-high, making it a delicious but messy experience. The toppings were incredibly generous, and every single bite was perfect from start to finish. After four failed attempts due to crazy long lines, I finally gave this place a shot. I'm taking off a few stars for two main reasons: first, we waited nearly 30 minutes total, and second, it's ridiculously expensive--around $34 for two ice creams. The ice cream itself is definitely fancy, rich, and very sweet. It's good, but it didn't blow me away. Honestly, I'm a simple guy who prefers Costco, Sam's Club, or Sizzler ice cream. 6/20-21/26 Swirls Soft Serve Upland, CA...My daughter and I came in just before midnight and got our soft serve as we enjoyed into early morning Father's Day! We shared a large vanilla and chocolate swirl with peanut butter, Captain crunch, and mini Reese's butter cup toppings! What a treat!!! Great customer service here! Restaurant is lively and vibrant. Can get crowded quickly. One person taking orders. 1 person making the orders. Inside is clean with limited seating. A couple of seats outside. $30 for a medium shake and ice cream. Price is about $5 too high for each item. Its an interesting place to try once. I like to think of this as a trendy tiktok/Instagram place. You come, you try, get that picture and thats about it. It doesn't have the quality or price point to keep coming back. Parking is plentiful. read more

Yes this place is pricey but worth it the Dubai ice cream we had was a medium cup with chocolate sauce and Dubai stuff from top to the very bottom of the cup staff is nice and bubbly So let's put this way this item we got cost less than two love it size at cold stone The only down side for me is the floor was slippery(not wet or soapy) I wear wearing my docks and I always have good traction with them read more

I went with my best friend at around 10:30 pm, there was a small line but it went by pretty quickly. They have really good music blasting and the service was awesome! She really took her time and even gave recommendations which made my ice cream creation perfect! Ice cream was good but overpriced. Very messy and falling on the floor (overpacked). The establishment floor was dirty and sticky as well as outside so that turned me off from this place. It needs a good power wash on a weekly basis. Not enough napkin dispensers. Should have one where you receive your ice cream, not just on tables because people get annoyed when you have to lean over to grab some. Tables need to be cleaned regularly. TLDR: Soft serve lives! Massive portions. Seasonal flavors that HIT. And a reliable carousel of flavors with great texture. A small shop in upland that SPECIALIZES in soft serve. You may find soft serve in ice cream shops but it's usually cookie cutter mixes that are overly sweet, candy flavored, icy nonsense. This place does one kind of ice cream and it shows The soft serve here is creamy, smooth, nicely flavored, and massive. For context, the worst crime a soft serve can commit is when you can feel ice crystals in the mix. This is homogenous, ice cream that you won't put down until your gigantic cup is finished. My family and I were craving something sweet, so we decided to stop by Swirls Soft Serve and I'm so glad we did! We ended up trying a variety of items, and everything was honestly so fun and delicious. The Cherry Bomb was definitely our favorite. The vanilla ice cream and cherries just went so well together. The peanut butter cup sundae was rich and indulgent, definitely a must if you love chocolate and peanut butter. We also tried the Dubai berries which were delicious! They were not skimpy with the chocolate, pistachio sauce or kataifi. One of my other favorites had to be the waffle ice cream sandwich. It was a warm waffle filled with vanilla ice cream and marshmallow, it was so good. For drinks, I got the passionfruit fruit tea with lychee jelly, which was light and refreshing, and we also tried the Thai tea ice cream with Cap'n Crunch, which had a really unique flavor and a nice crunch. The cashier didn't take down both my orders, for one small cup of the signature, I paid $15.30 so I figured I bought two of the cups I asked for. Nope! Pulled up all late to try Dubai chocolate. Like a year late, anyway you foids were going crazy for this stuff last year so I had to wait until it died down to see what the hype was about. My mom and sister were craving something sweet, and they had a coupon for BOGO 50% off. Parking: Plenty of spots. Free parking lot. Ambiance/Environment: They have a small indoor space with a decent amount of indoor seating and some outdoor seating. It was clean inside, but some of the tables do need some attention. Service: There were only two female workers, and they were simply quick & efficient. Throughput took about 8 minutes for both soft serves. Soft serves: We got the large Cherry Bomb and Matchocolate from the swirls' specialty section. Presentation was definitely on point. The Cherry Bomb wasn't overwhelming sweet. It contained vanilla soft serve with a generous amount of strawberry drizzle and toppings. The Matchocolate was sweet. If you're a chocolate lover like me, then you'll really enjoy this. I thought the matcha soft serve was okay; it was bitter, but the sweet chocolate balanced it out. Pricing: Prices are more than average. They do offer coupons and promos every once in a while, so I'd say it's worth it to treat yourself. If you get a large size, I highly recommend sharing it lol. read more

Tried swirls for the first time today. Went in at around 10:25pm on a Friday, good amount of people but super short wait. They're good at informing you of their menu but they fill those cups high up so a small cup could feed 1-2 people. I got vanilla and matcha soft serve with peanuts and I was satisfied. I got overwhelmed with options (good thing) so I went simple. I'm really wanting to go back and try the Mexicali on a hot day or the dole whip. Toppings can be pretty pricey with so many options so take your time reading everything before you order. Definitely recommending this to others! read more

My girlfriend and I went here for the first time after going to another ice cream shop that had terrible service and looking for ice cream near by. Luckily we stumbled upon swirls. This ice cream shop is so clean, the staff is so friendly and helpful, and very mindful when handling all food. That's super early considering most events don't hand out tickets until 1 hour or less before the start time. Around 11am, the manager came around and gave us drinks if we won a game. Options were tic tac toe, guess the Sunright drink, or boba trivia. I played and got the white peach oolong milk tea in a can, which was really generous. Shortly after, staff came around to take our orders outside the store so that they could begin prepping and shorten the wait time once we went in to pay. I ordered the special anniversary Upland lemon creamsicle drink and got the fragrant oolong milk tea with sunny jelly as my free drink for being the first 150. I also got to spin the wheel for purchasing the lemon creamsicle and got a white mug. The store is big with ample seating to enjoy your drinks and hang out. Nothing would matter if the drinks aren't good, but Sunright delivers consistent quality, and the lemon creamsicle drink was icy and refreshing on a hot day. It really did taste like a creamsicle. Overall, staff were really efficient and nice, and drinks are always good quality with good variety on the menu.

Let me tell you everything is always sooooo Good!!! This place really hits the spot for us, we come here at least 2-3 times a week.
