I never write reviews and this is literally my first yelp review, but I had to write this. Seeing the 4.5 stars on yelp and receiving a very low quality service AND product was insane. I bought an acai bowl, the guy didn't even ask ANYTHING about what flavoring i wanted or toppings. He asked if it was my first time there, I said yes. (Its not like its my first time getting an Acai bowl tho) I get that it was only him, since he said his other 2 employees left, but this store or at least the ACAI bowl is not 4.5 stars, its more like 1 star ! When I asked about the Acai, he said "I'll do this one dont worry everyone loves that one", and pointed at a random thing on his paper. I laughed and said okay, I wanted to believe him. The bowl was not it, I'm pretsure he just blened acai with bananas, since there were some banana chunks inside. Also the fruits on top, were CLEARLY canned fruit (strawberries and peach) they looked old and slimy.. PLUS there was a tonnn of honey which I never asked for. When I went in to pick up the order, the staff member (not sure if he was the owner) was unwilling to even come out of the kitchen to confirm the customer information with me. There was no customer name on the delivery bag, and I was just double-checking with him, yet he responded with extreme impatience. What shocked me the most was that he gave me bad rating! It may be too late to apologize but it's not too late to give a good review! One day I was craving snow and found out that Bearylicious offers it. I called to see if they were open, but unfortunately they were already closed. A few minutes later, they called back and the nice woman on the phone offered to stay there and make it for me and wait for me to pick it up, however I just couldn't make her do that so I politely declined. So she gave me her cell phone number (apparently she was the owner?) and said to text her my order in advance next time and she would have it ready for pick up when I got there. Like, is this real right now? I pinched myself to make sure I wasn't dreaming. It hurt because it was reality. So I went in the following day to fulfill my craving and of course the snow was amazzzzing. In case you were wondering, I ordered mango snow with strawberries and mango slices. I was also given some free cuties along with my order (you know the little oranges). Can you get any cuter than that? If you can find me anything cuter, I'll buy you a dinosaur. Was excited to try this spot, so I came in today ordered two drinks, an açaí bowl and an order of hot chicken. Total was 34 dollars and waited 32 minutes for the order... The drinks came out within 15 minutes but by the time I got the chicken and açaí bowl the ice was already melted in the drinks. I received the wrong açaí bowl or they didn't include everything that was mentioned on the menu, I wanted to try the chai pudding but it wasn't added. I would've asked for it to be remade but I just wanted to leave by then, figured they'd take another 30 minutes. Also service wasn't the best. The cashier was so quiet and wasn't attentive (there was a mom and three kids waiting to get ketchup and ranch for 10 minutes). Disclaimer: the açaí bowls look nothing like they do on the menu. It's very misleading!!! Owner should do something about that. As far as the flavors, the chicken has good flavor but is so dry. The matcha strawberry milk tea was good just very sweet. Berytea was the best thing I ordered. The açaí bowl was average. 5/10 don't recommend especially if you're on a time crunch. read more
