Tpumps is consistently one of my favorite boba spots. The boba is always perfectly soft and chewy--never overcooked or hard--which is hard to find and keeps me coming back. My go-to order is the strawberry mango peach green milk tea with boba, and it's always made correctly and tastes amazing every time. Service is fast, efficient, and genuinely friendly. The two ladies who are usually working are welcoming, patient with questions, and clearly care about getting your order right. The shop itself is spacious with plenty of seating and couches, making it a comfortable place to hang out. Parking is also easy with a large lot, so there's never any stress finding a spot. Stopped by Tpumps to get a drink to beat the heat. Ordered a Thai iced tea with no boba and normal sweetness. It was a creamy refreshing drink to cool down from the summer sun. Although it's across from the high school, this is more of an order and go type of place. Minimal sitting and restrooms were out of order. Definitely not a hang out friendly. I have been visiting Tpumps since I was a teenager, and this is the first time I have been back in years. The store looked exactly the same inside with just a couple chairs and not a whole lot of decor. The nostalgia of visiting this boba shop was there, but I wish I liked my drink more. I got my drink a quarter sweet and it was still sooo overwhelmingly sweet I couldn't finish it. My friend did love the drink she got -- she definitely has more of a sweet tooth than I do. The service was just alright, no greeting or anything when we walked in, but the cashier was pleasant when she took our order. Good to note that on Tuesdays they have "Tpumps Tuesday" where you can get a large size for the price of a regular. read more

Went in today after work and I really liked this boba spot. It's pretty unique and I'm glad I stumbled upon it. It's a pretty cool process to order and it was so inexpensive! I paid $6 including tip along with two toppings, which is something you can't find easily nowadays! Since it was my first time, I had a lot of questions, but it didn't seem to be an issue, service was great. The worker let me sample a topping and I ended up really liking it! We ALWAYS go to TPUMPS because usually, it's the ONE BOBA PLACE that USUALLY doesn't disappoint. Today was the day that changed. I walked in there and the cashier doesn't even look me in the eye, okay whatever, no biggie. She asks "hi, what can I get you?," I start to give her my order and then with a VERY condescending tone she says "wait wait what's your name first of all?!" Like as if im in the wrong for giving her my order when she asked for it ... ok whatever. Then, when I get my drinks and get in the car I notice one of my drinks is missing a topping. U go back inside and tell her "hey one of my drinks is missing boba," she responds, AGAIN, with a rude and CONDESCENDING tone "ok. So you want THREE toppings", still not looking me in the eye. I respond "well, yes I also ordered boba in there and it's not there." They fix it while she's chatting with the other girl working there and she hands it to me very aggressively and says "HERE." . I go back inside the car and turns out my gf's boba doesn't even have one of the syrups we ordered. At this point, im not even gonna bother to go back inside, it's not worth my stress or energy. I didn't get the girls name, but it was today September 2, 2025 at around 5:30pm. The girl was kind of short, Asian, with very long false eyelashes. Not cool. I hope the owner reads this and the girl can have some sort of education on how to treat PEOPLE not even just customers, but PEOPLE because this was not cool. 0/10 experience. I came in today 6/27/26 from the gym next door and got a drink for a friend. On the way back I realized I had ordered the wrong thing and went back to get another, not only did they make another one for me, but they let me keep the previous one and would not charge me for the remade one. The girl at the front, Sara, was so Incredibly kind and insisted her and her coworkers make the drink for free. Thought I'd try out a new tea place and wow. Absolutely not to my test. I asked for very light sweetness on a boba milk tea, and the drink was so sweet it wasn't even consumable. I had to throw it away. :( I'm surprised by all the great reviews (which is what drew me to try out the place). This is located across the street from Upland High School in the same plaza as 24 Hour Fitness. On TPUMP TUESDAY you can get the pumbo (large) size for the price of a regular! I like that they have a rewards system so be sure to give them your phone number for free drinks after a certain amount of purchases and on your birthday! You can try different flavor combinations or you can keep it simple. The boba tends to be really chewy but not that sweet. Personally I like my boba a little harder but still chewy, not to the point where you chew on the boba and it just melts into your teeth. There's a sofa to sit on or a table to wait at. The line is typically out the door, especially on Tpump Tuesday. Pretty dark in there and the restroom is always out of order. read more

Cool place to hang! Wonderful service, well accommodating to our needs, wants, desires. The staff here are a great team! So many flavors to choose from it's hard to decide what your tastebuds want. Taste their combination of the day. Lots of tropical, fruity, coffee and unique flavors. It's a syrup pump so more on the sweet side. Good thing is they have sweetness adjustments available. I would prob stick to the milk tea with these taste buds. Staff were so awesome and really take good care of their customers. I appreciated that! Don't forget the Tuesday upgrade! I've been a patron to TPumps for 4 years now. TPumps has always been pretty great, and if they weren't, I wouldn't be coming back year after year. While I do go to both the Upland location and the Monrovia, the former is my usual. The workers are very friendly and kind, most of the time. Sometimes there is a bad apple, however, who does not smile, does not greet you, and does not pay attention, or seem at all interested. Obviously, these poor experiences stick out more, and if I have one critique, it is for them to be sure all their staff have a good attitude. I understand having bad days, of course, and I know working in customer service can be draining. However there have been multiple occasions where a certain staff member is continually upset, bored, and flat out rude. Being polite is more important than being right all of the time. But, not to being them down; the staff are otherwise always incredible. While being a regular may have it's 'perks' that is only due to their exceptional customer service. I really appreciate when staff do go above and beyond with their kindness and generosity. The TPumps in Upland is pretty spacious, and has a bar, couches, and a high top table. It's great for studying and hanging out, as I've seen some of the students from the high school across the street doing work here before. The ambiance is nice, and they play pretty good casual music. I think the playlist varies by day, but I believe it's mostly hip hop and R&B or 90's pop and rock. The service is quick and easy, and I like that you are able to watch your order be made. They have fun decorations, and often have 'vote' tip jars. The tea is the absolute best I have ever had. Personally, I get a Watermelon+Peach+Passion Fruit Green Tea w/ normal sweetness and EXTRA Strawberry Popping Boba. So, I have never really been into the classic milk tea and honey boba drink, but from my friends who do drink that, TPumps is exceptional. Their boba is different and unlike other tea places. What is the best about them, though, is their variety in flavors. You can pick up to three flavors to add to a drink, resulting in endless combinations. These are created with flavored syrup, though, so if you do find that disgusting, TPumps isn't for you. And that's okay. They have a base of green or black tea but also have other different types. You can also choose a sweetness level, which is an additional sweetener added to the drink. You can get it light, normal, or extra sweet. However, if you'd rather not have extra sugar in your drink, or are sensitive to overly sweet drinks, the workers are always happy to not put any in. Personally, I don't believe it makes a huge difference, so it's pretty good either way. Other than honey boba, they have other toppings. Including-but not limited to- Lychee jelly, strawberry, mango, passion fruit, and lychee popping boba. In late August and early September this year, they completely ran out of popping boba. For someone who only gets Strawberry Popping Boba, this was devastating. It was due to an issue, running out across every Tpumps location. Finally, though, in mid-to-late November, it's back. In total, TPumps is an absolutely wonderful business, with locations across California. I cannot find a better tea place, even after almost half a decade. If you're unsure about going, I completely recommend it. However, they do do a TPumps Tuesday deal, which upgrades your drink from a TPumps (regular 24 oz.) size to a Pumbo (32 oz.) Because of this, it's always crowded on Tuesday Evenings, but otherwise it is never too bad of a wait, if at all. Even then, the line rarely goes out the door. Tpumps is PHENOMENAL! I usually come here after work since I'm near the area. Their lavender lychee lemon green tea with lychee jelly and the rose vanilla green milk tea are my go-to. They do have $2 drinks in the fridge near the pick up area. They do fundraising for schools too. Not alot of seating inside and the floor can be sticky. The staff is nice. This location is located right by my gym so it is hard to leave or drive by without stopping by and grabbing a drink especially with the southern California heat wave sometimes! There is an area to sit on the right side and then some bar stools and a table as well if you're coming with a crowd and just wants to hang out. But for most of the times I have been there, it is usually empty. There drink menu can be extremely overwhelming because there is ALOT of options from different teas or various flavors that you can mix. I mean you literally mix any types of flavors. I ordered the strawberry mango peach black tea with boba and it was good. The boba tasted fresh and they were very quick with getting the order out. The only thing I'd say is that their drinks are really sweet. If you're not into sugary sweet drinks, you can always lower the level of sweetness as well. read more

Decent boba shop for the upland area. Theres not a lot of options nearby and tpumps was close. This place has all the alternative milk options and every single flavoring you could imagine. The only flaws is the flavoring: they use torani coffee syrups rather than regular boba shop fruit flavorings. This makes the drink taste a little weird, almost pike snow cone syrup and not something you would put in a milk tea. The almond black milk tea is a safe option thats very good! I got it with oatmilk and no sweetness (the almond flavoring has sugar in ut) My boyfriend god a mango lemon green tea which was ok, not the best though. It tastes very perfumey and a little too artificial. The boba texture was perfect this day which is hard to find. I used to get tpumps often and wondered why they've been getting less busy. Revisiting them recently showed me why. The drinks here are so mediocre now compared to other new boba spots. Everything here is fake syrup flavors. Nothing is fresh. It's literally fake syrup with coffee creamer and bland tea. On the bright side workers are nice despite what they are given to work with. Definitely will be ending my tpumps journey . SOO many better options out there. read more

WORTH IT for the daily special! Unlike the one I went to in Fremont in NorCal, the daily specials here are $2.50, but there was a LONG list of unique mix ups to choose from. Just an FYI, daily special drinks: -have no ice -and you can NOT adjust the sweetness -they're already pre-made in a fridge that they have. For now, it's take out only at this location. We got the: 1) Rose Green Milk Tea: -Standard rose green milk tea. -Definitely silky but pretty sweet. 2) Chocolate Peppermint Black Milk Tea: -We got this both at regular sweetness and 0 sugar. -The regular sweetness was super chocolatey and had peppermint aftertaste. -For some reason, the 0 sugar version was JUST AS sweet as the regular sweetness, just less chocolatey and a bit more watered down... 3) Green Apple Watermelon Green Tea: -Mostly just tastes of green apple, but it's a simple sweet fruit tea. -Refreshing, especially when it's hot out. 4) Raspberry Coconut Milk Tea: -I'm generally not a raspberry fan, but this wasn't tart at all. -Just imagine a berry coconut milk drink. -My favorite of the bunch surprisingly. 5) Marshmallow Blueberry Milk Tea: -You definitely get the sweetness of the marshmallow. Very authentic taste. -The blueberry was also like the raspberry milk tea. Not tart at all, but just tastes like a generic berry drink. Honestly, I think T Pumps is ONLY worth it for their daily special drinks since the mixes are pretty unique and are super affordable. I wouldn't pay the full price to mess around and mix something that potentially would taste awful. Although the teas may be brewed here, all the flavor is "pumped" in as the name implies. So you're getting syrups mixed in your drink. It's nothing more than a fancier Quickly if that means anything. TLDR; go for their daily special. Skip for any other reason! read more
