Very disappointed today when I decided to give Nekter a try. I walked in, there are 2 young ladies at the register and they simply just briefly look up at me and say nothing or do nothing, one of them was on the cell phone. After several minutes of standing there waiting to order, I was non-existent. Not even so much as a hello or a welcome in. Decided to turn around and walk out. I'm not the first one to mention this, but it was 645pm. They close at 7pm. The chairs were already turned over and put on top of the tables. The 1st thing the employee said to me when I got to the register was "we close in 15 minutes." I paused to take that in. My response was "can you still take my order?" she said yes... I'm not sure what kind of reply she wanted from that initial statement ?should I have said "oh 15 minutes? Well, let me turn around and leave even tho you are still opened for 15 minutes". If you know me, you know I am an absolute sucker for a delicious smoothie! And the thicker, the better! Ordered a dragon fruit smoothie with extra fruit, all the fruit, and added Greek yogurt for some extra protein and man...I can't stop thinking about it! It was delicious, thick, and that Greek yogurt added such an awesome element because it's coated on the cup rather than blended in. My only gripe was that it was over $12 to purchase! That's quite steep for a smoothie. While I appreciate the fresh fruits and no major additives, it's definitely a splurge for us common folk. I went in and ordered a large juice and some waffacados. Then I ordered a blueberry and Almond protein bowl because it looked so good on the picture! When I got it it had 1/2 a strawberry and some small blueberries. I asked the guy who made it if I could get more strawberries. He said no, that's how they come. I told him as I looked in disbelief at the advertisement, "I ordered it because of how good it looked in the picture! This doesnt have nearly as much strawberries as in the ad. He replied that that's what they tell us to put, just one strawberry. I looked at my bowl and showed him there was barely 1/2 a strawberry there! He began to walk away. I wanted my money back at that point, these bowls are not cheap. He continued to walk away and didn't refund the bowl. The irony is, i just spent almost $40 dollars yesterday and about $32 dollars today, after not going for a few years due to them nickel and diming me. Customer service can definitely approve. It's a pretty basic communication between ordering a juice and receiving your juice. But just the overall counter interaction, has me almost feeling that I'm being an inconvenience because I am ordering a drink. To getting greeted with "are you going to be a min?!" Maybe it should be rephrase to "I'll give you a min" I was the only one on there. It took me a minute because I was looking for a drink ... which was no longer on the menu. And the response was "a smirk -we got rid of that" They have one job. It's pretty simple, just have simple friendly, and welcoming customer service skills. read more

Well, I went back and this is what I got today. Peanut Butter Bowl. I have had these before so I know how they should look. I took pics, the container is about 1/2 full, from the top view there is very little actual fruit, oh and notice there us no granola. I ordered extra granola, which they put in a cup , but they didn't put any granola on the bowl. Disappointed. Yesterday morning 3/23/25, I ordered from the mobile app. When I went into the shop to pick up my order, the juicer (not sure of his name) was so nice and friendly. He went in the back to get my order. My mobile order was correct. I order two large smoothies and a bowl. My family enjoyed the smoothies and my bowl was delicious just what we needed to start our Sunday morning. I hope the juicier is recognized for being outstanding. Today I was wanting to try Acai Mango Bowl but when I ate the acai mango there were no mango in it. When the lady who prepared my order gave to me, the guy who took the order already asked "where was the mango?" And actually there was no mango. She was not cheating by not giving the mango. This Nekter in Upland was always my go to spot but this recent visit was horrible. I waited 45 minutes for just one small smoothie that normal takes them 5 mins. The lady that helped me out told me that she was alone and I could tell by the looks of how busy it was in there. I'm not sure what's going on they seem a bit understaffed, but I will not be coming back here and I wouldn't recommend coming here unless you want to wait 1 hour for your order. They use to have a B rating and now it's down to a C. I don't think I'll be getting food here anymore since it takes a lot for a business to get a C rating. Ex: not washing hands or using gloves properly or making sure the counters are clean. Everytime I come in there's no one inside and all the employees are in the back. It feels like they don't care to be honest. They also never have the cookie dough soft serve. I've been trying to order it at this location for weeks and they always tell me there out, and now they're out of all the flavors. the manager here lacks accountabillity for not securing my drink before giving it to the delivery driver and after i told him i dont feel comfortable drinking the drink because juice was missing and it was never sealed in the first place by him who admitted to making the drink rather than resolving it by saying come back and ill replace the drink he just kept trying to put it on the driver in a round about way. speaking very manipulative not answering direct questions saying its the drivers responsibility to make sure products are sealed. dont go to this location or get delivery from here! they dont seal their drinks nor take responsibility for it. read more

I used to visit this location a couple times a week. Drinks were always fantastic and service was good. Today I got to the location a little after 10. There were people waiting inside and several in line. I realized there was only one person working. No one was greeted upon entry, we all stood there just waiting to find out if anyone was going to help. Finally, the ONLY employee working came to the register and took orders. She then went back to start making orders. After waiting 30 minutes, I asked about when my order would be made and I was told another 10-15 minutes. At this point I had no additional time to wait so I cancelled my order. But guess what? The one and only employee working, doesn't have the authorization to refund me. So now I have to wait for the manager/owner to hopefully call me back to complete a refund in the system. Let's see if I ever get that refund. Won't be returning. read more

Normally I have a great experience at this Nekter. In the past the service has always been so quick and lately I don't know what's going on. The last 3 times I've came in there has only been one employee working and most of the time the lobby is packed. Now it takes 30+ minutes to receive your item, which is unacceptable. I'm not sure why they only have one employee working by themselves and it seems overwhelming when the whole store is full. I think the management needs to work on this area to improve customer service and give the employees some extra help. I will not be returning unless this issue is fixed. read more

Upland, CA A friend of mine treated me to lunch and I chose Nekter which I have been wanting to try for a while. I have heard rave reviews about their smoothies and juices from another Nektar location and I was super excited to try something light and not too heavy. My friend ordered an Acai bowl for me and I grabbed a table outside while she ordered, she ordered a green juice. I forgot to order almond butter with the Acai bowl as it does not automatically come with the order, but can be ordered as an add on. The Acai bowl was beautifully decorated with granola, gogi berries, thin slices of banana, cacao nibs, diced green apple and blueberries? The actual smoothie in the bowl was a bit more tart than I like, I asked to leave out the agave, because I don't usually find agave necessary, but if ordering again from Nektar, I would order with almond butter and keep the agave. We make these at home and honestly I prefer my home made version, but this was a nice treat...but without the protein in the almond butter I was hungry several hours later. I did not check in so I missed out on the Yelp Check in for the free Ginger Shot! Bummer as I only realized this after the fact. This was a little hard to find for me I am not familiar with this area and my GPS sent me across the street to the Chick Fil A side as there are two major shopping centers in the area. This one is located across the street from Chick Fil A in the same plaza as Chili's and the Habit on what appeared to be the south side of 19th street. read more

Really wish I had read the reviews before placing my order :( My husband and I both ordered a 3 day cleanse and was told the drinks would be ready the following day when they get their shipment "usually in the afternoon" (per employees words) and they will give us a call when it gets there. It's now 5 o'clock we received no call and could not call them because the number is disconnected and when we popped up workers are on their phones just hanging out . They tell us "Oh we just got the shipment at 4pm we'll make them now it takes like 5 minutes". If it takes 5 minutes to make why not utilize the hour you had before I popped up searching for my $200 order to make and have it ready??? It's upsetting that the numerous negative reviews haven't been enough for the management to change the horrible customer service we're receiving. read more

I Gave this place a chance again two more times to be exact and will definitely not be returning. The staff clearly has no idea of what is advertised in the store, nor how to make the items on the menu. We were charged wrong and missing an item. The girl said she would put it down as a credit and took our receipt. We asked her how anyone in the store would know if we had a credit for a drink and she said it would be written down. We ended up going back for the missing drink a week later and as suspected no record. I think this store clearly needs better staff training. We will be going to the Rancho location from now on. I usually go to this location after my workout or yoga session and order a smoothie or a bowl depending on how I'm feeling. I have never had a problem with my order before and it has always come out tasting great. The only real gripe I would have about this location would be its tiny parking lot with tiny parking spots! read more

Plenty of free parking lot out front (located in a shopping center). Drinks/açaí bowls are a little on the pricier side. Also, it takes some time for you to get your order. It's worth it to me though to get a healthy and refreshing juice on a hot day. read more

I love coming here on a hot day to grab a refreshing smoothie. I was greeted right away as soon as I walked into the store and I was helped by Ivana. One of the nicest cashiers I have met in a long time. I wanted to try something new so she offered me to try one of the coffee-ish/chocolate drinks. Exterior = 3/5 This is located in the plaza (the one with BevMo and TJ Max) right off the 210 exit for Campus. Parking can fill up quick because this location shares spaces with a couple eateries like Afters, Habit, and Panera. Good news at least the parking is free and there are many spaces (may just have to park near the back). There are a couple places to sit outside of the store, if you don't want to sit inside or if it's is full. Interior = 3/5 The store is well lit and separates the ordering section from the seating section, so people aren't ordering next to you. I noticed some of the chairs were kind of dented in the foot area, and I couldn't figure out if that was the design. Also my table was super wobbly. Not a super large amount of space to sit, but just enough to wait for your drink or have a quick chat. I don't know if I would study here or have a big group sit down. You could find seating outside for that. Service = 5/5 The cashier was super helpful in explaining the drinks to me since I was pretty new to it. She even broke down pea vs. whey protein, since I was more used to whey. They also have pre-made drinks if you just want something quick and have to run. Order = 3/5 Berry banana burst (add on = pea protein): 3/5 I'm not a usual fan of banana, and found it okay in this drink. Not much sweetness, from what it tasted, so if you like a bit more on the sweeter side then you may not like this. It was pretty thick which I think was due to the protein (couldn't really taste it either). Drink was an okay experience for me considering the flavor and price - which was above 6.50 for a small and an add on. Strawberry lemonade (pre-made): 4/5 This was pretty intense in the flavor department. When you first drink it (shake first), the sourness gets you immediately then followed by the sweetness of the strawberry, then boom I found the cayenne pepper. It was a mix of flavors for me which was nice. I would find sometimes I tasted the sweet first then the sour, but always the spice would come last. Sugar content for this surprised me - 22g per serving. Cold brew coffee vanilla latte (pre-made): 2/5 It says no soy or dairy was used in making this so I was intrigued by the concept of the cashew milk. I shook it and took a sip - it was thicker than coffee I usually drink. That kind of threw me off and I wasn't sure how I felt about it. The flavor is there with the coffee and the vanilla, but the thickness kind of deters me from wanting it again. I forgot the sugar content for this one but I was equally as surprised. Overall = 3/5 Price was definitely not on my side considering I spent about 20 dollars on three drinks, with one being actually made there when I ordered. I feel like I would come here once every so often since the drink did taste okay - just the price doesn't taste good for my wallet. I would consider exploring the cleanse and those things since I do hear about that. Also the pre-made drinks have quite a bit of sugar in then and they are also two servings per bottle - so watch your macros if that's what you are doing. Might find yourself going overboard. I might not get them too often since one serving of the lemonade was like 22g sugar. Hint = if you don't know what to get - go and ask, it will help to ensure you get the right add on for your drink. read more
