We went to Coldstone in Upland last night and it was already closed before its closing time as listed at the store. My family was very disappointed as we love Cold Stone. We ended up going to Handel's in Upland and the wait in line was worth it. I still love Cold Stone but I've had another negative experience at the upland cold stone location before. There isn't anything wrong with cold stones besides the price which is ridiculously expensive but if you go once in a while it's OK. My wife and I both got the "like it" Which is the smallest container you can get. We also added waffle cone. It came out to almost $15. The staff was friendly and nice no issues with that. I may come here once every eight months or so if that, just because I can't justify the price. The place wasn't super clean, but it was a holiday and there were probably about eight people in front of me. They only had two staff members when I was there so I'm sure I can get overwhelming. *FOR ALL WHO HAVE ALLERGIES PLEASE READ* I came to this location on 4/1 and asked the employee to not put peanuts in my ice-cream several times and what does he do? HE PUTS PEANUTS IN MY ICE CREAM which landed me in the hospital that night!!!!! The owner was there and failed to supervise her new employee. This mistake could have easily been avoided had she put priority over training him correctly and staying by his side as he fulfilled orders instead of trying to rush out orders to get people out the door. I had to have multiple injections: steroids, Benadryl, and they even had to use an epipen on me. Then I call back the next morning to complain and the owner wanted to give me a refund for my individual ice-cream which was like $5 maybe and NOT the $25 refund for my entire order!!!! Are you kidding me?! How about you pay for my hospital bill and medication? Oh and on top of that she gives me a $15 gift card guys...now that's embarrassing. Cold Stone has lost customers that had been going there for years due to their NEGLIGENCE.
