Where you place your order. Very user-friendly!

These wonderful bakers also allow you to email them your order so that you can get exactly what you want, and not just what is available for the day (you can only choose from the display cases if you don't pre-order). They can even pack them individually if you want so you can gift them to your loved ones without stressing about packaging. As always, the staff is wonderful and makes the whole pick up process easy and efficient. You have to try them out. Their tarts are not too sweet, and because they aren't cloying, you might find yourself snarfing down 2 or 3 of them in one sitting! They pair well with coffee, so get some next door at Rad Coffee and hang on tight for the most awesome caffeine/sugar boost!

I have tried almost everything here. I love the donuts and sweet treats her. My whole family always smiles when they see the cosmic box.

Such a cute little spot ! I wish i could review the donuts but my husband ate them all, guessing that's a good sign. The pop pastry was delicious . Would recommend and definitely going back . You wouldn't even know it's vegan lol.

    90's space stuff...

The flavors are out of this world!!! So delicious and highly recommended... My favorites are the peach astrotarts and the vegan rice krispie. The decorations inside are space themed with an actual alien spaceship to abduct you for taste testing... The bakers and workers there are friendly and can answer any questions about allergies or dietary concerns... The best part is that it's all vegan and cruelty free... After hours, you can pick up some of their vegan baked goods in cute packaging next door at Rad Coffee.

Stopped by Cosmic Bakery in Upland and had a great experience--so good I came back the next day. First visit, I think I was helped by the owner, who was super helpful, took the time to explain the menu, the concept, and answered every question I had. Even helped with the self-service kiosk, which made the experience that much better. Came back on March 18th (Tuesday) around 11-12 PM, bringing someone along to share the place with them. Unfortunately, the staff that day was a different story. The person behind the counter barely engaged, just pointed at the menu and walked away. Every little question felt like I was wrestling for answers. Some items weren't on the iPad, others had different images, and instead of clarifying, the employee gave the quickest answer possible before disappearing. The setup is cool, but there's no real written menu anywhere--just an iPad and a display case of goodies. If there were actual descriptions, ingredients, or signage, there'd be fewer questions, making the self-service approach easier. But as it stands, if the staff isn't interested in helping, it makes the experience frustrating for new customers. As for the food? Pretty solid. That Cinnamon Toast Crunch donut? Stale. Everything else? Great. Still giving this place 5 stars because I get it--as a former manager, I know that business owners treat their spots like their babies, and unfortunately, the people they hire don't always represent it the way it deserves. That said, I don't know if I'll be back, but it was worth a try.

I didn't get to taste all the items that we bought but everyone enjoyed all that they did. I had the lemon pop-tart type dessert and it was delicious. I also had a bite of a cookie with marshmallows in it and that was tasty too. My sister loves the donuts and them being vegan is a huge bonus. It's self serve so it's great and quick. The assembly of your pastries may take a few minutes or so. The sound level is low and the music was mellow. Plus it's a super cute shop.

been wanting to try this place for forever! it's pretty pricey for the size and self service cinnamon roll was dryyyy and and they give it to you just like that, no offering to warm it up or anything nothing maybe their other pastries are better but this kinda turned me off

First Visit Small location. We were greeted promptly by the associate. She was pleasant and went through the menu and what is offered. This was a kind and welcome first impression. I did ask her about the ingredients used. I was impressed by her knowledge. I was not planning on purchasing any items. My company did. She ( NOT Vegan ) chose the strawberry cookie. And she said it was extremely tasty and good. Since this is a Vegan establishment. My guest to quote " The cookie tasted like real cookie! ". Stated more as a shock or surprise, and in no way down playing. If Vegan is your thing OR you just want to explore and expand your taste palette..Give a try To each their own... Thank You for reading

The brownie was good. While I didn't love the rice Krispy treat, my hubby did. So it is all good across the board.

It's tradition for my daughters and I to go out to breakfast on Mother's Day prior to going to church. We got here about 5 minutes after they opened and there was already a line inside! Very popular place! The line moved quickly and we placed our order at the register. They call your name when your order is ready and my daughters were kind enough to go pickup everything. There's tables inside and outside and we chose the large corner booth inside. It's very clean and roomy inside with minimal decor. The owner brought over cookies for the moms, and brought out cups of iced water for those who needed them. Great hospitality and service! I was tempted to get the Ube pancakes, but I had been eyeing the lilikoi French toast all week, so I went with that and a cappuccino. Also got a side of bacon and eggs. My oldest got the buttermilk pancakes and my youngest got the chocolate chip buttermilk pancakes and an iced matcha + honey with strawberry cold foam. Everything was wonderful! They make their own bread for their French toast and the passion fruit curd from scratch! Wow! So good! The strawberries were also super fresh. The bacon was cooked perfectly--nice and crispy! Really good portion sizes as well. We will definitely be back!

The cashier helped me decide on a couple loaves after I told them what I was making. Super helpful. It took a second to get their attention and it seems the bakers are fully focused on bread but can't complain when the bread is great! Service 8/10. Food: Sourdough round. Theirs is a softer crust, dense crumb sourdough. It's thick, chewy, and carries a good tang. Don't expect an airy and glutenous dough but expect a darn tasty one. 9/10. Cranberry walnut round. A weekend special apparently. It is delicious, carrying the same tang from the regular loaf, a thicker crust, and a ridiculous amount of both walnut and cranberry. It is not a shy loaf. Basically sourdough+ 9/10. Cheddar Jalapeño bagel. Duuuuuude what in the world. Okay get off your high horse once you get here from the east coast. This bagel does not have the same crust and chew. But it is a great item. It does have a great chew on the exterior, snappy and bouncy. The dough is perfectly fluffy. And the taste. The taste! I'm didn't need any spreads and didn't last the drive home. Didn't even remember to snag a picture till it was nearly gone. FULL of cheddar and jalapeño flavor. Highly recommend.

Ridiculously yummy!…read more Been here several times for their loaves of bread, scones, and cookies! For the bread, I've been enjoying their cinnamon raisin recently, but they are known for their different sourdoughs! Rosemary sourdough is a good one, but the cheddar sourdough has been pretty great with some garlic butter! You can also request the loaves to be sliced! For their scones, these are not your regular scones. They're as soft as a cookie, but there is still some density to it where a cup of coffee or tea would be a great addition. It's a pretty substantial scone, and I'm pretty full with just that and a drink. Chocolate scone has been my go-to. For cookies, the golden raisin oatmeal one is probably our favorite, followed by the snickerdoodle! Staff has been nice and accommodating! No issues here. Very clean store! It's a very popular bakery, and they can run out of goods before midday. Highly recommend to get here early. Plenty of spaces in the parking lot during the weekend, typically!
