Thanks to Erica, this is a well oiled machine that runs not only extremely well but provides the highest level of quality whether you like a sandwich or a fruit tart. Love to pop in for a quick lunch whenever I can!

I've been coming here for a while but I've only ever tried their pastries. If you come here, be prepared to stand in line for at least 5 to 10 minutes. It is a popular place. The lady taking the order is quick so most of the time the wait is due to the customer's indecisiveness. To be fair, there are a lot of options to choose from. I cant speak to the sandwiches or lunch options since I haven't tried, but their bread is tasty. I usually pick up a loaf of sourdough for the week. They have different flavors to choose from, but I usually go with the OG or the kalamata olive one. The only thing I would like is for them to slice it thicker. I'm giving 5 stars because I love their croissants, especially the chocolate croissant. It's one of the best ones I've had in the US. I usually pop it in my air fryer oven and it gets nice and toasty. It's flaky and buttery and the chocolate is not too sweet. Their cheese Danish is also a must try. My mom loves the lemon scone and cranberry orange scone. They have a good flavor but I've never really cared for the scony, dense texture (from here or elsewhere). Chocolate chip cookie is delicious as well. It's a thinner cookie but tasty. The snickerdoodle is ok. It's not cinnamony enough for me. Ive had too many other pastries to list them all, but I recommend checking it out for yourself.

I've been hearing so many good things about this local bakery, especially their bread, so I had to stop by today. Beautifully decorated, high ceilings, nice natural lighting, and absolutely the firmest most comfortable sectional wall couch seating ever! Especially with one of the throw pillows behind you. Excellent use of the space. Soft classical music entices you to stay and relax a bit. I only had time to get a 16oz dirty iced chai latte because I was waiting for the post office to open, but I'll be back for sure! Kalamata olive bread? Rosemary sourdough? Heaven! By the way the dirty iced chai latte was So Yummy ! I'm energized to do the dozens of things I need to do today! Some pretty postcard style cards designed by local artist Debra Thomas Zasadzinski caught my eye, so I also purchased those for $5 each. By 9:00 there was a line out the door! Popular! For good reason! Highly recommend!!!

I usually come here for their sandwiches and chocolate chip cookies. They do sell out quickly on their sandwiches, my favorite is the brie with thick slices of butter on their baguette. Their chocolate chips which have crispy, buttery edges are great too. Crispy on the edges and chewy on the inside, it's on the thinner side as well. The staff is nice and the place is clean, seating is limited though.

Cute little bakery located in the Claremont Village. As you walk in, you are met with the pleasant sweet smell of baked goods. I met the owner and she was very nice. Inside is small so there isn't much seating. I had to get one of their sourdough breads which are baked daily. It was delicious! I also bought a banana chocolate scone and a pumpkin muffin. The scone was great but I didn't care for the pumpkin muffin. It was pretty dry.

Pumpkin tart...yummy; Fruit tart...very yummy.

Finally got a chance to visit this bakery. I grabbed a few items to go because I wanted to sample a little bit of everything. Here's what I tried: * Turkey & cheese baguette sandwich: Plain but tasty. * Brie & butter on baguette: Simple, fresh, and delicious. * Plain croissant: Yes!!! Flaky and buttery. * Brownie: Dense, smooth, and deeply chocolatey. * Pumpkin tart: Yummy. * Fruit tart: Also yummy. The baguette sandwiches and croissant really took me back to France. The baguette was just a tad too hard, but I still loved the Brie & butter one. Can't wait to return and try more items!

My friend told me about this place and I absolutely love it. I ordered some scones and they were delicious! My son got some chocolate croissant and he liked it too. I love the variety of the baked goods there and they bread and drink options are great too. I enjoyed their olive bread and wanted to buy a loaf but it was sold out, so keep in mind that some of their popular items might be sold out if you go there late. I liked their latte too. All the staff were so friendly and the service was awesome. I just wish there were more tables inside the store but it's located in a cute neighborhood that you can just walk around after getting some bread here. I highly recommend this place!

After getting multiple goodies delivered up to Ojai from here from my mother in law we finally got to go when we came down to LA. The fresh bread rack was impressive and all the pastries looked delicious. There's no wrong choice, only right choices. We got the buttermilk biscuit, Bostock, banana nut muffin, banana nut scone, apple croissant, and a loaf of challah bread. Everything was so quality and delicious. There was a line out the door when we arrived but they serve very quickly it felt like no time at all. Especially when trying to decide which items to get. It's very cute inside, minimal seating, and the staff was very nice. The owner was buzzing about helping serve clients and bringing out special made cakes. Can't wait to come here again. The prices were so reasonable! I was extremely pleased that all our items were under $25

A French Artisan bakery store is located in Downtown Claremont. They have fresh baked bread, pastries, cakes and very European like. The French bread, brioche, banana muffin gets sold out quickly if you don't go out and get them at 9am in the morning. Service is good, and they will ask if you need slice the bread for you. Ambiance is European artisan bakery, and small. Taste is authentic French European, and for carb lovers this is a must visit place. I will try coffee with pastries to go next time along with other baked goods!

Stopped by on a weekday morning to pick up a birthday cake for a co-worker and have decided to make Creme bakery my go-to for cake needs in the area! Service is quick and friendly. Parking was no problem in the morning. The bakery is quite small, with some seating available on the side of the store. The Berry Chantilly cake was a hit with everyone at the office! Everything about the cake was fresh - the berries, cream, and cake. The cake was not too sweet or dry and priced very fair for the quality. It was beautifully decorated, with an option for writing if you request it. They take orders 24 hrs in advance to ensure availability! I've tried several other pastries from the bakery over the years. The pastries I've tried were good, but nothing to write home about. Their fresh baked breads are also priced very fair but not my go-to. Overall, a nice little bakery in the neighborhood. Their hours are a bit limited which is why I don't stop by too often.

Crème is known for their wonderful baked goods and pastries! It has a beautiful ambiance and service has always been friendly and efficient (the line goes quick !) Been coming here for years! Love the ham and cheese croissant and all their muffins and cookies! Did you know that they make the best baguette with Italian sausage and cheese? The crust was perfect and I love the little pickles inside! This is yummy to order for lunch for a picnic and a chocolate chip cookie! This combo paired well with a Claremont beer brewery "the Baldy" at the recent Claremont Village Venture! Love this Bakery! Be sure to get the baked goods on Sat because they are closed Sunday!

Some cookies look like squares?

I've seen and purchased round cookies. But they do have other pastries in square form.

Do you still make banana cream tarts? I don't see it on the menu in your website.

I just bought one today

Is there outside seating?

I believe there are tables for public seating outside along the other businesses of Harvard Ave! None that are directly outside of the bakery though.

There is no seating for the bakery, but it is easy to find a place to sit and eat along the same street and area!

Yes cookies

Do they have any gluten friendly breads or pastries?

I know they have vegan chocolate chip cookies and they are my favorite.

When they sell out of things they close early.

Some Crust on the Claremont Village is still my go-to place for specialty cakes…read more I ordered a 65th birthday cake for my coworker a week ago Tuesday in person. Devin helped me to fill out the order form. It's a 9 inch round black and white cake, with raspberry jam filling and buttercream frosting. My coworker is stylish and always has her hair makeup and nails perfect so I thought elegant with pink and white roses. (The gold Happy Birthday candle I added for 3D effect and was not included.) I scheduled for 7 a.m. pickup today. There was the usual morning rush at the bakery but I was still in and out of there within 15 minutes. It turned out great!! My coworker was super happy and as always the cake itself is moist and delicious, not overly sweet. Well done, Some Crust, and thank you!

We had the absolute BEST experience with Some Crust Bakery for our wedding cake and desserts…read more Everyone we worked with was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they truly LISTENED to what we wanted. They sent us several mock-ups with colors and design styles throughout the process so we could see and approve of every little detail. We did two rounds of tastings (one at the shop and another at home) and coordinating the second round to finalize our flavors was super easy. Also, they coordinated directly with our florist to incorporate live flowers that perfectly matched the butter cream florals on the cake and the flowers on my dress. Another bakery (Cucamonga Cakery... yikes) told us this would be impossible and tried to make us feel dumb for wanting it. Some Crust made it happen EASILY. They brought our vision to life and the cake was seriously stunning! And the taste is so light and fresh! Special shoutout to Gabrielle for her quick responses, positive attitude, and overall amazing service throughout the entire process. She took care of us every step of the way. Thank you!!

Based on the photos on the app and social media, I was expecting a big, thick, puffy bakery-style cookie. Instead, the cookie I received was pretty flat, thin, and only about 3 1/2 inches across. That said, once I took a bite, I was genuinely impressed. The cookie was gooey, rich, and packed with great chocolate flavor. It definitely tasted much better than it looked. One thing that was frustrating was the promotion they were advertising. There was a huge flashing sign saying you could get a free cookie if you joined the membership club, but the QR code was so tiny that my phone couldn't scan it. The code only flashed on the screen for a couple of seconds every several minutes, and it honestly didn't seem to work very well. In the end, I paid the $3.95 for my cookie and went on my way. While the presentation and promotion were disappointing, I do have to admit -- the cookie itself tasted really good. Sir was really cute. It was very small in the plaza in Claremont.
