Chicken Fajita Omelette

Confused why this location has so many good reviews when the food was so bland?! The portion sizes are pretty generous though, so I'll give them that. The menu is also huge, so there's definitely something for everyone, and the staff were really friendly too.

Rib 12 oz Ribeye

This cozy little diner was exactly the comfort food experience we were hoping for! Everything tasted fresh, homemade, and made with so much care. I ordered the chicken fried steak with country gravy, and it was absolutely amazing! The gravy tasted homemade, the chicken fried steak was perfectly cooked, and the mashed potatoes... OMG, they were my favorite part of the meal! Creamy, flavorful, and pure comfort food. The rice pilaf was also excellent and paired perfectly with everything. My husband ordered the ribeye and loved every single bite. It was cooked just right and full of flavor. To top it all off, our waitress was so friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. Great food, cozy atmosphere, and wonderful service--we'll definitely be back!

The chilaquiles

My parents and I came here to try out this restaurant on a random Tuesday. The menu was full of good items. It took a while to choose, but I got the chilaquiles. The service was very good. Our server was Berlin, and she was very kind and attentive to our table. My mom got the pecan pumpkin pancakes, which were amazing. We'll definitely be coming back

Caramel Latte

I was not a fan of this place. I'm surprised it has numerous high ratings, when I felt as if it could have been better. Parking is a bit horrific with the construction going on. There's only two entry points to the restaurant, and the roads could be fixed. The parking is located in the back of the restaurant. I had come in with colleagues to get breakfast here. All four of us had decided to order their Good Morning Burrito which came with your choice of a side, pico de gallo, and sour cream. My choice of side was their hash browns. I had also ordered a caramel latte to go with my meal. When the food came out, I was fairly excited to eat. Yet, within my first bite of the hash browns, I was immediately disappointed. It tasted like crunchy nothing. There wasn't any seasoning on their hash browns, so I had to douse it in ketchup, salt, and pepper. I then took a bite out of my burrito, and this time I was surprised; the burrito was extremely bland. No seasoning or flavor. Not even a pinch of salt. When I used the green sauce and sour cream with it, it didn't make my burrito any better. My meal was lackluster and disappointing. The latte also wasn't the best; I couldn't taste the coffee in it. I don't think I'd come back to this restaurant. The servers were sweet, but inconsistent with their billing and weren't consistent with how they talked to us and gotten our orders. Their food wasn't good and it's a bit difficult to park here. The interior was also lacking, but I can assume this place is just a regular, long term, local restaurant that has become a part of the neighborhood's routine.

Country Omelette

The steak and eggs were cooked to perfection with rich flavor and gorgeous grill marks, paired alongside fluffy eggs, seasoned potatoes, thick sourdough toast, and a beautifully fresh Southwest omelet topped with guacamole and pico de gallo.

Brioche Breakfast Sandwich, Buffalo Chicken Sandwich, cream cheese Stuffed Pancakes, Huevos Con Longaniza

100% recommend the huevos con longaniza and the stuffed pancakes over anything. Both were incredible!! My breakfast sandwich was good, was just a bit dry. Everything on the menu sounded great, would definitely come back to try other things.

Chicken Fried Steak ($18.25)

Have been here twice now and both times our server was Mayneth, who was great. The food was mostly good and they have a large menu with a variety of options so there is something for everyone. The only issues with the food was the hash browns, which were completely unseasoned and not fully cooked. Also, the lobster omelette is tasty but you won't find much lobster in it. Prices are typical prices, but their portions are very generous compared to the price. I also like how large the dining area is and that there is decent space between tables. Not cramped like a lot of breakfast spots, which made it a more pleasant experience. Food: 4/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 5/5

Classic Breakfast

Really big servings and great service! Letty was quick and efficient. Very clean and seated quickly. We ordered the Lemon pancakes, the Classic Breakfast, the Biscuits and Gravy breakfast and coffee and iced tea. The food was delicious and freshly made. Did I say that the servings were huge. Very tasty and good five stars

Food was delicious and our waitress was extremely friendly the menu is big so we will def have to come back and try more items !

Omelette with hashbrown

Stopped by for brunch on a weekday. Was thankfully able to park easily. The inside is spacious and cozy. Service was attentive and great. Originally, got an omelette with hash browns and their famous lemon ricotta pancakes. Portions are large and omelette was delicious. Personally, I didn't like the pancakes because they were super mushy (apparently the batter has ricotta which causes that texture.) However, they were so accommodating and swapped it for the regular blueberry pancakes, which were amazing. Will definitely be back!

Chicken & Waffle Benedict (6am-3pm)

Came in for breakfast with two friends and was greeted by staff that seemed happy to be there. We were seated quickly even though it was busy. We ordered a strawberry lemonade, regular lemonade, and iced tea. The strawberry lemonade was pretty good, they use fresh strawberries and lemonade. Their lemonade and iced tea were solid, nothing that jumped out at us but not bad. I saw a mango refresher that I think I'll try next time. We ordered chilaquiles, a brioche breakfast sandwich with country potatoes, and a chicken and waffle benedict with hashbrowns. We thoroughly enjoyed the country potatoes that came with the breakfast sandwich. The sandwich was also quite delicious. The chilaquiles were great and definitely worth a try if you like that kind of food. It comes with your choice of carne asada or chicken and a plate of rice and beans. The chicken and waffles benedict was phenomenal. The eggs were perfectly poached and the chicken and waffles was crispy and tasty. The hashbrowns were pretty good, nothing special. The interior is nice and the place is lively with music playing in the background. Service was great and prices are pretty good too. I would recommend this place 100%!!

AMAZING FOOD AND SERVICE!! Loved the vibe great music. The ambiance feels like a diner out of a movie

Steak and eggs- by the time I remembered to take a pic I had eaten half. It was good.
Blenthony M.

Came here for a work breakfast. They had a large table ready for our large party. Service was attentive and excellent for the occasion. I didn't need to ask for my water to be refilled. They just did it. Same with others who had coffee. They just kept it coming which was nice. We all ordered and the food came out pretty quick. I had steak and eggs and it was pretty tasty. Everyone in our group was pretty happy with their food except for the omelettes. The 2 who ordered that wasn't impressed. They have a private parking lot so plenty of space. The extra bonus was despite having a large party they did separate checks for everyone without any complaints! I would definitely come back.

Food came nice and hot. Forgot to put blueberries in the top pancake which is fine but the pancakes were still doughy/undercooked.

I enjoyed my simple pizza, but the fresh Caesar salad with grated Parmesan and housemade croutons was my favorite. The sourdough French toast topped with apple compote was also amazing! I understand that may not have been our waitress's decision, but it would have been nice if she had at least checked. We also brought a small birthday cake and were told there was a $25 fee, even if we cut and served it ourselves, which seemed a little excessive. The fries were very dry inside, and the chicken was dry as well. It just wasn't the experience we were hoping for, especially since we were there celebrating a birthday

I did not add any seasoning as I truly enjoyed the natural flavoring of the young vegetables. The carrots were mildly sweet, roasted pine nuts were earthy, cherry tomatoes, and sautéed in extra virgin olive oil. It was drizzled with vegan pesto, topped with fresh basil, and as mentioned earlier the pasta was gluten free. Overall, I truly enjoyed the experience and my meal. The city of Claremont is charming and every turn a surprise. I stand by my statement that this city has a way of collecting individuals-- as people who stop by end up staying. We were fine with it, and were given two menus and told to sit anywhere we wanted. After 15 minutes, no servers had come out to take drink orders or anything, so my boyfriend went inside to ask if someone could come take our order. I looked around the patio area and realized there were two other tables whose patrons were there before us, waiting for drinks and service, just like we were. One of them was fanning herself with the menu, as it was close to 100° outside. (There are no misters on the patio, just a slight breeze now and then. And, if you sit near the patio entrance, you should know that the huge dryer vents from the adjacent hotel are pushing hot air into the patio.) My boyfriend came back and said that he was told "someone will be out soon", and he noticed that all the servers were watching the soccer game inside.
