Came here after seeing an advertisement on Instagram and decided to give it a try. The restaurant is well decorated and has a welcoming atmosphere. I also appreciated that the market pricing is clearly displayed on the wall so customers know exactly what to expect. Our group ordered a pound of shrimp each. Since we came on a Sunday afternoon, the wait was a bit longer than expected. That said, I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt since they haven't been open for very long and are likely still working through the process of a new business. While waiting for our shrimp, our fries came out first. Although I thought the portion was a little small for the price, they were crispy and well-seasoned. The shrimp was decent, not the best I've had, but not the worst. I do wish the shrimp itself had been a little higher quality, but the seasoning was flavorful. As we were leaving, the restaurant started getting much busier, which is a good sign. However, it also seemed like they were a bit understaffed. We had to wait a while to receive our check and then again for it to be picked up. Overall, I think this restaurant has a lot of potential. The atmosphere and seasoning were definitely highlights, and with a little improvement in service and shrimp quality, I'd be happy to come back and give them another try.

Saw this place as we were driving by. Decided to give it a try! We ordered our food to go. We got the wings and fries. We also ordered the bag of shrimp a side of rice and corn. My wings were okay, they only gave me 5 wings and a small amount of fries. I was expecting at least 8 wings so I was a little surprised there. We didnt like the shrimp too much not enough seasoning I don know if it was the seasoning that was in the bag but I was just okay. The corn as well. We didnt even fully finish it. The customer service was good the staff was very friendly and cool, but unfortunately I couldnt finish the food. I may give this place a second chance down the line.

Personally I had a great dining experience here and found the food to be great! Came in on a Sunday night around 8p and it was moderately busy. I had been craving clam chowder and ended up getting a pound of shrimp with potatoes and corn, and a side of rice. I chose the sauce that was recommended by waitress as the favorite sauce. Medium hot, I didn't want anything too spicy. I was pleasantly surprised at the clam chowder and loved the bread bowl option. In my opinion good clam chowder is hard to find around here so I was very happy with it. The Cajun butter garlic seasoning was perfect and so juicy and flavorful. The rice is a must to eat with the sauce. Overall one of my most enjoyable meals this summer.

Shrimp & potato with the crab n spice sauce "spicy"

We got a pound of shrimp each both spicy n it wasn't spicy at all. Not one thing of spice, had enough seasoning n enough sauce but no heat. Which for me n my hgrl was a bummer cuz we love some heat. The Cajun fries were really good n well done. The service was good they were really nice n attentive. The space was clean with good amount of seating for how small the place is. We would personally not go back but at least we tried it.

Service was lovely, and the owners/staff were super friendly. Attended their grand opening, and they had tons of entertainment (DJ, live musicians, belly dancers, balloon artists). The food was good but quite rich. Next time I'll have to try the boil. Fish was fresh (for the fish and chips), and the Cajun pasta was tasty but a bit greasy.

We stopped by for lunch on a weekend and tried the Castaway Seafood Boil loaded with lobster tails, shrimp, mussels, snow crab, corn, and potatoes, plus the crab meat fries, creamy Cajun pasta with sausage and shrimp, and warm Nutella-filled beignets to finish it all off. The food was good, service was fast, but the music played the same 5 songs over and over again. Anyhow, I think they have an AYCE menu during the weekday but only menu items available on weekends.

Came to this place based on a TikTok review. Well I was outside so I let debris in front of the business. Inside is very clean however empty staff was friendly. Ordered a pound of shrimp, cajun fries, and a bowl of clam chowder. Food was mediocre. I've definitely tried better than this. I won't be coming back.

One of the workers or owners. smoking in front of entrance and walking around inside restaurant with cigarette in mouth.

I ordered Po'Boy shrimp sandwich and it was tasteless and made me feel really sick after I ate it. Bread was stale. Barely any shrimp. Service was good but the owners of the establishment kept smoking out in-front of the entrance with people and kids outside and you could smell cigarette while you eat. Place was clean and was on top of cleaning up and picking trash. Overall I would not come back to this place there's better seafood boil and not so expensive.

Let's start off by saying the Armando (Manger) thought it was fun and games when I mentioned the shrimp was mushy and couldn't be peeled. He replaces after I ask. He never offered. I get it again mushy but with very little bit of sauce, I asked the manager for an extra sauce. mind you he took my order they bring me back the spicy sauce. I burn my mouth. I inform Manager and he just smiles. NEVER AGAIN

food was so delicious it had so much flavor. the service was fast and organized. they attended all my demande. highly recommend

The gumbo was easily the star of the meal. The sauce itself was incredibly rich, deeply savory, and immediately reminded me of the food I've had in New Orleans. I honestly don't have an elaborate critique of it. It was simply delicious. My only thought was that I wanted even more seafood in every spoonful, so next time I'm adding extra crab or shrimp. I wasn't sure what to expect from the frog legs, but they ended up being one of my favorite dishes. The batter was light and crispy, while the meat was delicate and mild, somewhere between chicken and fish, without much gaminess. I could have easily eaten an entire plate of them. We finished the meal with the croissant beignets and bread pudding. The beignets were crisp, dusted with powdered sugar, and served with a berry purée that balanced the sweetness nicely. As good as they were, the bread pudding blew them away for me. The warm bread pudding with bourbon sauce, ice cream, and strawberries was easily my favorite dessert of the night. Our waiter also overheard that it was my birthday and surprised me with complimentary ice cream, which was a thoughtful touch. Probably the best compliment I can give The Quarter is this. I'm willing to drive an hour to Claremont on a Saturday night, hunt for parking, and deal with the crowds of college kids just to come back for another bowl of that gumbo.

Our usual order is 1lb of shrimp and 1lb of mussels, and we've always been happy with it. This time, we decided to try the Combo #2 because we wanted to add crab legs. We ordered three combo bags, each with shrimp, mussels, and crab legs. Unfortunately, it didn't feel like there was anywhere close to 1lb each of shrimp and mussels in the bags. I can't prove it, so I can only share our experience, but it honestly felt like there were fewer than 15 shrimp in the bag. For the first time ever, we finished our meal and were still hungry afterward. Based on this experience, I wouldn't recommend ordering the combo bag. Not only did it seem like there was significantly less food, but with all the ingredients piled together, some items ended up overcooked. We were really disappointed because we've had consistently good experiences with multiple locations here over the years. Hopefully this was just an off day, but we'll be sticking with ordering the seafood separately next time.

Savory and delicious but to me the medium heat level tasted spicy to our family. Not a knock or ding whatsoever. Just something to keep in mind. We got fried calamari and breaded catfish. They provided us menus, pretty straightforward; choose seafood, add sides for an extra cost, choose the flavor, and the spice level. One thing not noted on the menu is that shrimp isn't peeled, but they can peel them for an extra $6. And each order comes in pound increments. No half a pound offered. Your table is also covered with paper so you can eat the seafood boil from there. They provide bibs and gloves for no charge. Ultimately, we enjoyed our meals. Everything was flavorful and, unlike some other seafood boil spots, it didn't leave us feeling like we had heartburn afterward. There's a little sink for you to clean your hands at, which is nice since you dont have to wait for the restroom to empty. The service is what was a bit off. Like we asked for 3 Cajun fry boats but only received 2. Drinks were mixed up, and the clam chowder didn't arrive until about 20 minutes after our seafood bags had already been delivered. If you want ranch for your fries, they charge 60 cents for a small container. For drink refills, they bring a pitcher, but it's the kind typically used for measuring ounces. The server also tended to reach across one end of the table to grab empty cups or pass out food. Since I was seated at the end, it felt awkward having to help pass things down, especially since there were other access points to reach people in our party. We left around 920pm. I only mention it because we were the last group there, and we all noticed the heater seemed to have been turned on. Restaurant sign says open til 10pm on Sat. but we saw them turn off their open sign when we went outside. Needless to say, service could have been better.

Hey Jackson, Instead…read moreof giving me an imaginary prize for being relentless, I would much rather appreciate your business taking accountability for the really poor service I had to experience in order to get a basic refund as a result of a mistake that was clearly from your restaurant. I can definitely be more upfront about my dietary needs moving forward when ordering, but even your employee admitted over the phone that chicken is not automatically part of the item that I ordered. If your staff wanted to add chicken to an item that should be seafood only, perhaps they should have asked if I was okay with that. After communicating with your employee about my concerns, I realized that the mistake on the food was secondary compared to the horrendous service I experienced when I shared my concerns. In your reply, you failed to mention anything regarding customer service that I mentioned, so let me say these facts again. I was hung up on several times over the phone, ignored multiple times when I showed up in person the next day, pressured to sign a claims release in order to get the refund, then was told I was an inconvenience to your business. Another fact is I lost my appetite after tasting your food yet was essentially called a liar when I came in the next day because I didn't appear sick to your employee. I cannot believe that is how your employee was allowed to treat a customer and I honestly hope you had a serious conversation with them. For the record, I was signed out of my main account for several months and did leave a review on a temporary account. Once I gained access to my main account, the review on my temporary account got deleted because that account got deleted. I operate on only one account and needed to re-write any reviews that got deleted. Looks like someone reported my review for your business, so I did revise it to better follow yelp's guidelines. Therefore, it is absolutely not an exact duplicate of the previous review. The real impact here is not only the loss of appetite, but also how I was treated after I raised concerns. It really was one of the most horrendous experience with restaurant staff. I will never again feel comfortable stepping inside your restaurant that is careless enough to scoop an item that was already made with chicken in it instead of making a fresh one with only seafood then try to pressure a customer to sign a claims release to protect yourselves. Nice try, but I'm not falling for that and neither should anyone else.

HOUSE PAN ROAST It tasted exactly what was expected. A creamy tomato soup consistency and flavor. Got level 2 or 3 for spice level. I wanted more of that creamy flavor, not spice. Any higher than 3 would be Tabasco level spice and up. Deliciously filled with shrimp, chopped scallops, small crab meat. I could taste the crab meat, which was all sitting at the bottom of the bowl. The scoop of jasmine rice with the creamy pan roast was comfort on another level. Got the small size, but it is enough for me. I do wish there were more shrimp and scallops and crab in the pan roast. I felt the scallops and crab were chopped too small and wished there was a bit more. But still I enjoyed the pan roast and would get it again. As an appetizer and accompaniment to the house pan roast, they bring a basket with three sliced breads and a side of butter. It's a light, soft bread with a bit of sour flavor. Didn't like it. I would have preferred dinner rolls. CUSTOMER SERVICE I arrived 1 hr before lunch closing time. It closes at 2:00pm and then re-opens for dinner at 5:00pm. But service was good! Only one server, but she checked back with everyone and all around better than most places I've been at recently. Lots of people came in 30-40 mins before closing time. Still, service was friendly and they weren't turned away. LOCATION At The Commons at Chino Hills. This is a large outdoor mall and have many parking spaces.
