We stopped in for dinner the other night. There is plenty of parking available. The restaurant itself is small but charming. Love the artwork in the building. We started off with several appetizers. The golden onion rings, the delicious Cajun fries and the yummy fried green beans were all great. The best one was the crab fries. Don't miss out on those! The Captain's Chowder in a sourdough bread bowl was next. I love clam chowder but I will always get the Captain's Chowder from now on. I love the tomato base and the sausage. So warm and comforting. The seafood boil was next. We got corn, potatoes, shrimp, crawdads and clams in one pan. The lobster and snow crab clusters were in the other pan. Everything was so good and fresh! The crab legs were my favorite! If you still have room, then you have to get the chocolate beignets. Made fresh and have a light crispy top and doughy middle. So good and the perfect way to end the meal. Also, the service here was absolutely amazing and stopped by to check on everyone in the restaurant. Wayyyyyy overpriced and overhyped for what it is. Spent way too much and the service was terrible. So disorganized. Walked in, took so long to take my order. Employees trying to figure out what table is getting what and just all over the place. Once the server came, they only had Diet Pepsi and no other diet drinks so I had to get water. The rice was a small side, didn't even fill up the entire container, it wasn't that great. I ordered just two items: shrimp and crab. Shrimp was probably not the whole pound and two pieces of crab for over $50. The menu said you get one which is all I wanted but instead they gave me two to just charge me more. Really? Didnt give me utensils to open up the seafood. The music was extremely loud you had to yell over to take your order. Took so long to bring my check and a to go box. Ridiculous overall. Not coming back EVER. Also what's up with the multiple google reviews giving 5 stars from their own employees and not actual customers? I can see their photos and it's literally one of the guys that was there that day working lol And there's repeated 5 star reviews from the same people. Come on now. If you are going to those lengths to conceal how overpriced you are and the service, that worries me even more. I'm definitely questioning your work ethic and integrity now. Came here after seeing an advertisement on Instagram and decided to give it a try. The restaurant is well decorated and has a welcoming atmosphere. I also appreciated that the market pricing is clearly displayed on the wall so customers know exactly what to expect. Our group ordered a pound of shrimp each. Since we came on a Sunday afternoon, the wait was a bit longer than expected. That said, I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt since they haven't been open for very long and are likely still working through the process of a new business. While waiting for our shrimp, our fries came out first. Although I thought the portion was a little small for the price, they were crispy and well-seasoned. The shrimp was decent, not the best I've had, but not the worst. I do wish the shrimp itself had been a little higher quality, but the seasoning was flavorful. As we were leaving, the restaurant started getting much busier, which is a good sign. However, it also seemed like they were a bit understaffed. We had to wait a while to receive our check and then again for it to be picked up. Overall, I think this restaurant has a lot of potential. The atmosphere and seasoning were definitely highlights, and with a little improvement in service and shrimp quality, I'd be happy to come back and give them another try. read more

Saw this place as we were driving by. Decided to give it a try! We ordered our food to go. We got the wings and fries. We also ordered the bag of shrimp a side of rice and corn. My wings were okay, they only gave me 5 wings and a small amount of fries. I was expecting at least 8 wings so I was a little surprised there. We didnt like the shrimp too much not enough seasoning I don know if it was the seasoning that was in the bag but I was just okay. The corn as well. We didnt even fully finish it. The customer service was good the staff was very friendly and cool, but unfortunately I couldnt finish the food. I may give this place a second chance down the line. read more

Personally I had a great dining experience here and found the food to be great! Came in on a Sunday night around 8p and it was moderately busy. I had been craving clam chowder and ended up getting a pound of shrimp with potatoes and corn, and a side of rice. I chose the sauce that was recommended by waitress as the favorite sauce. Medium hot, I didn't want anything too spicy. I was pleasantly surprised at the clam chowder and loved the bread bowl option. In my opinion good clam chowder is hard to find around here so I was very happy with it. The Cajun butter garlic seasoning was perfect and so juicy and flavorful. We got a pound of shrimp each both spicy n it wasn't spicy at all. Not one thing of spice, had enough seasoning n enough sauce but no heat. Which for me n my hgrl was a bummer cuz we love some heat. The Cajun fries were really good n well done. The service was good they were really nice n attentive. The space was clean with good amount of seating for how small the place is. You can order your food at the kiosk by the front door, at the counter, or even at the table. Jennifer gave great service! The business is only its 2nd day in as the soft opening started yesterday 7/22/26. The place was clean inside and outside. Their fountain drink machine was being worked on so I did purchase a can of Pepsi and she brought a cup of ice and a water bottle to me as well. I ordered 3 items...Cup of clam chowder soup, garlic noodles, and fried string beans. All 3 items were so good! I loved the amount of garlic taste in the noodles, the more garlic the better! DO NOT COME HERE!!! This place was honestly a complete mess from the moment we walked in. The music was EXTREMELY loud and overstimulating, to the point where we literally couldn't even sit and have a conversation with one another. The prices were also SUPER overpriced for the experience we received. The service was absolutely ridiculous. They sat us down right away, but then no one came over to even take our drink order. We were just sitting there looking around, waiting and wondering if someone was going to come help us. It wasn't just our table either the entire place looked extremely unorganized. Everyone seemed to be standing around, waiting around, or just looking around like they didn't know what they were supposed to be doing. There was no sense of urgency or attentiveness whatsoever. At one point, I literally saw an employee leaning on the counter with his head resting in his hand. It just looked incredibly unprofessional and careless. The entire atmosphere felt chaotic & disorganized. After sitting there waiting and realizing we weren't even going to be helped, we decided to leave. As we were getting up, the waitress finally came over and asked why we were leaving. We simply told her we were going to go somewhere else. Her response was: "Yeah, it's because we don't have all-you-can-eat here." UM... EXCUSE ME??? WHO SAID ANYTHING ABOUT ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT?! We never asked for all-you-can-eat, never mentioned it, and never even implied that was what we were looking for. All we said was that we were going to go somewhere else. she couldn't even ask what we wanted to drink but was able to come at us for getting up and walking out. For her to immediately make that comment was completely unnecessary and honestly very uncomfortable. It felt like she was insinuating something about us based on our appearance, which I found extremely inappropriate. Regardless of what she meant by it, that is not how you speak to customers. Instead of asking what went wrong or apologizing that no one had come to our table, she made an unnecessary and condescending comment. Overall, the entire experience was unprofessional, disorganized, overpriced, and uncomfortable. But I have to say, our food came out warm enough but not hot enough to last the whole meal, where the butter/oil and seasoning was already solidified mid way through eating. Service was okay. First time ever going here and it is unprofessional. We got there at 8:45pm and were turned around out loud by the workers who were just standing behind the counter laughing and talking saying that they are closed when closing says 10pm and the open sign was nice and lit up. There were ppl in there who have clearly just received their food and were waiting for their food still so don't understand why we were told they were closed. Another location closed at the same time and we were able to sit there instead no problem. My husband and I went to Crab and Spice in Clermont, and everything was excellent! The seafood was delicious, the service was outstanding, and the prices were very reasonable. 24 dollar pound of shrimp after taxes was ridiculous. Over priced . Went in Monday afternoon there was very loud drilling in front of my table . Place was not decorated yet i guess . Giy was drilling and drinking beer on the job . Not professional at all . The noise was very disturbing i could not enjoy my meal. I will not be coming back . Horrible experience !!!
