Hubby took me here for my bday before I get into the ambience...let me first jump into the food!! -Cucumber Salad in Chili Sauce: the first batch was DELICIOUS but helllllla spicy, hubby loved but I couldn't eat it...so they made another cucumber salad with NO spice and LOADS of flavor so we were both happy! -Original Popcorn Chicken, so juicy crispy and flavorful -Crispy Fried & Stir Fry live crab: they literally brought the 1.9 lb live crab out for me to approve before cooking and the dry garlic flavor was sooo goood and there was a lot of crab would order again and try a new flavor -House Special Crispy Pork Spare Ribs: selected the dry garlic flavor so it came out with the crab (pork rib is in crab pic) and the pork rib was tender and crispy and I would definitely order again -Pork Intestines skewer: ordered these on a dare (I never back down from a challenge) and they tasted just like delicious fried chittlins Now back to the ambience...when we got there, they had just opened and so we felt like we had the whole place to ourselves and a private chef to boot! As you can see from list, we ordered so much delicious food and it's days later and we're still eating left overs. *Posted the review and forgot to mention the LOBSTER ROLLS!! We ordered the half lobster meat and half crab meat...chef's kiss! read more

I don't super recommend the plain garlic flavor. It's kind of dull and one note but if you love garlic, there's a shi ton of garlic in this boil. Crawfish looked huge but it's all in their head Cucumbers 10/10 - flavor was amazingggg. It's not too spicy for those who can barely tolerate spice but really good flavor Place is kind of small but no wait at all. Ambiance is like one of those seafood boil spots. Service was good. read more

Loved this place. Nikki was amazing. The best service I've had in a long time. I got the lobster now small bag. Lobster tail, split eat of corn and a 1/2 lb. of white heads-on shrimp. I got it Chinese spicy; one notch down from the spiciest they'd make. And rice, and mango saki. Yes it was super spicy hot. YES!!! The broth was so good, after I ran out of food I continued to eat the broth with a spoon. It was delicious. Think crab boil. They lay out paper on the table and give you bib and gloves. Go ahead, make a mess. I'll be back. read more

I love this place and the people who work here. Seems like a small cool family or friends. Small eating area, foreign tv station, quiet except for the conversations being had and the questions asked. Very humble, food full of flavor almost any way you like and if you ask for something they think won't fare well, they definitely will let you know. Lamb and beef skewers spicy is my go to, the crab was just a must have for the day. read more

We came here on Sunday and the vibe is very chill, we immediately notice the turtle at the register, his name is 王大嘴......哈哈，anyways, the lady with short hair she's the most friendly Chinese person and she recommended the grilled oysters, they are so bomb! We will come back for the oysters and lobster roll!! Highly recommended, my folks!! read more

Here for Lobsters and Blue Crab. Lobster Now restaurant is located in Pomona. The restaurant is very small with few tables and chairs. It is recommended that you take out the order. Ordered: Lobster Meat Pasta Blue Crab with Tiger Shrimp in Cajun Juice Lobster Tail with Shrimps and Corn in Signature Sauce All the dishes were amazing, delicious, and very flavorful. Staff were friendly and helpful in selecting the items. We will definitely come back to try other dishes. read more

I got the 1 lb bag of crab legs and shrimp. It was very tasty. They are around the average price, but the shrimp were huge. It was worth it

Found this restaurant on TikTok and had to give it a try. Our server Nikki was absolutely amazing, attentive, informative and considerate, giving us extra spices for the heat we wanted. The food was spectacular and we were so for the portion sizes (our oysters were huge). We walked in thinking we were going to have leftovers and ended leaving nothing behind. 10/10 will eat here again read more

We got food to go and I am very happy to report that the food is just as good eaten at home as it is ordered in the restaurant. These guys are experts at what they do. The seafood boil is sooo good. They pack it so carefully with aluminum and plastic to prevent spillage in transit. These are some thoughtful, proactive people here. This place is worth slogging through traffic for. That's saying a lot! read more

I had the crab/lobester roll with fries combo. It was okay but very salty. I'm not sure if I would try their food again.

Fresh seafood cooked to order. From raw oysters to skewers, and the crab seafood casserole, every dish is delicious. Finger licking good Very friendly service from the owners. You will feel like eating in a seaside village with the whimsical decor. read more

Although the restaurant is a bit small, it is obvious that the owners took a lot time in designing and decorating the place. The service was excellent! The waitress took her time in recommending dishes and explaining everything to us. She even offered us menu in both Chinese and English and asked if we prefer Asian spice or western spice. The food is a bit pricier considering the small portion they have, but they are freshly made. The lobsters we had were so sweet and fresh. They used good ingredients for all of their dishes. read more

Ordered take out from here recently and was really impressed! Coming from SGV, I am picky about my Chinese food, but I was really impressed. Everything was well seasoned and authentic. The portions are also quite generous. The service was what really stood out. Even though I only came in to pick up my order, the wait staff was so nice and offered me a seat until my food was ready. The restaurant is small but well decorated and comfortable. I will definitely be back. read more

The food is very good! There is a lot of variety and you can choose how spicy you want your food to be. I personally don't like my food too spicy and there was an option for no spice or little spice! We got the beef and pork skewers, cheese sticks, potato sticks, and garlic chicken wings. I would recommend the wings! The service is also really nice as she was super attentive and also recommend us things. The place is decorated really well and it gave me a welcoming ambiance. The seating area is pretty small but there are still many tables. Overall I would recommend this place and come back! read more

The place is small, cozy nice. Love the spot. Was recommended. Their food is really a mix of everything. So I have tried most of the kinds. They cook a bit slow, but I think was worth it. Walnuts shrimp, fried rice was great. Their bbq strew was good too. Order a combo. Was the house sauce. Was really good, diff from other restaurants. It's unique. I had the lobster pasta. Maybe this was wasn't for me. It's more Westen favor and I expected more a little Asian kick. Over all the experience is great. Price is right. I sure be going back again! read more

I'm torn on rating Lobster Now with a 4- or 5-star. I went to this restaurant for RIBS! Yes, ribs. I read several reviews saying how good their Asian-style ribs are, so I decided to try. The restaurant is not large, with minimal seating, but I was met by a very gregarious counter girl who helped me place my order. The ribs are deep fried and spicy. They were meaty and delicious! I wiil be back again. I also ordered a plate of 5 skewersof smallbite lamb meat. They were tasty, but otherwise unremarkable. I think that when I return, I will order some seafood items in order to get a better picture of the house offerings. As an aside, I loved the "steampunk" decor. read more

The service is so EXCEPTIONAL and the quality of the food is AMAZING! I stopped by with my sister to try it out and as soon as we walked in we were greeted and it smelled so good inside! I'm assuming it's a family owned business but, nonetheless everyone inside is very kind and friendly! If you're looking for a great lobster place nearby and want quality service, COME HERE ASAP! I'll be back regularly for my daily dose of lobster :) read more

I decided to come here for their seafood. I got the lobster roll with fries. The lobster rolls were good a bit on the dry side. The French fries were also dry, they were not fresh. I also got the lobster tail dish, Asian style which was great, the only issue was they gave a small portion of rice when the lobster tail dish was able to serve 4 people. 1 person ate all the rice. I met Nikki the owner who was nice and had great customer service. She brought me lemon water while waiting for my order which was refreshing. The ambiance is okay as the place is a bit small. Overall I will come back again. I will make sure that I get fresh French fries and more rice. read more

Lobster Now has good customer service and even better food. The waitress was super helpful, very attentive and made sure to make recommendations on the food. We ordered the shrimp fried rice and the special pork ribs. I like spicy food and she made a good suggestion on the spice level of the fried rice. She also suggested to get the spicy flavor ribs and they hit the spot. Both tasted fresh and hot, definitely made to order which she mentioned. You could see the seasoning and flavor on the dishes and it really was true when tasting. Highly recommend and definitely will be going back to try the seafood and the skewers! read more

If you are craving for seafood, spicy, and authentic Chinese dessert, this is a MUST try for you! The lobster tail in my spicy platter is so fresh and tender! Everything is ordered and then made fresh so you do need to be a bit more patient if the restaurant is full as there is only one server taking care of the front. A+ service for today's waitress who is so energetic, polite and friendly! Another outstanding characteristic of this restaurant is that they are very clean! No crazy loud music so I could really enjoy chatting with my friends. Overall, this will be my new place for spicy seafood dish and lobster roll whenever I feel like needing some seafood to make my day :) read more

New lady but same outstanding service. This one is even friendlier and so endearing. After a couple visits, I felt the need to finally get lobster for the first time. We ordered dry cajun chicken wings, garlic fried shrimp, lobster and crab roll and the lobster now combo. EVERYTHING WAS DELISHHH. They get it right every time. Only negative I can say is that the shrimp could have been crispier like the last few times but it was still garlicious and yummy. I personally love that the lemon water is self serve and there's also seasonings/condiments, napkins and extra utensils to grab. For those that get hangry, the entrees take a wee bit long but it's so worth it for their fresh and piping hot food. read more

Came here for lunch on a Sat based on a Yelp review cuz we were in the area. Tiny place but huge on flavor! We ordered the small lobster combo with garlic butter, the fried chicken wings with dry garlic & the green beans with pork and (u guessed it) garlic! I only posted the lobster combo cuz my hubby started on the green beans & wings b4 I could take a pic (lol). As u can probably tell, I LOVE garlic & this did not disappoint! The lobster & shrimp combo was soft & flavorful. The green beans & wings were super crunchy. The garlic was plenty but could easily be brushed off if u don't want so much. We ate everything & took home all the leftover garlic topping!!! The lady who served us might have been the owner. We had excellent service. $77 (incl beer & tip) for lunch for 2 was steep, I know... But we had LOBSTER and it was absolutely yum! If you're in the area, I highly recommend Lobster Now. Thank me later. read more

The taste is not bad, but no AC under a hundred degree heat of summer time is unacceptable. Lobster Now has always been my go to place for that strange mix craving for great seafood and grilled meats as well as a pretty wide variety of other things. Really dig the ambiance and design of their shop and the service here has always been top-notch and friendly! We were expecting to be waiting either way and we were so hungry, I guess she could tell and kept reassuring us the food was coming.. needless to say the food was worth the wait!! Had a great experience last night at Lobster Now. I really liked the ambiance here as well, hard to explain but you can tell they put in effort. Service was excellent as well, the lady running the restaurant was helpful and friendly. We ordered the beef skewers which were AMAZING, I could have eaten several orders of those and Braised Chicken Feet, which my wife loved. The Lobster Bags were the perfect size and it turned out to be the perfect amount of food. Can't wait to come back and order different items from their larger than you would think selection of food. read more

I gave a 5-star rating because its service was very friendly and attentive, plus the menu selections were aplenty and diversified. The food isn't quite a 5-star yet, but it's a good 4-star. We had the live crab, which was decent. The fried shrimps were excellent as it was prepared in an old fashion way that Chinese traditionally cooks the crabs. The fried rice was my favorite and it was very good. The service was excellent as mentioned above and the young lady was kind enough to heat my sake. The place was interestingly decorated, but very small. This is a great find for seafood located at the Walmart plaza on the border of Chino Hills and Pomona. read more
