Hubby took me here for my bday before I get into the ambience...let me first jump into the food!! -Cucumber Salad in Chili Sauce: the first batch was DELICIOUS but helllllla spicy, hubby loved but I couldn't eat it...so they made another cucumber salad with NO spice and LOADS of flavor so we were both happy! -Original Popcorn Chicken, so juicy crispy and flavorful -Crispy Fried & Stir Fry live crab: they literally brought the 1.9 lb live crab out for me to approve before cooking and the dry garlic flavor was sooo goood and there was a lot of crab would order again and try a new flavor -House Special Crispy Pork Spare Ribs: selected the dry garlic flavor so it came out with the crab (pork rib is in crab pic) and the pork rib was tender and crispy and I would definitely order again -Pork Intestines skewer: ordered these on a dare (I never back down from a challenge) and they tasted just like delicious fried chittlins Now back to the ambience...when we got there, they had just opened and so we felt like we had the whole place to ourselves and a private chef to boot! I don't super recommend the plain garlic flavor. It's kind of dull and one note but if you love garlic, there's a shi ton of garlic in this boil. Crawfish looked huge but it's all in their head Cucumbers 10/10 - flavor was amazingggg. It's not too spicy for those who can barely tolerate spice but really good flavor Place is kind of small but no wait at all. Ambiance is like one of those seafood boil spots. I love this place and the people who work here. Seems like a small cool family or friends. Small eating area, foreign tv station, quiet except for the conversations being had and the questions asked. Very humble, food full of flavor almost any way you like and if you ask for something they think won't fare well, they definitely will let you know. We got food to go and I am very happy to report that the food is just as good eaten at home as it is ordered in the restaurant. These guys are experts at what they do. The seafood boil is sooo good. Although the restaurant is a bit small, it is obvious that the owners took a lot time in designing and decorating the place. The service was excellent! The waitress took her time in recommending dishes and explaining everything to us. She even offered us menu in both Chinese and English and asked if we prefer Asian spice or western spice. I'm torn on rating Lobster Now with a 4- or 5-star. I went to this restaurant for RIBS! Yes, ribs. I read several reviews saying how good their Asian-style ribs are, so I decided to try. The restaurant is not large, with minimal seating, but I was met by a very gregarious counter girl who helped me place my order. The ribs are deep fried and spicy. They were meaty and delicious! I wiil be back again. I also ordered a plate of 5 skewersof smallbite lamb meat. They were tasty, but otherwise unremarkable. I also got the lobster tail dish, Asian style which was great, the only issue was they gave a small portion of rice when the lobster tail dish was able to serve 4 people. 1 person ate all the rice. I met Nikki the owner who was nice and had great customer service. She brought me lemon water while waiting for my order which was refreshing. The ambiance is okay as the place is a bit small. The lobster & shrimp combo was soft & flavorful. The green beans & wings were super crunchy. The garlic was plenty but could easily be brushed off if u don't want so much. We ate everything & took home all the leftover garlic topping!!! The lady who served us might have been the owner. We had excellent service. $77 (incl beer & tip) for lunch for 2 was steep, I know... Had a great experience last night at Lobster Now. I really liked the ambiance here as well, hard to explain but you can tell they put in effort. Service was excellent as well, the lady running the restaurant was helpful and friendly. I gave a 5-star rating because its service was very friendly and attentive, plus the menu selections were aplenty and diversified. The food isn't quite a 5-star yet, but it's a good 4-star. We had the live crab, which was decent. The fried shrimps were excellent as it was prepared in an old fashion way that Chinese traditionally cooks the crabs. The fried rice was my favorite and it was very good. The service was excellent as mentioned above and the young lady was kind enough to heat my sake.
