I happened to really really really really really did I mention really like this place. The buffet always changes it's never the same old boring stuff. The ladies are very good at getting to your table and delivering your drink order and cleaning the dirty plates off so you can go back and chow out again. They also have a sushi bar here. So if you like sushi this is your place also they have that Mongolian barbecue type thing. You get your noodles and your protein and they cook it up. You can't go wrong and the prices I think are pretty reasonable compared to other places. Lunch time and dinner time have different prices. I never used to come in for dinner but I have come a couple times and I really really like it. You leave satisfied. Especially if you like seafood there's evenings where they have ample supply of seafood. See it's a little bit for everybody. Even the little ones. Hope you get to swing by and give them a try until then bon appetit!

Awww this place is a hit and miss . I come here because my daughter likes their food . Can be a bit hectic at night time on weekends . The price fair for those than can eat more than two plates full. The place can use more detail cleaning . Service is nice and friendly .

We came to Tasty Buffett and Grill to celebrate my dad's birthday with our family and other relatives. We came in around 12:30PM and they open at 11:00AM. For a Saturday, it was not busy as we expected. We were able to sit in the big banquet room as we had a party of 14 people. The buffet itself is huge lots of seating for small parties and the banquet room can probably accommodate 100 people for a large gartering. The staff and service were fine. They take drink orders right away and bust the tables of your plates as needed. The chairs and seats are still the same. They are dated and it's can be feel cramped if the location is full. What's usually tough is moving the chairs because the flooring is carpet. No big deal, either way. As for the selection this Tasty Buffet has an exceptional selection of food for the Weekend menu. It's $24.99 for adults and seniors get a discount. They have decent sushi options with rolls, sashimi and even crab legs. They offer a Mongolian Grill. The hot food selection has something for everyone. Plenty of favorites I enjoy were the grilled white fish, mussels, coconut shrimp and the black pepper beef, cheese wontons. There's a lot of desserts and on the other end they have self serve ice cream. Coming by earlier than later is a good idea since the food is fresh and quality is much better. My family had a great time this past weekend and enjoyed all the food. The staff even came out with a neon sign and played happy birthday over the speakers for my dad. Overall, Tasty Buffet was a good experience and probably one of the better Asian buffets around this area nowadays. ( ^_^)b

I haven't really been going to AYCE buffets lately, but I tried this one out since my daughter was mentioning it. They have an amazing selection of dishes. They had way more selections than I could eat. My favorites were the sushi, the chicken skewers and the beef and broccoli. I additionally liked the variety of soups they had, I tried the egg drop soup which was pretty good. They also have crab legs for dinner. I topped my meal off with a couple scoops of cookies and cream ice cream. Servers were nice and continued to feel our drinks and take away our plates as we finished. The location has plenty of dinning room.

Their food is truly delicious and they offer something for everyone! I love their sushi and chicken. Just the wonderful aroma alone from the food will have you begging for a bite. Their service is okay and usually just for ordering drinks and asking for napkins or utensils. I do fancy their Vegas style buffet ambiance.

My family likes buffet because of the variety aspect for all the different dietary preferences. We came here one weekend for dinner and had a total of 11 people in our party. We had 8 Adults ($22.99/each), 2 Seniors (received 10% off), 1 child (for children between 2-10, $2 times age). There is a 2 hour dining limit, and you have to pay upon seating. I paid when I got there but didn't know how many drinks we wanted so those were paid for in a separate check. They will bring the check RIGHT AWAY. Ohhh and one thing I didn't like. During my transaction, the lady selected 10% tip for me and scribbled a signature on the electronic pad. What the heck?? I would have tipped more than that but it annoyed me so much that she did it. We were seated in this back room at a long table, but I really hated how tighttttt the tables were to the people right behind us. They really squeezed in as many tables and chairs that would fit into that space. I question the capacity legalities. Upon going into the buffet area I didn't see much that I would like to eat at all. And I saw some incorrectly labelled items so I wouldn't trust their labels too much. Their crab legs can be scarce and at first I was told to come back in 10 minutes. I tried to basically get my money's worth on the crabs. It was cold and not that fresh. The butter was room temperature and sus. I ate it mostly cause there was nothing else I wanted to eat. Oh and when we asked the staff for crab crackers, the lady would only give us 2 when there were 4 of us eating crabs. As soon as I finished my plate, she took the crackers away. Ahem, did I say I was done eating? I know they're working hard but I wouldn't say they care much for customer service. We tried it... We know it sucks... We don't need to come back.

I've been here twice, and I think this buffet is really good. Dinner was only $25, so considering all the options, it's reasonably priced. All of the food was pretty good and didn't taste old. I liked how big the crab legs were because a lot of buffets serve skinny crab legs. The sashimi/sushi tasted fairly fresh, and the hibachi had good seasoning. Excellent choice of fruits and pastries. Definitely a good buffet to bring your friends and family.

AYCE Buffets after 4 hours at the gym has been a current weekend "thing" for us. Tasty Buffet and Grill in Pomona is a no frills AYCE Chinese Buffet w hibachi grill. There's plenty of seafood choices, so if you're into seafood, this place is for you. What I found interesting about this buffet was that they had movie theater popcorn, pho, chocolate fountain, scoop-yourself ice cream, and ceviche. Yes, you read that right... CEVICHE, lol!! I didn't try it, but hubby said it was good. Overall, the food was good. Service was average. Price was decent ($23 all day dinner Sat/Sun). Would definitely return when we're in the area.

Tasty buffet is my in-laws go-to place for lunch so here we are. It offers some different items during lunch & dinner. It opens at 11 according to the sign but when we arrived at 11, they were some people already finished eating and on their way out. They have quite a selection. Fried fish was my in-laws favorite, but it is only available during lunch. I started with an American breakfast of ham, eggs and potatoes. Sushi and sashimi were okay. They also have an omelette station, a pho station, and a Mongolian BBQ station, all made to order. My favorite was the grilled fish fillet. It was a whole side of fillet and up to the customer whether to take a large or small piece. It has a salad section that I skipped. I did had a healthy plateful of fruit of melons, pineapple, strawberry & blueberry to goes with sweet soup for dessert. It also has ice cream, chocolate fountain, and pastries in its own section. It is reasonably priced for an AYCE buffet. The posted time limit is 2 hours. That's plenty of time to get and eat whatever you like. It has plenty of parking too. I suspect this place is packed during dinner and on weekends too.

Surprisingly, for a Friday night, the place was dead. Back then, I remember waiting 40 minutes to an hour just to get in. This time? We got seated immediately, and honestly... that already lowered my expectations. The selection was still pretty big with a lot of variety, so I started off with the seafood. It was decent. Nothing amazing, but good enough to satisfy the craving without worrying about food poisoning. The crab legs were ridiculously salty though. The biggest disappointment was the hot food section. I honestly don't understand how fried rice and chow mein can taste that bland. Zero flavor. The orange chicken and beef broccoli were okay, but definitely nothing memorable. They also had steak, though I can't remember which cut it was, but it was dry and overcooked. They also had a seafood boil section, but the shrimp were overcooked and the crawfish definitely didn't taste the freshest. It had that slightly off taste where you start questioning if you should keep eating it. Ironically, the best thing I had all night was the Mongolian BBQ. That was actually really good and probably the only thing I genuinely enjoyed. But that's also the disappointing part. If my favorite thing at a buffet is the Mongolian BBQ station, I could've just gone to a regular Mongolian BBQ spot, paid less, and probably enjoyed the meal more. The service also felt pretty off throughout the night. Most of the servers, the workers behind the buffet line, and even the bussers didn't seem friendly at all. Everything just felt slow and low energy, like nobody really wanted to be there. Not the worst buffet experience, but definitely nowhere near as good as I remembered it years ago.
