Came here after an appointment nearby and it was around 11 am and the food for the lunch bunch looked fresh, hot and appetizing! It's turo-turo style (where you point to what you want like Panda Express) I ended up getting the topsilog and a 2 item combo plate with bistek, panict & white rice to share with my hubby. It was so good, we basically ate everything and thoroughly enjoyed every bite! Inside there's tables and chairs to enjoy your food and snacks to purchase for kids and adults. There are also some dessert options but not many. They do look premade. It seems clean and the staff was friendly. We'll definitely be back!

Now called Mimmie's Kamayan. I stopped by for lunch and chose the fried fish (bangus) and pancit (extra $3.50). You can ask for vinegar for dipping the fish. Fresh and flavorful, delicious. Staff was friendly and the place is clean, with pop music playing medium loud inside. Lots of indoor seating which can accommodate up to 8 people comfortably in two of the booth tables. I'll be back to try the adobo and fried rice.

I was craving Dinuguan and this definitely hit the spot. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely come back.

I've gone here for years now when I have Filipino food cravings. The bigger Filipino food selections and products are all in the West Covina area but Seafood Ranch is a hidden gem located in Chino Hills. The location had a large remodel last year and now they have the ability to host events as well along with eating inside at clean tables if desired. The food choices are usually good (I love the palabok and pancit)! As for prices, that's the only thing keeping me from a five star but I still feel it's overall a good value.

When we first arrived, the front was completely disorganized, and there were no lines at all. People were just crowding around the hostess table, so I had no idea how to add my name to the waitlist. There were no signs that showed where the line starts, and no line was being formed at all. The hostess kept having to walk people to their table, so it was nearly impossible to grab her attention. When I did manage to do so, she was very rude and prioritized other people before us. She obviously saw us come in before other people, but ignored that fact and just added other people to the waitlist first. Ridiculous. Their waitlist system is through Yelp, which sends you a text when your table is ready. Based on the app, it said that our table wouldn't be ready for about 1.5 hours, so we decided to walk around the outlet in the meantime. After nearly 1.5 hours, I saw that we were 2nd in line and decided to have our family walk back to the restaurant. While we were waiting outside for me to receive the text, we heard the host call my name and say that our table was ready. We met with him, and I said that it was odd since I hadn't received the text yet. He said, "Oh no, the hostess told me about you guys. You said that your phone was dead, so you'd hang around the restaurant and wait for us to call your name." No. We never said that. They have us confused with a different party. This means that if I hadn't checked the waitlist regularly and had just waited for that text, it never would've come, and we never would've gotten seated. What a messy system. Also, I've never been to a seafood boil restaurant where we have to ask for the bibs. Normally, they're given to us right when we're seated, so it was weird. We noticed other people were given bibs right when they're seated, so we're not sure why this happened. Other Kickin' Crab locations also give you an entire bottle of ketchup, whereas this place only gives small plastic cups. Weird. I think the employees and other customers would agree with me when I say that the entire place is completely disorganized because multiple orders around us were being messed up. The table to our left was missing its piece of corn and sausage in its bag of shrimp, while the table to our right was missing crawfish in their bag. The workers were obviously trying their best to straighten things out, but it didn't seem to be working. The menu is consistent with their other locations, but the market prices are a bit higher than what we're used to. Compared to the location that we always go to, this place offers bigger frozen crawfish, but the bags were mainly just the claws, so it seemed like a big ripoff. * Cajun Fries: 8/10 - nice cook, but there was only cajun seasoning on the top * Shrimp (Head-On): 9/10 - good flavor * Crawfish (Frozen): 6/10 - big crawfish, but the bag was mostly just claws and not enough garlic The place is located at the Shoppes of Chino Hills outlet, so parking is relatively easy. After being seated, the servers were nice, but it was difficult to enjoy the experience because of everything that had already happened. Overall, the service was a huge letdown, and we did not feel comfortable eating here. Places like this are why tipping is optional. The workers at the Kickin' Crab location we usually go to are way more laidback and friendlier, yet still maintain impeccable service. Would not return.

I'll start with the good, which was the service; I found our server to be very nice, attentive, and helpful with giving us recommendations throughout the night. However, I felt the food was very expensive for what we received, the portion sizes were not very big, and the overall quality was just not good. I noticed the flavors were mostly just salty and spicy, to the point where I couldn't really taste the intrinsic flavor of the seafood itself. I ordered the mixed seafood cocktail, but it had mostly lemon juice and tasted much more like a ceviche than a traditional cocktail. Most concerning of all, I could tell something was off with the seafood, and it ended up giving me a major upset stomach after eating here. Considering how much we paid for just 2 entrées, combined with the fact that it made me sick, it is highly unlikely that I will ever return.

From the moment we walked in, the staff was super welcoming and took the time to walk us through the menu and their specialties, which made ordering a lot easier. The shrimp tacos were a pleasant surprise--not your typical style. They're fried and topped with a flavorful sauce that really sets them apart. Solid choice if you want something a little different. The real star of the show was the Poseidon botana aguachiles. We were originally deciding between the Poseidon and the mixta, but they mentioned they could make the botana a Poseidon style, and that's what we went with. Absolutely delicious--super fresh and packed with flavor. Highly recommend this dish. We also tried the tostada de pescado (size small), which was probably my least favorite. It wasn't bad, just didn't stand out compared to everything else. I'd personally skip it next time. One thing to note--there's a small parking lot that was more full than expected given how many people were inside. It seems like it might be shared with nearby businesses, so just keep that in mind. Overall, great experience, great food, and I'd definitely come back to try more from the menu.

HOUSE PAN ROAST It tasted exactly what was expected. A creamy tomato soup consistency and flavor. Got level 2 or 3 for spice level. I wanted more of that creamy flavor, not spice. Any higher than 3 would be Tabasco level spice and up. Deliciously filled with shrimp, chopped scallops, small crab meat. I could taste the crab meat, which was all sitting at the bottom of the bowl. The scoop of jasmine rice with the creamy pan roast was comfort on another level. Got the small size, but it is enough for me. I do wish there were more shrimp and scallops and crab in the pan roast. I felt the scallops and crab were chopped too small and wished there was a bit more. But still I enjoyed the pan roast and would get it again. As an appetizer and accompaniment to the house pan roast, they bring a basket with three sliced breads and a side of butter. It's a light, soft bread with a bit of sour flavor. Didn't like it. I would have preferred dinner rolls. CUSTOMER SERVICE I arrived 1 hr before lunch closing time. It closes at 2:00pm and then re-opens for dinner at 5:00pm. But service was good! Only one server, but she checked back with everyone and all around better than most places I've been at recently. Lots of people came in 30-40 mins before closing time. The Boiler is located in a large shopping plaza, so there is plenty of parking. They don't take reservations, but there was no line at opening, and they were able to accommodate my party of 10 without issue. They have both tables and bar seating. Of course I had to try their House Pan Roast that has shrimp, crab, clams, scallops, and the trinity in a tomato cream-based sauce. It also comes with a scoop of jasmine rice, but you can sub for pasta as well. You choose your spice level ranging from 0-10. I can't handle very much spice, but a spice level of 1 was not spicy at all, and spice level 3 really didn't have much spice either. Our server told us that a 6 or 7 is about sriracha level in terms of spiciness. The House Pan Roast overall was very tasty, and I enjoyed having a variety of seafood! The portion of rice isn't too large, but I appreciate that they give you complimentary bread, so it was great for dipping in my remaining pan roast!
