It is with great pleasure to announce that I have finally dined here on several occasions as of my last review update. It's pretty nice inside! The green is very relaxing visually and it's always really clean and cool inside too. Service is great, food too but that goes without saying. I will say though, after having their boat noodles a couple times, Thaitwist's is probably the best I've had in a very long time. It's incredibly flavorful, though it is a bit lacking in add-ins/components, especially compared to other places I've been to. Besides that, it's still super delicious. However, I can't exactly say the same for their tom yum noodles. It's by far the worst I've had anywhere unfortunately. The soup is mildly tangy and pretty light, but kinda flat in terms of flavor. It's very singular in the taste department and also lacking in add-ins too. I guess if you're feeling under the weather and don't want anything too rich and heavy, this would be a pretty good option. Aside from that, everything else is delicious! After coming here several times, I'm starting to learn what Thaitwist makes really well and what items to skip. read more

I've been here in the past and when it first opened it was great! Then after a while the consistency was not there. I stop going there for years and thought let's give them another chance. I ordered take out. Papaya salad and pad see ew. I'm sure you're thinking... Great how can things go wrong? Well let's start with the positive. The papaya salad was good. This is how they got 2 stars from me. Now the pad see ew..... Sad! It tasted burnt. Not edible! This was the reason I stopped going there in the first place. I was upset previously because I got burnt tasting food. It seems like they cook and burn food. Then use the same pan to cook the pad see ew. I had to throw it away. Wasted like almost $20 dollars. People at the front were just okay. There's still a lot of people who go there so maybe that's the secret. If you eat there the food tastes better than if you get take out. They don't care about food quality when you order take out. I just felt like I got bamboozled!!! read more

I used to love this Thai restaurant, so I was excited to order it again through Uber Eats, Unfortunately, this order was a huge disappointment. The chicken satay was bland, and the tendons weren't removed, so every skewer had tough, chewy bits. The garlic noodle steak tasted exactly like Panda Express chow mein, except it cost me $23. For that price, I expected something much better. This place used to be one of my favorite Thai restaurants, but the quality of this order was nowhere near what I remembered. read more

Super cute aesthetic tropical ambiance with lots of plants and greenery. A good place for a quick lunch by yourself or with a friend. Their bento box lunch deal was worth the price and portioned well. Sticky Mango Rice was delicious and I love that they gave enough mangoes. Thaitwist was the pick for some takeout since I was in the area. I made an order over the phone and was advised to come pick-up within 20 to 25 minutes. I came over a bit after the ETA and it was ready. American Express was accepted as a payment option. I went at around noon on a Saturday and it was a busy plaza. It is located near Costco. For the order, I got Pad Thai with fried tofu and beef satay. Peanut, cucumber, and sauces were included on the side. A lemon was provided in the container. Everything was delicious and had a well balanced flavor. The Pad Thai had a large portion which could easily be for two people. This review is mainly on the service for a large party. Food is pretty good. I would come here again if just my family and I. The place is cute and clean, so we made a large party reservation for our son's graduation. This place does not do private events- such a shame. They can only do large party reservations ....but just be warned....when it comes to large parties...they are not prepared and do not know how to organize themselves accordingly. They were late to set up our tables for our reserved time and slow to take everyone's orders....so we already had a SLOW start. Then after 1.5 hours despite having a slow start they are rude to your guests and push them out . Never again for a large reservation for me and bringing in large orders. read more

They have a full Thai food menu, including all your classic dishes like pan fried noodles, noodle soups, curries, salads, and rice dishes, along with vegetarian and vegan options. My husband brought me here for a casual lunch. The lunch specials, available before 3pm on weekdays, include a side of 3 potstickers, which sounds like a great deal, so we had to get 2 lunch specials. I believe that Pad Thai is one of their most popular dishes. The Pad Thai was very flavorful and appetizing. It tasted sweet, tangy, savory, and nutty all at the same time. The thin rice noodles were cooked perfectly and mixed well with all the ingredients. As for the Pad See Ew, I loved the texture of the wide, flat rice noodles. Unlike the Pad Thai, this has a deeper and more savory flavor because of the soy sauce. Beef was the perfect protein to have in this dish. The Chinese broccoli also tasted great. It was nice to eat some pot stickers alongside the noodles. The pot stickers were super crispy and juicy. A sweet and sour sauce was served on the side, but I enjoyed the pot stickers more without the sauce. Solid spot for Thai food. The restaurant is pretty big and spacious, making it great for large groups and even small groups. Service was quick and friendly. Definitely check this place out for a quick meal. Parking here is free and plentiful in a large outdoor lot. Something about this restaurant I like is that there's plenty of space but not too much space. Pad See Ew Beef Changed the chicken to beef option as our pad thai was chicken. This was just as good as the pad thai. The hints of vegetables definitely makes the dish a bit more "healthy" in a way. Ordered 2 dishes and both tasted good. The portion size is a little small compared to average price of $16-18 for stir fry noodles/ fried rice. Both dishes (drunken noodle and basil stir fry) were on the sweeter side but I like it. The spice level is pretty tamed for thai food so if you like things spicy, ask for extra spice. Service was pretty slow. Waited almost 20 min for 2 dishes when the restaurant wasnt even busy. There were only 5 tables or so. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience genuinely upset me. I came in alone with my service dog. When I first entered, the server asked whether I was dining in or ordering takeout. I replied that I would be dining in and informed her that my dog was a service dog. The moment I mentioned "service dog," her facial expression immediately changed. She became visibly cold and silently led me to a table in the far corner of the restaurant. I want to make it clear that I do not mind sitting in a corner. However, from that moment on, I felt completely unwelcome. While ordering, I explained that I was in a bit of a hurry and politely asked if there were any dishes that were quicker or easier to prepare. Instead of offering any suggestions, I was simply told, "All dishes take about the same amount of time." I found this response extremely unhelpful and dismissive. Surely some dishes are faster than others, and I was simply asking for a recommendation. Throughout my entire meal, no staff member came over to check if I needed anything. No one asked how the food was or whether I needed refills. Food and water were dropped off with almost no interaction. Because I was seated in the corner and already receiving very little attention, I felt even more ignored. When I was ready to leave, I raised my hand and said "Excuse me" multiple times, but nobody acknowledged me. I eventually had to walk to the front counter myself just to ask for a to-go box and my bill. The first real sentence spoken to me during my entire visit was when someone handed me the check. I cannot know what the staff were thinking, but it was impossible not to notice how drastically the atmosphere changed immediately after mentioning my service dog. I left feeling ignored, unwelcome, and honestly humiliated. I have visited many restaurants with my service dog and have never experienced such cold and unprofessional service before. Every bite still tasted fresh, and a squeeze of lime really brightened the dish. The green curry had a wonderfully rich coconut aroma and paired perfectly with rice, but the ratio leaned heavily toward vegetables with noticeably little meat. The food's portion is filling; however, the Yellow Curry Chicken Lunch Special tastes unremarkable. Chicken is bland and boiled; curry's potatoes are chewy and dry; and yellow curry is very milky. Thankfully, the yellow curry sauce is well-spiced. Strangely enough, the accompanying salad and pot stickers tasted better than the Yellow Chicken Curry. The salad had crisp, fresh lettuce with a thick, sweet salad dressing. The pot stickers were stuffed and crisp. Yum! Unfortunately, the Thai Iced Tea is extremely generic. Its taste is very similar to canned Thai Tea in a grocery store. The service is business-like. The server is curt and professional. I waited nine minutes and 30 seconds for my orders. I arrived on a weekday (1:40PM). In addition, the Thaitwist (Chino Hills) ambiance is okay. I noticed bits of trash unswept underneath a nearby table; the furniture looked cracked and worn-down; and the location was very quiet. The location was also somewhat clean. Came here for lunch on a Wednesday after being in the area and seeing the raving reviews and I'm glad I stumbled upon it! Inside has a nice interior with ample seating and upstairs seating as well. The prices here are really good especially for their lunch special! I ordered a Tom Kha Noodle Soup with Chicken for about $13 and comes with gyoza as well. The broth was nice and creamy with a hint of spice, but I wouldn't mind more! Mushrooms they chose for the dish I was not too big of a fan of and I think the chicken was a little bland but still enjoyed the soup. The Spicy Basil Fried Rice was amazing. My friends and I were starving and wanted some Thai. The restaurant is located in a plaza with plenty of parking. It can get crowded as Costco and other markets are nearby. We were seated quickly, and it was quite nice inside though it can get packed during rush hours. There were family inside, so it was a casual spot for gatherings. For food, we got the pad thai chicken, spicy basil fried rice, and tom kha! When the food arrived, the portions were huge! My favorite was the tom kha as it was creamy and delicious with rice. Never been here so I didn't know what to expect! I played it safe and got the noodles with some steak and it was very very tasty! The service for lunch hour and a party of six was very good! We all got our food at the same time and the staff was very friendly with good menus for picture reference. My favorite Thai restaurant in the area. Staff is friendly and quick, this place does get quite packed during dinner times especially on the weekend and I can see why. Can't go wrong with amazing Thai food. Food does come out quicker than expected but it is always hot. Boat Noodle Soup- best I've had yet. If you don't like your broth sweet you may not like this. I love it- deep, rich, sweet, savory broth. Always comes out pipping hot! If it's not burning my mouth I don't want it. The rice noodle that is uses soaks up the broth while you eat it and I love that. Khoa Soi- broth is creamy and rich curry. Comes with deep fried noodles that adds the perfect amount of texture when mixed with the soft noodles. Spicy Catfish- wasn't spicy but flavorful. The sauce is paired well over rice. Roti & Curry- always nice and flaky, be careful it's pipping hot when it comes out. Spicy Basil Fried Rice- isn't really spicy but the basil adds depth to the fried rice.
