Egg Fried Rice with Pork Chop
Lawrence P.

Saw a few videos of this place on TikTok and was excited to have another Taiwanese spot in the area. I ordered online, but the restaurant has a kiosk inside for dine-in. I personally love ordering through kiosks - and wish more fast casual places offered this. Popcorn chicken - they give you a huge portion and nice sized chunks of chicken. On top of the basil they also prepare it with some whole garlic cloves, which I loved. Flavor was fantastic though I wish it was spicier. Fried rice with pork chop - fried rice was definitely on the stickier side. I prefer a drier texture but the flavor was good. I'm a sucker for egg fried rice and this hit the spot. Pork chop was also super flavorful. Nice light batter. Cut into bite size slivers. Fried noodles - pretty typical stuff. Again the portions here are very generous so you're getting bang for your buck. They use napa cabbage in their noodles so gives you that nice bit of sweetness. Really good food. Good prices. This is definitely a great option for Taiwanese.

Good amount of shrimp provided. I counted 9 pieces. Didn't like the Choi tasted like the wok.

I was craving a garlic butter shrimp burrito but I couldn't find anything nearby that could really hit that spot for me. So let's go Asian style, it's my first time ordering here I called in my order and ordered the butter garlic shrimp bento plus the radish pork soup. When I arrived in around 20 mins the lady seemed to be a bit confused on why my order was labeled "delivery" and she thought I had already paid. She was about to hand the food to me when I took out my card to pay she was confused and had to ask the other staff to ring me up. Minor confusion I didn't mind but she also just grabbed my card w a greasy glove. She apologized for getting food oils on my card and it wasn't a big deal but I didn't think that was very sanitary if she wanted to continue to use that glove. The spot is in a little plaza across from Costco. I didnt sit down to eat but it was pretty empty and I would've stayed if I wasn't on my lunch break. I'm really digging the flavor on the bento. The amount they gave was really satisfying: it had two types of green veggies like cabbage and some carrot Stir fry Choi. This is what I would subtract 1 star for. The stir fried choi tasted like the grill. Like they kept using the same grill or wok without cleaning it. Upon closer inspection, I saw lil black dots of the wok/grill on this item. I just ate some of it and didn't finish that part. Tasted more fire grill burnt than I would've liked, although the presentation was nice, I don't think that was what they were aiming for with that burnt grill taste. then they also had this king oyster saucy mushroom in the center of the bento. That was gooooood. The shrimp was a flavor bang it really hit the spot for me. I loved getting the rice all saucy with that garlicky butter pepper flavor. They didn't skimp out on the amount of shrimp either. I counted 9 pieces of shrimp. It's headless tail on shrimp so don't forget to remove the tails! Unless u like crunchy lol. They did that shrimp butter garlic flavor mixed w onions so well!! I also really enjoyed the spicy mustard greens on top of the rice and wished that they put a bit more of that in it. My total came out to be around $20. I haven't tried the pork radish soup yet but maybe I'll update my review after I try it. I'm just already pretty full. I would definitely come back for a casual lunch. They seem to have many bento style options. I would love to try a different option next time.

I came here after shopping at Costco in the same plaza. I usually get their popcorn chicken bento box to-go. They have kiosks and you can order ahead on their website. It comes with sauteed cabbage, steamed bok choy, mapo tofu, and rice with minced pork. The side dishes were seasoned nicely and the popcorn chicken was crispy and not too salty. The staff is nice and the place is clean.

A straightforward, casual spot to eat with no frills. It operates entirely on a self-service kiosk system--no cash, no tipping required. You place your order at the kiosk and pick it up when your number is called. After eating, you're responsible for cleaning your area. Water and utensils are self-serve. The food offers good quality, reasonable portions, and fair prices. I will definitely return.

Went for lunch with my wife after Costco activities, it's 2 minutes drive from Costco Chino Hills, right next to Green Banana Leaf. I ordered Taiwanese Fried Pork Chop Bento $14.5, the fried pork chop was crispy outside, juicy inside, very yummy! My wife ordered Homestyle Braised Chicken Leg Bento $14, it tasted good but I'd highly recommend Taiwanese Fried Pork Chop Bento. Both bentos came with plenty veggies. Owner was friendly, he came out to chat with customers and asked for feedbacks.

Food tastes dement and clean environment. Self service so no tips is needed for dine it. Recommend for people to try.

The food here is very fresh and tasty. The pork chop is well seasoned and crispy. The sausage was good. The side dishes were all good as well. You order from the kiosk machine and no tip is needed. Highly recommended.

新到 Chino Hills的正宗台式便當美食,$15便當包湯和任飲飲品,還免小費! Tired of paying 15 to 20% tips every time, but still want real quality food ! not fast food? Formosa Bento just landed in Chino Hills! Their bentos are only $15, and that already includes soup and unlimited drinks . yes, black tea and winter melon tea too! It's self-serve, so no tipping needed They mainly serve authentic Taiwanese railway bentos, cooked by real Taiwanese chefs. We tried the sweet & sour chicken, crispy chicken leg, salmon, shrimp -all crunchy, flavorful, and super generous in portion! Popcorn chicken and beef shank? not overly salty, just like what you'd get in Taiwan. It's the kind of meal that makes everyone happy !perfect for families, quick lunch, or even a chill solo dinner. Located right inside Costco Plaza, just off the 60 freeway ,so whether you're shopping or just passing by, don't miss this hidden gem IG: socalhkfoodies

This is located in the same plaza as Meet Fresh by Costco. It's very convenient to pick up some quick bento boxes meals after Costco. Plenty of parking. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There are around 10 tables if you want to dine in, very clean. You order at the kiosk right when you walk in and they will call your number when your food is ready. Your meal comes with a complementary drinks (black tea or winter melon). If you dine in, there are self serve stations where you can fill the drinks at the drink station. You can also order online through the link listed on Google. The portion is very generous and big. I ordered the popcorn chicken combo and braised chicken leg combo. There are side dishes that come with the bento box. They were both very good. I would definitely come back again to try other bento boxes.

Nice new restaurant addition to the Chino Hills community. The restaurant is clean and spacious with lots of seating. Self ordering machines makes it quick and convenient. Service is friendly. Each bento comes with one main dish, three side dishes, a soup, and a drink. Very filling Fried pork chop rice and fried chicken rice were done nicely, the meat was well seasoned and not too dry. Garlic shrimp rice has a very buttery taste. It came with 8 medium size shrimps, good deal for the price. Taiwanese sausage was very juicy and full of flavor. Highly recommend this place for quick meal option.

Food, service and ambience is great! Very good hainese chicken and the owner is very friendly..

Ginger scallion chicken bento

I was craving some chicken rice and veggies and this spot came up nearby. Ordering is really easy at the kiosk and if you have any questions staff is there to help. I ordered the ginger scallion chicken bento and it came out to $15 with tax. The sides are different daily but I had asked the staff if I could have tofu as a side and they said it wasn't a problem and were very accommodating and responsive to any other questions I had. The dish itself was very good and seasoned well. Also it wasn't overly oily like other places are. They give you a looot to work with (pictured) so I'll definitely be able to have my leftovers as another meal. The space itself is very clean and well lit. Overall had a great experience here with the staff and my meal, would definitely come again :)

I noticed that the service has become absolutely terrible; the staff didn't even bother to bring out basic essentials like bowls or napkins, making it feel like the restaurant has pivoted to a self-serve model without actually telling anyone. I was also disappointed to see that the menu has changed significantly, and I found the portion sizes to be much smaller than they used to be despite the prices staying high. I'm not sure if the ownership changed recently or what happened behind the scenes, but I can definitely say the quality and experience have gone really downhill since the changes took effect. It's a shame because this used to be a favorite of mine, but after this visit, I'm not sure I'll be returning.

I went with two classics I always judge a Korean kitchen by: mul naengmyeon (spicy cold noodles) and the short rib combo. The naengmyeon arrived beautifully chilled, the broth icy and clean with a balanced tang and subtle heat that didn't overpower. The noodles had that perfect chewy elasticity -- exactly what you want. Refreshing, sharp, and deeply comforting all at once. The short ribs were served sizzling on a hot plate, caramelized at the edges with a savory-sweet marinade that penetrated the meat. Tender without being overly fatty, and paired perfectly with the multigrain rice. Each bite had that smoky depth you hope for in a well-executed galbi. The banchan spread was fresh and thoughtfully prepared -- bright kimchi, seasoned greens, and small sides that complemented rather than distracted. Nothing felt rushed or careless. Service was warm and efficient, and the overall experience felt polished yet comforting -- the kind of place that satisfies both cravings and standards. Safe to say I'll be back to work my way through more of the menu.

I like how the servers here are older Korean ladies, so it feels more welcoming and authentic here. We ordered Yuk Gae Jang, Dumpling Soup, and the Octopus Bibimbap around. Portion sizes are actually pretty big. The prices here are also a lot higher than many tofu houses I've seen, probably because they give a lot more for a dish? I mainly had the dumpling soup and it was pretty good! I was getting mildly sick, so this was quite soothing for throat. Dumplings were also pretty huge, and pretty good! Although, I wish it came with noodles like the Yuk Gae Jang. I did like how there were pieces of beef in mines. The octopus bibimbap was also pretty good, the octopus sizes are thick! The banchan was also pretty fresh. Overall, food and service were all pretty good. Prices are still kinda high for what it is, but pretty legit Korean food in the Chino Hills area.
