The restaurant itself is a decent size with quite a few tables but with how crowded it is it seems small haha. I frequent this place it never disappoints. read more

Great food ! with horrible customer service I guess you can only get one thing right ? First of all these two girls or sisters always have a Stank ass attitude horrible communication and people skills ! Everytime I come they act like they own the place maybe switch jobs ? It's a choice to work there maybe treat people with respect and no attitude and you'll get treated with respect back. What can improve ? The place warm and it was a sea food place that was the first red flag. As soon as I went home I felt faint and had stomach issues it's now a week later and I feel like I haven't recovered this place is selling stomach pumps and a free unwanted weight loss. Let me tell you this is not your ordinary marisco restaurant. This place is meant for real Marisco lovers. They are know for their large platters of mariscos which are so good. I can honestly say this has to be in my top 3 marisco spots. Their seafood taste so fresh and are made with a great presentation. The Botana 30/30 feeds between 4-5 people depending on their appetite. Their oysters are so fresh and tasty great flavor overall. Service is very good as well the girls are busy but they do be checking up on you to make sure everything is ok or if you need anything else. I would definitely recommend this place for seafood lovers. read more

I took my wife here for her birthday at her request. Even after the reviews I had read were not to appealing , we wanted to try for ourselves. Karen our server was excellent. From the moment she sat us down until it was time to pay. The food was delicious! The ambience reminded me of the small little places in Mexico. We highly recommend El Ostion in Pomona. read more

Worst Mariscos spot, worst service I have ever experienced, took 20 min to come greet us with a menu, then took another 30 min to bring us our ceviche, found a piece of latex glove in my ceviche and the manager said it happens, didn't offer anything to accommodate the piece of glove in my food. Used to be my spot to go too Now waitress are horrible I used to feel welcomed in this place not anymore. The waitress just look at you like if you owe them something. They don't skimp on the meat in their tacos either (like the other places do that costs the same, or even more). I ordered online because of mobility reason and small places. They texted me as to when it would be ready and it was right on time and so freshly made we had to wait a minute when we got it home for it to cool off a bit. The only problem I had was trying to join their rewards club. They kept sending me a code, I'd put in the code and it would say invalid code. After putting in four different codes I gave up. This is the reason I didn't give them a 5 star rating.

We've done this many times in the past and always been charged the same price for both. I asked the server at the end "the veggie version is 8$ more expensive than chicken?" And he just shrugged and said yes. Just found it interesting that a meat dish would be 8$ less than a purely cheese/veggie dish. Especially since done this in the past with no issue. I also asked for "hot sauce" for my dish. They brought out a spicier house salsa as the hot sauce...totally understandable and the salsa here is usually free. Apparently it's a 4$ "chipotle sauce" that the waiter did not inform me would be charged. I would've easily just said I want tapatio or no "hot sauce". I used maybe a teaspoon for 4$. I told the waiter this when we questioned the bill and he just shrugged. These may seem like small inconveniences but when they seem like they intentionally don't tell you the details and then when called out about it just kinda shrug it off, it was a disappointing end to an otherwise tasty dinner. We love it here and will certainly be back but it just sucks that I have to be extra cautious & skeptical when ordering from now on.

Came here during lunch hour, pretty busy. We sat for a while before someone even acknowledged us. Service isn't great. Another time I called to place a Togo order, they took forever to answer the phone, had to call like 5 times till someone finally picked up. Hands down the best mariscos I've ever had in the states, they're perfect, you don't need to add anything unless you want it spicy, aguachile rojo is chefs kiss!! Perfect amount of spice, the chilpetines really enhance the taste and the shrimp is well cooked in the lime juice and that mayo on the tostadas yum, My mouth waters every time I think about it. lol.
