Not the cleanest place when I visited. The floor was dirty, looked like it hadn't been swept in a few days. The food was not good, what is everyone so excited about? Got a three entree plate and side of shrimp. The orange chicken was very sweet, almost candied and the pieces very tough. String bean chicken was salty with too much msg and the green beans were old and soggy. Chow mein was also bland but salty at the same time. The shrimp was not fishy but the breading tasted like oil. The broccoli chicken and shrimp was the only thing worth eating, the broccoli was very fresh and crunchy. Maybe I don't like American Chinese food or my palate has evolved. I live about 10 minutes away from here so I wanted this to work out. I've to many local sushi spots. There are actually way better than this. Not sure if it was because they were a little slow. SCORE! I went inside and there was only 1 person in front of me. All the food looked very good and fresh. While waiting 5 more people came in and a line was starting to form. That's how you know this has to be a good spot. Lol. Everyone was ordering the orange chicken and they ran out... But as I was going to order they brought out a FRESH ONE! LETS GO!! They also brought out FRESH CHOWMEIN! SCORE!! I got a 3 item combo cause we love orange chicken. I also wanted to try something else so I tried the spicy orange chicken. They loaded us up! Tons of food. My girls loved the orange chicken, it was nice and soft and flavorful. My wife and I preferred the spice orange chicken. It wasn't spicy at all and it was more savory than sweet. I come here regularly. But the powers that be seem to give messages that I need to stop. I've referred other Yelpers about this place with generous big portions with their meals. But I'm starting to feel a little discriminated against here. My portions are never generous or big for some reason. But every time I come I give these servers the benefit of the doubt and think they'll give me bigger portions one day. Never the case as it seems. Even if I get the entrees with just chow mein or steamed rice, overall my portions are never generous. I don't know if it's coz the servers recognize me or don't like ne, whatever the reason, I'm just disappointed. The lady at the cash register said "maybe it's becoz it's just steamed rice and not with chow mein, fried rice." Really? (Shagrin), even when I said "I come here regularly.." it didn't seem to matter Even as I eat this meal. I'm chewing chicken bones from the green bean chicken and spicy orange chicken. Rww! Only the 1st time I came I got generous portions. But since then, it's been downhill since. Each other times I've come I see them piling up other customers' portions, because t mine is not the case. Perhaps, I'm not welcome as a (now formerly) regular customer and I get this treatment to stop coming here. This place is great! Good price. Multiple options for different tastes and preferences. One person, couple, small party, big party... (those are my classifications not theirs. Theirs are 1 item combo, 2 item combo, 3 item combo, family dinner, and party tray). You can also just buy the dishes themselves if you don't want a combo or tray. Made it super easy for us to just grab and go! We got the family dinner which was $50, and we even had the option to swap out entrees (we kept the default because it met the diverse tastes of our group). Staff are also really nice. Wish we had more of these places around my area. read more

I love coming here, they always stuff the boxes with so much food and prices are fair! I love getting the spicy jalapeno chicken! its my favorite. The crab wontons are also pretty delicious! It is located next to goodwill and has an indoor seating area. The staff is very friendly and are always willing to give you a sample of the food to see if you like it. Ambiance is pretty quiet and open, most people take out, but you have the option to seat in and enjoy your hot food! I come here at least 3 times monthly, whenever we feel lazy on a weekend, this is our Chinese food spot. Will continue to come here for sure! read more

I just had my second visit here and let me just say these are the nicest and friendliest people you'll ever meet. Both times I have came they have greeted me with huge smiles as soon as I walked through the door. These women must truly enjoy working here because I felt it as soon as I walked through. On top of that, the orange chicken is off the charts. And both times I have came, my food was filled to the brim! I feel like that is so rare for Chinese food places that try to cheat you off of the portions. Honestly this place looked pretty good at first, it was packed so I believed it was a good place to eat at. Meanwhile waiting in line, I saw a worker put back food from someone's plate (Because they wanted something else I guess) Then when I was at the counter paying some worker starts telling a customer that she didn't pay for that drink after she gave it to her, it seemed very chaotic and very awkward to be in the middle of it. DUCKING AWESOME! We were back home visiting from Hawaii for our little one's birthday. Came across this beautiful restaurant for catering and got the most bang for our buck. My family loved the family pack catering and Dragon Express helped with all of the menu modifications and completed our requests in perfect timing. We had over 60 guests and there was plenty of leftovers for everybody to enjoy back at home or the following day. We'll definitely be visiting Dragon Express again soon. read more

We came here on a whim. We have a family of about 20 and we're in the area celebrating a bday party. We couldn't decide on food and looked on yelp to see what we could find to feed us all. Dragon Express was one of the top places for Chinese food. I called and asked about the party trays and if they could do a party meal today, she said yes and we drove over to put our order in. The business is in a shopping center with some other stores like smart and final and auto zone. The inside looked like your basic Chinese fast food business. There were about 3 people ahead of us but the line moved quick. The place seemed pretty clean but was definitely warm inside, so if your looking to cool off in a warm day, this is not the place. We asked about the party trays and let them know we called. The party meal I believe was $159 and you got fried rice, chow mein, 3 entree items and 30 egg rolls. We thought it was a pretty good price. Our 3 entree items were orange chicken, beef and broccoli and kung pao chicken. All the food was delicious and the egg rolls were a hit as well. They gave us more then enough food for our family party. Piled the food high on the trays. I would say this party meal would feed 30-40 people, so we had a lot of left overs. We didn't need drinks but they had a whole refrigerated section of soda liters as well as cans of sodas and different teas and other drinks/water. The ladies working were super nice and friendly.
