First of all, this place was absolutely amazing in many aspects. The food was absolutely delicious. I got the signature beef noodle soup. The noodles were nice and chewy and the broth was flavorful. The dish was very aromatic, made me want to dive in. Second, the service was outstanding. I was in a party of 23, and Hayden was able to accommodate all of our needs. Our group had so many requests: asked for water, extra napkins, another table, and he was able to answer all of our questions. The place overall was very clean as well. We dropped off our daughter at her dance class and decided not to cook tonight. We just wanted something simple and close to the dance studio, so we decided to try Noodle St in the Target Plaza in Chino. The staff was okay, but unfortunately the experience was not great. The biggest problem was the temperature inside the restaurant. It was over 100°F outside, and it felt like the AC was not working properly. I would guess it was around 88-90°F inside. Eating a hot bowl of noodle soup in that kind of heat had me sweating the whole time and constantly drinking ice water just to cool down. I ordered the Signature Beef Noodle Soup, but it only came with a few thin slices of beef. For the price, I expected more. Honestly, compared with a good Vietnamese pho, I think Vietnamese pho is much better in both flavor and value. This review is for the dining comfort / indoor climate: August 2, 2026 We were sweating while eating, and thought it was just us. I asked a staff member if the was AC on, and they told us that the unit had been broken for a few weeks now (Landlord battling with Tenant on HVAC repair) and this is the best they can do. The thermostat read 85 degrees for the dining room, and I'm assuming it was close to 90 in the kitchen. I feel terrible for the employees who have to work in this environment. Apparently they had to close down 3x last week due to the extreme temperatures. It would have been helpful if Noodle St set our expectations on the non working HVAC system before we sat down and started dining. We wanted to leave but we were struggling to finishing our food. Food was good, but the heat of the dining room ruined it for the 6 of us. Staff checked in on us a few times to see if everything was okay, but we were lying through our teeth. This review is in hopes the business manager provides some sort of relief, temporary AC, fan, or open door dining, because it was extremely unpleasant. Conveniently located in Chino near all the shops. It wad my first time visiting this location. It was easy to park and we were seated right away. This is a very spacious location. It was just a little odd that they only had 2 servers during dinner time. I felt so bad for them. They were running around, making drinks, seating people, taking orders, dropping food off to customers, bussing tables, collecting payments...literally all the things! The food was really good. I loved the knife cut noodles with shrimp. The beef on rice was quite tasty. Their beef wrap was really good but had way too much cilantro and green onion. Drove past here many times. Finally decided to give them a try. The restaurant is nice and clean. Decor was pleasant to the eyes. We were seated upon entering the restaurant. The flavors are on a more simple scale, but overall is mature. They have a really good customizable menu that allows you to remove any extras such as green onion or cilantro if you don't like it. Benches out front with kids play area will make the wait fly by. We ordered a few hand cut noodle dishes, beef roll and chicken wontons. The table chili oil is a must to add some spice. I love the chopsticks here. They're the perfect tool for picking up those fresh noodles. Why would you have metal or plastic to try and grip these slippery suckers. The broth spoon is a big scoop to catch what doesn't make it in. Loved the freshness of ingredients. Service was great! This team was working hard to keep their guests satisfied. It was a perfect dance watching the masters at work in the kitchen. They delivered our meal in ample time. If you enjoy fresh noodles put this one on the bookmarks. You won't be disappointed. I had trouble writing this. On the good side, several appetizers blew me away. On the sad side, it's hard for me to recommend a bowl of Noodle Soup from Noodle St. The Good Beef Roll: Amazing. If you've never had beef rolls before, it's like thinly-sliced roast beef in a perfectly toasted burrito with lots of cilantro and green onions. Watermelon Juice: It was steep for $6, but it tasted good. Spicy Chicken Wontons: Great, on par with DinTaiFung (which makes me chuckle) Pan-fried Pork Cabbage Dumplings: Good, solid choice and it had the delicious, signature savory pork dumpling flavor Crispy Tofu: More egg-like than tofu-like Lamb Skewers: Chewy, I would not reorder this The Sad I tried both standard and knife cut noodles. I'd recommend standard round noodles. I went with a big group and no one enjoyed the knife cut noodles. They're thick and they have an unsatisfying bite to them. You want your noodles to have soup flavor, with maximum surface area! Knife cut was like 3x-sized gnocchi and they consequently had no flavor. Standard was spaghetti-sized, it was good. I tasted many of the noodle soups. The Bone In Rib Rice Noodle Soup was fall-off-the-bone and the soup was light and flavorful. I can't point to another bowl that I could recommend. Even the spicy one I took a picture of, I thought it was okay, but if you didn't grow up with that flavor, you'd probably hate it. Same thing with the Egg with Tomato over Knife Cut Noodles. That tasted just like my momma's, but if you didn't grow up with it, good luck. My friends didn't enjoy their Dan-Dan or the Signature Beef Noodle Soup. Very amazing and fast service. They do charge gratuity for a certain party size so make sure to check your tips and receipt. I love that they understand we like to cut our noodles up and they give some major no kidding scissors to do the job. Nice! My first experience here with my family was pretty great. I would note that the dishes are a bit more expensive than some other similar places, but it looks like they make sure the experience is included with that price. From the premium napkins, the chopsticks, to even a pair of scissors I got to use to cut up food for my kid. The staff are super friendly, and in case your kid has an egg allergy, know that you can just order the knife cut noodle, which has no egg in it. We enjoyed the Xiao Long Bao, and the Beef Wrap is tasty, but keep note that is a good amount of green onion inside. The Signature and Dan Dan Noodle was delicious. Just know that the Dan Dan Noodle is soup based, not a dry noodle. Looking forward to come back as it was fast, clean and a great first experience. There seems to be a lot more to try! I'm so glad Noodle St. opened a location in Chino Hills! No more long drives to Eastvale for my noodle fix, especially since I heard that location is under remodel right now. Note that for some reason CH doesn't have all the menu items as Eastvale. I stopped by for my go-to order: the Spicy Beef Noodle Soup with Knife Cut Noodles. It was just as delicious as always - comforting and flavorful. I also ordered the Beef Rolls, which had a nicely crispy and flaky pancake wrap. I wasn't quite sure what you expect since some pictures make it look like the lanzhou style beef noodle soup. Maybe the non spicy version is that kind I'm not sure...
