We've been coming to this pho restaurant since day one and have been regular customers for a long time. Unfortunately, lately, the quality has really gone downhill, and it's disappointing to see. Pho just doesn't taste the way it used to. When the noodles are mixed with the broth, the flavor is off, and the broth no longer has that rich, authentic pho taste we used to enjoy. I'm not sure if the water used to cook the noodles is being changed frequently enough, but I wonder if the buildup of rice starch in the cooking water could be affecting the quality. When the water becomes cloudy and starchy, that starch can cling to the noodles and eventually mix into the broth, affecting both the texture and flavor. Whatever the reason, the pho simply doesn't taste good anymore. On top of that, the older lady working there has a bad attitude, which makes the overall dining experience even more unpleasant. As customers, we come in, order from the menu, and pay for what we eat. We're not asking for anything unreasonable or ordering anything off the menu. A little courtesy and a better attitude toward customers would go a long way. This restaurant has a lot of potential, and I know it can do much better. That's what makes this experience so disappointing, especially for those of us who have supported this place from the very beginning. I genuinely wanted to keep liking this restaurant, but between the decline in food quality and the poor customer service, I just can't justify coming back. Sadly, this will be my last visit. I hope the owners take this feedback seriously and make the necessary improvements, because it would be a shame to see a place with so much potential continue to go downhill.

Also the young kid who works here with the glasses was a deal breaker for me! He's rude and not friendly. I got his attention first then when someone walked in he rudely told me to hold on with his hand up. Remind you it was not packed!!! Then I asked him about the menu and he was 100% confident that the oxtail did not come with it but on the menu, it clearly shows it does. I went up to him a second time and he said no it does not rudely. I'm like this guy is so sure. Sucks because this is down the street from my house and had high hopes. There's a reason it wasn't packed!
I have been resisting Pho for awhile and finally decided to give it a shot. I'm glad that I did it was really good. Quick and easy service and fresh food. We had: 83 Combo Stir Fry w/Mixed Vegetables 28 Combo Pho with a beef rib. A strawberry lemonade and a hot tea. The food was delicious and the serving was large! We had a good time before our Costco run!
Very kind the waitress and beautiful place -- good for weekend quality times with family, the food looks good. There is a robot waitress too
Really good Pho and plentiful. Looks like a new establishment, but very busy for a late afternoon. I ordered the combination pho and hubby orders stir the chicken stir fry with rice. Both were a hit! The stir fry had plenty of large vegetables with a nice gravy. I ordered a rib to go with my pho. It was a little tough for my liking. I love that it's in the same shopping center as Costco, so if you hungry, just stop over and get a bite to eat.
Decided to try this place for a Saturday dinner and I think they changed ownership. We walked in and greeted nicely, and sat down to see the menu. They have pretty great selections and the service was nice and attentive. The pho broth was hot as I like it and not too salty. We ordered small size meatball pho and it's pretty big. Both of my daughters shared it and they couldn't finish it. The garlic butter tofu is also a nice sharing appetizer, very different than regular fried tofu and definitely can't stop eating it. Definitely way better than the previous owner.
Was invited to try this spot with some friends. We got there a little late but they still let us order and dine in which was nice. I ordered the grilled chicken pho and we got some egg rolls. The chicken pho was delicious! The egg rolls not so much but it could of been that we got the end of the day batch. I get it. I will definitely come again, this was my favorite pho place so far. Place was clean and spacious.
Great food and generous portions! I ordered the garlic beef noodles and the pho combination plate, and both were great choices. The combination plate is especially large and definitely gives you plenty of food for your money. If you're looking for a filling meal with good portions, this place is worth checking out. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu!
We had a large party so we were willing to wait in case they didn't have a table, but luckily they had a longer table and accommodated my party of 7 right away. The food options from The menu were a lot but everyone was able to pick something. The taste of the broken rice dishes was delish and the meat was soft. Overall it was a good pho option
We dropped by as a party of 5 at 5:30 and were seated promptly! We had the eggrolls as the appetizer but it was honestly a little disappointing; they were not crispy. The portions they gave were hefty and filling, we ordered the beef rib pho, grilled pork vermicelli, and grilled beef and shrimp paste vermicelli. We had leftovers and left sufficiently full. Flavor wise I rate everything about a 3-- the green Thai tea had a very floral aftertaste that was overwhelmingly perfume-y and artificial, and I asked to switch to normal Thai tea because it was undrinkable. The entrees weren't particularly outstanding, just alright. Their service in switching the drink ultimately bumped my review up to 4 stars; for something more authentic or flavorful I would make the drive to OC or El Monte instead.
Convenient location, steps away from America's Tires Chino Hills. Check them out If you ever get hungry while waiting for your car tires to get changed. Our server was quick and attentive. We ordered Beef Broccoli and Beef Bun. They were served with generous portions and perfectly seasoned crisp and tender vegetables! My Beef broccoli could use a few more extra beef slices though so I just took a few beef slices from my boyfriend's Bun Bowl which had a lot of meat on it. They have an Impressive menu, lots of protein options ( beef, chicken, fish, shrimp and tofu ) and a variety of vegetable forward choices. There's lots of refreshing drinks to choose from and they even have cocktails. The restaurant was clean, spacious and inviting. They had wheelchair accessible bathrooms and there's lots of parking. I'm looking forward to trying their Bahn Mi and Pho next.

Tried pho here for the first time, was surprised by their service, very friendly and attentive! We ordered Pho with 3 protein: Steak, Flank & Meat Balls. The broth is clear, flavorful, and the portion is huge! You can choose from M, L and XL sizes, which could be very helpful for small or big eaters! We also ordered Grilled Pork Spring Rolls, 2 or 4 pcs, very filling and the pork is tender! Would recommend! read more

This pho place is 9/10. We enjoyed the flavorful broth and amount of meat. They have a lot of pho options but I really like that you can build your own pho option. The vermicelli with grilled pork was good but the fried shrimp paste was a bit overcooked and tough to eat. Beef fried rice was delicious and a great portion. Loved the spacious restaurant with plenty of seating. Dining room looks clean and loved all the photos of Vietnam. This is definitely going to be on rotation. read more

It was my first time here, so I wanted to try the appetizer platter (even though I knew that I would have lots of leftovers)! I also ordered a "small" mixed seafood bowl of Pho. It was huge! I was only able to eat about half of it and only a couple of items off of the appetizer tray. The leftovers will make at least 2-3 more meals! Nice ambience too! We've been going to the Pho Island in Ontario for years and was very pleased to know they opened a second location in Chino Hills. Always hits the spot. Broth is always hot and delicious and most importantly our kids love it! Their food is good and the service is great. read more

So the service is how you should expect any Vietnamese service to be. Most of the staff act like you're an inconvenience. But that's ok, because the food is epic! One of the best pho places I've eaten at, and I've been to 50+! It's also very affordable without sacrificing quality. I would give this place more than 5 stars if I could. read more

Probably the worst oxtail pho I've had. Meat was tough and not good. They gave me the tiniest little pieces (photo shown of the weak little bones). Gave an extra star just because they had an adorable little girl serve me my water lol. The worst of it was I saw the bones from another guy's table from his oxtail pho, and his bones were giant! read more

Pretty average. Prices are a bit steeper than others. Service was standard. Slow night so they're quick to take orders and the food came out fast. I ordered Bun Bo Hue and it was good but I've had better. It only comes in a large size and had a good amount of meats in it. Unfortunately the noodles were waaaay too soft. If they soak it for a little less time there would be a better bite for the noodles. My bf ordered a regular pho with beef and he liked his dish. read more
