#65 grilled pork and bean curd bun
Rainbow C.

Solid food for a decent price! Food: - grilled pork and bean curd bun: large portion, well seasoned and grilled pork, with a side of broth! - pho: good portion, good price, delicious broth! Ambiance: Clean and spacious, great natural lighting Will be back!

Bun Bo Hue,with toppings, which I had to take out of the container, and is overflowing in my bowl.

They have so many options, and I want to try something new each time but always come back to their regular combination pho. The portions are massive, and I crave it on a monthly basis, especially during the colder days. Omg, today I finally tried their bun bo hue. I wanted to marry this bun bo hue. It is so deeply flavorful, comforting and there is a whole pork bone in there! Service is always friendly and patient. Don't believe the Google Maps reviews on their service. Whenever I step into this restaurant, it's so welcoming and reminds me of our travels in Vietnam. The place is spacious and very clean. They even have one of those robots bringing your food to your table- so high tech! I would recommend bringing your family here for a hearty and tasty meal or dining solo! I drank every last drop of the soup, and it will for sure be one of my hyper-fixation meals.

We had a large party so we were willing to wait in case they didn't have a table, but luckily they had a longer table and accommodated my party of 7 right away. The food options from The menu were a lot but everyone was able to pick something. The taste of the broken rice dishes was delish and the meat was soft. Overall it was a good pho option

We dropped by as a party of 5 at 5:30 and were seated promptly! We had the eggrolls as the appetizer but it was honestly a little disappointing; they were not crispy. The portions they gave were hefty and filling, we ordered the beef rib pho, grilled pork vermicelli, and grilled beef and shrimp paste vermicelli. We had leftovers and left sufficiently full. Flavor wise I rate everything about a 3-- the green Thai tea had a very floral aftertaste that was overwhelmingly perfume-y and artificial, and I asked to switch to normal Thai tea because it was undrinkable. The entrees weren't particularly outstanding, just alright. Their service in switching the drink ultimately bumped my review up to 4 stars; for something more authentic or flavorful I would make the drive to OC or El Monte instead.

This pho place is 9/10. We enjoyed the flavorful broth and amount of meat. They have a lot of pho options but I really like that you can build your own pho option. The vermicelli with grilled pork was good but the fried shrimp paste was a bit overcooked and tough to eat. Beef fried rice was delicious and a great portion. Loved the spacious restaurant with plenty of seating. Dining room looks clean and loved all the photos of Vietnam. This is definitely going to be on rotation.

Food is delicious, service is really fast, employees are very attentive. The portion sizes are decent and there's plenty of meat in the pho. The restaurant is clean and the menu has plenty of options. There's shared parking and clean bathrooms in the back. Instead of limes, they provide lemons.

Great place for authentic Vietnamese food. Place is very big, good for big group gatherings. All the dishes were delicious and comes in big portions. You will leave with full stomach and lots of leftovers. Our server was friendly and attentive.

Since Pho N Mor going down down hill which I won't go anymore. Give Pho island another try. Good quality of food and portions has improved surprised me. The service is an upgraded since they hire new people. Price is more reasonable now compared to before. Plan to give my 5 stars but 1 thing stopping me from there. Check the billing suggest tips. Which is calculated after tax (Hey, I tip the service but not tip for the tax). I hope they aware and fix it soon

The portions were generous for the pho, and everything tasted fresh. The kids especially liked the egg rolls and the variety of options on the menu. Service was fast and friendly, and the staff made the experience feel welcoming.

I just found out a few days ago that January 31 would be their last day in business, and I was truly heartbroken. Because this place means so much to me, I brought my family to dine here one last time before they closed the curtain. It felt bittersweet sharing one final meal together in a place that holds so many memories. I come here almost weekly, and servers Daniel and May always carry the brightest smiles and provide the warmest service. This place will be deeply missed, and I truly hope that one day Tay Ho will return to Chino Hills again.

The filling is slightly different than typical banh mi since it's meant to mimic the elements of beef brisket pho. The portion was great for the price & the sandwiches were packaged nicely so it is easy to take on the go. I ordered via online ordering so I have limited say on service & ambiance. But I would be open to dining in next time to try other items on the menu based on reviews.

The same waitress we've dealt with in the past continues to be extremely rude. She has gotten our order wrong before and tends to argue instead of resolving issues. There also seems to be a communication barrier, which wouldn't be a problem if there was at least some effort to be patient or respectful but there isn't. Tonight really crossed the line. We arrived about 30 minutes before closing, which is still reasonable time to dine in. The waitress made direct eye contact with me when we walked in, yet never greeted us or acknowledged us. A man came in after us and was immediately welcomed and told to take a seat. Meanwhile, my son and I stood there waiting with no direction. Eventually, I had to ask where we could sit. The man at the register mentioned they close at 9 PM and asked if we wanted to dine in or do takeout. Since we still had time, we chose to eat there. We sat down and again, nothing. The waitress walked past us multiple times, even bringing condiments and service to the man who came in after us, completely ignoring us. At around 8:45 PM, she finally approached us. As I began placing my order, she cut me off to ask "for here or takeout," then suddenly changed it to "actually, you can only do takeout." This was confusing and frustrating, especially since the other customer was clearly still being served for dine-in. I went to the register to place and pay for my order, and I asked her why the same rule didn't apply to the man behind us. She said he was dining in. That didn't make sense, considering we arrived first. The situation turned into her arguing with me claiming she didn't see us earlier and even disputing who brought us water. On top of everything, I was left feeling severely embarrassed in front of other customers, especially with my child there to witness it. No parent should have to experience that kind of treatment while simply trying to have a meal. By 9 PM, the man who came after us was already being served his food while we were denied the same service. This experience felt not only disrespectful but also discriminatory. It's disappointing because I've tried to support this place multiple times, but the consistent poor treatment and lack of professionalism make it impossible to return. I won't be coming back.

When we first walked in, the place looked empty, and my wife and I almost considered leaving. Just as we were about to head out, a server came over, seated us, and explained the menu. The $45 menu is extensive, featuring a wide variety of Vietnamese dishes such as escargot (ốc), pho, and bò né (Vietnamese sizzling beef steak), among many others. We ordered escargot with tamarind sauce, oysters with cheese, a lobster special, rau muống (water spinach) with garlic, glass noodles, and a ribeye steak. This isn't a typical buffet--each dish is cooked to order. It took about 15 minutes since there were only two chefs, but the wait was absolutely worth it. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and served piping hot. The lobster was a whole lobster with claws, and the ribeye was a generous cut served sizzling at the table. The portions are large, and our server kindly warned us ahead of time--we're glad we listened! The owner was friendly, and the service was attentive throughout our meal. My wife and I loved this place and will definitely be coming back. It's great to have quality Vietnamese food nearby without having to travel all the way to OC.

Amazing dishes are cooked and served here. It is mostly Vietnamese cuisine that you would find here, but hey... who doesn't enjoy this kind of cuisine? There is so much this restaurant has to offer. Not to mention there are weekly events; even a karaoke night. Lastly, if you enjoy sea snails, escargot, and don't want to drive out of the IE to the OC for some... just come here!
