Came to Ray's Duck House with my girlfriend for dim sum on new year's day. We had a reservation but our table wasn't ready so we waited in the lobby. Once we were seated we filled out the dim sum sheet with our orders and it was quickly picked up by a server. Tea was brought to our table soon after. The dishes were brought out fairly quickly with the exception of the meatballs which were about 20 minutes behind everything else. My girlfriend wasn't a big fan of the su mai but I thought everything tasted good. The price was reasonable, $40 for 5 dim sum dishes and 2 hot teas. After we finished we used the restrooms before leaving. While the men's room was fine the women's room was in need of attention. No toilet paper, dirty sinks, and someone had gotten sick inside. She won't be returning so I most likely won't be either.

The Chrystal chandelier made this restaurant sparkle. All the servers there were very nice. My favorite was the sweet and sour fish. Was going to order the peking duck but it requires an hour advanced notice. Will try the next time. Have not tried their dim sum yet but i heard good things about it.

Decided to come here for dim sum before heading to go see a movie in Chino Hills. Made reservations the night before, which turned out to be useless as there wasn't a table available and we were treated as a walk-in. In the meantime, I was optimistic that this was going to be good seeing that they had a lot of business from the local community. When a table was ready, we were seated and offered tea. We checked off the dim sum menu for which dumplings we wanted to dine on. The pork siu mai, chicken feet and har gow came out first. The pork siu mai was very fatty and not much meat taste. Chicken feet was okay, but not great. The sauce was too thick from too much cornstarch or whatever they use for thickening. The Shrimp Har Gow was also Ehh. Normally, har gow & siu mai are my favorite dumplings, but not here. I left them on my plate. The Shrimp Rice Noodle Roll was delicious and I loved the sauce. Did not care for the steamed pork ribs. Very fatty, swimming in oil and not much flavor. The Beef Meatballs finally came about 30-40 minutes after everything else came. It was super dark. Tasted okay but not great. We probably could've done without but wanted to try a variety of dishes to assess whether or not to come back and try their dinner entrees. After paying the bill, we went to use the restroom. No toilet paper in the restroom so many people apparently used the disposable seat covers instead. Big wads of them were in the stall, in the trash can and on the floor. I walked over to wash my hands and there was a sink full of barf in one of the sinks and paper towels laying over the sink in an attempt to cover it up. No soap either. At least they had some hand sanitizer. We won't be back. First and last visit to this place.

Went here after our visit to the Hindu temple in chino hills. Food is good and they could have done better. Taste is very average. Nothing special. The one that stands out to me is their pepper steak. Very tender and very flavorful. The rest are average chinese/taiwanese food. From chow mein to fried rice, chicken feet and their version of the xlb dumplings. The XLB is dry.Pricewise isn't bad but their specialties like the roast duck are very expensive that's why we didnt order that. Service is pretty fast. Their crew can also use a little smile in their faces. Overall a good restaurant!

I think when you live in Chino Hills, you can't be too picky about the Chinese restaurants around you. The restaurant was pretty decent, but I think it's hard to compare when you live around the area, like Monterey Park in Alhambra, where all the Chinese restaurants are located.

My quest for the best dim sum in Southern California has taken me to many places in the San Gabriel Valley area, but I was somewhat surprised that one of the best qualities and values is found in Chino Hills. And I have been here more than a dozen times so I can say that their quality and deliciousness are consistent. Most of the staples like har gow (shrimp dumpling) and siu mai (pork and shrimp dumpling) are on point. But one of the shining stars in the house is their golden fried shrimp balls which are always flavorful and have that bouncy texture to give you the yummiest authentic experience. Ray's rice noodles are also some of the best in the business. The skin is thin and smooth, just like those you'll find in the streets of Hong Kong. I also appreciate the availability of small dim sum sized congees and noodles so that you can try more varieties. As of this writing, dim sums are $4.98 per plate on weekdays and $5.48 on weekends and this is certainly the best value that you can find in the Southland. I highly recommend Ray's for dim sum lovers. Even though it might be a bit out of the way for you, I assure you that it's definitely worth the drive!

The restaurant is very grand and beautiful inside, definitely meant for a nice memorable dinner, but that hasn't stopped me and my family from going whenever we're craving a delicious meal! All the options I've tried here are really good and full of flavor BUT the Diced Beef in Black pepper sauce is the best item on the menu. I haven't even tried all of them but I'm confident it is. It's a 10/10, get it! If you are feeling fancy and want the Peking Duck, make sure you call ahead as it requires an hour notice beforehand.

Worst Dim Sum Place I ever been. First off there was no-one to greet us when we arrive. Everyone who worked inside seems ignoring us. And then despite menu is being listed on what type of tea, they didn't ask us and give tea that we didn't order. The worst one is I was given menu that I didn't order, which was the Spring Roll and unfortunately I also forgot to count how many menu I ordered. Food was really mediocre. Siu Mai has intact shrimp in it Radish Cake served without garlic sauce Pork Rib tasted fine Egg Yolk Pork Bun was nice Bean Curd's sauce was too sweet And lastly the Vegetable Spring Roll was just fine (and we get charged something we basically didn't order) And upon paying we asked the original paper order that had my handwriting on it, they said they threw it right away once they have input into the system. Decor is nice and bougie Staffs were ignorant and often I find them rude I do not think cheaper price can have 'right' to experience bad service. First and Last time!

The Ray's Duck House near Chino Hills, CA is the best tasting Gourmet Restaurant you can possibly find in the inland empire, their services are excellent, their specialties dishes are far beyond superiors, they are the only reason we moved Chino Hills, CA I'm also a traveler going back and fore around the World, and there's nothing near to compare with the Food Quality like next to none while you dine in this Gourmet Establishment ...... I grew up eating Hong Kong style dim sum so I am very picky with my dim sum. We were greeted by a very friendly lady who sat us at a table. There are about 10 tables inside to sit and eat there. You can also order for pickup. The restroom and restaurant is kept very clean. You order by scanning the QR code. They do have a good selection to choose from. We got the usual items like shumai (pork dumplings), har gar (shrimp dumplings), pork spareribs, chicken sticky rice wrapped in lotus leaves, bbq pork buns, egg tarts, and I had to try the beef stew rice noodle soup. The server was very attentive to us while she took care of 4 other tables on her own. You do have to pay at store and not on the app when you're ready to checkout. The food came out fast and it tasted fresh. Portion size of the items are great. The bbq pork bun dough was a bit mushy to me. I like when the bun is fluffy and soft. The egg tart was perfect and not overcooked. The shumai and har gar was delicious and huge. The chicken sticky rice was very yummy . The spareribs were a bit fatty but had great flavor. The beef stew rice noodle soup was not my favorite. The beef stew was tender but it lacked flavor and the soup needed more flavor. Overall, we are happy we found a dim sum place that isn't too far from home and we don't have to drive down to OC or LA to eat. We will definitely come back if we have cravings for dim sum.

I wish there was a better way of seeing that list because I really had no clue and waited in line for nothing. The wait time honestly needs better attention. We probably waited around 20-25 minutes. It was very busy that day, and I'm not sure if it's because it's the weekend and/or due to Chinese New Year. Staff members are shuffling back and forth and are quite rude to be honest. I get that they are stressed running around, but still.... Anyways, we ordered the following via online (scan the QR Code on the table, that is probably better since they are too busy to take your order): - 1 shrimp siu mai (4 pieces) = $5.99 - 1 shrimp dumplings (we got 4 pieces instead of 3 per menu): $5.99 - 1 steamed BBQ pork buns (3 pieces) = $5.99 - 2 sticky rice wrapped with lotus leaf (4 total) = $13.98 - 1 yang chow fried rice = $15.99 - 1 seafood with pan fried crispy noodle = $17.99 SUBTOTAL = $65.93 TAX = $5.11 TOTAL = $71.04 ** Place $10 tip via cash ** We received our yang chow fried rice and crispy noodle timely, however it took a REALLY LONG TIME for us to receive the rest of the orders (the dim sum aka yum cha order); I had to ask the front how long the wait will be, otherwise we will cancel - the lady ended up checking and we got some of our orders. If I didn't ask, the wait time would be wayyyyy longer. Overall, we all enjoyed the food. Very authentic (Hong Kong Style). Management needs to improve and the wait time. Very small inside, this place needs to expand. There is another location in El Monte.

I am not a fan of their jouk ( rice porridge) I had pork and century eggs jouk , it lakes flavor for me . Black and Gold Scallop shrimps har gow was equally tasty.
