So good the food, the service, the vibes are so nice in the morning on a Sunday with planes taking off. Service is very good and fast. The food tastes delicious!

This place is a hidden gem. I almost don't want to review it and be selfish, but I must share. Their food options are incredible. Charlie was amazing. She greeted us, and welcomed us because it was our first time here. They have the option of indoor or patio seating. Honestly you can't go wrong with either option. We chose patio seating so my daughter can see the planes. This gem will be our go-to place for breakfast or brunch.

Maniac Mikes is such a fun and unique restaurant because it's right at the Cable Airport, so you can eat your eggs and watch planes go by. I came here with my husband on a whim and we decided to try it out and have some breakfast. If you come on the weekends it does get pretty busy so we had a bit of a wait. It's not too bad though because you can watch all the little planes go by at the airport here and it was a lot of fun! They have inside and outside seating. I wanted outside, but it was going to be a longer wait so we sat inside. It's not crazy big inside, but still a decent size. Our server was friendly and our food came out in a decent amount of time and tasted good. It was pretty basic breakfast. I got the bacon and eggs with hashbrowns and we also got biscuits and gravy to share. My husband got a waffle with a side of scrambled eggs and bacon. We've only been the one time, but I've been wanting to come again and hopefully sit outside this time because I love watching the runway. I think coming here is such a fun experience and highly recommend for those in the area :]

Came in this morning for breakfast with my husband to celebrate our 2 year anniversary and never had such a bad experience like this before. We were seated pretty fast but took us 10 mins to order our drinks, 20 mins to receive our drinks place orders and then WAITED ANOTHER 40 MINUTES for the food but never received it! My husband went inside to ask how long because we really did want to enjoy this place but they didn't even START making our food. The customers around us who came in after us got their food before us and the waiter was no where near. We never received our food and ended up leaving... I never leave bad reviews but the way we were treated there was insane.

We went in yesterday and had about a 20-minute wait, not a big deal at all. We asked to be seated inside as outside was very busy and the wait for outside was longer. We both had the Controller which consists of biscuits, gravy, 2 eggs and 2 sausage or bacon. We had the bacon (sausage has the encasing) the gravy was sorta cold so they warmed up more and brought it out for us. The biscuits were fluffy and square VERY, very filling and the bacon was nice and crisp. I had a side stack of pancakes that were divine. My friend said the Orange Juice was fresh and my decaf Coffee was tasty. They do have a sign at the register right now that lets you know the prices have increased due to the cost of eggs. Just FYI. Respectfully Reviewed.

What a cute place to have brunch. Our server was so sweet and kind we sat in the patio and enjoy our delicious food definitely will come back, and enjoy the view.

Whoever came up with the airport cafe idea is a splendid individual. It's almost like stepping onto a golf course and enjoying the tranquility. Visited with some friends for breakfast. The cafe is in the second building from the parking lot entrance closest to the planes. My friend saved a table for all of us indoors while the patio had a bit of a wait. Great staff & great service! We enjoyed our time here laughing, singing and savoring our entrees. Watching the planes land or take off is soothing. There's also some tables right next to the strip to get those perfect pictures. There's two parking lot areas one is right as you enter and the other is a little further back between the two main buildings. A unique breakfast experience. Fun fact: The earliest images found of an airport restaurant is that of the Sky Room in Burbank CA's Union Air Terminal (now Bob Hope Airport), in 1940.

I met a couple of cool and fun friends here for a last breakfast before I will be gone for a couple of months. We had such a great time here! I was also glad to finally come back here after such a long absence of visiting as I had last been here with an older friend that passed away. Our server was outstanding! I ended up ordering a coffee and a chili cheese omelette with double cottage cheese as the sides. My omelette was excellent and had great flavor! My friends and I shared our meals a bit. So I was able to have a couple bites of French toast, biscuits & gravy, sausage, bacon, and tator tots. It's always great to share and try as much as you can. After our wonderful meal, we went outside the restaurant patio and watched some of the planes Take-off and land. This was such a great time here! Thanks so much Lei & JDub for creating more unforgettable memories and laughter! Thanks also again to our wonderful waitress Tina! I definitely highly recommend you check this place out. It's located at Cable Airport off of 13th and Benson in Upland. Hats off to the hard working cooks. I will be back!!!

12/1/24 Surprisingly amazing food, service & ambiance!!! Hidden gem until I blew the lid... Met up with special & dear friends here at around 10:30 Saturday. I never knew this existed & it came highly recommended. I arrived late and Tina, our friendly & lovely server, greeted me warmly. Ordered a cuppa Joe--not bad at all! Got me a Denver omelette which complimented well with my 2 sides--tater tots, biscuit & gravy. I was not about to pass up on these two!! My friends ordered a chili omelette & (forgot the name of the combo) basic. over easy eggs, bacon, sausage & also biscuit & gravy. I ordered french toast to share. The vibe is simple, warm, accommodating. The staff certainly look happy to work there & show great teamwork. Tina made sure to check up on us regularly, so did her teammates. I can see myself being a regular here! Our food arrived shortly and everything was just delicious. The tots were crispy, the gravy was flavorful & so is my omelette. I couldn't finish it so I took the rest home for Hubby and he was impressed. He really loved it, too. Highly recommend this little place which is situated at Cable Airport. Plenty of free parking. This experience is phenomenal, would love to return to try other stuff on the menu. Thank you, Tina and the rest of your crew for the excellent service! You guys ROCK!

Came cause of the reviews, gonna come back cause of how good everything was! Excellent service, cheerful and fun. The food was good but the biscuits & gravy? OUTSTANDING and may be the best I've ever had and I highly recommend

When we called ahead, no one mentioned they were only serving a limited St. Patrick's Day menu today. Nothing from the regular menu was available. My daughter ended up eating plain fries the whole time because there wasn't a single kid-appropriate option. It felt misleading after being told it's family-friendly when we called prior to coming. The place was packed. The line was out the door, and we had a long wait. Inside was uncomfortably hot and stuffy too. I was eyeing the Cottage Pie but asked the server about peas (not a fan), and she said it might have a lot, so I passed. My wife ordered it instead since she doesn't mind peas and surprise, zero peas in it. She said it was just okay, nothing special, so I guess I didn't miss out. I went with the Irish Nachos instead. They were fine, but the house-made potato chips were underwhelming. Crispy but not flavorful. The standout was the lemon pepper wings. Those were actually really good. Green beer was a fun thematic touch too. Atmosphere is lively for the holiday, but for a regular visit or even future St. Patrick's Day? Probably not coming back. If you're planning to go on the big day, brace for crowds and waits. And for fun, here's a limerick summing it up: There once was a pub in Upland so grand, For St. Paddy's we joined hand in hand. But the menu was slim, Kid options were grim, Just fries for our lass, what a bland! The heat made us sweat, lines out the door, Cottage Pie? "Peas maybe." We weren't sure. No peas in the end, Wife said "meh" my friend, Nachos were fine, wings we adored. Green beer was cool, but that's all the cheer, Average at best, won't return here. Three stars is the call, For the holiday thrall. Fun once, but not every year!

They've got indoor and outdoor seating and they seemed a touch understaffed for being a beautiful day. It was also a Tuesday lunchtime so maybe they weren't expecting it to be as busy as it was. We were able to prove the menu before we got seated. And our super friendly server came out and we were able to order right away. They've got a lunch special. That is a small personal pizza with a salad and we each got that. Salads came out first and I had the arugula salad, which was absolutely phenomenal. 10 of 10 would eat this every single day. The arugula was peppery and it was well dressed in a lemon vinaigrette type sauce. I am a fan of just plain lemon on mine, but this was delicious. My husband got a union salad, which is their specialty I guess. It's got colored carrots and some beets and some shallots. I thought the dressing was bland and it certainly needed salt and pepper. We asked for both and didn't get either. Our pieces came out and they were nice and woodfired. I feel like they could've been done just a little bit longer maybe a minute or two. The sauce was a lovely fresh type crushed tomato sauce. The cheese was nice and gooey and did not feel or taste like a package of processed cheese. Pepperonis were greasy, but in a real meat kind of way. I had to dab mine, but my husband just went to town on his. The pickled peppers is a pickled jalapeño. Big chunks of them. They certainly didn't skimp on any of the toppings. They were a little sweet and a little hot. Some of the big chunks were a little too sweet for my liking but overall, it was a nice flavor mix Also from a size standpoint, I thought the salad and pizza were very adequate for lunch at around $20 price point I asked for salt and pepper again as well as a side of ranch. This time we did get the salt and pepper as well as cheese and crushed red pepper. But we didn't get the ranch until we were leaving. The server did apologize and said he thought someone else was bringing it out but I pretty much deducted a star because we asked for a couple different things that never came. Overall, the service was super friendly, the ambience was nice for an outdoor lunch thought. I thought the menu looked delicious and there were several things I would like to come back and try and I would go back again.
