Having a spot like Studio 429 right in Upland is a total win for the local scene. The cocktail program genuinely stands out, and my go-to, their Whiskey Sour, is incredibly precise and perfectly balanced. Their social hour menu is also fantastic, offering some seriously delicious bites that easily are perfect for beginning a night out. What really elevates the entire experience is the exceptionally attentive and warm service. Combine that top tier hospitality with a weekend brunch that is an absolute standout and goes way beyond your standard morning fare, and you have a clear winner. They manage to strike the perfect balance between a laid back atmosphere and a very serious approach to food and drink. This spot is undeniably a fave in my local rotation.

We got to the restaurant around 6:14pm and didn't get our food until about 7, which was longer than I expected especially since it was pretty empty when we arrived. There was only one waiter, and while he was really nice, he definitely seemed a bit overworked. The place itself is small but really cute, and the decor is gorgeous. The food presentation was great, but my chicken ended up being a little dry. Everything tasted good overall, but for the price, I was hoping for a bit more depth and complexity. I thought about getting dessert, but honestly didn't want to wait that long again since it was already getting late. Also, the Riesling wasn't my favorite, they only had a sweeter one, and I usually prefer dry. Not a bad spot by any means, but probably not somewhere I'd go back to especially if I'm really hungry lol. I'd give it a solid 4/5, mainly because of the wait time and the dry chicken.

Love the art deco interior, staff was friendly and drinks were plenty good. It was Black Friday and was just looking to have some drinks with a friend and it was perfect. It was a little slippery inside since it was raining out, but the staff was quick to bring out a sign as soon as something was said. Looking forward to coming back for some food next time.

Took my wife here for dinner and LOVED every bite! The craft cocktails were excellent. We had the beet salad, crab acts and goat cheese lollipops for appetizers and everything was absolutely delicious! We split the steak entree and it was honestly one of the best ribeyes I've ever had. We'll definitely be back!

Came here as a mid point for an early mothers day bunch. What a pleasant surprise this place was. The service was amazing and the food was delicious. I will make the trek to have breakfast here again.

We came for brunch on Sunday. We ordered margaritas as soon as we sat down with our food with ceviche. Our food came before our drinks and they accidentally brought eggs Benedict instead of ceviche. When the bartender PJ set down our drinks about 25 min later he turned to my friend and said "Eggs Benedict comes with sauce no matter where you order it so maybe order something else next time." We told him we didn't order eggs of any kind and he said "we'll just order more carefully next time." We ordered another round which took another 20 min. Our waitress Berlin was flying solo and was running around managing tables by herself and was so friendly apologizing for our delayed drinks. We would come back for her but the slow bartender lecturing us really soured things. Food was great!

The drinks were not usual The Safeword was excellent without being sweet The goat cheese balls had a wonderful taste contrast with crunchy and smooth Sautéed spinach was tasty with just the right amount of garlic and not overpowering The fried deviled eggs were delicious Berlin our server was very knowledgeable and friendly

Very good service there, puts us in good mood immediately. Food was served a bit late, appetizer and the rest of the dishes came out almost same time. Tuna stack was alright, I had better ones many other places, salmon plate had very good califlower mash, it's delightful and healthy. Brie burger is delicious, we all agreed it's better than the salmon. I think this is a very good spot for date night, celebration and even casual business team outing. Give it a try! :)

I'm so glad to have something like this downtown! Great food, great service, a little noisy when it's busy but cozy when it's not.

Opening week for Studio Four29 in downtown Upland. This brand new spot offers a classy dining room and elevated dishes. I had the tuna tower, deep-fried deviled eggs, king salmon, and lamb meatballs. I have to say, the salmon and meatballs were divine. The dishes were vibrant with color, plated beautifully, cooked perfectly, and full of flavor. Once this restaurant gets settled and works out their timing issues in the kitchen, this will be a destination dinner spot. I wish them the best in their future endeavors!

3 of us arrived at 3:30pm on a sunday. We were told that would could wait until 4pm for the dinner service or we could order apps only until that time. No worries, we got the fried deviled eggs and some drinks to hold us until the dinner service. The deviled eggs were good. My wife enjoyed them. While we waited we had some drinks and they were very good. For the main course we decided to order 3 plates and share it all so we could try several things. 1. Kurobuta pork belly 2. Lamb meatballs 3. Prawns Im going to start with the prawns as this was my least favorite. First thing is that it was listed under the shareables. There were exactly 2 prawns and one cheese stuffed pepper. The prawns were extremely dry and did not have much flavor. My wife had the pepper and found that it too was lacking in flavor. The next dish was the Lamb meatballs.... and I seriously could not tell them apart from a beef meatball. They were ok, but very dry as well. If you took a bite with the tomato sauce and some of the spinach they were pretty good. I did enjoy the lemon potatoes and the spinach a lot. The last dish was the Kurobuta pork belly, and this one did not disappoint. The brussel sprouts were cooked perfectly and paired well with the sweet potatoes. The pork was delish, with just enough fat and sauce to get some real flavor explosion. Definitely the best dish of the meal. Overall the meal was nice. The service team were extremely nice and accommodating. The atmosphere of the place is what really drew us in... since I watched it being put together a little at a time while walking by for a few months. They nailed the art deco experience with all the different textures and the beautiful lighting. While our meal was not the best, Im hoping it will improve on our next try. I was sad that the mahi-mahi & octopus ceviche was sold out... so Im hoping to get to try that!

They dont allow any food to be brought in which is crazy because you are in a food hall. So plan accordingly. They do serve unlimited amounts of their popcorn which tasted pretty good. They have some heat to them!! This is like an Arizona or Mew Mexo themed type speakeasy. I love their decor. With the fireplace and the animal skulls and animal skins everywhere. I just love how it looked. Theres an exit to the outside patio area which is nice, since this place stays open longer than most of the shops in Haven City. Only problem is if theyre playing music outside, every time the door opens it is so loud!! Like annoyingly blow my ear drums loud. Their drinks are very southwest themed. They have a lot of drink options to choose from. We ordered their blue sky and silver cloud. Presentation looked pretty. But the drinks were not that great. I had their silver cloud which had a mango foam on top. Tasted great, till you mixed it into the drink. The drink was way to smokey. It was so smokey it was almost bitter. I get a little smoke. But it was way too much. Any notes of mango or fruit or sweetness was lost in the smoke. The blue sky looked pretty. But after having a sip of the silver cloud it killed my taste buds. I couldn't taste anything in the blue sky. After our first round of drinks we were done. Had to go home and make myself an extremely sweet drink to get my taste buds back..... its a great concept. The price point is reasonable. 16 dollars for each drink. I do love the decor. But the vibes from the outside is distracting. If your into mezcals and smokey drinks this place is for you. But it unfortunately was not my cup of tea.
