Great drinks and great service! I used to come here all the time because I worked nearby. Definitely enjoyed the atmosphere and the company. They have a nice lounge area next to the bar or you can sit out sit by the pool area and just relax. Will probably come here from time to time just not as often because I no longer work close by.

The bar is located inside Aloft hotel. You can't miss it, it's right at the lobby sitting area. There is a pool table adjacent to the hotel entrance. There are some sitting area right in the middle of the lobby and there are live music in certain evenings. Drinks are reasonably priced! Especially if you come in during happy hour. Typical liquors are in stock, a few beers on rotating tab. Food you can probably skip it, it's usually microwaved or oven finger food. It's good that it's available.

WXYZ is a great name for a bar in a hotel; it puts a nice end to a night like the letters at the end of an alphabet. The bar is located within the Aloft hotel, which makes it super convenient for hotel guests to relax with some food and a nightcap. The drink choices are awesome considering a bar in a hotel. Many exotics including an awesome Mojitos. A decent wine list is also available. The bar has complimentary salted roasted almond to chew on while sipping on a beer. Their signature cocktails are $10 and the draft beers are only $5 for a pint. The decor here has brilliant colors with LED lights incorporated into the bar surface, adding to the space age decor. They offer cold, hot, big bites, and pizza selections from their menu. I had the spicy buffalo chicken wrap, which incorporates crispy chicken dipped in buffalo sauce wrapped in flour tortilla with lettuce, cheese, tomato, and choice of ranch or blue cheese. Kettle chips are included on the side. It was super tasty and hit the spot, for only $8. The chicken. Was very tender with a perfect balance of spice. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The bartender provided a recommendation from the menu, and even suggested I add onions and yellow bell peppers to my buffalo chicken wrap. Great idea, it was perfect. The food can be sent to your room if desired. I ate mine at the bar, as it was quite pleasing to the eye. I will definitely dine here or at least enjoy a drink during my next stay.

$5 beefeater and soda during happy hour

$5 Beefeater well drinks on the happy hour menu and $3 draft beers? I'm in. The bar is the first thing you see as you walk into the aloft hotel. Its a decent spot made to look swanky. By no means is this place loud or divey but instead a chill spot for light conversation over drinks. The happy hour menu is for drinks ONLY. As far as the food, I would not eat here. I ordered the eggrolls and quickly saw that they were not worth 7 dollars. I sent them back because the sweet chilli sauce was coagulated....ok it was like jello and too gross to eat. The waitress was really nice and took it off my bill. I was still hungry so I ordered the cajun tots. Another waste of money. These are hyped up on the menu but what you're really getting is frozen tater tots baked and sprinkled with some seasoning. If you want to add bacon and cheese also add another 2 bucks to your bill. I didnt send these back but decided that this would be a stricktly drinking place for me. Aside from the food, this is still a decent bar. If you want to quietly catch a game, you can do that here as again, it doesnt get too loud here. Also if you need to smoke, the outdoor area isnt far at all and is right at the pool.

This place was ok and as anticipated. There is nothing special about this bar except the outrageous prices.I understand that hotel bars drive prices up, but for a hotel that is less than $75 a night how can you charge $14 for a drink. I had a drink at a 5 star hotel on the ocean in Hawaii that was $14 and the WXYZ is not even close to that caliber. The bar was very busy when I was there and I'm sure has regulars. The customer service was decent however nothing exceptional. I would return if business brought me back to the area however I think I would stick to beer.

We only had drinks and no food. I'd loved the title that's why we decided to stop in and check it out and have a drink.

One of the coolest things about a speakeasy is the transition into the space. Here, there's a walkway and corner, then turn into the candle and subtle lit space. It's a small thing? But that bit of walk helps distance the mind and feel open to the special space. There is a bar with seating, a long high top, and bench & table booth-ish type seating. The colors are warm, reminiscent of sitting in a western sunset. Music plays - jazzy, alternative, happy music. We were greeted and seated by the friendly hostess, then welcomed warmly by the magic maker himself: the bartender! And what delightfully unique, and dare I say daring, concoctions he made! The cocktails each had a spin, an ingredient, something *different* from the norm, making it challenging for my friend and I to narrow down which delights to try! Even the popcorn was unique, with chili and nutritional yeast savoriness that was the perfect complement to our cocktails. My friend felt the Silver Cloud was quite the adult version of a smoothie dessert! She got ideas...I adored my Last Word. It was refreshing with the green chartreuse and incredibly not-put-down-able. Next up, she had the Bandolier. It was a very unique taste to her, pretty puckery, so the bartender - who checked on us regularly for impressions - added a bit more pineapple. That did the trick! My next was the Boulevardier, which was uniquely and deliciously twisted with the coffee and salt. Absolute yum!!! Even though there's a 90 minute limit, on this Thursday night there was plenty of space between imbibers, and we weren't pressured in any way to move along. Thank you, as we were due for a proper catch up. One thing we did notice, is that once there were more folks chatting and laughing, it became a bit echo-y and harder to hear. On a busier night, I imagine the ambience we first experienced- quieter, mellow, chill vibe - likely changes to more robust and lively. Either way, this place is a feels-far-away retreat worth "traveling" to.

We were greeted and seated immediately! Service was very efficient- our waitress brought us water and took our order within 5 minutes of being seated :) Kitchen was quick too, as our "frachos" and sandwich arrived really soon after placing our order Everything was wonderful! My friend said the seasoning on the "frachos" was good, and I said it could be the gochujang sauce. We laughed at the shape of how the potatoes were cut (maybe peeled?), as it was unexpected haha. It had the perfect ratio of fries to beef to toppings (red chili peppers, red onion, cilantro)! My friend got full from half of his sandwich, as it was packed with a lot of protein! Interior is pretty, and I personally enjoyed that the lighting was dim. It was actually really quiet for being/having a bar. Though I will add that the restroom was kinda dirty, and another customer and I joked about how there was no paper towels to dry our hands LOL Overall, nice experience!

We used to get healthy size wings, now they are tiny little wings. On top of that they came out dry and with barely any sauce. We were given extra sauce on the side, but it just didn't hit the spot. The Lanai is located in the Cravings food court area at The Station shopping center in Eastvale. There is plenty of parking available. We went inside to the Shuck Oyster bar and entered The Lanai from there. It is actually more of a tiki patio than an enclosed tiki bar. However, the tiki décor is great with plenty of bamboo, carved tiki figures, hanging puffer fish, tiki style signs, and many tropical accents. There are overhead fans spaced around in case it is hot outside. We had one round of drinks and several appetizers. The coconut shrimp and lightly battered Shishito peppers were great and the sauces paired well. We have had these appetizers at Stowaway before and they had the same good quality. She ordered the spicy tofu bites. I'm not usually a fan of tofu, but they were surprisingly really good. I had the Adrian's Mistake cocktail which was well balanced and a little on the strong side. She had the Right Of Passage which was good and had a light fruit flavor and you could definitely taste the mango. The one man show Brandon took great care of us. It was slow at this time of day so we got a chance to chat with him quite a bit and service was fast. They have a weekday happy hour from 4pm to 6pm. Although we didn't specifically order off the happy hour menu, three of our items, including both cocktails were part on it. I give it 4.3 stars but rounded up to five stars. I'm sure the ambience is much better in the evening when it more lively and dark outside. They have a good variety of munchies, and the cocktail menu has a good mix of tiki classics and some originals. I don't think there any many tiki bars in this area, so I hope they do well.

The service itself was great; our server was very sweet and apologized that they didn't have more options for us, offering a pasta dish and the mac and cheese. However, the restaurant's decision to fry virtually every vegetarian-friendly side in beef tallow made me feel extremely limited and unwelcome. No fries, tater tots, sweet potato fries, Brussels sprouts, or even the mozzarella sticks are actually vegetarian-safe because they're all cooked in beef fat--which is just wild for things like cheese sticks and veggies. Yes, they offer Impossible patties, but most people expect to pair a burger with potato sides, and that simply wasn't possible here. Your only real options are pasta, mac and cheese, or salads. I completely respect restaurants having their own cooking style, but it would've been nice to have at least a few genuinely vegetarian-friendly comfort sides available.
