We only had drinks and no food. I'd loved the title that's why we decided to stop in and check it out and have a drink.

Nice place, if a bit open in design for my taste, but the staff makes up for the cold-ish decor and the drinks are pretty darn good

The bar is located inside Aloft hotel. You can't miss it, it's right at the lobby sitting area. There is a pool table adjacent to the hotel entrance. There are some sitting area right in the middle of the lobby and there are live music in certain evenings. Drinks are reasonably priced! Especially if you come in during happy hour. Typical liquors are in stock, a few beers on rotating tab. Food you can probably skip it, it's usually microwaved or oven finger food. It's good that it's available. read more

Went to inquire about employment (in late October 2021) the whole bar was located in the lobby area of a hotel (combined space,) there was no remanence of alcohol or bar materials really, and there were signs everywhere notifying of closure due to supply chain failure. No mention of this on their Yelp or anywhere else, and the lady at the front desk completely ignored the fact I was even there. read more

WXYZ is a great name for a bar in a hotel; it puts a nice end to a night like the letters at the end of an alphabet. The bar is located within the Aloft hotel, which makes it super convenient for hotel guests to relax with some food and a nightcap. The drink choices are awesome considering a bar in a hotel. Many exotics including an awesome Mojitos. A decent wine list is also available. The bar has complimentary salted roasted almond to chew on while sipping on a beer. Their signature cocktails are $10 and the draft beers are only $5 for a pint. The decor here has brilliant colors with LED lights incorporated into the bar surface, adding to the space age decor. They offer cold, hot, big bites, and pizza selections from their menu. I had the spicy buffalo chicken wrap, which incorporates crispy chicken dipped in buffalo sauce wrapped in flour tortilla with lettuce, cheese, tomato, and choice of ranch or blue cheese. Kettle chips are included on the side. It was super tasty and hit the spot, for only $8. The chicken. Was very tender with a perfect balance of spice. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The bartender provided a recommendation from the menu, and even suggested I add onions and yellow bell peppers to my buffalo chicken wrap. Great idea, it was perfect. The food can be sent to your room if desired. I ate mine at the bar, as it was quite pleasing to the eye. I will definitely dine here or at least enjoy a drink during my next stay. read more

Such a fun, high-energy bar located inside the aloft hotel, arrive before 7 and enjoy the Happy Hour pricing :) drinks are simple yet effective! The bartender was adorable and chatted with us the whole time. If your not a guest at the hotel yet you're curious to what the hotel rooms look like they offer to take you on a tour.. how innovative is that?? $5 Beefeater well drinks on the happy hour menu and $3 draft beers? I'm in. The bar is the first thing you see as you walk into the aloft hotel. Its a decent spot made to look swanky. By no means is this place loud or divey but instead a chill spot for light conversation over drinks. The happy hour menu is for drinks ONLY. As far as the food, I would not eat here. I ordered the eggrolls and quickly saw that they were not worth 7 dollars. I sent them back because the sweet chilli sauce was coagulated....ok it was like jello and too gross to eat. The waitress was really nice and took it off my bill. I was still hungry so I ordered the cajun tots. Another waste of money. These are hyped up on the menu but what you're really getting is frozen tater tots baked and sprinkled with some seasoning. If you want to add bacon and cheese also add another 2 bucks to your bill. I didnt send these back but decided that this would be a stricktly drinking place for me. Aside from the food, this is still a decent bar. If you want to quietly catch a game, you can do that here as again, it doesnt get too loud here. Also if you need to smoke, the outdoor area isnt far at all and is right at the pool. read more

If you get the chance to stay at the Aloft hotel, stop by the WXYZ Bar in the lobby. Wednesday and Fridays they have live music. My wife and I stopped by and met Alexis, she is fun, talkative and makes some good drinks. Ask for a "Dude, where's my car?" Highly recommended. read more

This place is consider a "vision of W Hotels" so you get the feeling of the W hotel lounges. It's a nice spot to grab a drink with a date or small group of friends before heading out some where else. They have a nice pool table and a good sizes eating area. The bar is small but the service is good. They have live music on wed and Friday night. If this place was out closer to the west side it would be popping, but out in Ontario you are only going to get hotel guests. They have small food plates which are good. This place was ok and as anticipated. There is nothing special about this bar except the outrageous prices.I understand that hotel bars drive prices up, but for a hotel that is less than $75 a night how can you charge $14 for a drink. I had a drink at a 5 star hotel on the ocean in Hawaii that was $14 and the WXYZ is not even close to that caliber. The bar was very busy when I was there and I'm sure has regulars. The customer service was decent however nothing exceptional. I would return if business brought me back to the area however I think I would stick to beer. read more

The staff is pretty nice with an exception of a few of the head management people. No names mentioned. I lived across the street from Aloft/Wkyz Lounge and immediately became a regular. Not only for the fun acoustic nights, trendy ambiance and fresh food (buffalo chicken salad was my personal favorite), but most of all because of Alexis and her friendly staff. I could always count on Alexis to cheer me up after a rough day at work or enjoy football games on Sunday. She is crafty with her drinks whatever you're in the mood for and entertaining to chat with. If you're in town for business, a concert or visiting in general I highly recommend taking a load off and visiting Alexis at Wxyz. read more

Not really a bar. Got there at 10 and nothing. Really a hotel lobby. No beer for me I really don't know if they are good or not

I'm in town for a business meeting and all I needed to relax for one night before flying back after an exhausting week. During the check in we were told the bar was open until 11. We came to the bar at 10:15 and were told they were closed. She, the bartender said she had to be somewhere at 10:30 so she was leaving. She was standing in front of us but refused to serve. Then we complained to the front desk and they said "oh well I guess she's closing early today. Sorry" Then after bringing my own drink, I needed a plastic cup which I grabbed from the edge of the bar. As I did I had this guy with a threatening tone and gesture aggressively came towards me and said "hey bro, you can't do that! If you need something ask her (pointing towards the front desk)" Later on I found that he was the boyfriend picking up the bartender. No matter what, an early-leaving-bartender's boyfriend should not have the right to want to fight hotel's customers. A few minutes after the bartender and boyfriend left the hotel, my friend overheard the other two associates saying "oh he's lucky that he (boyfriend) wasn't here little longer or he would kick his ass." And just a reminder, this is all over the bar closing 45min early and we wanted ice. UPDATE: the very next day, managers responded to my concerns and I was very pleased with how much they cared. They seemed genuinely concerned and embarrassed about the situation. I will certainly give them one more shot. read more

Love coming to this small bar at the Aloft. Plenty of seating and great happy hour makes this place a great spot to grab a drink. They also have some amazing food. Got a pepperoni pizza and was very impressed. The crust was crispy yet doughy and the had plenty of topping full of cheesy goodness. Bartender Alexis is always friendly and slanging good drinks. The street mule is my personal favorite which is their special spin on the Moscow mule. Basically a great place to chill grab some drinks and good food. 5 stars. read more

Booked for a birthday party, everything went well, unfortunately, the young lady working the bar by herself was extremely rude and unprofessional, she had mentioned that she was the supervisor, wow really supervisor? She was rude to a few of my guests, she would leave the bartending area for like 25 minutes, having all my guess waiting for her, some of my guests actually left because she was extremely rude, I did witness two incidents, I've never experienced a rude bartender like that one, family friends and I, live in the area inland Empire and I will not ever recommend this place for a special occasion ever again. read more

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Customer service is one of the most important skill one must have as a bartender, and sadly Alexis does not have that skill. She is a very rude and condescending individual. I allowed her to express her feelings in regards to being a "latina" and it seemed as though she is embarrassed of her roots and it shows. I have never felt so disrespected and belittled by someone who uses her "title" as a manager to her advantage. At 10:20pm she closes our tab, without reason other then " I say when your tab is closed, and we are closing the bar now" The bar closing time online is 11:00pm. Being a paying customer that was refused service because of a conversation that involved higher level thinking, and Alexis being unable to appropriately involve herself in a conversation without feeling superior, or getting her emotions too involved, resulted in us not being able to continue our night. The remarks that she was making towards myself and the other guest at the bar were distasteful, A Loft should be ashamed at the management that they have running things. I apologized to the other bartender that was also serving us (I don't remember her name) I continued to ask her questions as far as higher management or if she could close the tab out, and she stated "She's my manager" in a very timid manner. That showed me that Alexis has let the "title" go to her head, she feels superior, and uses it to her advantage if she does not get the attention or conversation that she is looking for. Alexis needs to humble herself, and treat every paying customer with respect. I did not stoop to her level, nor did I allow her to ruin my night, she is "JUST" a bartender. Lou the maintenance manager witnessed the heated discussion and as we were leaving he walked us out, asked what happened, and he apologized for the way Alexis treated and agreed no customer should be treated the way we were treated. read more

This bar has such a cool vibe & the best bartender we have ever had the pleasure of being served by. I celebrated my 35 birthday here in June. Alexis was our bartender for the evening. You can totally tell she loves what she does. She is a real crowd worker! Being in the Industry myself it was so amazing to see someone with such strong social skills. I've been here a couple times since my first visit & will continue to come & recommend this place . The front desk staff was awesome too. The food is great , my favorite so far is the quesadilla. Make sure to catch Alexis on the weekends & just let her know what your craving to drink and she will make something on the spot to hit the spot as she always does for us! This place is quickly becoming a new hangout spot for my friends and I! The bartender (Karina) has consistently provided great service and has even suggested great drinks that we didn't know. There is a great band that plays here on Wednesday nights as well. Haven't tried much of the food but I can say the wings and tots are yummy. Very glad to have found this gem! read more
