My friend said the seasoning on the "frachos" was good, and I said it could be the gochujang sauce. We laughed at the shape of how the potatoes were cut (maybe peeled?), as it was unexpected haha. It had the perfect ratio of fries to beef to toppings (red chili peppers, red onion, cilantro)! My friend got full from half of his sandwich, as it was packed with a lot of protein! Wanted some wings and this was always my spot. Great wings, cooked perfectly. However today was incredibly disappointing that they changed their wings. We used to get healthy size wings, now they are tiny little wings. On top of that they came out dry and with barely any sauce. We were given extra sauce on the side, but it just didn't hit the spot. This was the primary reason for patronizing Eureka. Ordered a Bloody Mary as well and it seems to be a pre-mix. Honestly if Jessie wasn't a great server I would find it hard to give more than 1 star. We weren't too happy with our table since it was right next to the restroom. I ordered the salmon with roasted potatoes and side Caesar salad! Everything was 5/5!!! I even had a glass of Prosecco and it was perfect! The potatoes were good and healthy. The salmon was made perfectly as well with perfect taste!! The service was very good and attentive the entire time!!! No complaints about our server!! Mad that I forgot to ask her name. This was a great find. Unsuspecting, attached to a hotel and right across from the Toyota arena, this gem is definitely worth visiting. Eureka has a great vibe from the moment you walk in- dark and classy. If you're going on a cold night, just be aware that half the restaurant is open from the outside and it can get a little cold in the restaurant. They have a very large bar and if you enjoy liquor and beer, you'll have a great experience, sitting down at the bar and watching the game on a number of the TV screens that they have. By far, the highlight was having the jalapeño bacon burger. I don't know what they put in that thing but it's a burger that is sweet and juicy. The moment my wife and I bit into it the first words out of our mouth were the same-- "wow!" That's all I can say. The chicken sandwich was decent, but not as good as the burger we tried. The other item we tried because it had great reviews where the brussels sprouts. And although the portion was a little smaller than I would've hoped, that too, was just full of flavor and really enjoyable to eat. I tried their red beer which comes from Redlands and that was also really nice and full and rich. Overall, a really good experience. Two entrées, an appetizer and a beer came out to $65. We came before a Reign game. First off, there were only three servers in the whole restaurant. So we waited about 20 minutes while only 10 tables were sat. I always have such a great time when I go to Eureka. I feel like it's a perfect spot for a solo-date or a couples date. It's right next to the Toyota Arena and it's located as part of a hotel so it also makes the perfect pre-game spot if you're attending an event at the arena. I always opt for their "The Floor is Lava" which is a mezcal based drink, their brussel sprouts and their chicken nachos. If you're craving a burger, the Bison one is really good--I just add additional condiments to it and get truffle cheese fries. And if you have time for dessert, do not sleep on their Bourbon cake...it's sooooo good! We stopped by Eureka after a hockey game and overall had a good experience. This location definitely has a different vibe than the eurekas I'm used to this one is dark, moody, and chill. It wasn't bad, but personally I'm not a fan of eating in such low lighting...I felt like I was in an action movie scene the whole time. It's great for a drink only spot. Food-wise, everything we ordered was solid. The chicken sandwich was tasty, the poke stack was yummy as always, and the fried pickles were great. Gross!! The females have to share a small 2-stall restroom with the guys. That results in women walking into toilet stalls that looked like this. Yes, I had to use the restroom 2 times during our night there and this is what I walked into both times. My nachos came out looking like they had been microwaved into a single, stuck-together slab. No texture, no care, just... inedible. My friend's BBQ burger had no sauce whatsoever -- just dry bread, meat, and garnish. Even the fries were overly salted. And this is someone who never complains or sends food back, but even he couldn't eat it. We gave the nachos a second chance. That was a mistake A woman in a black blazer (manager, presumably) dropped off the replacement with a quick "hope these are better" and walked away. No apology, no check-in, no ownership. And no -- they were not better. Same issue, same lack of quality What's most concerning is not just the kitchen, but the complete absence of management. If you're on the floor in a leadership role, the expectation is accountability -- not indifference. The lack of awareness and follow-through was louder than anything else that went wrong. You would think something that would be overpowering, but it was the opposite. It had such a smooth, flavorful, tiki-style vibe that was dangerously good. We got my daughter a quesadilla from the kids menu and it states it comes with a side unless we want to upgrade for a different side not listed there for $3 more. I ordered her fruit which was listed on there and they still charged us $3. The drinks were also underwhelming, my go-to is the spa day margarita but it didn't have the foam it usually comes with and didn't taste the same either. When we ordered a second round of drinks it took about 20 minutes to receive them and once I got my drink I noticed the glass was broken. I've been to the Eureka in Palm Springs before and had an amazing meal, so I was excited to try it again. This time, I ordered the barbecue bacon burger. It was pretty good overall, but a little on the dry side, and I wasn't the biggest fan of the barbecue sauce--it had a strong tomato flavor that just wasn't for me. The first time I remember being under strict diet rules, so I was only able to order a chicken Cesar salad. My son ordered a salad instead of fries and the cold salad was served on a hot plate. My niece ordered a chicken sandwich and it was so over done she could only eat half it was so hard on ONE side. To start, the service here is excellent. Our server, Trinity was very attentive and did a great job! There also wasn't a wait for us, but we also arrived a few minutes after they opened. The atmosphere on the inside is really nice! It feels more upscale but has a chill vibe at the same time. The food here was also excellent. Stopped by here on a road trip mainly because it was one of the few restaurants that was open late. It's located next to a hotel. There's plenty of parking behind the restaurant shared with the hotel I believe. It wasn't too busy late at night and the service was prompt. It had a modern bar like feel to it but it was quite chilly inside. Not sure if it's because we were just seated under the AC. The food was typical bar food and portions were generous. I've been a patron of Eureka for a long time. Back when Claremont was one of two locations... because the IE had really any other restaurant like Eureka. The gourmet burger boom was born, and an oasis in the desert of the IE was this place. I definitely am not as faithful as I used to be, but when my wife and I have a rare few hours without the kids to hang out on a Saturday night, I realize there's a Eureka nearby, the location I'm reviewing now. I swear I was at the Claremont location a little less than a year ago and thought, wow, the prices are still pretty solid in this new era of eating out... both food and drink. WRONG. I don't know if it's just because this location is right next to Toyota Arena, but the prices are funny on a Buffalo Trace sour. $17.50... it's like I'm at some dumb old school steakhouse. At least they make the sour well here? Uncharted Forests was a banger of a cocktail. This was their saving grace. It was nice to see some really nice creativity in a cocktail when this chain is getting bigger and more watered down. The salad changes were bad. The rib tips getting axed from the menu is still unforgivable. They eliminate their most iconic trademark appetizer... just because? Every server I talk to when I come back, they all say the same thing. The faithful patrons all bemoan this dumb decision. When we first walked in, the two girls greeting/seating looked almost perturbed that we had interrupted the conversation. I had to sit there for a good few seconds before they looked at us and then another couple of seconds before I got tired of waiting for a decent "hello" or "good evening" and just said, "there's two of us." One of these girls while we were dining was sweeping up around the tables, sticking the broom under the table and around a patron's feet while they were still eating. It was weird. What can you expect when the place keeps expanding the chain? Watered down. I guess if you're in a pinch, they do make better cocktails than most other places around. If you're gonna be overcharged for a sour, at least it's pretty good. Oh, and they did improve the cherries. The steak nachos had your average decent steak, glazed with some sauces, what looked to be black beans as well. The nachos were decent, nothing to ride home about. Their boneless wings were also decent, Wingstop quality. The burger was the typical burger you get at these restaurants that charge you $19. Meat was pretty tender, ingredients tasted pretty fresh, overall not too bad.
