Everytime I go here, I ask myself why. It's a very depressing place, and the regulars are very cliqish and unfriendly. the bartenders are nice enough, but the patrons made me feel like an intruder, and anyone I attempted to engage in conversation treated me with suspicion and thinly disguised contempt. read more

The drinks were cheap so it gets 1 star but the "Spicy Bitch" drink I ordered for my wife was awful and was not made with the same liquor as it said on the table menu. It didn't even look the same. The place was empty for a Saturday night and the people that were there looked at us as if we didn't belong (we didn't). It had a very dive bar feel to it like a fight could break out at any minute. Two stars because the crowd was great! The Hide A While is a bar on the south side of Foothill between Hellman and Archibald. I visited on a Sunday night and the crowd at the bar was very friendly. The bar tender did karaoke and seemed to be having a great time. Unfortunately my drink was horrible and when I asked for her to fix it she was highly offended told me I was being rude. Nobody wants to pay for a horrible drink, in no way shape or form was I trying to be rude. Sadly, the Sunday night bar tender is way to young and immature to be working at a bar of that capacity. read more

We play organized basketball league in Rancho Cucamonga every Thursday night. Last night after the game, we decided to find a place to hangout and we found this place. 4 min drive from the basketball gym. It's like a neighborhood bar kinna type place, on my opinion. Inside we met the coolest ever bartender name "Paula". I felt I was a regular ever customer already and her customer service skills was high fantastic. We found a spot for Thursday night after the game. We surely and definitely will be back again. I'm giving a shoutout to our new local friends especially to Charlie and friends. read more

I came here to have a drink and listen to music. An elderly woman next to me asked me to play a couple of older songs. I obliged. The bartender Shaun Noel got in my face and told me that music was not appreciated in her bar. I disagreed and abruptly left. As I was walking out of the bar, she told me I was no longer welcome in her bar and not come back. Is this good customer service? She needs to be replaced with a bartender that cares about customer service and treating her customers right. She lacks greatly in this area. Her manager needs to pull in the reins; she is out of line. read more

First time at this dive bar. I didn't know what to expect when I opened the door but it was lively! There was music playing and a couple was playing pool. The bar top area was pretty full but we managed to find two spots. The bartender looked like she was having a good time with everyone. She came over, greeted us and took our drink order. The juke box was playing some great familiar songs. I downloaded the app and ordered a few songs myself. My phone battery was low from traveling and the bartender was nice enough to tell me about the charging stations. My husband went over to Taco Hut and brought us back a few tacos. We sat at the bar drinking margaritas, eating tacos and enjoying ourselves. I'm glad we decided to check out this place we will be back. read more

My friend and I were in search of a bar one Sunday night. We had cruised around rancho and all our regular places were closed, and we wanted to be spontaneous and find something new. We were driving towards on Archibald, when I remembered that I had seen a bar near the 24hr autozone that we frequent, so we turned into the parking lot, and voila, shiny new bar Well, maybe not shiny, and maybe not new, but to us it was. It looked exactly what a five bar should look like, a little sketch on the outside with a small sign and a metal door, barely enough to indicate it's existence. We excitedly walked in, and saw a few people in there. There was one bartender to about 8 people, maybe 10. We sat down, and we waited a bit before she gave us her attention. We ordered our first round, and we conversed a bit. It was a bit awkward because you could tell most of the people were regulars. There was a guy that kept staring us down, but he looked too drunk to really do any harm. One of the girls started yelling about how non whites need to go back to where they came from, and as I looked around, I realized that I was the only non white person in the bar. The so we finished our 2nd round quickly and left. The wait was long, but the drinks were made pretty well, the bartender was nice when she would give us her attention. I guess it wasnt too horrible for a dive bar. read more

It's mostly a locals dive bar, a friend lived in the area so we met up to catch up and ended up here for drinks. It's a pretty shady area at night, but during the day it seems alright. It seems like the place where they have regulars go to. Everyone seems to know most of who everyone is. There's no smoking indoors, so they have a back patio area where you can go to smoke and come back inside. They have one billiards table and a juke box for entertainment. The drinks were decently priced and the atmosphere was pretty welcoming when I went. Overall it was alright. read more

Hubby and I were looking for a local dive bar. Sadly, this place isn't for us. No beers on tap, only bottles. My thing is margaritas--unfortunately, it was mediocre. It tasted like a melted pre-made frozen margarita. And to boot, if you use a card you to pay, it's a $2 transaction fee that I don't see posted anywhere.
