I've visited this lounge many times. Because I travel for work frequently, I'm here about once a month and have been for the past year. A quick note: this review applies only to the Aspire Lounge in Terminal 4. I have not visited the Terminal 2 location at Ontario International Airport. Having visited a wide range of airline lounges, I have plenty of points of comparison. Overall, I'd rate this lounge a solid 3 out of 5. It's not great, but it's not terrible either -- kind of like the airport itself. The staff do a good job keeping the lounge reasonably clean. I've never seen food scattered on the floor or overflowing trash cans. Contrary to some other reviews, I've also never had any issues with the staff. They've always seemed friendly and helpful. Another plus is that the lounge has never been overly crowded during my visits, so finding a seat hasn't been a problem. It's also fairly spacious, especially for a smaller airport. Some other Aspire lounges I've visited are tiny, consistently packed, and so cramped that moving around with luggage can be difficult. But it does have some issues. First, the coffee situation is surprisingly bad. This may not matter much for some, but having a good cup of coffee is one of the things I look forward to in a lounge. Ontario Airport doesn't have a lot of other options here either, as many of the other places that serve coffee close late afternoon and the vending machines are hit or miss (I've definitely lost some money in these). A while back, they replaced the cappuccino and specialty coffee machine, which frequently malfunctioned, with a newer machine that uses coffee packets to make different drinks. Unfortunately, the new machine rarely works either. I would say that in my last six visits, it worked once. Even then, the only available options were flavored coffee and decaf. Most of the time, there's simply a Post-it note on the machine stating that it's out of service. As for the drip coffee, it's not much better. When it's available, it often appears to have been sitting out for a long time. Second, the lounge hours are puzzling. Some days it closes as early as 6:00 p.m., which seems far too early given the number of flights departing later in the evening. About an hour before closing, staff block off half the lounge and begin making frequent closing announcements. On other days, however, the lounge remains open until 11:00 p.m. If you're coming here for the first time and have an early evening flight, definitely check ahead to see if its open. Finally, the Wi-Fi has been unreliable. I've haven't successfully connected to the Aspire guest network the last few times I've been here. The login page appears, but there doesn't seem to be any way to complete the connection process. The airport's Wi-Fi network, flyONT, has been similarly unreliable and often won't connect either, so that's not an option either. This is the only airport and lounge where I've consistently experienced these issues. Overall, the lounge is okay if you need a quiet place to sit and relax before your flight. I hope they address the coffee and Wi-Fi issues, though. read more

If you have a late night Starlux flight, you're in luck - after 6 pm this becomes a Starlux only lounge so it's not crowded + plenty of food and drinks. Food quality is not great, but if you stick to snacks, veg and booze youll be fine. Comfy setting with lots of quiet nooks to pass the time until boarding. If you can fly outta here instead of LAX, definitely do it! read more

It's layout is pretty refreshing since this is my first time coming in here. I usually visit the one in terminal 2 when I travel internationally. It opens at 4AM and that's awesome! Friendly staff and the food station is positioned against a way and that's pretty good and feels much more open compared with T2 Aspire. Highly recommend and will be back. read more

What's up: First time here! It was my first time flying out of Ontario Airport so I was excited to hear that they had a lounge that I could access with Priority Pass. Transit: Took an Uber to the airport and was conveniently dropped off right in front of the terminal. Environment: Located in Terminal 4, the lounge was not too far from our departure gate. We showed our Priorty Pass QR code and were allowed access. They have various hot foods as well as many drinks to choose from. The place had comfy chairs and various outlets that we could plug in to top off our electronics. It was well lit and very clean. There's a gender neutral restroom located not too far from the bar area. Staff members were friendly and came by often to collect used dishes. Yay/Nay/Meh: Yay. The lounge was a nice perk to have while we were waiting for our flight (it was slightly delayed). It wasn't too busy and the place was clean. Food and drink choices were nice too. read more

Wow! This lounge is small, clean and has all the amenities I needed for a short wait time at the airport. Love the cool kitchen appliances they have such as the pancake maker! They also have full can sodas! Overall, great service and the staff are very on top of replenishing the items. read more

Staff were quite good, friendly, welcoming, and flexible. The lounge is nice with plenty and a variety of comfy seating. There were different seating spaces, some quiet, some more public. I appreciated the festive Christmas decorations as a good reminder, in all the hustle and bustle of traveling, to slow down and ponder why Christ was born and the significance of it. There was a nice variety of food and drinks. There was a bathroom Inside the lounge which is convenient. So thankful that I can hang out in a more quiet peaceful place while I am waiting for my flight. read more

After a fairly lengthy flight from Nashville, my wife and I wanted to "productively" utilize the layover + flight delay time before the final leg of our travel back to Sacramento. Thankfully, we found this lounge which happened to be in close proximity to our gate. The employee working the front desk (who also served as the bartender) warmly greeted and checked us in. Although the lounge was set to close within an hour, there was plenty of food (i.e., small bites) available for consumption. My wife and I treated ourselves to a healthy serving of their delicious chicken wings, along with making a mini- charcuterie board using the available items (i.e., cheese, meat, olives). When we desired a drink, the employee that checked us in, poured my wife a generous serving of wine and made me a delicious whiskey sour. While we consumed our food and drinks, we enjoyed watching Shrek on the television located by the bar. This lounge is clean (it even has an in-lounge restroom), provides exceptional customer service, and is well-stocked with food and drink options...I highly recommend checking it out! read more

Nice lounge in Terminal 4 of the Ontario Airport. It's not a very big lounge, but they do well with crowd control to make it comfortable for patrons. They have a good amount of food/snack options. Window seating allows you to see planes land. The bar seems well stocked. They offer plenty of drink options. Their espresso machine is currently broken, but they do have regular coffee/tea and Nitro cold brew on tap. The staff were all very nice and are constantly cleaning, picking up plates/cups at the tables and stocking the food items. They only have 1 all gender restroom for the whole lounge, but I never saw any long waits to use it. There was one lady that I wish I'd gotten her name who provided great service (shorter girl with dark hair and ponytail). We had arrived ~3:40 minutes before our flight and the lounge only allows entry 3 hrs prior to your flight, so we sat in some seats outside the lounge to wait 40 minutes before trying to enter again. Just as we were going to try entering again, that lady came out to tell us that we can enter. I was surprised that she remembered us and actually came outside to tell us we can enter the lounge. During our 2+ hrs there she can be seen cleaning and clearing the tables as well as checking people in. She is the perfect employee for the lounge and hopefully eventual promotion to management. read more

I tried this out on my recent trip out of ONT and was pleased with the experience. It is clean with lots of seating, work areas, and tables for eating. Full bar available, pod coffee machines, soft drinks, juices, food and snacks. Staff is friendly and very accommodating. They were very fast in cleaning up your dishes and cups when you finished your meals. A day pass is available for a relatively decent price and some AmEx cards give you free entry. read more

The Aspire Lounge is a decent place to relax, grab a few snacks and recharge. It is pretty clean and quiet. That said, it is not a place to get a full meal. There are snacks and finger foods but not really enough for a dinner. I visited in the early evening and the food looked a bit old. The food was not the healthiest but most airport food is not. If you compared this to other airport lounges then you might be very disappointed. However, if you consider that this is a small lounge at a small airport, then you would feel better about it. read more

One of the most accessible airports but the lounge wasn't this last go round. There was a 1 hour wait for 2 people on a Monday. I think it was the heavy Coachella travelers. The host at the front was doing the best she can with the line. Once we were called to come in, we were assisted by man who was fairly rude escorting us to a specific table when there were 3 others open. We ended up moving to another table of our choice. Food is decent, bar is small but doable. There are plenty of other seating- couch/lounge style - but those were taken up. The water machine was broken but they provide table top beverage dispenser with ice. It was empty with just ice. The entire time we were there, no one came to refill it. We opted to get a can of gingerale in the fridge. In the past, this lounge was much more pleasant. Because I like this airport, chances are I will be back and hope to see improvement. read more

Glad there's a priority pass lounge at Ontario airport. Although it can't compare to nicer lounges overseas, this one gets the job done. They have a bar, fridge with sodas/sparking water, and a hot bar for some finger foods and soup. The lounge is decent for a quick pit stop before your flight and it can get busy since it's the only lounge at Ontario. Always a good place to stop by. read more

Aspire Lounges did a nice renovation to this lounge. Half of the lounge feels like a contemporary lounge and the other half feels like a cafe. We were welcomed with a smile and friendly conversation at check in. The staff is prompt with bussing tables and collecting used plates and glasses. George is great - really engaging! For breakfast they had hot bacon, sausage, breakfast potatoes, mini breakfast burritos, scrambled eggs, and oatmeal. A full spread of pasties, breads and bagels - all individually wrapped. Individually brewed espresso drinks with a full array of milks, and nitro cold brew on tap! I look forward to coming back in November. read more

Stopped by this lounge every time flying American out of ONT from T4 and always have a great experience. Food and beverages are on point with good selection and quality including bar service. Service is top notch, prompt in keeping the place clean, removing unused dishes, and ensuring everyone's need is taken care of. Shout out to George who is always upbeat, warm, and provides good customer experience overall as he embraces ownership like this is his own business. Not a big place but plenty of seating area with tables and chairs, or nice comfy cushioned couches all around. We sat on two high back chairs that George directed us to and he was right nice view comfortable chairs nice private spot just inside the entrance. Great to relax away from the crowds. This Aspire Lounge is better than the Amex Platinum lounges at the bigger airports. 1) The entry process and wait time if any literally takes seconds. 2) The variety of the food is tremendous and way better than the bigger Amex lounges. Lovely mini burritos, delicious and fresh parfaits with fresh fruit, gorgeous small biscuits with excellent gravy. 3) This is a chill, stress free, small but so is the airport and traffic establishment with no rush and no fuss. 4) The couches are so comfortable. 5) They have a better selection of canned sodas including Coke, Mountain Dew & Dr Pepper. 6) The coffee is amazing. 7) George is the MAN! Kind, welcoming, professional, on top of his game and ensuring all is well from the great and painless check in to replenishing the food to picking up dishes all while having fun with everybody. This is one of the smaller airport lounges I've been too. But its also a really small airport. Was checked in by Rashawn. He really hooked us up in the checking in process. Super friendly and personable. Kept us up to date as to when the lunch items were coming out, as they were transitioning over from breakfast. They have a good selection of food items. Soup, salads, chicken wings, meatballs, flat bread and ither things. Their sausages from breakfast was really good too. You have some drinks in the mini fridge you can leave with. Its well stocked. The bar area was great too. Genesis was working the counter and she did a great job. Attentive. Got us our drinks quickly. And they tasted pretty good too. Being such a small hotel everything is quickly reached by walking. Just pay attention to your boarding time. But a great way to burn a couple hours enjoying free drinks and food in a clean and not too busy (if you find a seat) environment. read more

I think this is my first review of a lounge. I have priority pass, and it's my first time flying out of ONT. Delighted to find that there was a lounge here accessible to me, since LAX got rid of all of their priority pass benefits in Bradley. In comparison with other international lounges, this one is probably ranked near the bottom in terms of food selection (think, salad-ish bar, potato and pasta salads, teriyaki meatballs, chicken wings...), but I found the service very friendly, the lounge quiet and cozy. It's a tad bit cold in here, but I prefer that to being warm. Nice relaxed place to chill before my flight. read more

IMPORTANT: Priority Pass holders and pay-per-use guests should be aware that the extended hours on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays are reserved for Amex Platinum and Starlux premium passengers; other guests will be turned away after 6 p.m. The food is surprisingly good for a second-tier airport lounge, with wings, sliders, salad, and rice dishes. The windows have nice views of the apron and runways. The space features both dinner tables and lounge chairs. Plenty of coffee, soft drinks, and free alcohol options; some premium alcohol available for an extra charge. read more

I recently visited the lounge in Terminal 4 after having used the Terminal 2 lounge, which was fantastic. Unfortunately, my experience in Terminal 4 was completely unacceptable and easily one of the worst lounge experiences I've had anywhere in the world. The new manager in Terminal 4 was shockingly rude and aggressive. I needed to take a soda with me for my flight, and he literally grabbed two sodas out of my hands and told me I was not allowed to have them. I am not exaggerating -- he physically took them from me. It was incredibly unprofessional and hostile behavior. Beyond that, the overall service was awful. The staff attitude was unfriendly, the food offerings were poor, and the atmosphere felt anything but welcoming. I've visited lounges from Centurion to American Airlines, Delta, and many international lounges in places like London, and this was by far the worst service I've encountered. This manager clearly does not understand hospitality, customer service, or how to properly treat guests. If management is reading this review, I strongly urge you to address this situation immediately. He is damaging your brand and driving customers away. read more

I was recently flying out of ONT for a domestic flight and was placed in Terminal 4 for departure. And after recently receiving complimentary Priority Pass from one of my credit card benefits, I figured I'd head over to the Aspire Lounge to escape the crowded chaos that is the ONT airport terminal. For my experience, I was able to access this lounge on a Tuesday around 6:00AM in the morning. Walking into the lounge, I was warmly greeted by the front desk attendant who had me scan my Priority Pass Membership along with the boarding passes for myself and one of my guests (Note that depending on how crowded the lounge is and what benefits you have, the lounge may restrict access accordingly). From this point, I was given access immediately. Looking at the price of entry, the numbers seemed to differ from the various online sources I checked out. But from what I understood, the price of entry without a membership is 37 dollars per person. At this price, the Aspire Lounge could potentially be worth it if you have a long layover, are looking to eat a hefty sum of food/drinks, or just need a place to sit and work before your flight. But personally for me, I only found it to be worth it with my Priority Pass Select Membership. "Price to Portion" will vary. Walking inside allowed me to turn either to the left and to the right. To my right was the lounge section which included a variety of seats from barstools to full couches. To my left had the buffet line and the full-service bar; I sought to try out the food first! For a small lounge, the buffet was vast with many options. Of many things, I found the grab and go sodas, pastries, and hot oatmeal to be nice touches to the lounge. But of all of the offerings, I was happy to see a section of warm breakfast items like scrambled eggs and French Toast. Trying the oatmeal first, the texture was perfect with just the right ratio of water to oats. With a little brown sugar on top, the oatmeal was just sweet enough. For next, the scrambled eggs were pretty standard with their spongy texture. But combined with the very thin, light, and crispy bacon, I enjoyed the savory flavor both were able to achieve together. The hashbrown I had leaned closer to the soggy side, but was still crispy enough to enjoy. And for next, the French Toast pieces had just the right amount of powdered sugar on top to make it lightly sweet. For last, the hardboiled egg tasted fresh and was filling enough to enjoy. Looking at the drinks, the buffet line had a variety of milks and an assortment of juice. And from this selection, I had a few glasses of Honey Crisp Apple Juice which tasted both chilled and fresh. With a variety of breakfast options, I was happy with the amount of food available. And with very little people in the lounge so early in the morning, I was able to enjoy my food in a quiet environment. The lounge was maintained nicely, the bathrooms were in great condition, and the main area was very clean which made it much more enjoyable. This being said, I would definitely return to this lounge again if I am back at ONT for a flight and would argue the Aspire Lounge in Terminal 4 is a solid 5 out of 5! If you're boasting a Priority Pass Membership, this lounge is a must visit! read more
