So disappointed!! You can tell Roscoe's changed hands Servers aren't as friendly and food is barely adequate. My husband and I use to share a Rueben and the one I got today was awful. I literally spit it out in a napkin. It's totally different than it used to be to be. Barely any meat. I tried moving it around on the bread which is way too thick now and it couldn't even cover the bread. A tsp of sauerkraut and no 1000 island dressing. Sadly I think we are done with this place. Attention my friends Walk in and it's open seating! No need to stand around waiting for a host to seat you! Once you find a seat an employee will acknowledge you! From there they are very attentive you will see their team work come in to play! Came to Roscoes with the family a few weeks back as they love this spot- I had never been. It was busy and very lively on a Friday night. I was really impressed by the service here. We had several different people coming to check on us throughout our meal and they were all really nice. Super accommodating in my opinion as well. I like veggies in my pasta but they didn't offer that, so they told me they could give me a side of steamed veggies instead and that worked perfectly for me to add it myself. My grandma is also a bit picky, lol. She didn't like the way her fries came out and they were more than happy to replace them for her. Not pictured; my chile mango margarita. It was yummy, and if you like a stronger pour this is your place to go. I also ordered the fettuccine alfredo with no meat. Let me just say for a casual dining place these servers and bussers were on top of it all night. My friend and I stopped by Roscoe's to watch the Lakers game. I had no idea that it was basically Heroes with sandwiches so when I walked in, I was kind of surprised. We mainly stopped in for drinks. I paid almost $19 for an Old Fashioned, which came out to over $20 after tax. Finally made it to Roscoes for Sunday brunch. Staff were super kind and very attentive. Vibe is casual and fun, and is more bar than restaurant. That being said, opted for salad for lunch. It was large and steak was delicious. Others in my party ordered steak and eggs, pastrami sandwiches and French toast. Price point was a little high but portions were quite large and everything was fresh, so worth paying a little more. They have a full deli where their pastrami comes from so you can see what you're getting. One person in our party is gluten free (not by choice), but no gluten free options for sandwiches, which was a little disappointing, but there are other gluten free options if you don't want a sandwich, french toast, pancakes or burger. On game days, expect this place to be really loud, but a great place to hang out and have fun. They also have outdoor seating . The ceviche was unique, it's on the sweeter side of ceviche, of course you can ask for more lemons to squeeze on it. But they've got lots of drinks, a lot more on the menu, and great service. This last time we decided to try the breakfast, and we were a bit disappointed. My meal came out cold like it had been sitting around. My wife's food was plain and under seasoned. They did remake my breakfast. So this review is an avg rating - 4 stars for sandwiches and 2 stars for breakfast. We will have to come back and retry the breakfast.
