    Basque breakfast
    Kathleen C.

This is a surprising place. Small building dry dark and no windows. Inside the friendliest waitress you could meet. She brought out toast with butter and hot sauce. She next instructed us to put the hot sauce on the buttered toast. This was a first to me but it was delicious! We ordered the basque breakfast which included Serrano ham, sausage, bacon, eggs and potatoes. It was enough for my husband and me to share. The potatoes could've used a little seasoning but truly a satisfying meal.

    Portuguese sausage patty with eggs.

Portuguese sausage patty and eggs is what I ordered. Very good! Your choice of beans or potatoes. They will bring you two pieces of French bread with real butter. Anyone looking for a morning cocktail they have a full bar. Bloody mary? Yes please. Good service. Nice ladies operating the business. Seating is tables or bar top. Open Mon- Fri.

On a Monday morning made a stop at this place. Yummy food and great service. Only open till 3pm, but definitely didn't disappoint. Bread butter and salsa is my favorite. If you haven't tried this staple in chino it's a must. Claudia and staff are amazing they make sure you are satisfied before leaving. I can eat here every day if I could. I will return soon.

I came here to use their truck scale that is also owned and used outside the restaurant. I didn't know they had a restaurant too until I drove by. They do close at 3pm. The younger woman took my order, I tried their Breakfast steak ($17) and got their iced tea to go. For their iced tea, they gave it by half liter bottles. The breakfast steak can come with sides of refried beans, country potatoes, and eggs to your liking. They also give out a small appetizer of toasted bread with butter. They do have salsa and hot salsa that they make as well. The spicy salsa goes well with the eggs and steak. The steak was tender and cooked to my liking. The owner also gave out lollipops to customers too. The staff is nice and the place is clean.

This little cafe is honestly a very nice place. I had initially passed it while I was looking for where it was but thankfully I found my way back. The ambiance in here is very cozy and welcoming, which made dining in here very enjoyable. The service was amazing as well, we had the younger server greet and take care of us while we dined, and she was very nice and made sure we were doing alright. And of course the food not only looked amazing it was delicious and very worth the price. I'd definitely recommend coming here as they have very many options to choose from when it comes to breakfast and lunch. A hidden gem here that I will definitely be visiting again :)

I found this coffee shop near me so I decided to go with my sister in law. We arrived 10mins before closing time so I was excited to make it on time. Apparently the ridiculously rude young lady working there wasn't having it. She took a couple minutes to take our order since putting in the patio furniture was more important. When she finally finished, she came to the counter with a horrible attitude asking what we wanted. My sister in law wanted a hot coffee and she refused to served it since the machine was "off" already. Then she proceeded to order a banana iced coffee (don't know the name) and again the lady refused to make it since it was one of their most "complicated" drinks to make. We ended up ordering two "quick and easy" ice drinks. We asked if she was working alone... this lady only had rude comments and answers to say (smart ass). It is unfortunate to be treated that way specially when it was my first time there. It is also very unfortunate that the Spanish Latte I ordered was delicious, BUT I will never be returning or recommending this place due to the horrible customer service. I have family in the coffee business and customer service is always a priority, not at this location. Very disappointed with whoever hired her and trained her.

If you're looking for that rich deep orange yolk, you'll likely find it here. I find that their eggs do not always have that deep orange yolk, but it often does! I finally tried their Ugleez ($12.50/30 eggs) and besides being "ugly" and much lighter in color on the outside, they were delicious and had the perfect orange yolk! See my photos for comparison with their Jumbo ($12/20 eggs). It's a steal to get the Ugleez if you aren't looking for a massively huge egg and still want that farm fresh quality!

I came to this drive-through farm instead of Maust Farms across the street, and there are…read moredefinitely pros and cons to both. This location is convenient and accessible because it's a drive-through, although traffic can get backed up. The eggs are also more expensive than the ones across the street, and in reality, I really couldn't tell which ones were better. I know some people are sticklers about eggs, but I honestly couldn't see much of a difference between the blue eggs I got from Maust Farms and the brown eggs from here. My biggest issue with this place was the amount of fecal matter on the eggs. That wasn't exactly appetizing, especially compared with the eggs across the street, which were much cleaner. I know farm-fresh eggs aren't always going to look perfectly clean, but for what I paid, I expected them to be cleaner. I originally thought you weren't really supposed to wash farm-fresh eggs with water, but when there's visible fecal matter on the shells, obviously you want to clean them before using them. I later learned that you can buy an enzymatic egg wash specifically made for cleaning fresh eggs and that the water should be warmer rather than cold when washing. Using cold water can cause the contents of the egg to contract and potentially draw contaminants through the porous shell. So if you're coming to this location, I would recommend knowing how to properly clean and store farm-fresh eggs, especially if yours are as dirty as some of mine were. The people here were very nice, and the drive-through is definitely convenient. However, between the higher price and how dirty the eggs were, I'll most likely go across the street next time.

Food has always been good, especially their waffles and in-house syrup- my favorite ! And I appreciate the expansion of their menu. Unfortunately over the past couple of years I've noticed a decline in their customer service. I know it's also under new ownership, I'm not sure if that's why but our past few visits have been disappointing due to the costumer service. I won't say all, but several of their employees have been rude and just unprofessional. It's not so much what the employees say, but more so their tone of voice and delivery. They need to work on being more friendly and hospitable to their customers. Also, the last couple of times our orders have been wrong. One time they completely forgot my husband's meal, and another time they added on two extra meals. I get sometimes these things happen but it's how they respond after and their willingness to make it right with the customer that's been aggravating. Maybe the employees should be trained to read back orders to avoid this from happening? After these instances, I now ask the cashier to repeat my order but I haven't experienced a cashier be pro-active in doing that on their own without me asking. I've had experience in the restaurant industry for many years as a server and hostess so I'm well aware of good customer service especially dealing with rushes and hangry costumers. I know this restaurant gets busy, and rightfully so for their good food and history, but it seems in their employee's tone of voice and facial expressions that they are not happy to be there to serve their customers. We dealt with a cashier who couldn't smile and looked so over it and just annoyed taking our order, the food runners sometimes have an attitude. A smile goes a long way !! I just hope to see an improvement in their customer service because we used to really love coming here.
