I was looking forward to trying this place but it was a total let down. When we walked in the waitress said Hello but then blatantly ignored us when we let her know we wanted a table for two. It was weird. After we were seated an older, angry looking man took our drink order. He brought the worst cup of coffee I've ever had. He was not approachable at all so I didn't tell him. I let the waitress know and she brought a new coffee. It was still gross but at this point we just gave up. The waitress never checked on us, she just kept walking past us, never acknowledging us. We will not be returning. I doubt they care but enough people will find out how horrible the service is & how mediocre the food is maybe they'll make a change. read more

Flo's was not crowded today. We waited less than 10 minutes. Normally this would have been between 30 minutes to an hour wait. Wife ordered the Flo's omelette. It is the same as a veggie omelette but with sausage. I ordered the country fried steak, egged over medium, crispy hash browns with biscuits and gravy. I wanted them separately because they normally add the biscuits and gravy on top of your hash browns. Food was great. I almost ate it all. The biscuits were moist and the gravy was delicious. The wife also loved her omelette. Service was also great. To be honest, I like going to the airport better just because of the ambience. But we will be back. read more

Really love breakfast at Flo's. Both this location and at the airport. Breakfasts are large portions, tasty, and hearty. I had the cinnamon bun French toast and it was great. Way too much to eat and had to take most of the French toast home for breakfast the next day Service is very good. My litmus test for a breakfast place is if my coffee cup goes empty. My wife ordered the waffle and I ordered the chicken fried steak with biscuits. The place was packed and the portions were huge. The waffle was good, nothing super special just good. The CFS and Biscuits was huge and disappointing. No flavor, steak was greasy, no flavor and beef was chewy. The hash browns mixed in with the egg, biscuits and gravy to create a bit of a slop. This was all about the caloric intake and bulk eating. I ate about 1/3rd of the steak and a little bit of the mush. Overall, place was kind of rundown with that 1970's vibe. Old folks eating slop. Sorry i couldn't be more positive. Its been years since I've been to the airport location, dont remember it being this bad. As a alternative I would choose Roscoes they have similar portion size with higher quality food for a little bit more. Definitely regretted not going there. read more

Yesterday our party of six pilots ate lunch at Flo's Airport Cafe, Chino. The service was prompt and courteous. The one-star rating is due to the experience of one member of our group who had food poisoning and the reception of the working manager when notified. Within a couple hours of eating lunch, one of our members got sick with GI symptoms. He'd ordered a patty melt and macaroni salad. After taking a couple bites of the latter, our member discovered it was room temperature (warm), not cold. He did not consume more of the salad nor notify the waitress. The next day, two members of the group spoke to the working manager (name withheld). They wished to advise her of the incident and correct her observation that food poisoning cannot happen within a couple hours. In fact, symptoms from the most common types of food poisoning will often start within 2 to 6 hours of eating the food, sometimes within 30 minutes. Furthermore, the temperature of a food item may be determined at the time it's sampled. She failed to understand that food safety is a priority for customers; failed to show concern for this consumer; and failed to assume responsibility for his illness. read more

This restaurant has most ridiculous policy regarding purchasing one of their whole pies. The manager does not allow the staff to sell a whole pie on Thursdays. They have whole pies on display, but they cannot be sold today. I was told to come in tomorrow on Friday and purchase a pie. The celebration I wanted the pie for is today and not tomorrow. How crazy is this. Isn't the reason you are in business is to sell your food? It is 30 minutes before they close and I can't buy a pie. It is not like the customers they have in the restaurant now are going to want to buy every slice of pie they have. They get fresh pies delivered on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so it is not like they are low on pies today. Any other restaurant/bakery would be happy to make the sale. I ended up going elsewhere. Had breakfast here today with my daughter, our first time at this location. We like to go to the airport Flo's. We're having our breakfast and there's this group of gentlemen having their breakfast and talking about military service. I thought it'd be a nice gesture to pay for their meal as a Thanks for your service. I didn't want to make a big deal about it, so after I paid for my meal at my table, we got up and walked towards the exit and I asked the hostess if I can pay for their meal, but I didn't want them to know. She called over their waitress and told her what I wanted to do and the first thing out of her mouth was "my tip, they give a big tip". I told her I would tip her, she again said "they tip big". I asked how much, I would match it. She wouldn't tell me. Their bill was $90 something dollars and I left her $40 tip. I won't be coming to this location anymore. I know times are tough, but I wanted to do something nice for those gentlemen and somehow I left feeling horrible. read more

Perfect! We ate there this morning and only had to wait about 10 minutes for a table. Their patio was set up nice for outdoor dining and they followed Covid protocols nicely as well. Had the most humiliating experience today. Took my elderly mother out to an early lunch after her Dr. appointment. My mom ordered a breakfast that came with toast. The toast came out with butter already on the bread. Unfortunately this is not a way my mother could eat it for health reasons. We asked our server Terry, if we could possibly get bread with no butter and her response was completely unprofessional. She yelled at my mother (who had visible heart monitors hooked up to her) Saying she was wasting food and should be more considerate. Speaking in a way as if my mother was a child. My stomach fell to the floor. I was amazed at this treatment and Ill never forget the look on my moms face. I am not one for making scenes so we got up, paid for our food, and left. The server double-checked with me when I said no eggs, no meat, and no butter, which made me think that perhaps no one had ever ordered a breakfast burrito without eggs or meat before. But she was very nice about it. The restaurant was filled with regulars, and the staff were friendly.
