The flavor is there, the portion is there, and honestly, for the price point, it's hard to complain about what's inside the wrapper. Now for the part that's harder to overlook: the drive-through. I genuinely cannot remember the last time I got out of this place in under 30 minutes, and I'm not talking about pulling up to a packed lunch rush. One car ahead of me. Thirty minutes. There's something fundamentally broken in the operational flow here, and for a fast food establishment, that's a problem that goes beyond a bad day. It's consistent. Great vibes and accommodating staff, but the food didn't fully satisfy my expectations.

The fam wanted a good burger and I remember seeing their IG and decided to drive here. The restaurant is clean and the ambiance is nice with roomy booths for larger parties. Everyone loved their meal. The cheeseburger is everything you want from the fresh veggies to the charbroiled patty. My son decided on their sausage breakfast burrito. The portion of the burrito is shareable but, my son devoured the entire burrito on his own. I ordered chili cheese fries with my combo and my only complaint is the fries were slightly salty. The best part aside from the food is their great service! Our meals were brought to our table and we were provided with condiments upon request. I can't believe places like this still exist and I am so grateful! There were some old pictures of menus so I thought the prices must have inflated but they really haven't much. I think that the value is really great here. You get a ton of food for a good price. We shared the pastrami fries and could not finish it. We tried their burger the next time and it's that old school burger joint flavor that I love. The people working all seemed really happy and sounded like they all got along as there was laughing behind the counter. We got our food super fast, sat down in nice clean seats and enjoyed our meal. This place reminds me of a poor man's version of Farmer Boys. Same big menu and the same kind of breakfast and lunch foods. They offer a lot of Mexican food and burgers but I wanted something on the healthier side. They have a grilled chicken salad that looked a lot like what I used to get at Farmer Boys so I tried that. What a horrible salad! It's huge with a large portion of fresh grilled chicken. However, the lettuce was just disgusting. Partly frozen, partly ok and partly soggy. I got a few bites in and gave up. I brought it back to the counter and Jerry took care of me. Instead of blowing me off, he stared at the salad, then went and saw that they still were using yesterday's salad mix. He profusely apologized and made a fresh salad with a new bag of greens. This time, it was perfect. OK, now this is the salad I wanted. Stopped by here because it was conveniently next to a pretty good laundromat. The staff were super friendly when taking our order. I had the Carne Asada Burrito, which was pretty tasty. It came with steak, cheese, rice, and beans and the tortilla was nicely warmed and browned. The steak was very tender and seemed like it was marinated given how flavorful it was to the chew. The red and green salsas were a nice pairing as well. I also tried some of their onion rings, which were golden brown, crispy, with a seasoned batter. Restaurant is decently sized, kind of reminded me of an old school Burger King. There is an extensive menu so looking forward to trying the other items on the menu. read more

I love this place. It used to be a Baker's Drive-Thru, but I feel like Troy's Burgers is like a level-up. They serve some good ol' American fast food, breakfast, and Mexican. They even have a drive-thru. We sometimes do our laundry in the same plaza, so this spot is super convenient. I wish they gave the interior a refresh, because it feels like I walked into a Burger King that hadn't remodeled since the 90s. But the food here smacks. I have a lot of food sensitivities that makes it hard for me to eat at places like Burger King or McDonalds, but I've never had a reaction here. The menu is huge, which makes it a great to come with a group so we don't have to decide on a specific cuisine. I just wish they were open later so we can stop by for some late night munchies. It was 30 min before closing on a Saturday night and we were craving a late night meal. We drove 20 min to try this place new to us and we were not disappointed at all. We ordered through the drive thru and the man taking our order was so great. We ordered the chili verde fries with a couple of personal additions and an avocado bacon cheeseburger. I've tried a lot of burger places and Troys moved quickly to the VERY top of the list. What made it better was the customer service and how wholesome and attentive the man was. Would def recommend!
