Rosemary katsu sando and black garlic ramen
    My C.

We wanted to try something new and Katsu Bar caught our eyes. Upon entering the restaurant. We noticed how clean, spacious and open it was. There is also a photobooth inside! The service was great and food came out fast. I would totally come back for the ramen! It was delicious and price was super reasonable.

Need a spot where your kids actually let you eat and the food is obviously great? Check out Katsu Bar Chino. Inside, there's a large self-photo studio with accessories -- the kids went crazy Outside, there's a big, cozy outdoor seating area with a small pond, so kids get their own me-time. That means parents finally get to enjoy their food Recommend: yubu pocket, egg sando, and classic curry katsu rice -- including both crispy and non fried choice all family favorites! Food was super tasty! I thought the shrimp katsu sando was a tad too creamy for my liking, but the first few bites were good! Next time Ill probably pick a different type of protein. My fiance loved the pork katsu!

I tried this place for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised! I was apprehensive because I'm particular about my curry. We ordered the chicken katsu plate with extra spicy curry. It was absolutely delicious! I love the fresh radish cubes too! We also had the fried mushrooms and they were super tasty too. Everything was soooooo good, we went back a second time! I definitely recommend trying this place if you love curry. We've also "dined in" and it was a lil after the dinner rush and it was quiet and very clean. 10 out of 10

Absolutely amazing!! Greeted with a warm smile. Bright welcoming location. Ordered to go. Food was prepared i and packaged for the to go order. Even after a 20 minute drive home, the food was hot! Really like that. Curry Udon with Chicken Katsu was some of the best I've ever had. Chicken was crisp, great flavor and was really moist. The Spicy Curry was on a whole other level. It had great heat but didn't over power. Noodles were cooked perfectly. I would eat this every day if I could. The Shrimp Bowl was a really nice surprise. Rice cooked perfectly. Cabbage and everything in the bowl blended well together. Shrimp was cooked well. Not over cooked. Nice flavor. Katsu Bar is one of my new favorites.

2nd time coming here for lunch and I gotta tell ya, if you want some good Japanese Curry style dishes, this is the place! Their curry is a rich, savory sauce served with your choice of chicken, shrimp, fish, or even pork. I highly recommend their lunch menu for $13, and the portion sizes are huge! Great service and also there is a photo booth studio. Take some pictures with your friends! Lol!

First time visiting. The place is bright and modern. Server was nice. We were technically the only customers there on a weeknight. Food came out quick, rightly so. Food was delicious. However because our server knows a table of customers who are there to hang out so he was distracted and having fun with them. Therefore the 4 stars on the review.

Katsu Plate. Tender pork katsu served with white rice, side salad, macaroni, and Korean radish.

I've been on the lookout for pork katsu... GOOD pork katsu; because honestly, who can say no to that crispy crunch and juicy bite? We went here and not only found pretty good pork katsu, but also discovered these bite-sized yubu pockets that offered a fun little detour from the main dish that kept us nibbling. THE FOOD. - Yubu Pocket: Spicy California Roll. Fried tofu pocket stuffed with rice and topped with spicy California roll (imitation crab meat). Served cold, the tofu has a soft, slightly springy texture that gives each bite an intriguing contrast. - Yubu Pocket: Bulgogi. Sweet and savory bulgogi tucked into the same tofu wrapping mentioned above. I like this one more because bulgogi meat is more flavorful than the spicy California roll. - Katsu Plate. Tender pork katsu served with white rice, side salad, macaroni, and Korean radish. The pork has a satisfying crunch, and the Japanese curry sauce is mildly spiced, pairing well with the katsu. The sides are simple but balanced--the crisp salad adds freshness, the macaroni brings a creamy comfort, and the pickled radish cuts through with a bright tang. THE VERDICT. The katsu plate is the standout, delivering both flavor and texture. The yubu pockets are little snacks that add a playful spark to the dining experience. Overall, the meal was enjoyable and worth a visit if you're craving katsu.

I ordered Rosemary Chicken Katsu with Waffle Fries to go. I like the Garlic Aioli on the sandwich. The Spicy mayo is good as well. The food was good. They have fun and cool photobooths. I didn't try it. Ambiance is nice. Friendly staff and good service. I will definitely be back to try entrees and curry dish next time.

Good food at a decent price. I came here for lunch and tried their $13 lunch special menu. For $13 you can get a katsu rice plate or katsu sando with fries. There are other dishes on the lunch special but those were the 2 that stood out for me. The place is small and clean and also has a Photo Booth area. My katsu plate was really good and boxed very well. I felt the portions were good for the price. Overall, the quality at this place is really good, even the to-go boxes looks like a lot of attention and care went into it. They only had 1 worker and it took about 10 minutes for my lunch to come out but I enjoyed my meal. There are so many great food options around this area but I hope they do well.

The restaurant looks nice, very trendy with a little Photo Booth that's pretty common in newer Korean places. The service was good, it wasn't very busy on the Sunday we went, the wait time for food was only 10 minutes or so. The reason I rate this place 3 stars is because for the price, the food was just average. I didn't like how they plated the food in a pan (if your tongue accidentally touches the pan it's very metallic and ruins the food). A plate would've been fine. The rice and curry, which is of course the most important part, was fine. There are other places that do the curry better and add more to the curry (like Coco Ichibanya). The mild curry was actually pretty spicy, so beware, though I didn't factor that into the review. The mac salad might as well have just been more rice, it's fine, it just doesn't add anything. That being said, the rest of the meal is pretty good. The salad is tasty, and I do enjoy the addition of the radishes to cut through the curry. Finally, neither my girlfriend nor I were full, the portion sizes were too small. I even ate all the rice even though I was out of food, I ended up snacking at home anyway. But all in all it was fine, just not impressive.

This was the closest one to us, and it definitely lived up to what I was expecting. I tried their new Bolognese udon, and it did not disappoint. It had a really rich, savory tomato flavor that paired surprisingly well with the chewy udon noodles. It's a little different from the usual udon dishes, but that's what made it stand out. I would definitely get it again, especially since udon is one of my favorite types of noodles. My friends got the Nikutama udon, which was also really good. You can tell the udon is freshly made, with that perfect chewy texture. We also grabbed some of their tempura sides, and they were crispy, light, and super satisfying. The workers were really nice, and the whole setup runs pretty smoothly even when it gets busy. The space itself is pretty spacious with lots of seating, so it's great for groups. It has a casual, lively feel with people coming in and out, grabbing trays, and building their meals, which adds to the overall experience.

The nikutama udon was only warm rather than hot, and the broth tasted overly salty with a slight sweetness. I added green onions and flakes, but the flakes quickly became soggy in the soup. I also ordered crispy katsu, which was actually quite fresh and tender, and helped give an extra star. I also tried a battered chickenc tempura shrimp, and battered sausage that was cold and seems left out for a while. I can't say the meal was enjoyable.

This time, I tried the omurice, which is egg-wrapped, curry-flavored rice and chicken with your choice of sauce. I chose their curry, which I've always enjoyed. This also came with your choice of corn or miso soup and a salad. I also ordered a side topping of sautéed chicken as I was especially hungry that morning. The omelet wrapping the rice was nicely fluffy with a deliciously subtle blend of savory and sweet flavors. I enjoyed the diverse spices from the curry-flavored rice. With small chunks of chicken, the dish was slightly more filling. I wish there was just a little more curry portioned out. The sautéed chicken on the side was delicious and reminded me of times I enjoyed pan-fried steak dishes from Hong Kong cafes. Interestingly, the omurice came with seasoned fries and steamed carrots and green beans a slight touch of American cuisine). Overall, it was delicious combining all the flavors from the curry, rice, omelet, and sautéed chicken into one bite. Service was good. All our dishes had a nice and careful presentation. Our server also refilled my water without me asking. However, the restaurant can get loud due to the small interior. As usual, parking was in high demand, but we found a spot close to the north exit. There was a crowd of people standing near the entrance, so I thought we were in for a long wait. However, they were thankfully waiting for another restaurant nearby.
