The food was alright. There was nothing that stood out to any of us. I got the ube french toast which as a 7/10, I wish it came with more since it is $17 for just two slabs of bread. My dad wanted to order the steak and eggs and they were out of steak, he then asked for the breakfast burrito and they said they didnt have the sausage or steak available for it. The service was fast and attentive. The major issue was the temperature inside of the restaurant. We asked the server to turn on the AC and she let us know that it was on. It felt like a sauna inside. We also heard other tables complaing about how hot it was inside. I would also keep in mind that this " cafe" is ALSO A SHABU RESTAURANT it is not a separate cafe. I was unaware of that and came thinking it was going to have a " cafe" atmosphere and it does not. It absolutely looks like a shabu restaurant inside. Came here on a Saturday morning for brunch and was seated right away. My fiancé and I ordered the Fried Chicken Croffle and Smoked Salmon Benedict. The Fried Chicken Croffle was delicious and was fried perfectly with a very nice crunch to it. The dipping sauce was also unique with it being sweet and savory, while also having that nice Asian fusion to it. However, it was also not necessary as the chicken itself had a whole ton of flavors already. We were on the hunt for a good brunch spot in Chino and came across this place on Easter Sunday! So glad we did! It looks like they also offer hot pot for dinner, which we're definitely curious to try next time. We started with hot lattes, and they were delicious. Lastly we had the croffle with berries and it was larger than expected. The ambiance is clean, however, the restroom has a very distinct smell of urine. I haven't been here for awhile & was craving my breakfast sandwich & my sister was craving her eggs Benedict to find out that they took out the sandwich out of the menu & they only serve the Benedict on weekends!! I met up with a friend at Wara Cafe and we had the best time sipping on our Shrek Lattes and eating their Croffles. Let me tell you and stop you right in your tracks if you're looking at other things on their menu. Their Croffle is top of the line, the best croffle invention I have ever had, and gave me another reason to exist and enjoy life, just so I can eat their Croffles. Love this place! It is on the pricier side but the food/drinks/vibes are great for brunch. My friend introduced me the first time, and it was so good I brought a group of six friends the next time I came. I had the same order both times: smoked salmon bagel and blueberry matcha. Both of those are absolutely delicious. I'm always on the lookout for blueberry matcha, as not many places have it. My friend group also shared a matcha flight to try each flavor, and I didn't like the other ones as much as blueberry. The patio is really pleasant to sit out, and they can accommodate larger groups. The first time I went, service was pretty good, but the second time, even though it wasn't busy, our server seemed a bit absent-minded and rushed. She forgot to take cancelled orders off of our check despite them not making the order. I had already paid, and they were trying to figure out how to refund it, but my friend just paid and had them make the drink instead to save the hassle. We tried coming yesterday (Sun at noon) but there was an hour wait with a line out the door (now I can see why!), so we gave it another try today, and I'm glad we did! My husband and I chose to eat breakfast here the day of our wedding reception. We had a long day ahead and wanted to start it right. We both got the traditional breakfast plate. The latte came out relatively quick but the food took about 25 minutes. If it was a crowded restaurant with a lot of tables, maybe this would be understandable. However, there were only 4 or 5 tables. At least two of them had their food already. 25 minutes was way too long. The food was great, though, and the staff was friendly. Latte was really good. Their bacon is candied bacon and I think that should be the only kind of bacon. It was delicious. Their bread tastes homemade. The potatoes are so good... Eggs are eggs... But yeah.. delicious.
