We have been trying to eat at this restaurant for quite some time, but it is always so packed. We finally got a chance to eat here. It was a nice morning so we sat outside with our dog. The servers were nice and they were friendly with our dog as well. There is a pup menu for the fur friends! I got the chilaquiles and the food was okay, but lacked some heat and salt. The beans overpowered the dish.

Came here for breakfast with a friend and had such a good experience! The food was honestly delicious, we ordered the sandwich sammie with house potatoes, fluffy pancakes, and avocado toast with fruit, and everything was so yum. The vibes were cool, but I have to say the interior made me laugh a little, definitely not your typical aesthetic breakfast spot there were Christmas lights inside and it's pretty dim, which kind of adds to the charm in its own way. The servers were really sweet and attentive too. Overall, a solid spot!

So much personality in this restaurant! We added ourselves to the waitlist around 11am on a weekend and got a call that our table was ready. I was amazed at how it looked inside. So vibrant and lively, and loved how the tables, chairs, and walls are decorated with such intention. The walls are personalized with travels, while all the chairs are handmade and painted as well. I loved hearing about heater behind everything! Food was delicious! Big portions and worth sharing. The breakfast burrito was tasty, and you can choose potatoes or tater tots on the side. The biscuits and gravy was huge and pretty good too! Service was great and even got a $10 voucher to use any time after that day. Note: You can ask to use it on merch!

We arrived early and waited outside with a bit of a line. Someone arrived and walked in and didn't say anything to the customers waiting outside. We all walked in and waited for someone to seat us. It was another few minutes before a second person arrived and sat everyone. He was the only server. One person in our group of 5 received the wrong order (pancakes instead of French toast). That individual also ordered the magic (I forget the name) but it was a mix of coffee and hot chocolate. There was no magic (sprinkles) so I asked the waiter for her to get them. As far as food... out of the five of us only two really loved their dishes. I ordered the tots and I swear it stated there was nacho cheese but they had queso. I do not like queso at all so I wouldn't have ordered them had it stated such on the menu. The tots were also soft, I would have preferred crispy. The country fried steak and the omelette with jalapeños got good reviews. The breakfast burrito was described as ok as well as the French toast. The salsa came for the burrito at the end of the meal as well. Maybe they had a server call out, maybe they always have just one. It was a far drive for me so I'm not sure I'd return. The server was very friendly at least, I just think he really could've used some help.

Me and my family arrived around 0830 right before the crowd started to come in. We were seated immediately and drink orders were taken, however they took like 15mins to take our food order. Once they took our order the food came out fast and was delicious. Worth the try but I'm personally not a fan of crowds, so I'd definitely come early!

Came on a Sunday. We put our name on the virtual waiting list so we didn't have to stand around until a table was ready. When we got to the restaurant we were seated right away. I ordered the Cali-shrimptastic omelette and got it spicy like the pro tip suggested. It was absolutely delicious. At one point, I was full, but couldn't stop eating it!! I definitely recommend getting it spicy. The hubby ordered the Chicos chorizo Benedict and said he really enjoyed it. There were so many options on the menu, it was so hard to choose. I will definitely come back and try some more things. Service could be a little better. We had to flag down the waiter for condiments and our check. It was busy though. It's a fun little place to go for brunch

Here they come to snuff the Rooster, aw, yeah! This place is a hidden gem for breakfast/brunch. No, it really is hidden and not very visible from the street so be sure and use your smart maps! I love the vibes at this place and the decor is captivating. All created in the mind of the owner/operator, Kaylynne Ruiz. The spelling of her first name is as unique as the menu. Lots of delicious food choices. You won't be disappointed. The staff take after the owner. Warm, friendly and professional. Too distracted by all the amazing art? It's ok! Plenty of outdoor patio seating as well. Only downfall is the 2PM closing time but whatever, wake up earlier!

Join the wait list online...it gets crowded! Ambiance is fun and festive and very purple inside. The patio is nice and covered too. The avocado toast was a bit bland. We added the chilis and sour cream to the tots and they were awesome! The waiter earned us against the veggie patty not being a crowd favorite and he was right...wouldn't pay for it. The fried eggs also looked a little light.

Never have i ever been disappointed by french toast before. I couldn't take anything but orange zest and paid top dollar for the atrocity too.

Arrived on a Sunday morning around 8am. We were greeted right away and a table was cleared off for us. Once we were seated it took a while for anyone to check in to get a drink order in(coffee juice and a Bloody Mary). When the drinks arrived we ordered food. The food came out promptly, but the wait between interactions with staff steadily increased, despite there being more staff arriving. This was very frustrating. So much so we didn't order the other items we had intended to order. I ordered a fountain drink that never arrived. After watching 3 employees gather and chat while we attempted to get their attention for water we decided to get up and ask for boxes and the check. Food was good, decor was nice, service was lacking.

I love breakfast and brunch. This will be added to my rotation of places to go. I had the hogfather omelette. It was very tasty. Good amount of filling overall. Everyone else loved their food too. Food came out fairly quick and they were busy. Good job! Service was good and we were well attended to. We just needed to ask for utensils when we got our coffees.

This place is overpriced for no reason. The service lacked. The food was greasy and tasteless. Not worth the time or the money.

I met up with a friend at Wara Cafe and we had the best time sipping on our Shrek Lattes and eating their Croffles. We ordered the Shrek Latte (Hot) and Shrek Latte (Cold) as our drinks, and both got the Croffle w/ Mixed Berries, Fresh Whipped Cream, Hazelnut Drizzle, and because it was the weekend and my stomach begs for brunch food, I also got their Classic Breakfast which comes with 2 eggs, 2 bacon, side of toast, and salad. Let me tell you and stop you right in your tracks if you're looking at other things on their menu. Their Croffle is top of the line, the best croffle invention I have ever had, and gave me another reason to exist and enjoy life, just so I can eat their Croffles. If you are wondering what it is, it's like a dessert fusion breakfast item in between a croissant and a waffle pressed in a waffle iron. This makes an airy, buttery, crunchy, waffle bite, and it's got me drooling as I am typing this hungry. They pair it here with mixed berries, and their house-made fresh whipped cream. The whipped cream is another story I need to say, because I originally thought it was too much since its a size of an ice cream scoop, but I finished the whole thing and enjoyed every bite of it since it is also one of the best fresh whipped creams I have had. Just get the croffle, OK? 100% gauranteed you will love it and thank me later, please. Also, if I may convince you of another thing. If you love matcha and cinnamon, it is no doubt you will love their Shrek Latte. I read "Matcha, brown sugar, and cinnamon, as their description, and I was immediately sold. Sign me up for another Shrek Latte please, and I'll change my name to Fiona. I absolutely loved it and would order again. The staff here are also beyond friendly, and genuinely sweet. They checked on my friend and I every now and then and made sure we were taken care of. They are all so beautiful, and have such great smiles. I can see why the wait line was so long! I would come back every weekend if I were closer to Wara Cafe, but it just gives me more reason to bring another friend along and make the trip out here. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience. My friend and I left with full tummies and a big smile. Thank you!

When I walked away, the barista also made a comment about the decaf drink that came across irritated. My friend had ordered a decaf beverage as well around the same time. While I was trying to focus on some work, one of the employees from the counter sat with a friend near the cashier area and they were speaking very loudly. Their conversation included comments about someone being Asian and arguing about whether someone was Black. It felt uncomfortable and unprofessional to overhear that kind of conversation while sitting in the shop. I hope the staff receive some basic customer service and professionalism training, as the atmosphere made it difficult to enjoy the space.
