Have to say I just love the diner experience. And when it comes to Flo's Airport cafe it ranks up there as one of the best experiences I have had. Service is exactly what I expected. Very fast and direct. They are busy. The cheeseburger very tasty in the classic sense. Golden sponge bun, 1/3 lb patty , crisp onions, tomato, and lettuce. The one issue it didn't stay together but that was part of the charm. Good food and vintage aircraft it was a good day.

Gave Flo's a try with my girlfriend's meetup group for Sunday breakfast. We were a group of 8. Once everyone arrived we were seated and given menus to peruse. Our server was great, good banter, teasing us good naturedly, and joking with the table. She took our orders and our food came out remarkably fast. Portions are generous and the food was good. About half of our group brought home leftovers. Nice location on Chino airport. Quite a bit of aviation memorabilia is incorporated into the decor. Prices were reasonable and our server once again was great. Separate checks for everyone at the table was greatly appreciated. I look forward to returning.

We've been going to Flo's for a long time, airport and Riverside Drive location and this Sunday we called in and a rude old hag answered the phone around 1145Am. It's Sunday and our family was debating where we should go have a late brunch, so we decided to call Flo's and ask what there wait time looked like since we like the food and our son likes getting to see the planes nearby. When the rude lady answered I asked her the wait time and she says "honey we don't give wait times over the phone bc it can change at anytime. Thank you" and hangs up the phone immediately without letting my speak thereafter. Well no shit the wait times can change but I've never had a restaurant say they can't give wait times over the phone. It's common sense it's an estimate and not guaranteed. We just wanted to see if we could manage the wait with our young child. Anytime I've ever called a restaurant they always say "estimate" or "it can change at anytime" I've never had any restaurant be that rude over a simple question. We will no longer be supporting Flo's thanks to whatever rude old hag hung up on us. May her tips always be short & she has the day she deserves.

Flo's came highly recommended by the staff at the Planes of Fame Museum from down the street and I'm really glad we took their advice. This not so little café (can seat 150) on the perimeter of the Chino airport is somewhat amazing. Pulling into the parking lot, you get a roadhouse/highway greasy spoon vibe. Inside, it's pretty busy with truckers & locals, but you're warmly welcomed to sit wherever you like and the dining room goes pretty far back. Also, if you show the sticker from the museum, you get 10% off your check. After we were seated, a man brought big cups of water to the table and a big carafe of coffee for my wife. He even brought more water cups later to replace the ones we had, because he said he didn't want us running out while we were eating! He was so nice! In addition to traditional breakfast eggs, omelets & pancakes, the menu has influences from Southern BBQ joints & roadside diners with a little South of the Border thrown in. We decided to order from the Specials board posted by the door as you walk in. My wife had the Turkey Ortega Patty Melt on Rye, which came with a choice of either Tomato Soup or Cole Slaw, but she decided to splurge and got both options. The thick whole grain rye bread was toasted on the griddle with turkey patty & cheese smothered with onions and spicy green peppers. It was an awesome sandwich! The homemade tomato soup was creamy and hearty. For myself, I opted for the Tri-Tip Special with mashed potatoes, all smothered in thick gravy. This came with Southern Green Bean Casserole, which had more other stuff like tomatoes peppers & turkey than green beans. The choice of bread was key here. Instead of plain dinner rolls or sliced bread, I went with the garlic Texas toast and that was the perfect partner to the tri-tip beef roast and gravy. It was so good, I swear I can still taste it. I really regret not ordering a slice of pie for dessert. They had over a dozen flavors to choose from. I would have gotten a slice of apple if I wasn't so full from lunch, but I should have taken it to go.

If you are a fan of big portions and inexpensive food, this is the place for you. I come here every other week with a group of people and they always have a table ready for us to go and they know how to deal with big groups and have the capabilities to split checks for multiple people in the group Which I like. I've ordered off the menu and ordered all the cart and have never been disappointed. The breakfast burrito is big enough for two people which I have eaten half and taken home for a later meal several times if you order coffee or any type of beverage they're pretty quick to give you refills. The staff are always attentive and caring.

Service, ambiance, and food 10/10. The decor inside is amusing and the diner feels so nostalgic. Has somewhat of an old school vibe to it. Wonderful servers checking in. The food was also amazing. Definitely recommend this place. Great for breakfast.

We usually go to the Flos on Riverside drive, but we were in the area (going to the Planes of Fame museum) so decided to have breakfast at this location. Breakfast is just as delicious as the other location, staff very tentative & very nice. Coffee never runs out, and we even bought a delicious Pecan Pie for dessert. If you haven't had Flos, your definitely missing out

For the last few years... Flo's has been our must-stop, lunch-spot when coming out to Chino, California. After we spend the morning at Prado Olympic Shooting Park down the street, our group ALWAYS goes to Flo's Airport Cafe to have lunch which always comes with a side of funny table conversations. And thanks to 2 of the people in our group, we only know about Flo's because they happen to live in Chino and are regulars here. Speaking of regulars.... That's pretty much what you're gonna see here if you happen to come across this little hole in the wall cafe. What I like about Flo's.... It's a Home-style cookin', kitchen to table, mom & pop kinda place. The servers here are quick-witted, spunky and they all convey that small town charm. Their motto is "Country Cookin' at its Best" and they've been at it since 1963!!! That's right! 62 years of serving up some mean breakfasts & Lunches that are all made to order. And despite having a very hearty breakfast menu, I've only ever had their lunch. But the word on the streets is that their top breakfast dishes are their country fried steak, their corned beef hash with biscuits & gravy and their homemade cinnamon rolls... Looks like next time, I'm gonna opt in for some breakfast. As for their lunch... 2 things. Nobody is leaving here hungry and everyone is definitely leaving here happy. From burgers & melts to sandwiches & salads, I'm pretty sure you are going to love whatever you get. Portions are good sized and everything I've ever had from here, I've been happy with. So whether you're takin' off from the Chino Airport and you need a hearty meal before getting a small bag pretzels and a coke on your flight or you just want to see what it's like to be a "regular"... Come on down to Flo's Airport Cafe and have yourself a delicious meal!

Good "comfort food" eats found here. I liked my food. I was not wowed. Everything was just "fine". Great service. Bathroom too small to turn around easily between stall door and the toilet.

Highly recommend getting breakfast here and then going to the museum! It's such a great combo and experience together. The food here was massive and I like large portion sizes, def come with an appetite! The service was so fast and the waitress talked to us the whole time. I loved that everyone was regulars and everyone knew eachother! It was such a nice homestyle experience! We felt right at home

You can't go wrong with anything on the Menu, from breakfast Country Fried Steaks to Grilled larger than your hand Farm country fresh Lunch or Dinner beef Steaks, Chicken or Piggy plates with delicious Biscuits & Gravy (house special) or Potatoes your own favorite style. Add grilled bell peppers & onions small pieces but Flavorful for only $1 extra. Make your OWN choice plate with their Side menu. Don't forget to order the Specials of the day or week by the Entrance always an added bonus for your $$. Bring the whole Family. The staff is always friendly & accommodating Cowgirls & Cowboys are the heart of our community, so be prepared to see customers on Horseback, Monster Trucks, & Harley Davidson's motorcycles. Plenty of Parking, even if you arrive on your RV to stock up your kitchen. Don't expect fancy - dancee, it's a Country style restaurant with Delicious entrees & homemade Pies. Prices are fair, be sure to tip well. No alcohol served here. Drink more Milk we all need it!

My step father and I had the Paul's breakfast. And so much food. Come with a little of everything. My mom got the chili omelette. And she loved it. Food came out hot and fast. And the ambiance was great. Old vintage pictures of airplanes related things. It's make it perfect because Flo's is at an airport. In the area and you are hungry. This is the place to go. Also the pie's are the best.

I met up with a friend at Wara Cafe and we had the best time sipping on our Shrek Lattes and eating their Croffles. We ordered the Shrek Latte (Hot) and Shrek Latte (Cold) as our drinks, and both got the Croffle w/ Mixed Berries, Fresh Whipped Cream, Hazelnut Drizzle, and because it was the weekend and my stomach begs for brunch food, I also got their Classic Breakfast which comes with 2 eggs, 2 bacon, side of toast, and salad. Let me tell you and stop you right in your tracks if you're looking at other things on their menu. Their Croffle is top of the line, the best croffle invention I have ever had, and gave me another reason to exist and enjoy life, just so I can eat their Croffles. If you are wondering what it is, it's like a dessert fusion breakfast item in between a croissant and a waffle pressed in a waffle iron. This makes an airy, buttery, crunchy, waffle bite, and it's got me drooling as I am typing this hungry. They pair it here with mixed berries, and their house-made fresh whipped cream. The whipped cream is another story I need to say, because I originally thought it was too much since its a size of an ice cream scoop, but I finished the whole thing and enjoyed every bite of it since it is also one of the best fresh whipped creams I have had. Just get the croffle, OK? 100% gauranteed you will love it and thank me later, please. Also, if I may convince you of another thing. If you love matcha and cinnamon, it is no doubt you will love their Shrek Latte. I read "Matcha, brown sugar, and cinnamon, as their description, and I was immediately sold. Sign me up for another Shrek Latte please, and I'll change my name to Fiona. I absolutely loved it and would order again. The staff here are also beyond friendly, and genuinely sweet. They checked on my friend and I every now and then and made sure we were taken care of. They are all so beautiful, and have such great smiles. I can see why the wait line was so long! I would come back every weekend if I were closer to Wara Cafe, but it just gives me more reason to bring another friend along and make the trip out here. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience. My friend and I left with full tummies and a big smile. Thank you!

While I was trying to focus on some work, one of the employees from the counter sat with a friend near the cashier area and they were speaking very loudly. The Violet Rooster is a fantastic little brunch spot with unique, charming decor and seriously generous portions. PRO TIP: Reservations are highly recommended through Yelp! It is not a very large restaurant, so if you don't book ahead, expect to wait about 30 to 40 minutes for a table (which is exactly what we waited). Because of the cozy size, it's also probably not the best spot for big parties of more than 8 people. They do have both indoor seating and an outdoor patio option. Once we were seated, our server was incredibly friendly and attentive throughout the meal. We started with drinks--a Violet's Secret Mimosa and a Paloma--both were refreshing and well-made. For food, we ordered a bit of everything: Feta Me Betta: Egg whites scrambled with spinach, mushrooms, red bell pepper, turkey sausage, feta, and everything spice. It came with homestyle potatoes, fresh salsa, and a piece of sourdough. It was packed with flavor! Traditional Eggs Benedict: Canadian bacon with a perfect traditional hollandaise sauce that my daughter loved. Happy Hendrix Pancake: A super fluffy buttermilk pancake with a smiley face made out of fresh fruit and confetti sprinkles. It was an absolute hit with my granddaughter! All in all, a wonderful experience. The portions are huge--we definitely couldn't finish everything and happily took leftovers home. As a bonus, the bathrooms were clean and well-maintained. Just keep in mind that the parking lot is on the smaller side, so give yourself a few extra minutes to find a spot. We will definitely be back!

My farmers skillet was supposed to be scrambled eggs but they served me over easy, they offered to fix it but I said no I had already been waiting an hour. The pancakes looked perfect until we took the top one off and saw the bottom 4 were all burnt. And to top it all off my wife asked for ketchup packets and the waitress said to just use the ketchup on the table. My wife said it had a hair on it. She took the bottle away and came back a few minutes and said this is all she had, she brought back the same bottle with the hair on it. Jesus Christ what happened to this place!!! We both sadly said we need to find a new breakfast spot, had been coming here for years. As we left my wife said the country charm is gone... Also why we were waiting in line a couple was seated outside waiting for their food and they asked the server where their food was it had been an hour, the server said yes it has been a while. They asked to speak to the manager. The server came back and said he can't come see them but they can get a free meal next time and took their name and number down. Hahahaha the manager didn't even wanna come to them. I miss the old lady and the old staff.
