We had an absolutely incredible experience celebrating our kids' preschool graduation here! We came in with a very large group for brunch, and the service was flawless from start to finish. A huge shoutout to our server, Hoguer Torres, who took amazing care of us and kept everything running smoothly. Every single dish was SO good, but the absolute highlight was the end of the meal. They surprised the kids with a beautiful, homemade cheesecake. They served it over dry ice, which put on a spectacular show that the kids loved! Stopped by for lunch and immediately noticed the nice ambiance--definitely more of a sit-down, relax, and enjoy your time kind of spot rather than somewhere for a quick lunch break. We went on a weekend. It can get packed. This service was slightly slow, but for us it wasn't a big deal. We were outside at a table, so that could have been a contributing factor. Found this place on Yelp. We wanted to try a new brunch place right after attending church. Located in a strip mall off of Euclid and Eucalyptus. There is plenty of parking available. I was craving pancakes, so I ordered the short stack pancakes with strawberries and blueberries and my husband ordered salmon potato hash with poached egg. We shared our entrees since it was a lot of food. Both were excellent choices and very tasteful. Service was great and staff were pleasant It's a nice restaurant and has quite a bit of seating. My biggest gripe with this place is simply the quality of the food does not match the cost. I dont mind paying more for great quality food. The other thing is that the menu did not have any prices for any of the dishes. So, we had no idea what things cost. We asked about it and were told that the menus were new and they havent had the chance to do it yet. But, it had been a few weeks. I had the chicken and mushroom dish and it was okay, but not worth $40+. The chicken was overcooked and a bit dry. We also ordered the beef short ribs and they were also overcooked in certain parts. They were chewy and dry. The cesar salad tasted okay but not worth the $9 price tag. The server was very attentive and nice. read more

This is my favorite Brunch spot in the Chino/Chino Hills area. The food and sauces are all made from scratch! I love the smoked salmon toast and the short rib hash. We had an impromptu group brunch with 16 people and they were so sweet to accommodate us without a reservation. While visiting in the Eastvale area of southern Calif., I was invited to dine at the restaurant of an award winning chef. I must say I was impressed. My experience at Cattle Ranch Cafe was truly memorable. There were five of us and we all had varied tastes. My wife and I shared the Ribeye steak with Brussel sprouts. The steak was prepared to perfection. Tender, juicy and hot. I'm not really a fan of brussel sprouts, yet these weren't bad. I actually eat about five or six of them. The others had breakfast, New York steak and a salad. No one complained and plates were wiped clean. I'm a big fan of breakfast and their pancakes and eggs looked so good. My friend sure devoured it like it was. He left a small pancake triangle on his plate. I wanted so bad to reach over and grab it before the plate was removed. My wife felt the same . My sincere apologies, as we were so busy eating and enjoying ourselves, that I forgot to snap pictures of the food. No worries as other reviewers have done that for me. CRC is a very nice place, but it is not cheap. You get a premium meal for your choice, and the taste is amazing. So expect to pay a little bit more. I still think you will enjoy your meal and the ambiance. I truly don't mind paying a little more, as long as it's with it. I don't want to pay extra just for someone's name. Let's start off with the good! The location is in a great spot, the inside is beautiful. We were sat very quickly for a Sunday morning. The waiter was friendly and got our drink orders right away. He told us about the promotion for a free drink from the coffee bar or the smoothie bar as long as we scanned and signed up for their rewards. My husband and I both did it, different phones but when it was time to pay they said it was one per table mind you it was never mentioned nor is there a sign. I should've known better I guess. Now the food. We ordered a vanilla latte, strawberry banana smoothie, pancakes, short rib potato hash, and half green half red chilaquiles with short rib. The strawberry banana smoothie was pretty good you can tell it's made in house, mind you it was $9. The vanilla latte I can't honestly say they added vanilla anything it was so plain. The pancakes were dense and veryyy sweet, I think they made it with condensed milk. The short rib hash wasn't great...the potato's were soft, the vegetables weren't seasoned, the short rib tasted like carnitas. The chilaquiles I ordered red and green, the green was super tomatillo-ey like sour and bitter. The red sauce was okay not too much flavor, not spicy. My main complaint was the sauce was hot but the short rib was cold. Over all it's a cute brunch spot but I would go mainly for the vibes. read more

We got here on Mother's Day with our 3 little ones. My husband went inside first and was told the wait would be about 15-20 minutes, so I said okay perfect and took the kids outside to wait comfortably. There were only two parties waiting outside with us.  After waiting over an hour, I went in to ask for an update because I needed to figure out whether to keep the kids outside or get them back in the car. I was told "a couple more minutes," and when I looked at the list, we were next. We continued waiting, and then 3 more parties were seated ahead of us. At that point we had been waiting over an hour. I went back in and politely explained that I just needed an honest timeframe because I had hungry, restless little kids and needed to make a decision. Instead of helping, the employee laughed in my face. Told me next time I should make reservations. Mind you I understand that but when asking for a timeframe they should have been honest.  I completely understand busy holiday waits happen, especially on Mother's Day, but the lack of communication and dismissive attitude were really disappointing. Drove by this cafe a number of times and finally stopped by this morning, restaurant very clean and pleasing to the eye. Stopped by between breakfast and lunch time only a few people there! My husband ordered 2 egg, 2 pancakes and bacon plate. Eggs good, pancakes good with cinnamon butter but the bacon was way over cooked. I ordered the salmon on multi grain toast ( substituting the multi grain bread for a bagel and cream cheese) I was very excited because usually I have to drive to chino hills to get this at the Dirty Penguin. When they brought out what I ordered was not what the menu said it was. I sent it back, then the waitress brought it back exactly the same she said they added more capers! I said no, I wanted the greens the cream cheese and everything on it that states on the menu. Then the manager came out and said they no longer had that, I said there is not even cream cheese on there, he said there was! Why would he let me order that (especially that it was a )18-$19 dollar selection! A big disappointment! read more

Came for father's day and let me highlight the strengths first. Service was great! loved our server. He was on top of refills and very knowledgeable. The portions are decent and my food was good considering i'm usually displeased with breakfast food. I also appreciate that we were sat immediately without wait bc cafes tend to be packed on holidays. My complaints though, the prices are very high, $150 lunch for 4 people. And my avocado (which i'm sure was expensive) was underripe and inedible. Unacceptable in my opinion when i'm paying over $20 for a breakfast plate .... food was good enough but i probably wouldn't come back for the price. 7/10 read more

We love it here! But every time I go, I always like what my wife orders more than what I order. She always orders the flat iron steak and eggs. I have tried the new york steak and eggs, the asada and eggs, and the chilaquiles. The flat iron steak is always better. I'll have to remember that next time. I like the fact that this place is big; so there's no lack of seating - a constant gripe I have with breakfast places. I opted for the Steak and Eggs. My Wife ordered the Chilaquiles. We were both very happy with our food! The chilaquiles were complex in flavor; I kept nibbling on them while eating my steak! I ordered my steak medium rare; it was a tad undercooked but still was seasoned and seared well. Prices are also affordable! I gave this restaurant 4 stars because of the price. We were there for breakfast, ordered 3 entres, a hot tea , and a mimosa and the bill came out to $90. That seems a bit steep for breakfast. I don't think I can afford to have breakfast out when the average cost of an entre is about $23. The food was good, great flavor and taste. The service was ok. Ordered the Omelette and house potatoes with sourdough toast. Omelette was ok my veggies I felt were overcooked in the omelette. The house potatoes tasted a little burnt to me. Ordered a bottle of for mimosa and pomegranate mixer and orange juice mixer. They give it to you in tiny expresso cups. Makes a huge mess when you pour the juice into the mimosa glass. The place had a good amount of people already there and it smelled amazing. We ordered an omelette, eggs Benedict, the chilaquiles and an order of pancakes. The omelette was delicious. The meats were flavorful and the cheese pull was on point. The potatoes were seasoned well, too. The chilaquiles were fantastic, too. The sauce was tasty, you can tell that sauce is made there and wasn't too spicy. The eggs Benedict were amazing! The hollandaise sauce wasn't too runny or too thick and had great acidity. The pancakes left something to be desired. I felt as though they lacked flavor and were way more dense than I'm accustomed to. Overall, the food was fantastic but I'm not sure if the price is worth it. For the prices, it's a restaurant I would come to every once in a while, not every weekend. read more

It was our first time there and the ambience was ok, nothing fancy, more casual dining. Our waiter was really nice and provided great service even though they were very busy.
