I first reached out to them through Yelp, then hopped on a phone call with them, and they were able to take my car in the very next day. After diagnosing it, we were all pretty shocked to find out that what the Toyota dealership said needed to be repaired had actually been misdiagnosed. Jay was able to figure out what was really going on simply by plugging into the car and properly reading the diagnostics. We were honestly appalled that the Toyota dealership hadn't caught it in the first place. So instead of spending $7,500 at the dealership and most likely STILL not fixing the actual problem, Auto Technik was able to properly diagnose and fix my Sequoia for around $1,500. Aside from saving me a ton of money, everyone here was just so nice and communicative with me throughout the entire process. It was prepared with a car seat for my granddaughter, as I requested. We had a very comfortable ride to the hotel with Sunny, who was friendly, professional, and accommodating. The flight for the second group was delayed by a couple of hours. That wasn't a problem for the pickup, because Sunny's checks on flights and arrives at the airport at the appropriate time. Since I didn't have my car right in front of me, the employee on the phone asked for my car's year, make, model, and engine. She entered everything into her system, confirmed the tires were compatible and in stock, and set my appointment. I arrived for my scheduled appointment, and they jacked my car up to start the service. After waiting over TWO HOURS, the same employee came back out to tell me the tires wouldn't fit and tried to aggressively upsell me on a significantly more expensive set. When I questioned this, she had the audacity to blame me for the discrepancy and act like I pulled the size out of thin air--even though she was the one who verified and confirmed the fitment in her own system during our call. She even tried to cover her mistake by accusing me of modifying my car to explain why the size was off. In reality, their own system lists 235/45R18 for a 2022 Lexus IS300 without accounting for the trim level--mine is the Premium Package, which requires a different size. The website never requested or specified the package trim, and neither she nor the techs checked the actual tire size on the car before putting it on the lift or making me sit in the lobby for two hours. When I refused to spend double the price for their oversight--especially when competitor shops offer honest, genuine pricing; a male employee stepped in and was completely rude to me for declining and was checking if he needed to charge me (even though no work was done and the girl stated that to him and to hand me my keys) he the rudely handed my keys after throwing them out of the folder and stayed quiet. I only came here for a advertised deal and left highly displeased by their total lack of basic automotive knowledge, refusal to take accountability, and atrocious customer service.
