Gotta love Ortega Drives! Whenever I travel to beautiful Jamaica every year or two, I want everything to be perfect, and I don't want to be worrying about my car being parked for a week at the airport, so finding the perfect driver is important to me. I was so fortunate to find Mike Ortega and Cerina. Mike has six drivers, so you never have to fear being stranded if your flight is delayed by a day, which is what had almost happened to me the year before I found Ortega Drives. I have also had my flight cancelled at the last minute. I conveyed all of these fears to Mike, and he assured me that he had me covered whatever might occur, and so I was able to stop being nervous about the "what ifs" and totally relax on the ride to the airport. Mike felt just like family as he chatted happily away with me all the way to the airport, so my trip to Jamaica got started off on such a happy, positive note. I had the same experience a week later when Cerina showed up to pick me up in her luxurious red Tesla to take me back home. I was feeling really sad that my beautiful vacay had come to an end, but she reminded me that I would be so happy to sleep once again in my very own bed, and she was right. That was exactly the right thing to say. Do yourself a big favor on your next drive to and from the airport. Going through customs and security is stressful enough without having to worry about your car. Let Mike or Cerina take care of the driving and then you can just sit back, relax, and allow your vacay to start the moment that you're picked up in one of their luxury line of vehicles. It's so nice to be able to stop worrying and just be happy! Ya, mon, as they say in Jamaica! Mike's prices are very reasonable too, which is an added bonus! Kudos to Ortega Drives! read more

Excellent service! I plan to use them again! Never used a private shuttle service to get to the airport before - first time. I made a last minute request to get transportation the LAX. Mike was able to accommodate with only a days notice! Set up was straight forward and he kept me informed during the process. More than fair pricing too! Adrian was the one that picked us up and he was friendly and helpful. He made sure we had everything we needed for our trip, made good conversation, and got us to LAX on time and safely. His car was like new - clean and comfortable. He helped us with our luggage and tied off with us in our return flight coming up. I highly recommend using Ortega Drives! They'll be my go-to private shuttle service! read more

The level of service was exceptional from start to finish. I was very impressed with Adrian, our driver. He is always very professional and knows the best routes to the airport. He is so pleasant to us and always makes us feel at ease knowing that he will be on time and get us to the airport with time on our side. Thank you for providing a service that makes a difference. Excellent service! On time, helped with luggage, and drove safely, while still making great time! Adrian was super friendly, checking about the air, etc., and even asked if we had our passports, etc. I thought this was very thoughtful because sometimes people forget. This was a last minute booking, but it went smoothly. We'll definitely use their service again! read more

We've used Ortega Drives many, many times. We travel several times a year and we ALWAYS use Ortega Drives to get us to/from the airport. First of all, they are family owned and, to me, that means a lot. They take pride in their business and it shows. The booking is simple, they are always on time, extremely friendly (even with early morning pickups), and they communicate where they are or what vehicle they're driving. Since we've found them, we haven't used anyone else to get us to where we need to go. They can take you to concerts or other events too. If you choose to give them a try, you will not be disappointed! read more

I booked a ride to LAX at the last minute and Mike was very helpful in helping us plan our one-way transportation. He was at our door early; he had checked traffic into LAX and assured us we'd be there with time to spare. Ride was good, no rush, got us there early!!! Great conversation too. Excellent service. Offered to pick us up on our return to Ontario, but we already had a ride. Will definitely book for our next trip to LAX in April. Highly recommend Mike's services for all your transportation needs. read more

Late review. Used Ortega Drives a few weeks ago for a late night LAX pickup. Pickup was seamless, driver Cerina was prompt, friendly and safe. Communication was excellent. Would use them again. read more

We used Ortega Drives for roundtrip service to and from LAX for our 3-week European vacation, and I can't say enough good things about the experience. Our driver, Cerina, was fantastic--professional, punctual, and incredibly kind. She arrived early both times, helped us with all our luggage, and made the ride feel calm and easy, even with L.A. traffic. The car was spotless and comfortable, and Cerina's friendly attitude and attention to detail really stood out. It felt like we were in good hands the whole time, which is exactly what you want when you're heading off on a big trip or coming home jetlagged. I wouldn't hesitate to book with Ortega Drives again. Thanks again to Cerina for getting us to and from the airport safely and stress-free! read more

We found Ortega Drives through the Upland Community Facebook. I called them and they were very responsible. I spoke with Mike and he was very thorough and even told me what type of vehicle they had available so there would be no surprises. They texted us prior to pick up for confirmation. Our driver Adrian took us to the airport. His Lexus was very clean inside and out. He was early/on time and very personable person and kind. We received a text a day before to confirm our return and flight number. Our flight was unexpectantly delayed a few hours but they still made accommodations. Adrian was our return driver too and it was already like seeing an old friend! It was very seamless and I would recommend them and use them for our future trips. Thank you for making our trip less stressful! read more

We have used Ortega drives at least 7 times in the last 2 years, primarily to get to LAX for longer trips. It is worth every penny! Mike's drivers are organized and on time every time. Before leaving your home to the airport they routinely ask if you have your travel documents, which saved us this last trip when my teen assumed I had their passport. As she didn't have her DL on her, if the driver hadn't asked we would have arrived at the airport without the required ID. Pick up at home and at the airport has been seamless and when you get home from a long flight, not having to deal with LA traffic is a huge plus. I can't recommend it highly enough and the experience is superior to any Uber or Lyft transport in terms of your ability to plan and communicate with the driver. read more

Absolutely loved the service that Ortega Drives provided for us. From the scheduling to the ride back home, everything went smoothly. Adrian our driver felt like family from the start. Thank you Adrian for helping us make my husband's birthday memorable read more

I am a frequent traveler and have been using Ortega Drives for all of my trips to the Long Beach Cruise Ports and have been exceptionally pleased with the drop off and primarily pick up process. While there are so many travelers outside waiting for their respective rides. The drivers from Ortega Drives are always there on time with very little wait time. It is always a smooth process and after a long traveling day it is greatly appreciated. read more

I wanted to give a huge shout out to Ortega Drives! Mike dropped us off at Ontario Airport a few weeks ago-superb service! Then Alexandra picked us up at midnight a few days later-the almighty wind night! Not only was she on time she safely navigated us home through dark/unlit neighborhoods, debris strewn streets and sometimes zero stoplights like the pro she is! Alexandra, you are truly the best! We thank you so much. Great job Ortega Drives, you're #1 read more

Great service and our driver, Adrian was very helpful and friendly! My husband and I used them for a ride to and from Ontario airport.

Mike and his staff took excellent care of us. We used Ortega Drives to take us from Covina to LAX as well as for the return trip. Mike was communicative before the transport, and arrived early for both trips. The ride was enjoyable; felt like we were with a friend. Easiest return trip ever since we were picked up curbside at arrivals instead of having to shuttle to another area to wait for rideshare. I highly recommend Ortega Drives based on our recent experience. We plan on using them again for our next trip! read more

Great service! Accommodated us with a last minute LAX pickup. Alexandra was on there within minutes of us getting our luggage and was a pleasure. Definitely recommend them! read more

My first experience with Ortega Drives was earlier this year when my sister booked a driver to take us to the Kia Forum to see Jo Koy. Mike drove us, and gave us VIP service. Clean car with water, snacks and phone chargers. He dropped us off and picked us up at easy access points. My next experience was when I booked a ride to LAX, and Alexandra was my driver. Same excellent service as Mike. She arrived on time and even lifted my super heavy suitcase in/out of the car. The water and snacks in the car were appreciated because you never know how long it's going to take to get through TSA! I also booked another ride with Alexandra to an event at the Hollywood Pantages. That trip was also easy peasy! Looking forward to using these awesome drivers again in the coming months. read more

Hired this company very last minute and we loved them! We originally hired a private driver to the airport and had an awful experience. I'd seen this company on NextDoor and saw their glowing reviews AFTER I had already hired the first guy so after the ad experience with the first guy, we decided to use Ortega Drives for the ride back from LAX on our return flight. Save yourself the heartache and just go with the best from the get go. Ortega Drives was awesome! On time, great communication, car was clean, driver was great, price was fair. The airport left our luggage in Italy and changed our flight three times and Ortega Drives was patient and kind through all the changes and great with communication. Thanks, guys, we appreciated it. We will use them again! read more

So thankful for this service! Mike dropped me off and picked me up early, early morning for LAX. Very punctual His car is immaculate and provides water, snacks, and a charger for your phone. Mike is extremely friendly and fun to talk to on the drive. His service made the dreaded trip to and from LAX more convenient and less stressful. Definitely recommend!!!! read more

This has to be our worst experience ever. We book a few weeks out. Get the confirmation. Then 6 HOURS BEFORE THE FLIGHT THEY CALL TO CANCEL CAUSE A DRIVER HAD COVID. Then after THAT they call back a LITTLE later saying they found someone. Which they did but why not do that before? GIVING YOU THE RUN AROUND AND ALL THAT. We didn't have a choice and had to use them cause it was only a few hours before our flight. O here's the another worst part about this car service. IF YOU LEAVE A CARSEAT WITH THEM THEY DONT EVEN BRING YOUR OWN original CARSEAT TO PICK UP. They brought a I think it's your car seat and NEVER RETURNED OURS TILL DAYS LATER!!!' Trust at your own risk !!! This has to be the worst car whatever you call it. I would never use them again. Private PM for messages from this company and VM Also after all this they returned a pick up tip cause they knew they messed up lol' DO BETTER! read more
