    Clean restroom
    Rocio R.

I took my kids to watch Super Mario. We got our popcorn and mommy's drink since we accidentally got there too early. We waited in their lounge area. Everything was clean. I was really impressed by their family restroom. We each took our own water bottles. I had purchased some black tickets from work. Sadly, that only discounted the ticket pricing. It used to actually pay for the tickets in full. I just don't see how the prices are so high. That's why I skip watching my movies now in theaters. I wait for them to come out and price goes down to $5 rental. I only bring my kids for the experience but sadly that's going to decrease as well given the increased prices.

We came on a Tuesday night during the busy holiday season so the parking lot was packed with all the holiday shoppers. There's a lot of parking out front but its pretty busy. We went up an escalator to get to the theater which is upstairs. They also provide stairs to walk up and down as well. Once upstairs they have a spot to scan your tickets which we purchased in advanced. Highly recommend to do that to ensure you get a seat. We got ours a few days before the showing and some seats were already gone. They also have kiosks on the outside if you would like to purchase tickets there. We headed inside and they told us where to go. We went to see zootopia with my kids which was very good. The theater we were at was small but comfortable. Each seat is a big recliner. You press buttons on the side to go up and down. They're very comfortable to sit in and pretty large. 2 of my kids could have sat in one seat. They also have heated seats! So make sure to use that feature as well. I didn't know about it until the movie was finished but it would have been nice to know. Great spot. We enjoyed the movie.

It's the @light_skin_dragon coming to you with a family outing that the dearest bought for me and my daughter! She was being nice because our daughter wanted to watch SpongeBob square pants. And she kept her word to our daughter which I appreciate and she even invited me. This AMC had exclusive merchandise for SpongeBob so we bought it for our daughter to create an experience for her. The kid in me never went to the movies with my family but for my daughter I want to give her a life I've never had so I make sure to put my own pride aside most of the times and just to see her smile! I want her innocence to remain and doing things all together to see her smile I will do that. And I appreciate dearest to keeping her word and inviting me because a memory was made.

AMC DINE-IN Montclair Place 12 is a really fun spot to watch movies, experiencing the comfort of dining while watching a film. Located in Montclair Place, this place has quickly become one of my favorite theaters. I usually come here to watch the most anticipated movies on IMAX screen. This AMC theater also seems bigger than the one in Ontario Mills. The movie screens are wider than AMC DINE-IN Ontario Mills and the seats are way more comfortable. The spacious seating arrangements ensure that you have ample legroom and a clear view of the screen, no matter where you are seated. Recently I watched "Avatar: Fire and Ash" on IMAX screen and the overall experience was fantastic. The staff here were nice and cooperative. I love watching movies at AMC DINE-IN Montclair Place 12 and hope to come back soon.

4++ This location is at the Montclair mall. I've been here a couple of times now (this location has IMAX). On my visit, parking was easy to find - note it was a weeknight and the theater was easily accessible from the parking lot. The concessions area was standard, in a good way, with helpful people. The theater itself was comfortable with great seating and had that big, beautiful IMAX screen. My most recent visit, I went to watch the How to Train Your Dragon 2025 remake here and it was a treat watching it in IMAX. This theater is not too far from where I work on the way home so this location is definitely high in my rotation list in terms of AMC theaters, especially when I want to catch the movies I want to see on an IMAX theater. I just wish I had an IMAX closer to where I lived or worked, but that complaint ventures into 1st world problem territory.

Do not come to this theater! AMC completely cheeped out. They no longer have dine in delivery to your seat, they took almost all of the food off the menu and they make you place your order and wait off to the side for 10 minutes while they prepare your food. You are basically limited to popcorn, frozen chicken strips and a hotdog for food.

Located at the Montclair Mall. Plenty of parking. It is on the second floor, so may not be the easiest to get to for those that have difficulty walking. This is a Dine In Theater so the chairs in the theaters have tables for food that they can/may deliver to you - nice convenience! The chairs themselves do recline a bit, but not as much as other AMC theaters. One nice feature that the chairs have are seat warmers. They have two settings, which is good because the high setting gets pretty hot.

This theater is amazing. It's very clean. Very modern. I was impressed the seats in the theater were heated. I'm going back this weekend and made this my preferred theater. I set up my food order to be delivered to my seat and it was right on time and cooked well.

I always have a good time at AMC. The reclining chairs are so comfortable and never feel extremely dirty. One thing I'll say though is that prices are getting a bit too expensive for movies. I'd only go to amc if I can get a ticket deal. I rarely buy the ticket without the deal.

I wonder what we'll see tonight?
    Pam S.

I am ALWAYS here... due to my A-list membership. I believe in patronizing these locations so that they may stay open and people remain employed. Now having said all that let me remark about how the chairs are inconsistent... some have warmers others don't. If you want to see your movie on Dolby or IMAX you pretty much need to see it the first week a movie premieres after that the showtimes alternate with what ever new movie was released. As far as food goes... I used to love the sampler here but recently they changed the menu so that is no longer my fave. I'm bummed because it doesn't look like they added anything tasty. Removed the Habanero Mango Wings and the Onion Rings. In fact they have really minimalized their menu, which is a bummer because now I will have to go get something to eat before my movie. They also don't get enough between movies to clean the theater properly. Note to moviegoers ordering food... TIP the delivery person. I can't tell you how often I watch these young people hustling into the theater to drop off food and I NEVER see anyone hand them anything. Parking is ample on the side facing the freeway. If you choose to park where Sear's used to be just be mindful that in the evening you are probably walking out alone with very little lighting. Respectfully Reviewed

Not terribly inventive Mexican given what's out there in DTLA or even OC but kudos for attempts at menu expansion! Because of that, I booked outside seating on OpenTable for Cinco de Mayo for drinks at 6:30 for 4 of us. We arrived at 6:25. We were notified that they were running behind, but still were not seated at 7... we were told there was no outdoor seatings coming up in the near future but they could honor our reservation shortly at an indoor table... but unfortunately it was club-decibel live music for the holiday so we went elsewhere. I do feel that managing holiday crowds and reservations is a reasonable expectation for a restaurant of this caliber/ price point. Recommend as a local option only but with a few caveats, not my top choice.

Unfortunately, there were a few disappointments during dinner. We ordered the crab cakes and were told they were unavailable. We then ordered lamb chops, which were also unavailable. Thankfully, the food we did receive was amazing and we were still enjoying our evening while waiting for birthday dessert. What completely changed the experience was when the manager, Destiny, approached our table and told us we needed to move to accommodate another party. We explained that we also had a reservation, were still eating, and were waiting on dessert. Instead of handling the situation professionally, her approach came off with an attitude and as though we were an inconvenience for not wanting to move in the middle of our meal. As a manager, professionalism and customer service matter, especially when guests are celebrating special occasions. Better reservation management could have prevented this situation entirely. Even other guests nearby seemed shocked by what was happening. Roger ended up apologizing on her behalf, even though he was not the issue. He truly did his best to save the experience, while the manager never came back to apologize herself. The food and our waiter were excellent, but the management experience was extremely disappointing and unprofessional.

They've got indoor and outdoor seating and they seemed a touch understaffed for being a beautiful day. It was also a Tuesday lunchtime so maybe they weren't expecting it to be as busy as it was. We were able to prove the menu before we got seated. And our super friendly server came out and we were able to order right away. They've got a lunch special. That is a small personal pizza with a salad and we each got that. Salads came out first and I had the arugula salad, which was absolutely phenomenal. 10 of 10 would eat this every single day. The arugula was peppery and it was well dressed in a lemon vinaigrette type sauce. I am a fan of just plain lemon on mine, but this was delicious. My husband got a union salad, which is their specialty I guess. It's got colored carrots and some beets and some shallots. I thought the dressing was bland and it certainly needed salt and pepper. We asked for both and didn't get either. Our pieces came out and they were nice and woodfired. I feel like they could've been done just a little bit longer maybe a minute or two. The sauce was a lovely fresh type crushed tomato sauce. The cheese was nice and gooey and did not feel or taste like a package of processed cheese. Pepperonis were greasy, but in a real meat kind of way. I had to dab mine, but my husband just went to town on his. The pickled peppers is a pickled jalapeño. Big chunks of them. They certainly didn't skimp on any of the toppings. They were a little sweet and a little hot. Some of the big chunks were a little too sweet for my liking but overall, it was a nice flavor mix Also from a size standpoint, I thought the salad and pizza were very adequate for lunch at around $20 price point I asked for salt and pepper again as well as a side of ranch. This time we did get the salt and pepper as well as cheese and crushed red pepper. But we didn't get the ranch until we were leaving. The server did apologize and said he thought someone else was bringing it out but I pretty much deducted a star because we asked for a couple different things that never came. Overall, the service was super friendly, the ambience was nice for an outdoor lunch thought. It was my first visit here but it won't be my last. I had already did my browsing of what's on the menu. I joined in on the crispy tofu for the appetizer and the crispy salmon skin salad. When we walked in it was busy. The Dodger game was on at the bar. There were maybe three open tables at most. We were seated at their small table against the wall. A cozy table for two. We were greeted by our friendly server, she brought the menus and ask us about drinks to start. I've water all around, haha. She came back with our water. Ooh, tasted like cucumber water... Refreshing. While my lady was deciding, I ordered: crispy tofu appetizer (presented in a small dish, about 10-12 pieces of hot, crispy cubes of golden tofu with a dipping sauce) and the salmon skin salad for my entree. The salad was an ample sized serving to share between the two of us. The salmon skin was julienned and were crispy little clumps like miniature fishy hash browns. Very crispy and tasty salad that included sliced tomatoes, cucumber, and scallions on mixed greens. My date ordered the charshu ramen. We shared our plates. The ramen was very tasty. The noodles had a good chew, not over cooked. Mmm, that was delicious. The robotic server was kitchy and cute. Maybe it does assist them with delivering plates to the table but the human server was observed transferring them from the bot to the table. For our table, we had our food delivered in stages not at the same time. The crispy tofu arrived first, then the ramen, and several minutes later came the salmon skin salad. Not a deal breaker but noticed. Food was good. Service was okay, could be better.

But even happier I got to see mom and her friends enjoy themselves at this historical spot.

Food was great. I got the tostada salad with carne asada and the meat was perfect. Definitely will…read morego back and recommend. They have Mexican food and other items too. Service could have been a little better. We had to ask for more water and it wasn't crazy busy.

We went here for a wine/food pairing event and it was an experience to remember. Most people…read morevisiting this area of Claremont tend to forget that this is a restaurant along with an extensive collection of wines. There are indoor and outdoor seating areas as well as seating at the bar counter. We started with Shiso leaf & Ribeye bite, citrus salad with shaved Brie and mint, Potato leak soup, Organic Red carrots, celery root purée with chili oil, Filet mignonette for the main entree and to finish up with a special Halo Halo dessert. Each course was paired with special white or red wine from the packing house. Staff were so attentive and the foods were excellent. From the regular menus, ample selections and at a reasonable price. The bonus is, you can get some wine after dinner.

One of the things I miss most post-Covid is wine-tasting and wine-classes. Many of my old regular…read morespots never resumed their pre-covid wine events. A friend I met many years ago at a wine tasting invited me to a Burgundy wine class at Packing House Wines, and I attended. The store is located up a few steps on the north side of the Claremont Packing House. Parking is usually not an issue as there is a big multi-level parking garage on the east side of the packing house. All attendees sat down to a list of wines to be tasted, a printed out copy of the slides being presented, a big burgundy wine glass for pours, water, and a nice little charcuterie plate. The owner Sal gave the presentation, and it was easily the best wine class I have ever attended. He talks pretty fast, but not too fast, and his delivery was excellent, providing an extensive amount of information that was easy to understand. We pretty much learned everything about Burgundy wines from the history of the region, the stringent production laws, different classes of Burgundy wines, and details about all of the different producers and regions we tasted wines from. The class was scheduled for two hours, but it ended up lasting for two and a half hours. It would have been easy to stay for much longer as the class and wines were very enjoyable. The wine class was a little pricey at $125 per person, but this was a bargain as Burgundy wines are expensive. We were able to taste ten 1.5 ounce pours including several Premier Cru and Grand Cru wines (one of them was $350/bottle). My favorites were the '17 Albert Bichot Fixin ($53.99) and the '20 Domaine Lecheneaut Vosne Romanee ($124.99) which I purchased. They have wine classes regularly, and I will definitely return if one catches my eye. They have quite a selection of wines for sale, as well as tasting flights and food from their kitchen.
