This place is stunning. It was built in 1931. I've been coming here for years, I would come and see The Nutcracker by Inland Pacific Ballet years ago. But most recently I saw Shen Yun there. It was stunning. We wanted to sit on the balcony because there are no visual obstructions like posts or anything. The ceiling of the auditorium has the zodiac signs on it painted in blue silver and gold by Giovanni Smeraldi. The balcony holds 500 seats and the whole auditorium is 2,494 total seats. The workers were very nice and attentive and helped us to find our seats. They did provide water bottle for purchase once inside.

We went to see the Shen Yun performance last night. The theater is beautiful inside and out. The show was spectacular! The women's bathroom situation was insane with a line 20 or so deep each time we tried to go. The two little shuttles they had after our show ended at 9:15 pm could not keep up with the huge amount of people needing to take it back to the parking lot. People were walking on the shuttle not even getting in line. Very disorganized. We ended up walking all the way back to our car.

Nice place and cozy . Seats may be a little bit smaller. But the view from any seats is good .

Came here to see The Little Mermaid by The Inland Pacific ballet. The Auditorium is inside the college. You have to park in the parking garage when you first drive in. It is free but you have to walk a little to get there. Box office staff were friendly and helpful. The place is very clean and has a nice decor. Greeters were very friendly so where the Usher's to help you find your seats. The seats themselves are comfortable but they are just to close together. The best seats in the House are obviously the first two rows and the balcony. Now it is kinda hard to see the performance if there's someone sitting in front of you. The show was so Beautiful and the stage setup props and costumes were Amazing! It it was a delightful show the music and choreography were spectacular! We would come back and see another show. We just know now to get front row seats or balcony seats.

Came to see the Little Mermaid ballet performance by Inland Pacific Ballet. The performance was amazing! The dancers, props, and lighting effects were awesome! I really enjoyed the added lighting effects the most! The auditorium was very nice and elegant! I loved the set up just not seating so much. It was hard to see because all seats are at the same level which was a downfall especially for all the little kids there to see the performance. The location of the auditorium is beautiful I really loved how green and open the college is, so as you walk out it felt very enchanted. Very nice, I saw many people taking pictures out there. Parking is free in the first parking structure as you enter on 1st street. From there the walk is up hill and about 5-7 minutes away from the auditorium. I recommend arriving early for performances due to that walk.

I came here over the weekend to watch Shen Yun. It was a very beautiful and talent driven performance. The auditorium was great, the outside is so beautiful with the trees. The seats are comfortable, but not at an angle so if the person in front of you is tall you'll struggle to see the stage. Otherwise, parking was free and the walk from the lot to the auditorium was short.

Came here to watch the nutcracker ballet - beautiful rustic style auditorium. The ceiling artwork is pretty, everything is clean and well kept - just, old and dated. Only minuses I could find were the bathrooms which had long lines (reminds me of the Pantages) and the tight seating rows. Seats themselves were very comfortable.

Shen Yun is more of a propaganda show than a dance performance. Don't waste you money.

I had seen the first half of Wicked at home through streaming, so it was a treat to watch the second half in the theater. It was packed! All ages, everyone appreciative, with applause at the beginning and end. I chose a seat near the back because these theaters are much smaller than the more commercial AMC or Regal cinemas. Seating is not luxury recliner style, but comfortable enough. Staff at the Laemmle is friendly, and their concessions seemed decent, offering even some alcohol options.

I am not a Trekkie, I knew nothing about this film and the only time I'd see Star Trek was on channel 13 when I was switching channels. The film was actually really cool and the Q&A with the director was even better! The movie going experience itself was very nice. The screen seemed huge compared to other indie theaters I've been to and the seats were comfortable. I would see more films here if I'm in town. I know they are always showing a lot of very cool indie films and limited releases. Parked at the parking structure down the street and walked over. Claremont is a very cool place to visit and Laemmle's is a great excuse to visit this town.

Oh, and did I mention that I came up with this idea less than a week before we needed it to happen? Thank you Justeen! We asked for a chicken witty and entertaining enough for our super fun and intelligent teacher, that the parents would laugh at AND that the kids would enjoy, and you definitely pulled it off! Chuck, you are a phenomenal chicken!!! All I had to do was make a phone call and then fill out the email questionnaire and Chuck tailored our presentation just for us! It was fun and you personalized it just enough. It never sounded like you were reading a script or doing the same tired old act. Upbeat and fun...even at the last minute. When the schedule changed at the very last minute, I was afraid they wouldn't be able to make it happen, and I worried about an increased fee since all we had to work with was our donation money. Not a problem. They were completely accommodating, no extra fee, and they kept in contact with me every step of the way. Chuck arrived just as planned and everything went off without a hitch. I will absolutely use A Class Act again. Chuck tells us he does 40 different characters, and I can't wait to see some more. He's very talented, polite and patient. This really is a class act service!

She is simply the best! I feel incredibly lucky to have met Patricia and begun my singing journey with her. I've been a student at Studio Shanks since 2018, when I was fresh out of college and looking for a voice teacher who could earnestly teach me how to sing. At the time, there were flashy online ads for folks that could "make you a superstar" and all of it felt so loud and nothing seemed to fit. At one point Patricia returned my call. Immediately I knew that she was the right teacher for me. It was obvious that she is not just naturally fun and easygoing, but also a true technician when it comes to the craft of singing. It's been a few years since we began working together. I've discovered that singing is something that can be learned at any age. It requires hard work, but it can be done. Luckily, Patricia is entirely dedicated to the growth and success of her students. Knowing this makes it much easier to bring my own effort during and between classes. I am honestly amazed at how, despite having worked with many respected luminaries in the field, Patricia remains humble and always with a sense of humor that puts me at ease. She is everything that comprises a professional artist and educator. What I love most is that she cuts through the noise and focuses on pure foundations. That means that she is able to work with vocalists ranging from the most contemporary pop styles to opera to musical theatre and beyond. All kinds of singing require the same basic knowledge of healthy and safe vocal techniques. At Studio Shanks, everything counts and everything matters. Thank you so much, Patricia!
