Steak, Eggs, hash browns & toast

Brunch with my husband, as we didn't know if they had kid options (we planned this on a day they were with grandma). They do have a small list of choices for kids, breakfast and lunch options so that was good to know. Weed outside, it was decorated really cute. The hostess and our waitress were very friendly and welcoming. My husband ordered the steak and eggs and it was a pretty good size plate. It was steak, eggs and hashbrowns with a side of toast for $25. I ordered the chicken and waffles with country potatoes. The country potatoes were so delicious. They had bell peppers and onions & were seasoned perfectly. The chicken seemed like it was hand breaded. It wasn't too thick. It wasn't too crispy. It was perfect with a perfectly golden waffle and some spicy aïoli sauce. It was delicious! We will definitely be back soon!

Came here with a girlfriend and enjoyed our time here! Haven Haus is a new addition to La Verne with other locations in Temecula and Rancho Cucamonga. There is indoor and patio seating, and because I asked for first available, we were able to get a seat in the patio immediately. Inside the restaurant, the ambiance is super cute and very IG worthy, very feminine vibes with lots of floral decor and neon lights throughout, cute chandeliers, targeting the brunch lovers (Like me and my friend!)! The menu is focused on breakfast and lunch items and even has a QR code to scan if you are interested in hosting a private event here. They have all kinds of fun drinks, and I LOVE that they have different kinds of flights - from classic and signature coffee flights, energy refresher flights, and mimosa or margarita flights. Hayden was our server and she was delightful. My friend and I were interested in getting the breakfast board to share and she was helpful in letting us know what substitutions could be made on the board. While my friend got the classic flight, I got the signature coffee flight. While they were all good, and they were so cute to look at, the creme brulee latte was my favorite! The breakfast board itself was a generous portion of pancakes, waffles, french toast, eggs, sausage and bacon and fresh fruit. More than enough for the both of us! It was pretty basic stuff so you can't really screw it up, but it tasted fine - nothing extraordinary, however the presentation was very cute. I would definitely come back and try something more unique to see how it stacks up to other brunch places I've enjoyed. The only negative is the restroom, it's the weirdest layout. There's a door that enters into a double sink area, and a second door that opens outwards to one toilet stall - super irritating. Watch out or you can whack someone when trying to enter/exit the toilet. Ladies already have to wait a long time for the restroom, doesn't help when there's a line by the sink, only to have to have everyone back up out into the hall to try and let the other person out. I think the door was installed the wrong way and should've opened inward like most bathrooms. They need to get that fixed ASAP.

I met a friend here for brunch around 11 a.m. on a Sunday, so we expected a wait, but it ended up being a little longer than anticipated. The waitlist estimated 25-30 minutes, but we didn't get seated until about 45 minutes later. We both ordered the Signature Latte Coffee Flight, which is such a fun idea, but it ended up being a bit underwhelming. Out of the four, the Café de Olla was definitely the standout. We were also a little confused because the drinks tasted more like cold brews than lattes. For food, we ordered the Chicken & Waffles and the Biggie Bagel. My chicken was nice and crispy, but slightly dry. The waffle fries were really good, and I especially liked the sauce that came with the dish. My friend enjoyed her bagel, but it was served on a plain bagel instead of the everything bagel listed on the menu. Overall, Haven Haus is a decent brunch spot. They have a wide variety of menu options, so most people should be able to find something they'll enjoy. Parking was easy, which is always a plus. What really stood out was the service. Despite how busy they were, our waitress was friendly, attentive, and checked on us often throughout the meal. The food didn't completely wow us, but the great service definitely made for a pleasant experience.

Steak, Chilaquiles and meat lover skillet

Such a beautiful spot with fantastic food at super fair prices! The atmosphere is gorgeous, and the customer service is truly top-notch. I had a small mix-up with my skillet order, ordered the veggie skillet and added chorizo, instead I received the meat lovers (totally delicious! But I prefer more veggies to meat) but the staff handled it effortlessly--they remade it right away, and the owner even personally came over to apologize and make sure everything was right. Wonderful hospitality and a great vibe overall. I'll definitely be back!

It was so good the first time that I went again the next day! This place hits all the marks: service, excellent. Ambiance, excellent. And the most important part, the food was outstanding! This will definitely be my new spot, especially since it's right by my house!

Haven Haus Cafe is an absolute gem! They've only been open for about three weeks, and I have a feeling this place is going to be incredibly hard to get into once word gets out. The aesthetic is absolutely beautiful, every detail is thoughtfully designed, making it the perfect brunch spot and incredibly Instagram-worthy. The service was just as impressive. From the warm welcome by the host to the exceptional service from our server, Brittany, the entire experience felt polished and welcoming. We tried the refresher flight, an açaí bowl, and the breakfast bagel sandwich, and everything was delicious. The only thing that missed the mark for us was the hash browns, which had a noticeably oily taste. Other than that, the food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Overall, this is a fantastic addition to La Verne. Great atmosphere, great service, and a menu we'll definitely be coming back to explore. Looking forward to our next visit!

I highly recommend making reservation through their website, since after seeing how busy it gets on a Friday morning. The hostess was very sweet and got us seated quickly, and our server was friendly and informative about the menu, which we appreciated. The atmosphere is honestly breathtaking--beautiful, aesthetic, and perfect for photos. Definitely a great spot if you're looking for a cute "gram" brunch place. As for the food, it was just okay. I ordered the garden veggie benedict with hash browns, and unfortunately the hash browns were eh. We also got the banana chocolate chip waffle with the combo, which was decent but nothing standout. Overall, I loved the decor and vibe.

I had a wonderful experience at the new Haven Haus Cafe in La Verne! The first thing I noticed was how easy it was to park. The shopping center has plenty of parking all around the building, so getting in and out was quick and convenient. The café itself is absolutely beautiful. The décor has a modern glam feel with mid-century influences, featuring gorgeous statement chandeliers, marble tables, lush greenery, velvet seating, and warm blush tones throughout. It feels cozy, stylish, and inviting without being overdone. We visited on a Thursday around 1:00 p.m. and were greeted immediately by a friendly host, who seated us right away. The restaurant wasn't too busy, and the atmosphere was perfect. The music was at just the right volume soft enough to enjoy while still making conversation easy. I ordered the warm Spanish latte, and it was delicious with beautiful latte art. For brunch, I had the French toast topped with bananas and candied pecans, and it was absolutely delicious. I made it a combo with two eggs and two sausage links, and everything was fresh and cooked perfectly. Our server was friendly, attentive, and checked on us throughout the meal without being intrusive. The restaurant was spotless, and the entire staff made us feel welcome. I've also visited the Rancho Cucamonga location, and I've consistently had great experiences there as well. It's nice to see the same excellent food, service, and attention to detail at the new La Verne location. If you're looking for a great brunch spot with beautiful décor, delicious coffee, and outstanding service, Haven Haus Cafe is definitely worth a visit. I can't wait to come back!

Breakfast Croissant and Signature Cold Brew Flight
    Rebekah H.

This was my first time at a Haven Haus out of the three locations, and it was an absolutely amazing experience. The vibes are it, the service is impeccable, and the food/drinks are delectable. I had the signature coffee flight, which was great. Better than another coffee flight I've had before. The breakfast croissant, per Evelyn's suggestion, hit the spot where the jam had a savory kick to it. Evelyn, a current international business major, provides superb customer service! Mackenzie (sorry if wrong spelling), is a warm hostess with great coffee recommendations who originally suggested the coffee flight. This is the first week of the grand opening, and this place was crowded on a Friday. It's the off season for schools and ULV too, so I can't imagine how much more of vibe Haven Haus will be. I know I will be back here again as the bar has charging outlets for people who want to work or study!

I saw a tik tok about this place and it looked so good I had to try it ! It was mid week and it was very packed but still we only waited about 30 minutes to be sat. The service was great as well our server was very nice. We tried out the coffee flight which was about $15 and all of the coffee had a great strong flavor, not watered down at all. My favorite was definitely the Spanish latte! Their chicken and waffle was also very good as well as the house aioli. Overall it was a cute experience, definitely a place you can take good pictures and eat great food !

Haven Haus is a fantastic new addition to La Verne. The area really needed a spot with great food and a good vibe, and this place delivers. My wife got the chilaquiles, my daughter went with the two eggs and pancake, and I had the Diablo omelette. Everything was delicious! We also loved our drinks, my wife's Spanish latte and my Dirty Chai were both excellent. Our waitress was attentive and super friendly. We'll definitely be back soon!

Bacon Avo Benny. Delicious full of flavor

Stopped for their Soft Opening. Miss the original Pizza N Stuff, but Haven Haus is a great new replacement for La Verne. The ambience the food was great. The wife and I will be definitely coming back again. She had the breakfast tacos with chorizo. I had Bacon Avo Benny, both dishes were delicious. Had the mint condition coffee. We definitely coming back again to try out other dishes.. I know it was a soft opening, but the service was fantastic. A lot of knowledge about the dishes took the waitresses (Jazmine) recommendations and it was not a disappointment..

We have been a few times since it has opened in La Verne and we have enjoyed it every time we have come. The decor and the vibes are so fun!! The food is amazing the first time we came we had the brunch board and it is huge and was very good definitely can share. This last time we went we got the hummus board and the steak tacos and WOW everything was so delicious!! Can't wait to try more items on the menu.

And then I just mix them up for the last five to eight bites. It's heavenly, combining the best parts of the breakfast into a mash that is more delicious than its individual components. I call it the Grand Finale. And I've done it all across the country in dozens of cities in hundreds of restaurants for decades now. But it takes really good runny and sunny eggs that haven't been overdone or else the ten to twenty minutes of eating everything before the Grand Finale is just going to leave the eggs hard and unusable. It also takes some good meat that not only will be flavorful on their own but also blend well with the mush. And lastly, it takes a good set of hash browns that isn't overly crispy or overly mushy. Roberta's Village Inn has all of that and more. That was one of the best Grand Finales I've had in years. Usually I don't do it with gravy because the country gravy tends to overpower everything else. But the country-fried steak with gravy didn't do that at all. It blended right in with all the other tastes. So too did the eggs remain remarkably running, all the better to be mixed at the end. And, of course, the thin-cut hash browns was plentiful, seasoned (by me), and, mostly importantly, crispy enough on top and bottom, while remaining soft (but not mushy) within. It was the Perfect Storm of a Grand Finale. The service was great. My server took extra care of me, even when I made the mistake of not noticing the food joint was cash only. I took it all in stride. She not only checked on my just frequent enough but was extra helpful in getting me refills, to-go containers, and the check when it was appropriate. The mood and style of the place was classic diner and I dug it. All ever want is a place to chill in with good food, that isn't overly pressured to kick you out for turnover sake. I was about to say it's kind of a small dining room, but when I went to the ATM I saw they have a whole other dining room that must be for when the place starts jumping for the breakfast rush. I'm assuming that's their busiest time judging by how memorable my breakfast plate was tonight. Overall, I already want to come back during breakfast hours and witness the majesty and awesomeness of this food joint when it's fully operation. I'm betting that's really going to be something to see.

The coffee tastes like a clean, bitter, cold brew with a foamy top. (Important: Bring Cash. There's a 4% Cash Discount.) I arrived at Rail Side Cafe (San Dimas) on Thursday (around 12:13PM). Parking is simple but busy. There's a side lot for customers; sign says, "2 Hour Parking." Staff is courteous, no-nonsense, and diligent. Staff worked hard. Staff quickly answered all my questions. My coffee took about three minutes. Good time. As mentioned, I ordered the Nitro Cold Brew ($9 - Large - 24oz). The coffee is very standard. It tastes exactly like any imagined cold brew coffee. Personally, the roast tasted a little burnt, but it's a common, familiar coffee flavor. The strength was weak for a nitro, but the HUGE SIZE and affordability balances it all out. This is a functional, budget drink. On ambiance, Rail Side Cafe (San Dimas) is a HUGE success. There's a lot of utility. The location has a self-serve water station, public internet with no password, stacked high chairs for children, two game corners (ex: Chess, Giant Connect 4, Giant Jenga, Uno Cards, Etc), and about one available electrical outlet. I also appreciated the retro, upbeat music and 1930s movie decor. In addition, Rail Side Cafe (San Dimas) has plenty of seating. There's about four interior tables, but there's also 16 outside patio tables. The location is clean, well-maintained, and well ventilated.
