Food? Fantastic. Vibes? Immaculate. Service? Phenomenal. Lia took amazing care of us. We will be back.

I went to Mamimosas because my friends were visiting from out of town and staying nearby, and we were looking for a brunch spot. The food was actually really good and the ambiance was super cute and inviting. We went on a Thursday around 11 AM, so it wasn't very busy, but unfortunately the service could definitely be improved. We never got water for our table, even though I noticed other tables did receive theirs. Overall though, everyone enjoyed their food. I got the crepes and would definitely recommend them. The food was great, but the service needs some improvement.

I recently visited Mimosas Kitchen & Bar in West Covina for brunch and overall had a really enjoyable experience. The vibe is lively and modern perfect for a weekend brunch. The menu had a good variety of brunch classics with a fun twist. The food was fresh, well-presented, and portions were satisfying Service was friendly and attentive even though it was busy, and everything came out in a decent amount of time. I'd definitely come back again.

Mmmmmm!! This place is soooo goood! The location of this brunch spot is conveniently located near so many stores and other shopping locations; get brunch and shop after- Umm yess! Parking was easy to find although I can see that space could be limited on a busy weekend as it's surrounded by stores and other food spots (come with time to put your name down)! We found parking and got seated almost immediately for our party of 2. The menu is full of Cuban-infusion foods with great options and mimosas of course. I opted for a chicken pesto sandwich and it was absolutely delicious, and the salad....wow! My absolute favorite was the abuelita hot chocolate with espresso in it, I almost wanted to order more to-go. Overall I left very satisfied with the quality, taste and atmosphere!

Came this Sunday of Valentine's weekend and it was packed. We got there around 11:30 AM as a party of two and waited about 20-25 minutes (honestly not bad considering all the big groups). Host was super sweet and welcoming, we love a good first impression. We didn't realize until we sat down that it was a set coursed menu... surprise!! It was our first time so we didn't know! So it was appetizer, entree, dessert. The inside is adorable though. Very cute, very picturesque, very "wait let me take this photo first." Now let's talk food. The entrees were absolutely yum. My friend got the lechon, I got the chimichurri steak, and yes. So good. So filling. So much meat I had to box half of mine up (blessing). Our server Lia recommended the steak and she did not steer us wrong. She was personable, efficient, fast.. we loved her. The appetizers and dessert? Eh. We barely touched them. Lattes were good but a little on the sweeter side for our taste. Lavender latte and hazenut hot lattes- get it half sweet. Total was about $120 before tip. For that price, I don't think the full coursed experience was worth it but we still had a great time. Bonus points because the chef/owner came out to greet tables. Small detail, big impact. I'd come back to try other items if they have their regular menu... but no more surprise set menus for me haha.

Mamimosas in West Covina is such a fun spot if you're in the mood for a lively brunch with friends. The first thing that stands out is the vibe...it's bright, energetic, cute decor, and a crowd that's clearly there to have a good time. As for the drinks, the mimosas are the star of the show. They've got a bunch of different flavors, and they don't skimp, everything felt fresh and well balanced, not overly sweet. Perfect for sharing a flight and trying a little of everything. Food wise, the menu has solid brunch staples. Portions are generous, and everything came out looking just as good as it tasted. Nothing overly fancy, but definitely satisfying and pairs well with the drinks. Service was friendly and kept up with the busy atmosphere, which I appreciated because the place fills up quickly. Overall, Mamimosas is a great go- to if you're looking for a high energy brunch spot in West Covina with good drinks, good food, and a fun atmosphere. Definitely more of a celebrate with friends" kind of place than a quiet brunch date.

The food was very yummy and the service was fast! The tamarindo mimosa was especially delicious. The vibe of the restaurant is also very cute.

Definitely a great hidden brunch spot in the SGV!!! When you first walk in, you'll see the restaurant is decorated in the cutest decor! It's a small spot but it's definitely worth waiting for. We came on a weekday so we were sat right away. The staff were very attentive and kind! We definitely appreciated the great service as we've been to some restaurants lately and we've gotten some poor servers. I personally got the poblano omelette and it was very good! Their poblano sauce was super tasty! However, I wish I asked for some meat in there. I felt like it was missing something. My husband got the steak and eggs and requested to get the chimichurri steak and they were okay with swapping that out which was nice! We also shared the chicharron starter which was also very tasty! It was fresh and also included plantains or what seemed to be potatoes. Whatever it was, it was really good! Of course, the mimosa flight was tasty! I'm a little buzzed writing this right now but that's how you know it's made with love haha! Overall, a great experience and I can't wait to come back!!!!

We got sat down quickly but it was 9am so there wasnt any wait. The drinks were ok. The mimosa flight was good. The cucumber lime marg was terrible as well as the chicken and waffles. The chicken was way over cooked and rubbery. The waffle tasted premade. The restaurant is very cute and well decorated with lots of space.

The House Breakfast dish that I ate for brunch

I ate brunch at Mamimosas with three longtime friends from high school today, and I must say that the $17 House Breakfast dish that I ordered was pretty good! It consisted of two poached eggs, four smoked sausages, two grilled toasts and potato slices with dressing. Pretty delicious! The server who waited on us was very courteous, and the atmosphere inside the restaurant was very relaxed. Most of the patrons (including one of my friends) clearly consisted of employees who wanted to grub at this Latin American joint before heading back to work. And I'm not surprised! Mamimosas is a great place to have breakfast, brunch or lunch if you need to find a restaurant that serves delicious food while you're on a one-hour break. I'm definitely down to dine at this location again if my friends are in the mood to return for another meal as well!

I wish they charge more but give a better quality steak. But the way they flavored the steak was very good!! Then we ordered the smoked salmon benny, very delicious! Loved everything about this dish! Servers kept walking past our table without checking in and honestly looked kind of lost or wandering around aimlessly. Luckily they keep water pitchers on the tables already filled, which now makes perfect sense considering how long it takes to get service. Smart move on their part. I ordered the avocado toast with a side of bacon, and my husband ordered the chorizo skillet. The coffees and my food came out quickly, but his never did. Instead, we watched an older server walk around the restaurant with his skillet and bacon, stopping at multiple tables asking if it belonged to them. Twice she set it down at other tables before being told it wasn't theirs. The third time, she finally brought it to us. That seems like it should be a health issue, what if someone else had stuck their fingers in it not knowing. By then, my husband didn't even want it anymore because it had already been sitting in front of other people. To their credit, they remade it, but then we waited another 15 minutes for his food while I had already finished eating. We actually watched another couple sitting next to us get so frustrated because their order was completely forgotten. After waiting forever with no food and barely any acknowledgment, they eventually just got up and left. Overall, cute spot and really good coffee, but the service was incredibly disorganized and the food mix-up was a huge turnoff. Unfortunately, we won't be back.

It's a large-ish space, and I guess kind of like a sit-down place (not "turo-turo/cafeteria style like some Filipino joints), with a ton of Filipino snacks on the counter. Plenty of seats that have seen better days. A portion of the restaurant is covered in plastic to house some construction equipment ? I asked for the pork sisig ala carte and decided to add an order of kalderetang kambing and 2c of rice. Big mistake buying more than one entree when you are taking it home and have no clue how their food tastes. I trusted Yelp too much. . Sisig had a 1:1 ratio of meat to bell peppers. I also couldn't help but feel lile the peppers were undercooked, even raw. Maybe that was their style, but I also disliked the mayo on top. Now the kalderetang kambing had a strange fishy (gamey) smell in the car. When I tried it at home, the meat looked so red and tasted way too sweet, not at all like the Kalderetas I'm used to back home. The meat was falling off the bone soft though. This is my problem with Filipino restaurants in the US - if they can't make dishes better tasting than what I make at home (i rarely cook but im a good eater), I cannot rate them high at all. I've eaten too much Filipino food in my life to know what tastes good. I feel bad because the folks who work here/(owners?) are pretty nice and they were working on Valentines. But the current rating they have is misleading. If you're going for the big entrees like I did, and are used to Gerry's Grill type sisig, prepare to be disappointed. Yelp, you did not come thru for me this time.
