[[HIGHLIGHT]]First of all, while it is a small store, it is very pretty![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Parking was a little difficult because it is a busy plaza. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It is such a nice place for pictures![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was really busy the day we went ( sunday brunch) so the service was to be expected.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our waiter Josh was so so kind and so helpful! Lychee Spritz - super duper strong, we couldn't taste the lychee flavor Chilaquiles I think it tasted really good. The beans were very smooth and creamy. I liked the sauces. Would it be a filling meal by itself... I don't know. Milanesa de pollo My friend likes it. It usually comes with a salad or fries but they let us get it with rosemary potatoes instead. However, the menu says it comes with cheese and it came without it. We asked the server and even they said it should come with cheese. However they went to the kitchen and the kitchen said it should NOT have cheese... so we didn't get the cheese. they need to update the menu then.... Avocado toast: (My friend lol) ok this is going to be a very honest review. For being restaurant quality, it was very mediocre. AND when it first came out it was quite literally just sliced avocado on a toast. Seriously?? I ordered it because the menu said it came with a sundried tomato spread so I actually had to ask the waiter about it. And when it came out again it was a little better. But easily something I can make at home. I tend to order avocado toast at cafes because most places elevate theirs, but here was truly underwhelming. Grilled Pesto Chicken: My friend rly likes it! She got it with salad and no cheese. She says the portion was perfectly filling. The sourdough bread was toasted but it was not too crispy or hard to bite into, which she liked. The seasoning was on the lighter side, but that's her preference. The chicken was also not dry at all. Overall, she says 5/5! Feta Sundried Tomato & Spinach Omelette My friend liked it! The omelette itself wasn't very well seasoned, but the feta balanced it out. The food was good, definitely on the pricey side . We all finished our food so that is a plus. They definitely need to update the menu because we had a few complications with our meal. Overall, I was happy :) would I come again... yes but on a different day!

Menu states $2 to add egg to chilaquiles snd $4 to add carnitas.

This place was the on my Yelp bookmark of places to try. The Pros are: 1. It's conveniently located 2. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The decor and ambiance is super cute[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] 3. Service wasn't bad, but the server wasn't initially the friendliest maybe because it was a little early for a party of 6, not really sure. She eventually warmed up though. 4. Food was good but did lack seasoning as many reviews have stated. The Cons: 1. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Chipped coffee mugs and plates should never be used in any restaurant, it's just not a good look.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] 2. Prices on the menu should be what you're charged, per weights and measure's policy. Menu states to add egg to the chilaquiles plate it's $2.00 and to add carnitas it's $4.00, in actuality I was charged $3.00 for the egg and $6.00 for the carnitas which was the price for the steak on the menu. 3. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ceiling fans were on full speed and made the environment unpleasant because everyone was complaining that their eyes were stinging and drying out and not to mention makes your food get cold fast.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] 4. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The music, which was good but super loud, had us practically shouting in order to have a conversation.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] In conclusion I would try this place one more time. Everyone liked their food with the minor tweaks on the seasoning.

Ambience was lovely

The rosemary potatoes were the bomb.. [[HIGHLIGHT]]fresh ingredients decor is so relaxing cheerful bright.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service is great always have you water full. They do t have any sugar free options for the coffee. Have a girlfriend meetup here enjoyed the whole experience. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Calming music.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Downside but not a deal breaker is the parking.

Fantastic brunch spot! I came here with my family on a weekday and we loved everything we got! The passion fruit agua Fresca is a must! So yummy! My toddler and I were fighting over it, lol! The crepes and French toast were delicious. The chicken and waffles were pretty good. I personally think the chicken needed more salt, but that's just a preference. I asked for some of the green sauce and that sauce was magical and definitely really good on that chicken. I don't remember what my dad got, but I attached a picture lol. He lovedddd it. I know it's pork. Staff was great. I will be back again! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Also, the restaurant was cute![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I recently visited Mimosas Kitchen & Bar in West Covina for brunch and overall had a really enjoyable experience. The vibe is lively and modern perfect for a weekend brunch. The menu had a good variety of brunch classics with a fun twist. The food was fresh, well-presented, and portions were satisfying Service was friendly and attentive even though it was busy, and everything came out in a decent amount of time. I'd definitely come back again.

Mmmmmm!! This place is soooo goood! The location of this brunch spot is conveniently located near so many stores and other shopping locations; get brunch and shop after- Umm yess! Parking was easy to find although I can see that space could be limited on a busy weekend as it's surrounded by stores and other food spots (come with time to put your name down)! We found parking and got seated almost immediately for our party of 2. The menu is full of Cuban-infusion foods with great options and mimosas of course. I opted for a chicken pesto sandwich and it was absolutely delicious, and the salad....wow! My absolute favorite was the abuelita hot chocolate with espresso in it, I almost wanted to order more to-go. Overall I left very satisfied with the quality, taste and atmosphere!

Came this Sunday of Valentine's weekend and it was packed. We got there around 11:30 AM as a party of two and waited about 20-25 minutes (honestly not bad considering all the big groups). Host was super sweet and welcoming, we love a good first impression. We didn't realize until we sat down that it was a set coursed menu... surprise!! It was our first time so we didn't know! So it was appetizer, entree, dessert. The inside is adorable though. Very cute, very picturesque, very "wait let me take this photo first." Now let's talk food. The entrees were absolutely yum. My friend got the lechon, I got the chimichurri steak, and yes. So good. So filling. So much meat I had to box half of mine up (blessing). Our server Lia recommended the steak and she did not steer us wrong. She was personable, efficient, fast.. we loved her. The appetizers and dessert? Eh. We barely touched them. Lattes were good but a little on the sweeter side for our taste. Lavender latte and hazenut hot lattes- get it half sweet. Total was about $120 before tip. For that price, I don't think the full coursed experience was worth it but we still had a great time. Bonus points because the chef/owner came out to greet tables. Small detail, big impact. I'd come back to try other items if they have their regular menu... but no more surprise set menus for me haha.

Cilantro Ceasar Salad

The service was good , got seated fast and the table was nice . [[HIGHLIGHT]]The floor at the entrance was very dirty seemed like some salsa was on the floor under two tables.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]My plate that was set on the table was dirty looked like salsa.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The water had fruit in it that looked a bit old , and my mimosa flight came to the table warm. The cilantro Caesar salad tasted like pesto and oil , and my breakfast chilaquiles came with egg that was way too runny to enjoy.

I went to Mamimosas because my friends were visiting from out of town and staying nearby, and we were looking for a brunch spot. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The food was actually really good and the ambiance was super cute and inviting.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We went on a Thursday around 11 AM, so it wasn't very busy, but unfortunately the service could definitely be improved. We never got water for our table, even though I noticed other tables did receive theirs. Overall though, everyone enjoyed their food. I got the crepes and would definitely recommend them. The food was great, but the service needs some improvement.

Yes! Enjoy...

Do they offer takeout? I want to try their coffee but for to-go.

They do, I call in for my coffee and pick up for my lunch all the time.

All menus are available including dinner :)

Yes. One of the reviews from Sage Social Eatery referenced their next restaurant Mamimosas. Also upon pulling their profiles up on Yelp, the business owner is the same profile. Hence, they should be the same owner.

I've been going to Bella Cuba since I've lived in the OC the area for the past few years and…read morediscovered a love for their Cuban food. The high level and consistency of service and amazing food I had every time going to Bella Cuba is truly unique. Regardless if its just a simple lunch break, birthday dinner with friends, or anniversaries; I've spent a lot of time at this restaurant and have never had a bad time. So much so, that when it came time to figure out a caterer for my wedding Bella Cuba was my first phone call. Nick and his father Antonio were upfront with me about having never catered a wedding (we had 150 guests!) before even though they've catered other large events. I was convinced with their food and level of service that they would do an great job, and once the day came they did not disappoint. We got a little bit of everything: salad, garlic bread, beans, rice, garlic shrimp, pollo asado, and the oxtail! Nick coordinated with us every step of the way for months prior to our wedding. He even stayed for the whole wedding to make sure the food was served properly! One of the big takeaways from our wedding from all our guests and vendors was that they've never had better food at a wedding, and I think that's a testament to Nick and the whole staff's work ethic and attention to detail to their level of service and great quality of food and ingredients. My only wish is that my wife and I had more leftovers for ourselves, but the look on our guests faces when they got to take home the extra ox tail was worth it. Now, whenever my wife and I go back to the restaurant we're reminded about our fun wedding, and the food and service is always just as great. My wife highly recommends the oxtail. Being a vegan myself I always go with one of the vegetarian specials (They're vegan!) as I love the beans and yucca. I can't recommend this restaurant enough, 10 out of 10 for everything, you won't be disappointed!

HOW THEY FIX MISTAKES AND MADE THINGS RIGHT…read more I eat here from time to time and the food is excellent as well as the customer service which is second to none. I ordered the garlic chicken to go. However, when I got to work I realized they accidently have me two boxes of rice and and beans. I gave them a call, told them about it, and it was no big deal. I totally understand the lunch rush and all the boxes look the same. We're all human. This isn't the zombie apocalypse. I'll survive . That being said it was it was really how well they handled the situation. I returned there after work and we had a good laugh about it. Not only did they gave me the full correct order but also realized I like that lemony flavor of Cuba, but they also have a me a really nice dinner to go for me evening. And yes the lemony pork was absolutely delicious. There was no hesitation, no dispute, just all smiles acne appreciation from both of us. So to sum it up it really wasn't the mistake. It was HOW THEY MAKE YOU FEEL and how they take care of you as a customer. a now loyal custom for years to come.

Baracoa Cuban Restaurant was an amazing discovery when we stopped for a lunch pitstop on our drive…read moreup towards Tehachapi. I can easily see them being a favorite in the Palmdale area. There was plenty of parking in this lot. The entrance is located through their patio, which can be a bit counter intuitive. We came at opening and the restaurant got really busy during our time there. Initially we were looking at the sandwiches because it was lunch time, but then we were going to a wedding that night so we decided to eat something more filling since the ceremony and speeches always delay the eating. All entrees here are served with black beans and rice or congri, and 3 fried plantains. My boyfriend had the Ropa Vieja ($28) with the congri and I had the Lechon Asado ($25) with the rice and beans. Our food came out pretty fast after we ordered. My boyfriend's Ropa Vieja is a Cuban braised beef. The congri is basically a mix of the rice and beans. This dish was super tasty and the shredded beef was so tender with the bell peppers and onions. I can really taste the red wine and tomato sauce in the base. I took a few bites but in general I preferred my dish more, and vis versa he enjoyed his dish more. My lechon asado is a roasted pork that is super super tenderrrrrr. It was so sweet with the grilled onions and it had the perfect amount of fattiness without being over bearing. SO GOOD! Love the plaintains too. I'm glad I got the rice and beans option because I would have gotten too full too quick with the congri. I barely touched my beans and only got through half of my rice. Both dishes came with this super tasty garlic butter sauce that I poured on my rice and made it even tastier. It was so good. One thing I didn't enjoy about the experience was the flies attacking us and our food. Since the door is open and connected to their outdoor space, it leaves the opportunities for flies to come in. We had to play defense with the flies the whole time. The service here is a little slow. Especially when I was trying to get back on the road I wasn't feeling too patient. I waived down multiple staff members too. Also I got hit with an undisclosed 3% surcharge for using my credit card. I only found out after I got the receipt. I would have paid in cash if I knew. *dislike* LOVE LOVE LOVE the food. Might be the best Cuban food I've ever had... and I've been to Florida where there was a lot of Cuban spots. Room for improvement with service, flies prevention, and the disclosure of the credit card fee.

My aunt made reservations to this place in Palmdale. Palmdale is a very dry, hot heated area,…read more surrounded by bushes and lizards and maybe snakes too. Anyway, this place apparently is a fancy Cuban restaurant according to my aunt. We decided to eat here for dinner after 7pm on a Saturday and it was booked. A great place to take a date if you can even get one nowadays, lucky you. You found the right place. The Cuban food ordered was a vaca frita sandwich that was reasonably priced at $17 or so. It was dry, lacked seasoning and had even more dry plantain chips on the side fried to high heaven. My aunt ordered a grilled chicken sandwich. Still dry but more moist than my vaca frita sandwich. Server was Juan, he was good, good patience and quick delivery. Good overall was mid in my book. Maybe should have ordered the $65 plate with seafood. But it was overpriced. Although I could afford it, $65 for a plate is ridiculous. The other entrees included the fried bananas but the sweeter ones and black beans and rice with for example oxtail, fried steak, chicken and pork, of which was overpriced as well. At least $30 for each dish or more. Take a look at that menu. The ambiance inside was loud, outside was louder. Music was playing and there was this massive window door that separated the inside and outside. Inside it was small, there was a bar area for alcohol drinkers and in the back was a nice restroom. Other than that, it was a decent Cuban place, needs to adjust prices for the entree, but the sandwiches were at that sweet spot. The sand which to me needed sauce like tabasco or cholulu or some sort of wet birria sauce that would make it taste better. Incredibly dry, was not a fan of the texture, taste was fine. Came out to $50 for both plates and it was a little lackluster in my opinion but everything else, good service, nice ambiance and decent sandwich prices, it was worth the visit but maybe a one and done not sure. Maybe the plates are delicious.
