    Mini cheese borek
    Monica S.

Al Amir Bakery is my go to bakery for their mini cheese borek. I love that everything is made fresh. I've had to wait 45 minutes once for an order. Another fav is their zatar with cheese bread. I always order the minis and freeze a few. They hold up well and taste just as fresh when I toast them at home. The staff there are really friendly and helpful. I would say this is more of a grab and go spot even though there are chairs for dine in. As soon as I get inside my car, I immediately have to eat a borek. Nothing like bread fresh from the oven! Pro tip- call ahead since everything is made to order!

Second time coming here and was not disappointed , I did go to super king next door to grab some condiments to go with it; such as hummus, babaganoush, and garlic paste with fresh veggies. The bread is fresh and the flavors of the filling are well seasoned. We will definitely be coming back!

Stopped next door to get some pastries to bring to work and I saw this place. I was intrigued and went it. They make different flatbreads in mini and regular size as well as some closed stuffed breads. I chose the dozen minis to share with coworkers. It was a hit! Delicious. Can't wait to return and try others. Took only 10 minutes. Made to order. Inside, there are plenty of tables. They open early at 8am.

I was searching for a spot that makes fresh pita bread and found this amazing place! They make the most fluffy and delicious pita bread in front of you in their large oven. They are a large size and are perfect to enjoy for yourself or to share. The service is always amazing and the restaurant is very cozy.

Al Amir Bakery is one of those places you walk into once--and then find yourself coming back again and again. Their bread is next-level--warm, fluffy, and baked fresh throughout the day. The foul? Rich, hearty, and perfectly seasoned. Everything tastes like it was made with real care and tradition. The space is clean, the staff are kind and welcoming, and the service is quick without feeling rushed. It's clear they take pride in everything they do. Whether you're grabbing breakfast or just craving something authentic and satisfying, Al Amir delivers. Highly recommend!

Looking to try something new in this foodie realm that we eat and play in? Well level it up with these freshly baked Lebanese flatbreads. Choose from over a dozen different types of circular masterpieces that come with a variety of different toppings. I wanted to try them all but I told myself to hold back because I would be back! So I started off with the Sojouk that came with beef and special spices which I don't know what they were but it tasted good. Next I tried the Zaatar and Cheese which was kinda the same concept I had first but with a special blend of different cheeses. So far both were on target with satisfying my curiosity. So the last one was I tried was like an appetizer and that was the Labnah Platter. The only way I can try to describe this is like a flavored pita that came with a yogurt mixed with olive oil dipping cup. It's probably not the best way to describe it but I can tell you I seriously enjoyed this refreshing appetizer. The service was good and parking is a bit tight. And that's my take on it, Peace out...

My family has been buying from this bakery ever since I was a child, at LEAST 12 years, but Al Amir's baked goods have NEVER disappointed. Each order proves time and time again how thoughtful the owners are to creating the most delicious Lebanese pastry's you can find. the dough is so moist and fluffy, and the topping is simple yet so flavorful. Inside is the perfect place to sit and have a classic, Middle-Eastern breakfast with family. Nothing gets better than this place PLEAAAASE support!

But she had seen this Mediterranean spot nearby and was curious about it, so I told her we should give it a try. The restaurant is tucked into the corner of the lot, attached to the same building as a Starbucks. The Starbucks drive-thru can block a few of the front parking spots, but we got lucky and found one open. We walked in and were greeted right away--no one else was inside, which gave us time to explore the menu. Miriam, the young woman at the counter, was polite and patient while I explained the different dishes to my grandmother. She decided on a plate with lamb and steak kabobs, hummus, tabbouleh, cucumber yogurt, rice, and garlic sauce. I ordered the Zaky Bowl with beef & lamb shawarma, rice, and garlic sauce. We sat at a booth and waited while they cooked everything fresh, which was a nice surprise. The restroom was clean and the soda machine was self-serve for easy refills. When the food came out, it looked great and tasted even better. My grandmother enjoyed her meal and mentioned she'd come back here in the future as a healthier option. Fresh food, kind service, and a chill spot tucked right across from Norm's. Worth the visit.
